Abstract

People really care about healthy food and are also starting to realize the impact of waste or packaging waste from processed food. Therefore, food entrepreneurs need marketing innovation, especially sustainable packaging that is environmentally friendly. The target of service activities is to improve marketing skills with sustainable packaging. The method applied consists of analyzing needs, creating service designs, providing assistance in implementing technology to partners and carrying out ongoing evaluation and monitoring activities to see partner developments before and after service. Technology transfer to partners is carried out theoretically by presenting material through oral presentations, followed by discussion and questions and answers, then continued with practice with mentoring. Based on the results of the training carried out, the potential for Kalisegoro MSMEs to switch to environmentally friendly packaging has very high potential. Some food preparations that were originally packaged using Styrofoam, mica and Thinkwall can be changed to using paper packaging. Processed food packaging in large quantities, which originally used mica, has switched to bamboo baskets.

Abstract

The use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI), such as Chat Generative Pre-Trained Transformer (ChatGPT), is experiencing a significant increase among students for educational purposes, including lectures, completing assignments, and compiling final projects. This study aims to analyze the use of ChatGPT by accounting education students and investigate their intentions and behavior using the extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) framework. The study employed Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) analysis design with respondents from Accounting Education students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), totaling 134 students. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire distributed online via the Google Forms platform. Model testing was conducted first, followed by hypothesis testing in the PLS-SEM framework. Data analysis was conducted using the SmartPLS version 4.0 application. The results of the study showed that students' intention to use ChatGPT was more determined by performance expectancy and habit. Intention, facilitating conditions, and habits are significant predictors of use behavior. Intention can mediate the influence of habit on the actual behavior of students utilizing ChatGPT. In addition, extended-UTAUT2 constructs such as personal innovativeness, learning value, and novelty are unable to influence the intention and behavior of ChatGPT utilization by accounting education students.

Abstract

Keji Village is one of 35 tourist villages in Semarang Regency, but according to information from the Village Apparatus, it is a tourist village that is difficult to develop. This is because the Pokdarwis, which has been around for a long time, is getting more and more suspended and never carries out any activities. This is because there are no related institutions that work together to conduct training and the like. The biggest obstacle felt was the absence of souvenirs from Keji Village, due to limited natural resources that could be used as basic materials for making souvenirs. Based on observations, it is known that the majority of Keji Village residents are dominated by women, and most of them are unemployed/not yet working. To be able to attract the enthusiasm of the residents in participating in the training, training in making souvenirs that are attractive to women is needed. The objectives of this service activity are (1) increasing public awareness, especially housewives, on the importance of tourism villages; (2) reactivation of existing pokdarwis; (3) provide training and assistance in making beautiful sandals with knitted decorations. The solutions offered are workshops, counseling, and assistance through the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method. Through training and practice of making knitting sandals, service participants have new skills in the form of knitting and making beautiful sandals. The trainees were inspired to open up business opportunities by doing business in beautiful sandals online.
