Abstract

Indonesia menempati peringkat kedua sebagai negara yang menggemari mie instant dengan 14,260 juta porsi, yang mengakibatkan menurunnya devisa negara karena bahan baku yang berupa tepung impor dan juga meningkatnya penderita penyakit metabolisme. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan membuat mie gluten-free yang lebih menguntungkan dari bahan baku indigenous Indonesia : tepung sagu, tepung porang, dan tepung garut, menggunakan metode ekstrusi yang bekerja dengan memberikan tekanan dan dorongan sehingga akan menghasilkan bentuk yang diinginkan, serta dikemas dalam kemasan ramah lingkungan, yang sesuai Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI). Dalam penelitian ini dibuat lima formula mie kering (F1-F5) dengan sustitusi tepung sagu, tepung porang dan tepung Garut dengan mie yang dihasilkan berwarna putih sampai kecoklatan, rasa khas telur dengan tekstur yang kenyal. Dari hasil tersebut kemudian dilakukan uji evaluasi berupa cooking time, elongasi, susut pengeringan dan uji kesukaan panelis dengan pengolahan data hasil pengujian dengan analisis statistik SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil uji, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode ekstrusi (teknologi ekstruder) dapat digunakan untuk membuat mie gluten-free yang dikemas dengan kemasan biodegradable dengan formula F4 merupakan formula terbaik.

Abstract

Mesin pendingin merupakan salah satu alat bantu yang ada di kapal sebagai penunjang kegiatan operasional di kapal. Mesin pendingin berfungsi untuk mengawetkan bahan makanan yang disimpan di atas kapal dalam waktu yang cukup lama. Penelitian ini dilakukan di atas kapal MV. Strait Mas dengan kinerja mesin pendingin yang kurang optimal, terutama pada naiknya suhu di bagian ruang bahan makanan basah (meat and fish room). Temperatur pada ruang bahan makanan basah tidak mencapai suhu yang telah ditentukan, sehingga kondisi bahan makanan menjadi tidak segar dan tidak layak konsumsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keoptimalan performa mesin pendingin di kapal MV. Strait Mas, dampak terkait naiknya suhu ruang bahan makanan basah di kapal MV. Strait Mas, dan upaya perbaikan pada ruang bahan makanan basah di kapal MV. Strait Mas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk memahami fenomena yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian secara holistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang menyebabkan naiknya temperatur pada ruang pendingin makanan adalah terjadinya kebocoran pada tube condensor, condensor yang sudah kotor, sering terbukanya pintu ruang pendingin, dan kurangnya tekanan freon pada sistem. Maka dari itu, perlu dilakukan sejumlah upaya perbaikan pada ruang pendingin makanan seperti menambahkan freon, membersihkan cooler condensor, dan melakukan probe pada salah satu tube yang bocor. The cooling machine is one of the tools on the ship to support operational activities. The function of the cooling machine is to preserve foodstuffs stored on board for quite a long time. This research was conducted on board the MV. Strait Mas significantly has less than optimal cooling machine performance when the temperature rises in the wet food room (meat and fish room). The temperature in the wet food room does not reach the specified temperature, so the food becomes unfresh and unfit for consumption. This research aims to determine the optimal cooling engine performance on MV Strait Mas Ship impacts related to increasing room temperature for wet food on MV Strait Mas Ship and efforts to repair the damp food space on the MV Strait Mas Ship. This research uses qualitative methods to understand phenomena experienced by research subjects holistically. The research results show that the factors that cause the temperature to rise in the food cooling room are leaks in the condenser tubes, dirty condensers, frequent opening of the cooling room door, and lack of freon pressure in the system. Therefore, it is necessary to make several improvements to the food cooling room, such as adding freon, cleaning the cooler condenser, and carrying out a probe on one of the leaking tubes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the number of principals and teachers based on age groups in four provinces in Indonesia, namely Bengkulu, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Papua Pegunungan, and South Papua. The data used includes the age distribution of educators, which plays an important role in understanding the dynamics of the teaching staff and education policies at the local level. By looking at the distribution of principals and teachers in certain age ranges, this study provides an overview of the demographic conditions of educators that can influence recruitment, training, and professional development strategies in each province. The findings show significant variations in age distribution between provinces, reflecting specific needs in improving the competence and regeneration of educators in each region. This abstraction leads to policy implications in the education sector, especially in ensuring the regeneration and quality of educators to support improving the quality of education.

Abstract

The Boarding School partner has many students but the habit of washing their hands before eating is not accompanied by washing with soap. This is a concern because washing with soap ensures the disappearance of pathogenic microbes. Teaching the importance of washing hands with soap before meals aims to raise awareness about the benefits of maintaining hygiene and supplementary nutrition could improve health. We trained the pupils in the Boarding School to make liquid hand-washing soap and yoghurt to stimulate a hygienic lifestyle, provide in-house supplementary nutrition, and gain economic benefit from the products. The hygienic lifestyle knowledge was delivered through a presentation in an open-class setting, while soap and yoghurt production skills were taught by an in-hand workshop, followed by post-monitoring for both activities. The yoghurt was produced by fermentation, and the soap was made by formulating a macerate of fennel leaf extracted into hand-washing soap. The pupils’ knowledge of hygienic lifestyles improved with an average score of 68 to 90.

Abstract

The existence of financial technology (Fintech) in Peer to Peer Lending (P2P Lending) services with the PayLater scheme is the public's choice for payment transactions in the Shopee application (in collaboration with PT. CF). ShopeePayLater (SPayLater) is a trend today because of its simplicity of activation and use, especially for young people, who tend to choose it over bank credit. However, the lack of selectivity in carrying out Customer Due Diligence on prospective debtor customers can lead to an increase in credit arrears or bad credit which results in default. This relates to the principle of prudence in PT CF's credit policy as a provider of SPayLater. Researchers are interested in researching and making the focus of this research by raising the issue of how is the application of Customer Due Diligence on ShopeePayLater as an alternative payment method? The conclusion of this research is that there is no strict supervision and mechanism for prospective debtor customers, so that Customer Due Diligence does not run according to applicable regulations.

Abstract

Rescheduling is a legal strategy offered by financial institutions like banks to aid debtors struggling with debt by adjusting certain terms of their credit agreements, such as payment schedules and loan amounts. However, when banks auction off collateral without adhering to their rescheduling policies, as discussed in high court case No.486/PDT/2021/PT SMG concerning property rights disputes involving guarantees for debt settlement, significant legal consequences arise for debtors of Bank Rakyat Indonesia. This study employs normative legal research using secondary data and employs descriptive qualitative analysis. It concludes that unilateral auctioning of secured assets by the bank, without considering debtor interests via rescheduling, can lead to debtor losses, particularly in terms of forfeiting ownership of guaranteed assets.

Abstract

Ketergantungan sektor maritim pada bahan bakar fosil telah berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan emisi karbon, pencemaran lingkungan laut, dan tingginya biaya operasional kapal. Tantangan ini menuntut inovasi energi alternatif yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan prototipe kapal wisata bertenaga surya sebagai sumber energi utama penggerak. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, perakitan, pengujian, dan evaluasi kinerja. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa kapal berbobot 1,3 ton dapat beroperasi dengan kecepatan rata-rata 3,5–4 knot menggunakan enam panel surya berkapasitas 100 WP dan empat baterai 200 Ah, dengan waktu pengisian penuh sekitar 12 jam pada kondisi penyinaran optimal. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kapal bertenaga surya berpotensi menjadi alternatif transportasi laut yang efisien, ramah lingkungan, serta mendukung penerapan energi terbarukan di sektor maritim.   The maritime sector's reliance on fossil fuels has significantly contributed to increased carbon emissions, marine environmental pollution, and high vessel operational costs. These challenges necessitate the development of environmentally friendly and sustainable alternative energy solutions. This study aims to design and implement a solar-powered tourist boat prototype as the primary propulsion energy source. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, encompassing needs analysis, design, assembly, testing, and performance evaluation stages. The test results indicate that a 1.3-ton vessel can operate at an average speed of 3.5–4 knots using six 100 WP solar panels and four 200 Ah batteries, with a full charging time of approximately 12 hours under optimal sunlight conditions. These findings suggest that solar-powered boats have the potential to serve as an efficient and environmentally friendly alternative for maritime transportation while promoting the adoption of renewable energy in the maritime sector.

Abstract

Baros is one of the sub-districts in Cimahi, where stunting is relatively high. Data from the Puskesmas Kelurahan Baros Mekar shows that 43 children are indicated to be stunted. The results of interviews with cadres showed that the community needs more knowledge and insight regarding stunting. Apart from that, there needs to be more public awareness regarding the importance of maintaining a balance of nutrients and vitamins in food. Community service was carried out in September 2023 by lecturers and students at Bhakti Kencana University. The target of the activity is families with 30 children aged 0–5 years. Activities include providing education about stunting prevention by lecturers and the nutrition section of the Puskesmas Cigugur Tengah, demonstrations of a nutritional menu balanced with my plate's contents, and how to breastfeed and wash hands correctly. After that, a stunting screening is carried out. Participants were given pre-test and post-test questionnaires regarding stunting knowledge and filled in data on the child's weight. The presentation of knowledge about parenting patterns at the pre-test was 77.02%, the post-test was 84.02%, the pre-test hygiene knowledge was 99.52%, and the post-test was 100%, while the pre-test sanitation knowledge was 80.37%, and post-test was 87.77%. The nutritional status of toddlers based on BB/U showed that BB was less than 3.3%, very low BB was 6.7%, normal was 76.7%, and the risk of being overweight was 13.3%. It is hoped that increasing knowledge about stunting can be implemented to support optimal child growth and development.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan munculnya pesaing baru perbankan konvensional yang menjalankan fungsi penyalurkan kredit secara digital oleh perusahaan financial technology (fintech), menuntut perbankan konvensional melakukan terobosan dalam penyaluran kredit ke masyarakat berbasis aplikasi produk digital lending, sehingga masyarakat lebih mudah mengakses produk-produk keuangan, mempermudah transaksi dan juga meningkatkan literasi keuangan.
