Abstract

The fifth-grade elementary school students' daily test results for questions about how objects' shapes change fall short of the required minimum level of completion. Therefore, it is necessary to identify what makes these results so bad.Therefore, a diagnostic test instrument needs to be developed in an effort to detect the causes of low test scores below the minimum completeness criteria obtained by students in material about changes in the shape of objects. The development carried out was by developing a three-tier multiple-choice diagnostic test instrument. This three-tier multiple-choice instrument is very important to develop because it can detect students' understanding of concepts or misunderstandings that occur. This instrument consists of three tiers, including the first tier, which is related to answering questions. The second tier relates to the reasons for choosing answers at the first and third tier regarding the confidence index selected based on the answers and reasons on the first and second tiers. In this regard, the purpose of this study was to produce a three-level multiple-choice diagnostic test product that can be used to identify students' misconceptions about changes in the shape of objects in fifth grade elementary school students. The development method used is design-based research. The results of this development trial were able to identify student misconceptions, with an average percentage of students scientific knowledge in the shape of objects of 12.4%, lack of knowledge  of 3.3%, misconceptions of 41%,  misconceptions (false positive) of  25.4%, misconceptions (false negative ) of 16%, and lucky guess of 1.9%. In addition, in relation to student responses in the development of this test tool, an average of 80.7% is in the good category. Therefore, it is clear that students can read diagnostic tests well.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian adalah memberikan wawasan serta meningkatkan profesionalisme guru di Kota Tasikmalaya dalam mendesain Local Instructional Theory (LIT) pada pembelajaran inovatif di SD. Adapun model pembelajaran inovatif yang ditawarkan adalah model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL). Secara keseluruhan, berdasarkan data angket sebanyak 100% guru belum mengenal konsep LIT namun setelah pelatihan selesai dilaksanakan guru menjadi tahu dan berminat untuk menyusun desain Local Instruction Theory.  Kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan Local Instruction Theory pada pembelajaran masih sangat rendah. Ada beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan hal tersebut terjadi.  Pertama, guru belum mengetahui konsep LIT dan model-model pembelajaran inovatif pada kurikulum merdeka. Kedua, masih kurangnya pelatihan pembuatan/penyusunan/pendesain LIT pada kurikulum merdeka. Adapun solusi masalah mitra antara lain membuat pelatihan kepada guru SD untuk mendesain LIT pada pembelajaran. Kegiatan pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 20 orang guru SD di salah satu SD yang berada di Kota Tasikmalaya. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan, para peserta memberikan respon positif dan merasa perlu untuk melaksanakan pelatihan berikutnya.

Abstract

Bentuk dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa adalah kuliah kerja nyata (KKN). Dalam usaha untuk mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa maka salah satu kegiatan yang perlu dilakukan oleh mahasiswa KKN adalah kegiatan dalam bidang pendidikan. Untuk itu dilakukan kegiatan penyuluhan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan serta kesadaran masyarakat terhadap stunting di Kelurahan Cigantang. Kegiatan penyuluhan yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa KKN Tematik UPI Kampus Daerah Tasikmalaya dengan tema “Si Penting (Mahasiswa Peduli Stunting)”. Kegiatan ini dapat terlaksana dengan baik dan dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap stunting di Kelurahan Cigantang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan asesmen portofolio dalam penilaian hasil belajar di kelas V MI Cidoyang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian guru kelas V. Instrumen dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan teridiri dari observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data model Milles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan guru kelas V MI Cidoyang sudah menggunakan asesmen portofolio dalam penilaian pembelajaran. hal itu didapat dari hasil wawancara dan observasi dokumen gru sudah melaksanakan tahapan asesmen portofolio dalam penilaian pembelajaran denan cukup baik namun masih belum optimal. Masih terdapat langkah yang belum dilaksanakan oleh guru dalam melaksanakan asesmen portofolio ayitu guru belum melakukan kegiatan refleksi untuk mereview hasil tugas portofolio siswa.

Abstract

Abstract Indonesian language subjects, especially explanatory text material, are compulsory lessons for elementary school students listed in the 2013 curriculum. Explanation text learning activities require careful planning of learning activities in order to achieve the desired learning objectives. Achieving learning objectives can be achieved if the teacher is able to choose the right learning methods and media. This study aims to reveal the need for media in learning explanatory text in grade V elementary school. This research was conducted through a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and observations at one of the elementary schools in Ciamis Regency. The results of the research based on the results of interviews and observations show data that there are limitations to learning media such as only using teacher and student thematic books in the learning process and using newspaper media. In addition, students prefer visual learning with play learning methods. Therefore, it is necessary to develop learning media on explanatory text material in accordance with these characteristics. Keywords: Explanation text, Learning media, Grade V students. Abstrak Mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia terkhusus materi teks eksplanasi menjadi pelajaran wajib bagi peserta didik sekolah dasar yang tercantum dalam kurikulum 2013. Kegiatan pembelajaran teks eksplanasi diperlukan perencanaan kegiatan belajar yang matang agar dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diinginkan. Pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai apabila guru mampu memilih metode dan media pembelajaran yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap kebutuhan media dalam pembelajaran teks eksplanasi di kelas V SD. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui penekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi di salah satu SD di Kabupaten Ciamis. Adapun hasil penelitian yang didasarkan pada hasil wawancara dan observasi menunjukkan data bahwasannya terdapat keterbatasan media pembelajaran seperti hanya menggunakan buku tematik guru dan siswa dalam proses belajar serta menggunakan media koran. Selain itu, siswa lebih menyukai pembelajaran secara visual dengan metode belajar bermain. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangan media pembelajaran pada materi teks eksplanasi yang sesuai dengan karakteristik tersebut. Kata Kunci: Teks eksplanasi, Media pembelajaran, Peserta didik kelas V SD.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to reveal and describe the implementation of portfolio assessments carried out by teachers in the learning process. Based on the literature review, this research is motivated by the suboptimal implementation of portfolio assessment. This study was conducted at SD Negeri Indihiang, with VC class teachers as participants. The study utilized a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected using interview guidelines and documentation. The study’s findings revealed several steps in compiling portfolio assessments that were not carried out: (1) the teachers did not hold regular meetings to reflect on student performance results. This is due to the teacher's difficulties in managing time to meet the demands of learning objectives; (2) the teachers did not provide continuous feedback on student work, as there was no because selection process based on criteria; and (3) during the assessment stage, the teacher still does not use the scoring rubric, thereby unable to enforce the assessment criteria on performance results. This is due to the teachers inability to develop an assessment rubric.

Abstract

This study investigating the effectiveness of using Sainsmatika story tale book towards student science anxiety. The study were an experimental research with pretest-posttest control-group design, involving 122 fourth-grade students in one of the district in Indonesia. Characteristically, this research employs quantitative data which were collected from the questionnaire results regarding science anxiety. The data were analyzed using statistical methods to calculate the values and determine the frequency as well as the mean of pretest and posttest scores in control and experimental classes. To determine the effectiveness of using fairytale books to reduce students’ science anxiety, the one-way analysis of ANOVA was used with a significant difference at the level of Sig < 0.05. The results of this study reveal that the use of sainsmatika-based fairytale books is effective to reduce science anxiety of the fourth-grade students with significancy 0.00 (<0.05).

Abstract

Transformasi digital di dunia pendidikan mengacu pada proses dan pendekatan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk secara komprehensif merubah bentuk aktivitas dan interaksi antar guru dan siswa. Modul pembelajaran digital dinilai memiliki fleksibilitas dalam pengembangan dan pemanfaatan, namun demikian belum banyak guru yang memiliki kompetensi dalam mengembangkan modul pembelajaran digital. Hands-on virtual training merupakan pendekatan pelatihan berbentuk virtual sehingga dapat mencakup subjek dari berbagai daerah dan memiliki tingkat fleksibitas yang tinggi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji keefektifan hands-on virtual training dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru sekolah dasar dalam mengembangkan modul pembelajaran digital. Subjek penelitian ini ialah 86 guru sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Ciamis, Jawa Barat. Desain penelitian yang digunakan ialah one group pretest-posttest design. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket penilaian diri dan rubrik penilaian produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 84% peserta hands-on virtual training merasa.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the unavailability of teaching modules that lead to appreciation learning and not using a special learning model for fairy tale appreciation. The aim of this research is to analyze the need for a fairy tale appreciation teaching module for Indonesian language subjects in class IV elementary school. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. This research was conducted in the period 26 February - 1 March 2024 in two public elementary schools in Tasikmalaya City with research subjects namely two class IV educators and teaching module documents. The data collection techniques used were observation, document study and interviews. The data analysis technique used is the data analysis technique using the Miles and Huberman model in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the fairy tale appreciation learning process is still not implemented optimally in an appreciative manner, because educators still have not planned learning optimally. Educators still use teaching modules provided by the government, so the learning model used does not use a learning model specifically for learning literary appreciation. Thus, there is no teaching module available that leads to learning to appreciate fairy tales in it. The implication is that it is necessary to develop an Indonesian language teaching module with fairy tale appreciation material that leads to appreciation learning using a learning model that is appropriate to literary appreciation learning, namely the P-IKADKA model with the syntax of introduction, introduction, connection, appreciation, discussion, comprehension and affirmation.
