Abstract

Alqomar PAUD Many social and emotional skills of children aged 4 to 5 years are still underdeveloped, so teachers attempt to develop children's social and emotional skills through role-playing methods. The aim of this research is to determine the application of the role-playing method to improve the social and emotional skills of children aged 4-5 years at PAUD Alqomar. This research is field research using qualitative methods. The main data sources are teachers and students. Alkmaar Early Childhood Education Research Site. Currently, inductive methods are used for data analysis. Based on the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that the application of the role-playing method to improve the social and emotional skills of children aged 4-5 years has been achieved well at PAUD Alqomar. The use of role play techniques at PAUD Alqomar has been proven to improve the social and emotional skills of children aged 4 to 5 years. This can be seen from the child's skills before the role-playing method was introduced, but after the role-playing method was introduced, the child's social and emotional skills began to develop. Abstract

Kasus bullying di sekolah dasar menunjukkan tren peningkatan dan menjadi ancaman serius terhadap perkembangan psikologis peserta didik. SD NU Kota Metro telah menjalankan program parenting selama lima tahun, namun masih belum spesifik diarahkan untuk pencegahan perundungan. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan memperkuat program parenting melalui pendekatan spiritual dengan melibatkan orang tua, guru, dan pihak sekolah secara kolaboratif. Metode Community Based Research (CBR) digunakan untuk memetakan masalah, mendesain intervensi, melaksanakan pendampingan, dan melakukan evaluasi. Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan orang tua tentang pola asuh, meningkatnya kesadaran guru terhadap gejala bullying, terbentuknya komunikasi yang lebih konstruktif antara orang tua dan sekolah, serta tersusunnya rencana tindak lanjut untuk menjadikan parenting sebagai program berkelanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, pendekatan spiritual dalam program parenting terbukti efektif sebagai strategi preventif dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang ramah anak dan bebas kekerasan.

Abstract

Parenting plays a crucial role in shaping children’s moral development, yet Indonesian parents today face growing challenges, particularly with the increasing dependency of children on gadgets. Many parents rely on smartphones to manage their children’s behavior, which often results in reduced supervision and weakened moral guidance. Research by Layyinatus Syifa et al. indicates that elementary school children who use gadgets for more than two hours a day frequently display irritability, defiance, imitation of inappropriate digital behaviors, and declining discipline. These issues underscore the need for a value-based parenting framework that can effectively address contemporary challenges. In this context, prophetic parenting, rooted in the exemplary nurturing principles of the Prophet Muhammad, offers a model that emphasizes compassion, moral instruction, and character formation. This study examines the relevance of prophetic parenting to the moral development of Indonesian children through a literature review approach. This article conducts an in-depth analysis of the theory of prophetic parenting in shaping a child's morals, drawing from a variety of literature, including books and journals. The research uses a literature study approach with a descriptive-qualitative method. Data was collected from various sources, including published journals, relevant publications, and textual materials. The sources used included books, articles, journals, conference proceedings, and other literature relevant to the research topic. The literature review process in this article follows four steps: (1) preparing relevant literature; (2) compiling a suitable bibliography; (3) managing time and concentrating to minimize bias; and (4) reading carefully, taking notes, and summarizing findings. The researcher then analyzed various findings, including both research results and theories, to narrow down the data and conduct an in-depth analysis consistent with the research objectives. The findings of this study have meaningful implications for both future research and practical parenting. For researchers, the results serve as a valuable reference for further studies on parenting approaches and moral development. For parents, this study offers essential insights by highlighting that prophetic parenting constitutes a fundamental foundation for nurturing and strengthening children's moral development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan belajar matematika pada materi bangun datar yang dialami oleh siswa kelas 4 MI Ma’arif NU 5 Sekampung. Materi bangun datar merupakan salah satu topik penting dalam pembelajaran matematika yang membutuhkan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan visualisasi ruang. Namun, banyak siswa yang menghadapi kendala dalam memahami dan mengerjakan soal terkait materi ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, melibatkan 30 siswa sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis dan wawancara mendalam untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis kesulitan yang dialami siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan utama siswa meliputi pemahaman konsep sifat-sifat bangun datar, kesulitan dalam menggambar bangun datar dengan tepat, serta kesalahan dalam menghitung keliling dan luas. Faktor penyebab kesulitan tersebut antara lain kurangnya media pembelajaran yang menarik, metode pengajaran yang kurang variatif, dan rendahnya minat belajar siswa. Berdasarkan temuan ini, disarankan agar guru menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan media visual yang dapat membantu siswa memahami materi bangun datar secara lebih efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Learning Media Booklet with the theme of Diversity of Professions and Their Roles, and to examine students' learning interest when using the booklet media. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) Model developed by Brog & Gall, simplified into 7 stages, including (1) pre-survey, (2) initial planning, (3) development of initial product, (4) initial product expert testing, (5) revision of initial product, (6) main field trial, and (7) evaluation of final product. The instructional media trial was conducted at Ma'arif Bulusari Islamic Elementary School, Bumi Ratu Nuban Subdistrict, Central Lampung Regency, Lampung Province. The average ratings given by content experts, media experts, and language experts are 3.77, 3.66, and 3.85, respectively, which are categorized as very good, appropriate, and highly appropriate, in that order. The results of the student's learning interest test indicate a significant difference between using the instructional media booklet and not using the booklet, with an increase of 86.43% when using the instructional media booklet. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Diversity of Professions and Their Roles Learning Booklet meets the criteria for usability and can be tested in the third-grade class of Ma'arif Bulusari Islamic Elementary School.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV MINU Metro Utara menjadi permasalahan utama yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Dari 28 siswa, hanya 10 siswa (35,7%) yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal 75 dengan nilai rata-rata 62,5. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada materi Pengukuran Panjang melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Course Review Horay. Penelitian menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 28 siswa kelas IV D MINU Metro Utara. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar, observasi terstruktur dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 62,5 (pra-siklus) menjadi 74,3 (Siklus I) dan 82,7 (Siklus II). Persentase ketuntasan belajar meningkat dari 35,7% menjadi 64,3% pada Siklus I dan 89,3% pada Siklus II, melampaui indikator keberhasilan minimal 80%. Partisipasi aktif siswa meningkat dari 58% menjadi 72% (Siklus I) dan 88% (Siklus II). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model Course Review Horay yang diterapkan dengan pembentukan kelompok heterogen, pembagian peran, scaffolding intensif, dan variasi soal kontekstual terbukti efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa SD/MI

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of understanding among second-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Banarjoyo regarding time measurement material due to the use of conventional teaching methods and the lack of engaging and concrete learning media. This study aimed to develop a manipulative clock media based on fun learning and to determine its feasibility and effectiveness in improving students’ mathematical understanding. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were second-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Banarjoyo. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, validation questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the developed media obtained a validation score of 3.80 from media experts and 3.72 from material experts, both categorized as highly valid. In addition, the media was declared effective based on the improvement in students’ learning outcomes, where the average pretest score of 65.20 increased to 84.01 in the posttest, with a learning mastery level reaching 80%. These results indicate that the manipulative clock media based on fun learning can help students understand time measurement concepts in a more concrete, interactive, and enjoyable way. Therefore, the developed media is feasible to be used as an innovative alternative in mathematics learning at the elementary school level. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman siswa kelas II SD Negeri 1 Banarjoyo terhadap materi pengukuran waktu akibat penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang masih konvensional serta kurangnya media pembelajaran yang menarik dan konkret. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media jam manipulatif berbasis fun learning serta mengetahui kelayakan dan efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman matematika siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas II SD Negeri 1 Banarjoyo. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket validasi, dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan memperoleh skor validasi ahli media sebesar 3,80 dan validasi ahli materi sebesar 3,72 dengan kategori sangat valid. Selain itu, media dinyatakan efektif berdasarkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, yaitu nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 65,20 meningkat menjadi 84,01 pada posttest dengan tingkat ketuntasan belajar mencapai 80%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media jam manipulatif berbasis fun learning mampu membantu siswa memahami konsep pengukuran waktu secara lebih konkret, interaktif, dan menyenangkan. Dengan demikian, media yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca merupakan keterampilan dasar yang penting dalam menunjang keberhasilan belajar siswa, namun masih terdapat siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca lancar dan memahami isi bacaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi metode Interactive Reading Aloud dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas II di SD IT Bumi Sholawat Wates, Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis fenomenologis untuk memahami proses pembelajaran dan pengalaman subjek penelitian. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi metode Interactive Reading Aloud dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan utama, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap perencanaan, guru menyusun tujuan pembelajaran, memilih bahan bacaan yang sesuai dengan kemampuan siswa, serta merancang langkah-langkah pembelajaran interaktif. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, pembelajaran berlangsung melalui kegiatan pendahuluan berupa apersepsi dan motivasi, kegiatan inti berupa membaca nyaring oleh guru yang diikuti siswa, tanya jawab, diskusi, serta pendampingan individu, dan kegiatan penutup berupa refleksi serta penyimpulan bersama. Pada tahap evaluasi, guru melakukan penilaian secara lisan dan tertulis untuk mengukur kelancaran membaca, ketepatan pengucapan, serta pemahaman isi bacaan siswa. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan membaca siswa, terutama pada kelancaran, pemahaman, dan kepercayaan diri, meskipun belum merata pada seluruh siswa.

Abstract

The low level of students’ mathematical critical thinking skills remains a problem in elementary school mathematics learning because the learning process tends to be teacher-centered and does not actively involve students. This study aims to determine the implementation of the mind mapping learning method and its contribution to the mathematical critical thinking skills of class V B students at MI Ma’arif 18 Trimurjo. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with research subjects consisting of 21 class V B students and a mathematics teacher selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the mind mapping method helped students understand the relationships between geometric concepts in a more structured manner, increased student activeness, and assisted students in concluding learning materials more systematically. Students’ mathematical critical thinking skills developed through the ability to identify, connect, analyze, and conclude mathematical concepts. Therefore, the mind mapping method can be used as an alternative learning strategy to help develop students’ mathematical critical thinking skills. ABSTRAK Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa masih menjadi permasalahan dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar karena proses pembelajaran cenderung berpusat pada guru dan kurang melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan metode pembelajaran mind mapping serta kontribusinya terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa kelas V B MI Ma’arif 18 Trimurjo. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian yang terdiri dari 21 siswa kelas V B dan guru matematika yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode mind mapping membantu siswa memahami hubungan antar konsep bangun ruang secara lebih terstruktur, meningkatkan keaktifan siswa, serta membantu siswa menyimpulkan materi secara lebih sistematis. Kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa berkembang melalui kemampuan mengidentifikasi, menghubungkan, menganalisis, dan menyimpulkan konsep matematika. Dengan demikian, metode mind mapping dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran untuk membantu mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa.

Abstract

The Learning media is used to bridge teachers in delivering material in class. Apart from using media effectively and efficiently, learning media can increase students' interest in learning. The aim of this research is to determine the development of scrapbook media in increasing interest in learning for class IV MINU Tri Bhakti At-Taqwa students. The type of research used by researchers is Research and Development (R&D). By using the ADDIE theory which consists of the stages Analysis (analysis), Design (design), Development (development), Implementation (implementation), Evaluation (evaluation). Judging from the level of feasibility of scrapbook media in this research, it is based on validation carried out by material experts, media experts and student responses. The material expert validation results obtained 91.8% in the "very valid" category. Furthermore, the media expert validation questionnaire obtained 96.8% in the "very valid" category. Based on student responses, they obtained 91.6% in the "very appropriate" category. From the research results, scrapbook media can foster students' interest in learning as seen from students' feelings of joy, interest, attention and activeness in asking questions in the learning process.
