Abstract

Unsur P (Fosfat) merupakan salah satu unsur hara yang penting bagi tanaman agar tanaman tumbuh dengan sehat, unsur P yang diserap oleh tumbuhan tidak maksimal karena fosfor yang diserap tanaman berada dalam bentuk terikat didalam tanah dan dibutuhkan mikroorganisme pelarut fosfat. Pada penelitian ini mikroorganisme yang digunakan pada khususnya jamur pelarut fosfat yaitu Mikoriza. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan mikoriza, pengaruh pupuk P dan pengaruh interaksi antara mikoriza dan pupuk P terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif Mucuna bracteata. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Areal Pembibitan Institut Teknologi Sawit Indonesia . Waktu penelitian dilakukan selama 3 bulan, dari bulan Agustus sampai bulan November 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Ancaka Kelompok  Faktorial dengan jumlah 9 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan sehingga total 27 bibit. Pengujian parameter disusun pada daftar sidik ragam dan dilakukan uji analisis statistik yang menguji perbedaan rata-rata dengan Analysis of Variance,  kemudian dilakukan uji lanjut menggunakan Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan interaksi antara mikoriza dan pupuk P memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah bintil akar dan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the participation in mathematics learning of Grade VII-H students at SMP Negeri 2 Taman in the 2023/2024 school year by implementing process-differentiated learning based on visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which consists of two cycles, which include planning, action, observation, and reflection. The students in Grades VII-H were divided into homogeneous groups based on their learning styles, but heterogeneous based on their initial abilities, with each group consisting of 3 students. The results of the first cycle showed an increase in students’ participation in mathematics from the previous learning, with the participation score percentage reaching 70.19%, and increased by 12.59% to 82.78% in the second cycle. This increase is included in the high criteria, which are to be very high, with students becoming more actively engaged in learning, especially in group discussions and presentations. This research showed that the implementation of differentiated learning based on learning styles is effective in increasing the participation in mathematics learning of Grade VII-H students at SMP Negeri 2 Taman in the 2023/2024 school year.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Kelompok Wanita Tani in increasing household income. The research was conducted at Rejosari Women Farmers Group, Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta Special Region. The research used a quantitative analysis method. Sampling with a census sampling model of 31 respondents. In this study we use primary data and secondary data. The method of data analysis in this study is to use simple linear regression analysis with the test of the coefficient of determination (R2) and hypothesis testing using the statistical t-test, to determine the effect of the independent variable KWT role (X) on the dependent variable of increasing household income (Y). There are various indicators of the role of farm women's groups, namely, learning classes, cooperation vehicles, and production units. The results of this study indicate that the overall variable role of KWT (X) is still relatively low towards increasing household income (Y) with a coefficient value of 0.237 and the results of the statistical t test on the learning class indicator show a sig value of 0.031, the indicator of the vehicle of cooperation of 0.365 and the production unit shows a sig value of 0.698. That way, the role of farm women's groups in the learning class indicator has a role in increasing household income. The cooperation vehicle indicator has not played a role in increasing household income, and the production unit indicator has also not played a role in increasing household income.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh suhu dan kelembaban terhadap efisiensi fotosintesis serta hubungannya dengan produksi Tandan Buah Segar (TBS) pada tanaman kelapa sawit. Kajian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan mengumpulkan data sekunder yang bersumber dari berbagai jurnal nasional dan internasional yang relevan dengan topik mikroklimat dan fisiologi tanaman. Data dianalisis melalui pendekatan analisis isi untuk mengidentifikasi pola hubungan antara variabel mikroklimat dan respon fisiologis tanaman. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa suhu tinggi menurunkan aktivitas enzim fotosintesis, mempercepat kehilangan air daun, serta memicu penutupan stomata yang berdampak pada penurunan fiksasi karbon. Sementara itu, kelembaban rendah meningkatkan defisit tekanan uap udara sehingga menekan konduktansi stomata dan menghambat proses fotosintesis. Interaksi kedua faktor tersebut menyebabkan gangguan pada keseimbangan source–sink tanaman dan berdampak langsung pada penurunan produksi TBS. Sebaliknya, kondisi suhu moderat dan kelembaban yang memadai mendukung efisiensi fotosintesis secara optimal dan meningkatkan produktivitas. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pengelolaan mikroklimat, khususnya suhu dan kelembaban, merupakan faktor penting dalam menjaga performa fisiologis dan hasil tanaman kelapa sawit serta relevan dalam menghadapi tantangan perubahan iklim. Kata kunci: mikroklimat, fisiologi tanaman, konduktansi stomata, defisit tekanan uap, produktivitas tanaman.

Abstract

Oil palm is a strategic commodity that serves as the main livelihood for rural communities; however, smallholder oil palm farmers continue to face low income levels, particularly during the immature phase of oil palm cultivation, which lasts for 3–4 years. This condition highlights the need for adaptive farming strategies that can generate short-term income without disrupting the main crop. This community service program aimed to empower smallholder oil palm farmers through the implementation of an entrepreneurship-based intercropping system using edamame to increase farmers’ income and strengthen sustainable rural economic development. A participatory approach was employed, actively involving farmers in all stages of the program, including situation analysis, training and extension activities, implementation of edamame intercropping demonstration plots, and evaluation through focus group discussions. The program was implemented on approximately 1,000 m² of smallholder oil palm land using edamame as an intercrop. The results indicate that edamame intercropping effectively optimizes the use of inter-row spaces in oil palm plantations, provides additional short-term income due to its short harvesting period, and enhances farmers’ knowledge and skills in crop management, business management, and digital-based marketing.

Abstract

Palm oil frond sap (NPS), rich in fermentable sugars and essential minerals, is a renewable substrate for the production of biocompatible biomaterials. This study aims to review the utilization of  of OPFJ as a culture medium for BC biosynthesis, its functionalization with silver nanoparticles (AgNPs), and the potential of the resulting composite’ for wound dressing applications. The method used was a literature review by collecting the latest and most recent journals, recording and analyzing the results of the utilization of OPFJ with AgNPs. The results showed   that OPFJ-based BC exhibits nanofibrillar morphology, high crystallinity, and good mechanical stability. The incorporation of AgNPs enhances antimicrobial activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, providing a dual-functional dressing material. Nonetheless, limitations persist in silver release control, cytotoxicity management, and large-scale production. Future studies should focus on pretreatment optimization of OPFJ, green synthesis of AgNPs, and in vivo evaluations to ensure clinical viability.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of light intensity and fertilization on the height and stem diameter growth of oil palm seedlings (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) at 16 weeks of age. The study was conducted under controlled conditions with varying light intensities and types of fertilizer applied to the seedlings. The results showed that an increase in light intensity significantly increased seedling height, with optimal growth recorded at an intensity of 2000 lux, reaching 19.15 cm. In addition, fertilization also had a positive effect on stem diameter, where 15 g of fertilizer produced a maximum diameter of 0.50 cm. Statistical analysis using the BNT test showed significant differences between treatments at a 5% rate. These findings indicate that a combination of good lighting and proper fertilization is very important to support oil palm seedling growth, providing guidance for better cultivation practices in the field.

Abstract

Leaf Area Index (LAI) is a key biophysical indicator that reflects canopy structure and its capacity to intercept solar radiation, thereby influencing photosynthetic performance. This study aims to examine the relationship between Leaf Area Index and photosynthetic effectiveness in plants. A quantitative observational approach was employed by measuring leaf area, plant density, and photosynthetic rate using standard plant physiological methods. The results indicate that an increase in LAI generally enhances photosynthetic effectiveness due to improved light interception and greater chlorophyll availability. However, excessively high LAI leads to self-shading within the canopy, reducing light penetration to lower leaves and ultimately decreasing photosynthetic efficiency. These findings demonstrate that the relationship between LAI and photosynthetic effectiveness is non-linear and characterized by an optimal LAI range that maximizes photosynthetic performance. Understanding this relationship is crucial for optimizing crop management strategies, improving canopy architecture, and increasing plant productivity in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of leader emotional intelligence (LEI) on employee performance (EP) in Indonesian public sector organizations, with individual agility (IA) and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) tested as mediators. Using survey data from 467 civil servants across local government agencies (Organisasi Perangkat Daerah; OPD), the proposed structural model was analyzed with PLS-SEM. The results indicate that LEI has significant positive effects on EP, IA, and OCB. OCB significantly mediates the relationship between LEI and EP, whereas IA does not exhibit a significant mediating effect. These findings underscore the importance of strengthening emotionally intelligent leadership and cultivating environments that encourage OCB to enhance employee performance and public service outcomes. The study contributes by integrating LEI, IA, and OCB within a single empirical model in a public sector setting and by showing that OCB, rather than IA, is the more salient behavioral pathway linking leadership to performance. The findings also provide support for Social Exchange Theory by highlighting how relational quality and extra-role behaviors shape performance within bureaucratic contexts.

Abstract

Fraksi olein sawit memiliki potensi besar sebagai bahan dasar dalam formulasi emulsi losion karena kandungan asam lemak tak jenuh yang tinggi dan sifat emolien yang sangat baik. Berbagai penelitian telah menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan olein sawit, baik dalam bentuk murni maupun terfraksinasi, dapat menghasilkan sediaan losion yang stabil secara fisik dan efektif sebagai pelembap kulit. Tinjauan terhadap dua puluh penelitian terbaru mengungkapkan bahwa faktor-faktor utama yang mempengaruhi stabilitas emulsi meliputi rasio minyak terhadap udara, jenis surfaktan, metode homogenisasi, dan penambahan bahan aktif alami seperti ekstrak tumbuhan atau antioksidan. Variasi metode fraksinasi olein juga mempengaruhi viskositas, ukuran globul, dan ketahanan terhadap sertifikat fasa. Formulasi berbasis olein sawit menunjukkan tekstur yang lembut, daya serap yang baik, dan penerimaan sensoris yang lebih baik di kalangan pengguna. Selain itu, kombinasi surfaktan seperti Tween 80 dan setil alkohol berperan penting dalam menjaga stabilitas reologi emulsi. Tinjauan ini menegaskan bahwa fraksi olein sawit memiliki potensi yang kuat untuk berfungsi sebagai alternatif alami, ramah lingkungan, dan layak secara ekonomi untuk pengembangan produk losion modern .
