Abstract

ABSTRAKKeselamatan pasien merupakan variabel untuk mengukur dan mengevaluasi kualitas pelayanan keperawatan. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah mencegah infeksi rumah sakit dengan menjaga kebersihan tangan dengan teknik enam langkah dan lima momen di rawat inap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pelaksanaan kebersihan tangan oleh petugas kesehatan di Ruang Rawat Inap Penyakit Dalam Pria Rumah Sakit Dustira Cimahi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif eksploratif dengan metode observasional. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 288 kali pengamatan kegiatan oleh petugas kesehatan (dokter, perawat dan mahasiswa praktek) yang terbagi pada shift pagi dan shift sore dengan 84 pengamatan, dan shift malam berjumlah 120 kali pengamatan. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi dengan menggunakan work sampling. Hasil menggambarkan bahwa : 1) sebelum kontak dengan pasien sebagian besar hand hygiene tidak dilakukan oleh mahasiswa yaitu sebesar 89,8 % pada shift malam, 2) sebelum tindakan terhadap pasien sebagian besar hand hygiene tidak dilakukan oleh mahasiswa sebanyak 89,8% pada shift malam, 3) sesudah kontak dengan pasien sebagian besar kegiatan hand hygiene dilakukan tidak sempurna oleh dokter sebanyak 75% pada shift sore, 4) sesudah kontak dengan cairan tubuh pasien sebagian besar hand hygiene dilakukan tidak sempurna oleh mahasiswa sebanyak 82,4% pada shift pagi, dan 5) sesudah kontak dengan lingkungan pasien sebagian besar hand hygiene dilakukan tidak sempurna oleh dokter sebanyak 75% pada shift sore. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, ketidak patuhan pelaksanaan kegiatan kebersihan tangan disebabkan karena media yang digunakan kurang memadai seperti campuran air pada sabun yang terlalu banyak, tisu yang jarang tersedia, antiseptik berbasis alkohol murni sehingga menimbulkan bau yang menyengat dan terasa panas ditangan serta lengket. Disarankan bagi pihak rumah sakit untuk memperhatikan kembali sarana dan prasarana untuk menunjang kebersihan tangan dan bagi petugas kesehatan disarankan untuk membaca kembali standar operasional prosedur (SOP) dari setiap tindakan yang akan dilakukan, karena setiap tindakan yang dilakukan ada SOP untuk mencuci tangan. ABSTRACTPatient safety is a variable for measuring and evaluating the quality of nursing services. One of the effort that should be done is to prevent hospital infections with hand hygiene using six-step hand hygiene technique and five moments at the hospitalization rooms. This study aims to describe the implementation of hand hygiene practice by healthcare provider in patient safety activities atmale medical ward on Dustira Cimahi Hospital. The study was a descriptive exploratory with the observational method. The research sample numbering 288 times observation activities from health workers (doctors, nurses, and students college) that divided on the morning shift totaling 84 observation activities, totaling 84 observations afternoon shift and night shift activities amounted to 120 times the observation activities. The instrument of this study using observation tool which contains a table check list on the implementation of hand hygiene by using work sampling.The overall results describe that: 1) not doing hand hygiene activities before making contact with the patient, were 89,8% for college students at the night shift, 2) before taking action at the patient most of the hand hygiene activities were not done 89,8% for college students in night shift, 3) after making contact with the patient, most of the hand hygiene activities were not perfect carried out, 75% for doctors in the afternoon shift, 4) after making contact with patients body fluids most of the hand hygiene activities were not done 82,4% for the college students in the morning shift, and 5) after making contact with the patient's environment most of the hand hygiene activities were not perfect carried out, 75% for doctors in the afternoon shift. Based on the observation, disobedience on implementation of hand hygiene due to insufficient media used liketoo much water in the mixture of water and soap, tissue is rarely available, pure alcohol-based hand rub is causing bad smell, hot at the skin and sticky hands. It is advised for the hospital to pay attention at infrastructure that support hand hygiene, and for health workers is advised to re-read the standard operating procedures (SOP) on any action to be performed, for every action there is SOP towash the hand.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKesenjangan antara kualitas pelayanan perawat ideal dengan perawat aktual merupakan masalah serius di rumah sakit. Hal ini disebabkan karena tuntutan pasien tinggi, atau disebabkan lemahnya kemampuan perawat, pengetahuan dan keterampilan perawat dalam melayani pasien. Oleh karena itu, rumah sakit sudah mengembangkan jenjang karir sesuai dengan keahliannya, serta menyediakan kesempatan yang lebih baik sesuai dengan kemampuan dan potensi perawat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghubungkan antara jenjang karir perawat dengan kepuasan pasien terhadap kualitas pelayanan keperawatan. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan desain analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Instrumen menggunakan kuesioner Patient Satisfaction With Nursing Care Quality Questionnaire. Populasi menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 68 pasien. Analisa data bivariate dengan menggunakan uji Kendall Tau-C. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenjang karir terbanyak adalah PK I (36.8%), PK II (29.4), dan PK III (33.8), sedangkan untuk kepuasan pasien sebagian besar baik (72.1%). Pemerataan jenjang karir perawat di ruang rawat inap belum merata. Hal ini mengakibatkan ketidak sesuaian kewenangan klinik yang dilaksanakan oleh PK I, PK II dan PK III. Disisi lain dari pasien justru mengungkapkan bahwa mereka tidak mempermasalahkan perawat junior atau senior yang penting perawat tersebut terampil, ramah dan memberikan informasi yang tepat kepada pasien dan keluarga. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah tidak ada hubungan antara jenjang karir dengan kepuasan pasien terhadap kualitas pelayanan perawat dengan nilai p value 0.276. Disarankan untuk pihak Manajemen Rumah Sakit, terutama Kepala Bidang Keperawatan dan jajaran agar memperhatikan pemerataan perawat berdasarkan jenjang karir. Hal ini tentu harus dipertimbangkan dari beberapa sisi, antara lain adalah karakteristik ruangan, tingkat ketergantungan pasien di ruangan, dan jumlah perawat yang ada.  ABSTRACT The service quality gap between ideal nurses and actual nurses is a serious problem in hospitals. This is due to the high demands of patients, or due to the weakness of nurses' abilities, knowledge, and skills of nurses in serving patients. Therefore, hospitals have developed career paths according to their expertise, and provide better opportunities according to the abilities and potential of nurses. This study aims to correlation the career paths of nurses with patient satisfaction with nursing care quality. This research is quantitative research with analytical correlation design and a cross-sectional approach. The research instrument uses the Patient Satisfaction With Nursing Care Quality Questionnaire. The population used a proportionate stratified random sampling with a sample size of 68 patients. Bivariate data analysis using the Kendall Tau-C test. The results of the study showed that the distribution of nurses' career paths in the inpatient room was not evenly distributed. This resulted in incompatibility of clinical authorities carried out by PK I, PK II and PK III. On the other hand, the patient revealed that they did not question the important junior or senior nurses as long as the nurses were skilled, friendly and provided appropriate information to patients and families. The conclusion of this study is that there is no relationship between career paths and patient satisfaction with nurse service quality with a p-value of 0.276. It is recommended for Hospital Management, especially the Head of Nursing and ranks to pay attention  the equal distribution of nurses based on career paths. This certainly must be considered from several sides, including the characteristics of the room, the level of dependence of patients in the room, and the number of nurses available.

Abstract

The use of contraceptives in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic has decreased by 35% to 47%. This resulted in the pregnancy rate increasing by 67 pregnancies from the previous year. In West Java, the pregnancy rate jumps by 10%. One of the efforts to suppress the spike in baby births is through the Keluarga Berencana (KB) program for couples with childbearing age. The aim of this community service is to provide knowledge about contraceptive tools and methods in suppressing baby booms. This community service method is in the form of interactive education based on information technology and offline interactive education. The target is 30 women of childbearing age couples aged between 15-45 who used contraception and did not make repeat visits during the Covid-19 pandemic. The implementation technique is divided into three stages, namely the first stage is to assess the level of understanding respondent with a pre-test use to google form, the second stage is to carry out counseling, family planning counseling program and introduction to the KB Klik application with offline and the third stage is to evaluate the material with a post test use to google form. The results of the activity showed an increase in knowledge of both contraceptive tools and methods by 53.4%. With the increasing knowledge of mothers about family planning tools and methods, it is hoped that it can influence the attitudes of mothers in choosing and using the right contraceptives so that it is expected to limit the number of child births and reduce the impact of baby booms.

Abstract

The current health program in Indonesia is focused on improving the health status of vulnerable groups, one of which is pregnant women. This is indicated by the high rate of maternal and infant mortality. One of the government's efforts to overcome this problem is the concept of safe motherhood and antenatal care. During the Covid-19 pandemic, most pregnant women did not get medical check-up because they were worried about the corona virus. Therefore, online classes for pregnant women were conducted. This community service method is in the form of interactive education based on information technology online and offline. The targets are all pregnant women who carry out examinations at the Midwife Independent Practice of Yanyan Mulyani, while the targets for pregnancy exercise and prenatal yoga are 35 pregnant women with a gestational age of 28-39 weeks. The implementation technique is divided into three stages, namely the first stage is to assess the level of understanding of the respondent with a pre test, the second stage, namely the implementation of classes for pregnant women by providing online material and the implementation of offline pregnancy and prenatal yoga exercises, and the third stage, namely evaluating the material with post tests . The results of the activity showed an increase in knowledge to be good by 68.6%. Providing information to the class of pregnant women by the facilitator on a regular basis and carried out every week with different materials makes pregnant women make pregnancy visits and regularly attend classes for pregnant women to stay healthy.

Abstract

Program vaksinasi Covid-19 merupakan salah satu upaya pemerintah untuk mengendalikan penyebaran virus Covid-19 yang menjadi pandemic di Indonesia. Program vaksinasi ini masih menimbulkan keraguan dari masyarakat umum terkait dengan efikasi dan keamanannya sehingga dibutuhkan pemberian edukasi yang baik agar masyarakat memahami peran penting dari program vaksinasi. Salah satu yang sasaran yang dapat diberikan penyuluhan adalah remaja yang memiliki mobilitas dan pergerakan yang tinggi. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan kepada siswa SMK Bhakti Kencana Tasikmalaya berupa pemberian edukasi melalui talkshow. Jumlah peserta yang mengikuti berjumlah 179 orang. Pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui online dengan platform zoom meeting. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan pemberian edukasi berupa talkshow yang dilakukan secara online via aplikasi zoom. Peserta yang hadir berjumlah 179 orang. Pelaksanaan dimulai dengan pemberian pre test kepada siswa melalui platform google form. Kemudian menayangkan video dari tenaga kesehatan, dari masyarakat yang sudah dilakukan vaksin dan yang belum dilakukan vaksin. Setelah itu, dilakukan talkshow dan diskusi. Di akhir kegiatan, siswa diberikan post test untuk mengevaluasi pemahaman tentang vaksinasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pengetahuan sebelum dilakukan pemberian edukasi adalah 48.636 dan rata-rata setelah nya adalah 52.262. Hal ini menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan terhadap vaksinasi sebesar 3,626.

Abstract

Pengumuman boleh digelarnya Pertemuan Tatap Muka di sekolah telah diiringi dengan penyelenggaran PTM Terbatas oleh beberapa sekolah di wilayah tertentu. Namun, rendahnya kepatuhan penerapan protokol kesehatan menyebabkan adanya temuan kasus terkonfirmasi positif selama PTM berlangsung, sehingga PTM dihentikan di beberapa sekolah. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan anak terhadap penerapan protokol kesehatan saat PTM Terbatas pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Kegiatan dilakukan secara offline di SDN 216 Sondariah (22 siswa) dan SDN 086 Cimincrang (32 siswa) melalui 3 tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi, edukasi, dan simulasi. Materi edukasi meliputi aktivitas-aktivitas sebelum berangkat ke sekolah hingga setelah pulang ke rumah sesuai dengan protokol kesehatan yang dianjurkan. Pre-test dan post-test menggunakan kuesioner dan tanya jawab dalam Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dilakukan sebagai bentuk evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil pre-test, hasil tertinggi yaitu 80% terdapat pada pertanyaan tentang persiapan sebelum ke sekolah, aktivitas selama perjalanan ke sekolah, saat masuk ke gerbang sekolah, saat sedang dan setelah pembelajaran, sedangkan hasil terendah yaitu 30% terdapat pada pertanyaan aktivitas setelah pulang ke rumah dan cuci tangan. Hasil post-test, terdapat peningkatan menjadi 100% pada semua pertanyaan mengenai protokol kesehatan dari sebelum berangkat ke sekolah hingga setelah pulang ke rumah. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ini efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang protokol kesehatan.

Abstract

Health services during the covid-19 pandemic are required to provide comprehensive care to clients while maintaining strict health protocols. This condition presents challenges for health workers, especially nurses and midwives in implementing theoretical concepts that are integrated into patient care. The purpose of this community service is to refresh the existing theory so that the quality of service to patients is achieved. The activity method is done hybrid (online and offline). The provision of Nursing and Midwifery theory material is done online through zoom. Participants present were nurses and midwives with the category as Clinical Instructor (CI). The implementation technique is done in four stages, namely: the first stage examines the level of knowledge of nurses and midwives with pre test through google form, the second stage is done sharing and refreshing materials, the third stage is broadcasting video simulation of theory implementation into client care and provide post test, and the fourth stage is making a visit to the hospital to see the application of theory in caring for patients. The results of the activity showed an increase in understanding of the theory of… Result of this devotion to the community programs is a video simulation certified IPR, monograph book with ISBN and IPR, online mass media publications (tribun jabar) and journal publications.

Abstract

Failure to perform good hand hygiene is considered as an major cause of Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs). From the WHO data, compliance rate of nurses hand hygiene activity at the United States is about 50%, Australia 65% while in Indonesia 47%. This study aims to determine healthcare workers knowledge, attitude, and availability of facilities toward that affect hand hygiene compliance. This research method is analytical descriptive with cross-sectional approach. The object of data collection is an healthcare workers (nurse, doctor, and pharmacy) at General Hospitalin West Java as many as 51 samples. Sample selection using stratified sampling method with research instrument in the form of questionnaire and observation sheet about knowledge and attitude to hand hygiene adopted from WHO. The results of this study that obtained in the group of nurse were 48.6% doing imperfect hand hygiene and group of doctor respectively 80.0% and pharmacy were 100.0%. In terms of nurses knowledge about hand hygiene is 59.5%, doctor80.0% and pharmacy 50.0%. In terms of attitudes about the implementation of hand hygiene, the nurses group is 48.6%, doctors respectively 40% and pharmacy 50.00% have a positive attitude. In terms of facilities is 40.5% nurses stated available, doctors 20% and pharmacy 0.00%. There was a significant relationship between hand hygiene with knowledge (p = 0,019), attitude (0.004) and hand hygiene facility (p = 0.040). Keywords: attitude, hand hygiene, health care, knowledge

Abstract

Background: New paradigm in health profession education caused exchange of medical education curriculum from conventional to Competency Based Curriculum (CBC). One teaching methode of competence-based curriculum implementation is Problem Based Learning (PBL). PBL was impemented in Bachelor of Nursing Programme STIKes Dharma Husada Bandung since 2010. This research aim was to analyse students opinion about the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) for Bachelor phase of Nursing Programme in STIKes Dharma Husada Bandung.Method: This research was cross sectional study using questionnaires to students of level 2 and 3 Bachelor of Nursing. Total 114 students out of a population of 160 students (with stratified random sampling) involved in this study. Results: This study showed that most students (85.1%) gave positive opinion on PBL if socialized in the beginning of learning process. Scenario has stimulated the students as much as 71.1%, and the role of moderator and secretary duties as much as 77.2%, while skills lab instructors imprecise 50% weighting in accordance with the duties of assessment, there are 41.2% who disagree and knowledge becomes widely agreed as much as 77.2% of studentsConclusion: Most of the students gave positive opinion on PBL socialization in the beginning of the learning process. About 50% students felt skills lab instructor usually hard to be on-time and the literatures provided were not sufficient.

Abstract

Background: The paradigm shift of learning method centered on the students has been applied to several universities, one of them by using Problem Based Learning (PBL) method. The importance of good time management will produce readiness to face the PBL process because in the PBL process using self directed learning where a student is required to be able to manage the time independently. The purpose of this study is to know the time management of nursing students by using Time Management Questionnaire (TMQ) in implementing Problem Based Learning (PBL) method in STIKes Dharma Husada Bandung.Method : The type of research is quantitative with the model of analytic design and cross sectional approach. The sample of research is student of class of 2014 and 2015 of Nursing Study Program of 169 students. The research instrument with Time Management Questionnare (TMQ) developed by Briton & Tesser (1991) has been tested its validity and reliability with Alpha Cronbach 0,800 by Allay & Kocak (2002). The questionnaire consists of short-term planning, attitude toward time and long-term planning.Result : Most respondents have good time management that is 53.3%. For short-term planning most have good time management of 58.6% with the highest mean of 4.25 on "Put the  priority first" points, the attitude towards time mostly has good time management of 61.5% with the highest mean of 4.10 at the point of "responsible for time for yourself", and long-term planning mostly has a good time management of 50.9% with the highest mean of 3.64 on points "if having a job, preferring installments in the task".Conclusion: There needs to be a re-review of the implementation of PBL method, especially on the weighting of self or group tasks so that students can make long-term planning that can review the learning process.
