The integration of Arabic in Islamic law is very important because Arabic is the original language of the Koran and Hadith, the two main sources of Islamic law. A deep understanding of Islamic law, or fiqh, requires a good knowledge of Arabic because the legal terms used in these texts often have nuances that can only be understood in the context of the original language. In Islamic law, the use of Arabic greatly influences the interpretation of religious texts. For example, small differences in word usage or grammatical structure can result in significant legal differences. Therefore, ulama and fuqaha (legal experts) often emphasize the importance of mastering Arabic to be able to understand, interpret and apply Islamic law correctly. Apart from that, Arabic is also used in worship rituals, such as prayers, prayer and reading the Koran, which is an integral part of the daily life of Muslims. Thus, the integration of Arabic in Islamic law is not only in the aspect of legal texts, but also includes daily religious practices.

This study explores the meaning, function, and social perception of hijab use in the lives of Indonesian Muslim women from the perspective of Islamic law, spirituality, and multicultural dimensions. The purpose of the research is to examine the normative basis of the obligation to wear the hijab in the Qur'an and Hadith, as well as to understand the subjective experiences of Muslim women of various ethnicities in Indonesia. This study uses a phenomenological qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques with 20 Muslim women from Javanese, Sundanese, Madura, Batak, and Minangkabau ethnic backgrounds, followed by surveys as well as literature and documentation studies. The results of the study show that the hijab is not only understood as a sharia obligation, but also a symbol of spiritual identity, a means of self-protection, and a medium of identity negotiation in a pluralistic society. Muslim women interviewed acknowledged the challenges of social stigma, discrimination, and negative stereotypes, but they also affirmed the hijab as a source of spiritual strength and a symbol of ethno-religious pride. The practical implications of this study recommend the development of multicultural education programs in schools, teacher training on religious sensitivity, and media guidelines to portray the diversity of hijab practices in an equitable and inclusive manner

Abstrak Penelitian ini memaparkan tentang pemikiran ekonomi Islam menurut seorang cendekiawan muslim bernama Abu Ubaid serta bagaimana relevansinya di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan metode studi pustaka yang menghimpun informasi yang relevan dengan topik atau masalah yang akan atau sedang diteliti. Penelitian ini mencoba mengungkap relevansi pemikiran ekonomi Abu Ubaid dalam tatanan perekonomian Indonesia yang dapat dilihat dalam karyanya yang monumental berjudul Kitab al-Amwal. Konsep keadilan menjadi prinsip dasar ekonomi yang digaungkannya menjadi sebuah landasan filosofis yang kuat dalam membangun fondasi pemikiran ekonomi. Konsep keadilan selalu tertuang dalam setiap pemikirannya, baik berkaitan dengan hak-hak individu, hak-hak publik maupun hak negara sebagai instrument pemegang kekuasaan tertinggi. Maka dengan semangat landasan filosofis yang di gaungkan Abu Ubaid tersebut, tentunya menjadi sebuah konsep tatanan kehidupan ekonomi bernegara. Salah satunya yang sudah diterapkan di Indonesia sebagai negara yang berdaulat melalui butiran ayat UUD 1945 sebagai sumber hukum tertinggi. Maka ketika kepentingan publik menjadi prioritas utama di atas segala kepentingan yang lain, tentunya akan melahirkan sebuah tatanan konsep keadilan yang menghasilkan keseimbangan atas hak-hak individu, publik dan negara, serta tentunya akan membawa kepada tatanan konsep perekonomian yang selaras disertai pencapaian kesejahteraan masyarakat.

he ethics of a politician are a necessity to pay attention to in perfecting religious humanism in the world of politics so that it can produce policies that support a prosperous and prosperous society. However, so far what we have encountered has only been limited to campaigning in the stage of gaining the most votes. The speakers related to political ethics, religious ethics, and the relationship between religion and politics have been discussed by figures such as Al Farabi, Ibnu Taymiyah, Miroljub Jevtic, Anthony Gill and others. Therefore, research like this should continue to be carried out so that the results will have a positive impact on politics and our society in the future. Research related to ethics was carried out using library research where the sources were taken from materials that focused on highlighting ethics, politics and religion with a data processing process that went through several stages starting with data coding and ending with drawing conclusions. The results of this research determine that the ethics that must be present in a politician to perfect his religious humanism are related to justice, honesty, responsibility, and broad knowledge which are crucial to the formation of a prosperous and prosperous society which can give birth to a civilization of high value.

Produk furnitur atau mebel merupakan salah satu sektor strategis yang memiliki kontribusi signifikan dalam mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional. Keunggulan sektor ini terletak pada tingginya daya saing dan nilai ekonomis produk di pasar internasional. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada analisis pengaruh Keterampilan Kewirausahaan, strategi bisnis, dan modal sosial dalam meningkatkan hasil usaha UMKM mebel di Kota Jember. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan kuesioner sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri Oleh sebab itu, pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang efisien menjadi faktor utama dalam mendukung tercapainya target perusahaan. Penelitian ini melibatkan 50 pelaku usaha UMKM mebel yang berlokasi di Kota Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode non-probability sampling dengan pendekatan teknik sampling jenuh, di mana seluruh anggota populasi diikutsertakan sebagai sampel. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder, sementara analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Partial Least Square (PLS). Temuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa: 1) Keterampilan kewirausahaansecara signifikan berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan kinerja usaha; 2) Strategi kewirausahaan memberikan pengaruh yang konstruktif terhadap kinerja usaha; dan 3) Modal sosial memberikan kontribusi positif dalam mendorong peningkatan hasil usaha. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Keterampilan Kewirausahaan, Strategi Bisnis, dan Modal Sosial memiliki peran signifikan dalam mendukung peningkatan Kinerja Usaha pada pelaku UMKM Mebel di Jalan Bondowoso, Kota Jember. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar para pelaku usaha aktif mengikuti program pelatihan, mengembangkan produk yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pasar terkini, serta berbagi informasi secara kolektif untuk menghadapi berbagai tantangan yang muncul.

This study analyzes the judge's decision on the Decision of the Panyabungan Religious Court Number 306/Pdt.G/2018/PA. PYB who gives custody of children (hadhanah) to the father after divorce. In general, such a ruling is considered a departure from the conventional practice where custody of minors usually falls to the mother. Using a normative legal research approach, this study aims to uncover the legal basis and judges' considerations (ratio decidendi) in making these decisions. Secondary data, consisting of court rulings as primary legal material and related legal literature as secondary legal material, were collected through documentation studies and analyzed descriptively-analytically. The results of the study showed that the judge's decision was based on the principle of child's best interest, which was evidenced by factual evidence at the trial regarding the eligibility of the father as a caregiver, regardless of the child's age. This study makes an important contribution in understanding the flexibility and progressiveness of legal interpretation by judges in order to prioritize the welfare of children in the context of divorce decisions.

This community service activity is motivated by the local potential of Darungan Hamlet in utilizing herbal plants as health drinks, but is still limited in the aspects of processing, packaging, and marketing. This condition results in low product added value and limited economic opportunities for the community, especially members of the Catleya 3 Dasawisma Group. Motivating the mothers of the Catleya 3 Dasawisma members to become productive individuals will be an opportunity to improve and enhance the quality of family life economically. One effort that can be done is by providing scientific provisions that they can apply by creating something that has economic value. One of these is by making a health drink by utilizing natural resources that can grow well and are abundantly available in Jember. The goal of this activity is to increase the knowledge, skills, and economic independence of the community through innovative herbal dip products and the use of digital technology in marketing. The methods used include socialization, pre-tests and post-tests, training in making herbal dip with three flavors, application of production and packaging technology, and training in creating e-commerce-based marketing accounts. The target of the activity was members of the Catleya 3 Dasawisma Group located in the RT 04/RW 08 area of Darungan Hamlet with a total of 20 participants. The increase in participants' understanding of the use of herbal medicines increased as seen from the average post-test score (80.53±15.80) which was higher than the pre-test score (59.47±13.93). Participants were able to produce herbal dip hygienically and of good quality, package products with attractive labels, and have knowledge related to product marketing through Shopee and Tokopedia. In addition, participants demonstrated independence in managing small businesses based on local potential with the support of production facilities and group communication. This activity succeeded in increasing community knowledge regarding the benefits of traditional medicinal ingredients and how to utilize them, entrepreneurial skills, and expanding participants' knowledge to create e-commerce accounts. Thus, the purpose of community service was achieved, namely the realization of increasing community skills in producing herbal dip sustainably.

AbstrakKeterbatasan akses terhadap layanan hukum dan rendahnya literasi hukum masih menjadi persoalan utama bagi masyarakat di wilayah pedesaan, termasuk di Kabupaten Mandailing Natal, Sumatera Utara. Kondisi ini berdampak pada rendahnya kemampuan masyarakat dalam memahami prosedur hukum perdata dan menyusun dokumen gugatan secara mandiri. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi hukum dan keterampilan praktis masyarakat serta mahasiswa hukum melalui pelatihan teknik penyusunan gugatan perdata. Mitra sasaran kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat Mandailing Natal dan mahasiswa hukum sebagai calon praktisi hukum, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 32 orang yang terdiri atas unsur masyarakat umum dan mahasiswa. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan lokakarya yang memadukan penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, dan latihan langsung penyusunan gugatan perdata. Materi pelatihan difokuskan pada struktur dan teknik penyusunan gugatan perdata, meliputi perumusan identitas para pihak, penyusunan dasar-dasar fakta, perumusan tuntutan hukum, serta pemahaman kompetensi relatif dan absolut pengadilan. Setelah memperoleh materi dan pendampingan langsung selama pelatihan, para peserta mampu secara mandiri menyusun gugatan perdata dengan sistematis dan sesuai dengan ketentuan hukum acara perdata. Selain itu, hasil evaluasi pasca-kegiatan menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan dan ketercapaian tujuan yang tinggi di kalangan peserta, yang mengindikasikan efektifitas pelatihan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta. Selain berkontribusi dalam peningkatan kemampuan praktis mahasiswa dan masyarakat, kegiatan pelatihan ini juga efektif sebagai model pendidikan hukum berbasis masyarakat yang mendukung pemberdayaan hukum dan peningkatan akses keadilan di tingkat lokal. Abstract Limited access to legal services and low levels of legal literacy remain major challenges for rural communities, including those in Mandailing Natal Regency, North Sumatra. This condition affects the community’s limited ability to understand civil procedural law and to independently prepare civil lawsuit documents. This community service activity aimed to enhance legal literacy and practical legal skills among community members and law students through training on civil lawsuit drafting techniques. The target partners of the program were residents of Mandailing Natal and law students as prospective legal practitioners, with a total of 32 participants consisting of members of the general public and students. The activity was implemented using a workshop-based approach that combined material presentations, interactive discussions, and hands-on practice in drafting civil lawsuits. The training materials focused on the structure and techniques of civil lawsuit preparation, including the formulation of party identities, the drafting of factual grounds, the formulation of legal claims, and an understanding of the court’s relative and absolute jurisdiction. After receiving the materials and direct mentoring during the training, participants were able to independently draft civil lawsuits in a systematic manner and in accordance with civil procedural law. Furthermore, post-activity evaluation results indicated high levels of participant satisfaction and goal attainment, demonstrating the effectiveness of the training in improving participants’ understanding and practical skills. In addition to enhancing the practical competencies of students and community members, this training activity proved effective as a community-based legal education model that supports legal empowerment and improved access to justice at the local level.
