Abstract

General elections are one form of political participation as a manifestation of the sovereignty of the people, where in general elections, the people are given the freedom to choose a candidate for leader who is worthy of occupying the position based on the mandate given. The people are still faced with money politics to influence the election process for someone, the level of awareness and participation of the people who think their votes are not important in the regional head elections which will take place on November 27, 2024. One way that can be taken to increase participation, understanding, and political awareness of a person is through political education, which aims to foster political awareness of the people who have the right to vote and are registered in their respective regions, a method of service by creating a problem-solving framework, strategic intermediate target groups, and steps for service activities. Service activities were carried out in Tanjung Jaya Village, Koto Kampar Kiri Hulu District, Kampar Regency. The results of the community service activities can be concluded that fathers and mothers and the younger generation who are over 17 years old or who are married know and understand the importance of participating in regional head elections with the process and procedures for holding elections, the rights and obligations of voters, money politics and political funds, money politics in Islam and becoming smart voters so that they are wiser based on their conscience without money politics.

Abstract

Inflasi merupakan gejala ekonomi yang memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap kestabilan politik, terutama di negara-negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. Peningkatan harga kebutuhan pokok sebagai pendorong utama inflasi tidak hanya berdampak pada melemahnya daya beli masyarakat, tetapi juga memicu keresahan sosial yang berpotensi mengancam legitimasi pemerintah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterkaitan antara inflasi terutama yang disebabkan oleh penyiaran harga barang kebutuhan pokok dengan kestabilan politik di Indonesia. Fokus kajian diarahkan pada bagaimana kebijakan politik ekonomi nasional menanggapi tekanan inflasi dari sudut pandang pelaku pasar serta dinamika sosial yang menyertainya. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode wawancara lapangan dan studi dokumen. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara langsung dengan pedagang bahan pokok di pasar tradisional yang terdampak langsung oleh memutar harga, sedangkan data sekunder dikumpulkan melalui telaah publikasi ilmiah, laporan resmi pemerintah, serta berbagai dokumen relevan lainnya dalam periode 2018 hingga 2024. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa inflasi menyebabkan penurunan daya beli masyarakat, terganggunya stabilitas usaha mikro, serta peningkatan ketegangan sosial yang dapat mempengaruhi stabilitas politik. Kebijakan seperti Operasi Pasar Murah dan Gerakan Pangan Murah dipandang oleh para pedagang tidak hanya sebagai bentuk intervensi ekonomi, tetapi juga sebagai strategi politik untuk meredakan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan mempertahankan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap pemerintah. Kesimpulannya, pengendalian inflasi perlu dijadikan prioritas dalam strategi politik ekonomi nasional, tidak hanya untuk menjaga kestabilan perekonomian, tetapi juga untuk memastikan keberlangsungan stabilitas politik dan kesejahteraan sosial di tingkat akar rumput. Abstract

Various TV channels established with various talk shows stand out among other shows for presenting bitter facts in a very light-hearted way by commenting, satirizing, analyzing and criticizing in a very funny style. "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" is a very popular comedy talk show in the United States because of its high language, witty praise, and especially the characters of "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" criticizing various aspects of society. The aims of this study are to categorize various types of satire and reveal Trevor Noah's technique in expressing satire. This study uses a qualitative descriptive design with a sample of six episodes of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah downloaded from the official comedy center website. The data concentrated on the Satire utterances of the host of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah were analyzed using interactive analysis. The results of the analysis showed that three types of satire appeared in the event: 21 Horatian satires, 13 juvenile satires, and 16 Menippean satires. The satire that is used in the daily show has conveyed a message of criticism of someone's ideas and behavior based on what they have said and done based on events that actually happened. Sacrificial conclusions have become the most powerful and effective way of getting a message across, even today, no matter what means a satirist chooses to create their work.

Abstract

Toddler age is considered part of the golden age, a crucial period for achieving optimal intellectual growth and development. During this stage, the rate of physical growth begins to slow, while motor development progresses significantly. Parental knowledge regarding developmental stimulation can influence the effectiveness of such stimulation. The purpose of this study was to describe mothers’ knowledge of motor development stimulation in toddler-aged children within the working area of Puskesmas Kota Utara. This research employed a quantitative method with a descriptive research design. The study population consisted of mothers with toddler-aged children. A total of 115 respondents were selected using a total sampling technique. The results showed that 73 respondents (63.5%) had a low level of knowledge, while 42 respondents (36.5%) demonstrated a good level of knowledge regarding motor development stimulation. It can be concluded that most mothers had limited knowledge, indicating the need for health professionals at the Public Health Center to provide health promotion interventions through educational activities aimed at improving maternal understanding of motor development stimulation.
