Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan efikasi diri dan dukungan orang tua dalam menjelaskan burnout akademik pada siswa SMA selama pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini melibatkan 227 siswa SMA N 1 Lingga yang menjalani pembelajaran daring. Data dikumpulkan secara online dengan menggunakan tiga skala pengukuran yaitu Maslach Burnout Inventory-Students Scale (MBI-SS), General Self Efficacy (GSE) dan Social Support Questionnaire for Children (SSQC). Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis regresi ganda. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa efikasi belajar secara daring dan dukungan orang tua mampu memprediksi burnout akademik pada siswa SMA N 1 Lingga selama pembelajaran daring (F= 27.523, p < 0.001).

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana peran academic self-efficacy sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan resiliensi akademik pada 262 siswa SMK yang mengikuti pembelajaran secara daring. Skala yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Skala Dukungan Sosial (Child and Adolescent Social Support Scale - CASSS) oleh Malecki dan Demaray (2002), Skala Efikasi Diri Akademik yang dikembangkan oleh Gafoor (2007) dan Skala Ketahanan Akademik (ARS-30) yang dikembangkan oleh Cassidy (2016). Dalam penelitian ini, skala tersebut kemudian dimodifikasi sesuai dengan kebutuhan penelitian ini. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) dengan bantuan Program SPSS 23. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pengujian menggunakan PROCESS v3.5 oleh Hayes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai Confidence Interval/CI dari hasil bootstrap, BootLLCI = 0,237 dan BootULCI = 0,383. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa jika rentang BootLLCI dan BootULCI tidak termasuk nilai nol (0), maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa estimasi tersebut signifikan dan terdapat efek mediasi. Ukuran efek dapat dilihat dari koefisien pengaruh tidak langsung standar dari dukungan sosial terhadap resiliensi akademik yaitu sebesar 0,308. Dengan demikian, efikasi diri akademik memediasi hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan resiliensi akademik pada siswa SMK yang mengikuti pembelajaran secara daring. Dukungan sosial secara langsung dapat meningkatkan ketahanan akademik siswa. Kata kunci: Dukungan Sosial, Efikasi Diri Akademik, Ketahanan Akademik, Pembelajaran Online. AbstractThis study aims to observe to what extent the roles of academic self-efficacy as a mediator in the relation of social support and academic resilience towards 262 students of vocational high school joining the online learning. The scale used in this study was Social Support Scale (Child and Adolescent Social Support Scale - CASSS) by Malecki and Demaray (2002), Academic Self-Efficacy Scale developed by Gafoor (2007) and The Academic Resilience Scale (ARS-30) developed by Cassidy (2016). In this study, these scales were then modified in accordance with the needs of this study. Data analysis were performed using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) by means of SPSS 23 Program. It was then continued with the test using PROCESS v3.5 by Andrew F. Hayes. The results of this study showed that the values of Confidence Interval / CI from the results of bootstrap was written as BootLLCI = 0,2366 and BootULCI = 0,3833. This showed that if the ranges of BootLLCI and BootULCI did not include the value of zero (0), it can be concluded that the estimation was significant and there was a mediation effect. Effect size can be seen from the coefficient of standardized indirect effect from social support to academic resilience i.e. 0,3082. Thus, the academic self-efficacy mediated the relation between the social support and academic resilience to the students of vocational high school joining the online learning. Abstract

Students’ motivation to learn has many important influences on university students. Motivation can increase learning involvement, learning autonomy, social presence and enrolment, critical thinking skills, writing skills, problem-solving skills, and learning achievement. This study aims to determine the effect of social support on student learning motivation through the mediator of religiosity. The research subjects were 202 students (male and female) at an Islamic university. The measuring instruments used are the Islamic Religiosity Scale from Nashori, the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support from Zimet, Dahlem, Zimet, and Farley, and the Learning Motivation Scale from Utami, Nashori, and Rachmawati. The data were analyzed using stepwise regression. The results showed that social support and religiosity influenced learning motivation. So, social support influenced learning motivation with religiosity as a full mediator.

Abstract

Abstract. There are various obstacles occurring during the online learning process, one of which is in mathematics. To cope with these obstacles, self-regulated online learning (SROL) skills and good social support are deemed necessary. This study aimed to determine a relationship between social support and students' SROL in mathematics as seen from the social support sources in MIPA class students in SMA N “X” Kendal. The measuring instrument used in this study was the SROL scale from Arbiyah and Triatmoko (2016) with 24 items and the SSQC Gordon scale (2011) with 50 items. Total participants of this study are 220 MIPA class students in SMA N “X” Kendal from X to XII grade. Data analysis in this study used regression analysis. The results of data analysis showed the value of F = 8.416 with p value = < 0.001. These results indicated that social support could simultaneously predict the SROL of students in SMAN "X" Kendal in mathematics during the COVID-19 pandemic with an effective contribution of social support by 16.4% to SROL. Abstrak. Salah satu mata pelajaran yang paling menantang untuk dipelajari selama pembelajaran daring adalah matematika. Untuk mengatasi hambatan itu dibutuhkan kemampuan self-regulated online learning (SROL) dan dukungan sosial yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan dukungan sosial dengan SROL siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika dilihat dari sumber-sumber dukungan sosialnya di kelas MIPA SMA N “X” Kendal. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur berupa skala SROL dari Arbiyah dan Triatmoko (2016) yang berjumlah 24 aitem dan skala SSQC Gordon (2011) yang berjumlah 50 aitem. Partisipan penelitian ini berjumlah 220 siswa kelas X sampai XII MIPA SMA N “X” Kendal. Hasil analisis regresi data diperoleh nilai F= 8,416 dengan nilai p= < 0,001. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial secara bersama-sama dapat memprediksi SROL siswa SMA N “X” Kendal pada mata pelajaran matematika di masa pandemi COVID-19 dengan sumbangan efektif dukungan sosial sebesar 16,4% terhadap SROL.

Abstract

Several psychological issues are associated with excessive use of social media, including anxiety, Social Media Fatigue, and Fear of Missing Out (FOMO). Therefore, this research aimed to examine the mediating role of FOMO between anxiety and Social Media Fatigue. The quantitative analysis involved 224 early adulthood individuals as participants, using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Media Fatigue, and FOMO Scales as instruments. The path analysis result showed that FOMO acted as a mediator between anxiety and Social Media Fatigue. The mediation was partial since anxiety directly influenced Social Media Fatigue with FOMO acting as a mediator. Future research should also be conducted to explore other stronger mediating variables between anxiety and Social Media Fatigue.

Abstract

Working mothers with young children bear dual responsibilities, managing professional duties while attentively caring for their children, often leading to parenting stress. This study aims to examine the influence of Big Five personality traits on parenting stress among working mothers with young children. This research fills a gap in the literature regarding how personality aspects affect parenting stress. The study participants included working mothers with children aged 0-6 years, who are married, and residing in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The methodology utilized the Parenting Stress Scale (PSS) and The Big Five Personality Inventory (BFI), with data analysis conducted through multiple regression techniques. The results indicate that agreeableness and extraversion negatively affect parenting stress, while openness, conscientiousness, and neuroticism do not have a significant impact. These findings underscore the importance of understanding personality traits in managing parenting stress among working mothers. The implications of this study can be used to develop more effective interventions to support the mental health of working mothers.Keywords: Parenting stress, openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, neuroticism.

Abstract

 This study aimed to observe the correlation between academic stress and subjective well-being, with coping behavior as a moderator in students during the COVID-19 pandemic. This involved 212 students in the UII. This study used the Perceived Stress Scale (18 items, a = 0.757), stress coping scale (44 items, a = 0.880), and college student subjective well-being questionnaire (16 items, a = 0.893). This study showed a significant negative correlation between academic stress and subjective well-being (β = -0.562; p < 0.05). Furthermore, the moderator regression analysis (MRA) results showed that the R² value of the interaction between academic stress and coping behavior as the moderator in the third regression model was higher than that of the other models (0.213). However, the increase was not statistically significant. The results showed that coping behavior did not have a moderating effect on the relationship between academic stress and subjective well-being.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran perilaku coping sebagai noderator hubungan antara stres akademik dan kesejahteraan subjektif pada mahasiswa selama pandemi COVID-19. Sebanyak 212 orang mahasiswa Universitas Islam Indonesia telah terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Perceived stress scale (18 item, a = 0.757), skala coping stress (44 aitem, a = 0.880), dan college student subjective well-being questionnaire (16 item, a = 0.893) merupakan alat ukur dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menemukan hubungan antara stres akademik dan kesejahteraan subjektif yang negatif dan signifikan (β = -0.562; p < 0.05). Selanjutnya, hasil moderator regression analysis (MRA) menunjukan bahwa nilai R² pada model regresi ke-3 (i.e., model interaksi antara stress akademik dan perilaku koping) meningkat sebesar 0,213 meskipun peningkatan ini tidak signifikan. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa perilaku coping tidak mampu menjadi moderator dalam hubungan antara stres akademik dan kesejahteraan subjektif

Abstract

Preparing human resources who are religious and able to balance the pace of science with faith in the modern era is a fundamental problem in today's advanced era. Of course, the important role of education cannot be ignored in this process, because education is the main forum for development. This education can be obtained from studying more deeply and reflecting on the thoughts of classical Islamic figures. Ibn Khaldun is a figure in Islamic thought who is known as a philosopher, sociologist and historian. This writing uses a literature study method which aims to examine Ibn Khaldun's views on Islamic education which were influenced by many problems and realities of his time. The results obtained from this research are that Ibnu Khaldun's thoughts are very real and practical, without losing sight of the aim of developing students' potential. This is useful for providing opportunities for students to develop the potential that God has given them.

Abstract

Introduction: CKD (Chonic Kidney Disease) is a gradual failure of kidney function that causes the accumulation of metabolic waste substances (uremic toxins), resulting in decreased kidney function and gradual loss of kidney function over time. Objectives: To determine the relationship between adherence, degree of hypertension and nutritional status with vitamin d deficiency in hemodialysis patients. Method: The population of this study were all patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy in room 1 and room 2 of the Avio Prima Ciledug Hemodialysis Clinic, collecting 30 people. Sampling technique in this research is using total sampling technique. The number of samples in this study were 30 respondents. The research instrument used an observation sheet. This research uses chi square analysis. Result: The results of the study on the value of adherence to vitamin D intake obtained p-value = 0.003. Blood Pressure obtained p-value = 0.045. Nutritional status obtained p-value = 0.047. Conclusion: there is a relationship between the factors of age, type. There is a relationship between adherence to vitamin D intake, pressure, nutritional status and vitamin D deficiency in chronic disease patients undergoing hemodialysis.
