Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi pengembangan sistem pertanian berkelanjutan di Desa Muna untuk mendukung ketahanan pangan, dengan fokus pada perspektif Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK). Ketahanan pangan merupakan isu penting yang meliputi aspek teknis, ekonomis, etis, dan teologis terkait pengelolaan alam ciptaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun praktik pertanian di Desa Muna dihadapkan pada tantangan seperti degradasi lahan, inisiatif lokal seperti diversifikasi tanaman dan penggunaan pupuk organik mulai berkembang. Dalam konteks PAK, praktik-praktik ini dapat dimaknai sebagai implementasi mandat budaya (Kejadian 1:28) dan panggilan untuk menjadi penatalayan yang baik. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai PAK dalam program penyuluhan dan pemberdayaan petani dapat meningkatkan motivasi serta etos kerja, sehingga mempercepat terwujudnya ketahanan pangan yang berkelanjutan di Desa Muna.

Abstract

Digital transformation of religious outreach is an inevitability of the times. In reality, some religious instructors are not yet ready due to various obstacles. By analyzing the theory of innovation diffusion, this article aims to lay a conceptual foundation and provide an academic call for religious instructors to transform their duties and functions. The method used is literature research. The results show that innovation diffusion theory is highly relevant. Digital religious outreach has relative advantages, compatibility, complexity, trialability, and observability. This new style of outreach also has unique communication channels. From a time and social system perspective, this theory serves as a warning for religious instructors and related stakeholders to act anticipatively and provide solutions, especially in dealing with the challenges still faced by society in the Society 5.0 era. Ultimately, this study encourages religious instructors to improve their competency in both digital literacy and academic studies relevant to their duties and functions.

Abstract

Persekutuan Doa Efata Jemaat GMIT Oesapa Barat Kota Kupang memiliki permasalahan yang dihadapi yakni: pertama, belum adanya Pendidikan Agama Kristen Yang Humanis. Kedua, pembentukan perilaku anak dalam ibadah.  Kondisi perilaku anak-anak di kalangan persekutuan doa tidak tertib dalam ibadah Persekutuan doa. Kondisi seperti ini mendatangkan sorotan dari oknum-oknum tertentu menyangkut perilaku anak-anak dalam persekutuan doa tersebut. Metode yang dipakai adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Penting untuk diingat bahwa setiap anak adalah individu yang unik, dan pendekatan pendidikan agama Kristen yang humanis harus memerhatikan kebutuhan, minat, dan perkembangan anak secara holistik. Pengurus membuat grup WhatsApp agar pengajar membagikan video-video yang berkaitan dengan Pendidikan Humanis lewat grup tersebut. Pengajar mengarahkan anak-anak dengan lemah lembut, bukan dengan kekerasan.

Abstract

Achievement Motivation as the Responsibility of Teachers and Parents Towards Students in the 4.0 Era and Its Relevance in Christian Religious Education. The background of writing this article is to understand the motivation of students' learning achievement in the 4.0 era. The purpose of this study is to improve students' learning achievement, one of the determining factors of success is learning motivation. Motivation plays an important role in encouraging students to study diligently, tenaciously and with full concentration so that learning achievement can be optimal. The research method used in this study is qualitative research through literature study. The results are that learning motivation consists of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation which is influenced by various factors such as ideals, abilities, physical and psychological conditions of students, and the surrounding environment. Teachers and parents have an important role in providing achievement motivation through proper guidance, support, and supervision. In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the challenges of learning motivation are increasingly complex because it facilitates access to technology that can distract students. Therefore, the role of Christian religious education is very important in shaping the character and spiritual values ​​of students so that they are able to face technological challenges wisely, maintain face-to-face relationships, and foster strong learning motivation.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan mengkaji pelaksanaan sosialisasi moderasi beragama dari perspektif Kementerian Agama di Gereja Masehi Injili di Timor (GMIT) Soar Penkase. Moderasi beragama merupakan strategi penting dalam membangun kerukunan dan toleransi antarumat beragama di Indonesia yang memiliki keragaman agama dan budaya. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif digunakan dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi moderasi beragama oleh Kementerian Agama di GMIT Soar Penkase telah berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman jemaat tentang pentingnya sikap moderat dalam beragama. Program ini meliputi serangkaian kegiatan seperti seminar, dialog antariman, dan penyebaran materi edukasi yang menekankan empat indikator moderasi beragama: komitmen kebangsaan, toleransi, anti-kekerasan, dan akomodasi terhadap budaya lokal. Tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi kesalahpahaman konsep moderasi beragama, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan kondisi geografis yang sulit dijangkau. Implikasi dari Pngabdian kepada Masyarakat ini menunjukkan perlunya penguatan kolaborasi antara Kementerian Agama dengan pemuka agama lokal serta pemanfaatan teknologi informasi untuk memperluas jangkauan sosialisasi moderasi beragama, terutama di daerah-daerah terpencil. Moderasi beragama terbukti menjadi landasan penting dalam membangun harmoni sosial dan mencegah ekstremisme dalam konteks masyarakat multikultural di Nusa Tenggara Timur.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers in fostering the mentality of students from broken homes. Broken home problems have a significant impact on the mental and psychological conditions of students, which require special attention from PAK teachers as professionals who have spiritual and educational responsibilities. The research method used is a literature study by analyzing various relevant literature. The results of the study indicate that PAK teachers have a multidimensional role in fostering the mentality of broken home students, including the role as interpreters of the Christian faith, shepherds, role models and leaders, evangelists, facilitators, mentors, and motivators. The conclusion of this study confirms that PAK teachers have a strategic and holistic role in helping broken home students overcome problemstheir mental health through a comprehensive spiritual and educational approach.

Abstract

Christian Religious Education plays an important role in shaping children’s character, particularly among children aged 7–12 years, which is a developmental stage for moral and spiritual values. The church, as a religious institution, is responsible for instilling Christian values through Sunday school and spiritual guidance. However, technological developments, social environmental influences, and limited family support pose challenges to the process of children’s character formation. This study aimed to analyse the role of Christian Religious Education in building the character of children aged 7–12 years at Alfa Omega Church, Uluklubuk, Kupang. This study employed a qualitative approach using field research. Data were obtained through observations, interviews, and documentation involving Sunday school teachers, church administrators, parents, and children aged 7–12 years. The data were analysed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while their validity was examined using source and technique triangulation. The results showed that Christian Religious Education played a role in building children’s character through Bible story-based learning, communal prayer, praise, educational games, and the exemplary conduct of Sunday school teachers. The character values instilled included discipline, responsibility, honesty, love, cooperation, and respect for parents and teachers. Successful character formation was supported by teacher involvement, church support, and parental participation, whereas inhibiting factors included the influence of social media, limited learning facilities, and differences in family backgrounds. This study confirms that Christian Religious Education contributes to the formation of children’s moral and spiritual character. The implications of this study indicate the need to strengthen cooperation among the church, family, and community to continuously optimize children’s character education.

Abstract

The implementation of the Independent Curriculum demands digital transformation at all levels of education, including elementary schools in rural regions. This study aims to analyze the utilization of digital technology in Christian Religious Education (CRE) learning by teachers at UPTD SDN Air Panas, Pantar Tengah District, Alor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. This study applied a qualitative method with a descriptive case study approach. Data collection was carried out through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with CRE teachers, and learning documentation. The results showed that teachers at SDN Air Panas utilized digital technology through audio-visual media of Bible stories on YouTube, mobile-based digital Bible applications (YouVersion), and semi-digital collaborative assignments. This utilization proved capable of increasing students' concentration, retention, and active engagement in reflecting on Christian faith values. However, the effectiveness of this integration is still hindered by geographical challenges in the form of unstable internet network constraints and the uneven distribution of school gadget infrastructure. This study recommends the need to strengthen offline-digital strategies and continuous theological-practical assistance for optimizing the quality of CRE in outermost, underdeveloped, and frontier areas.
