Abstract

Literasi sains merupakan kemampuan penting yang harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik dalam menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21. Pendekatan STEM menjadi salah satu metode yang efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi sains, karena mengintegrasikan berbagai disiplin ilmu yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari dan perkembangan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan soal tes bermuatan STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) dalam rangka mengevaluasi kemampuan literasi sains di SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara semi terstruktur. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, terkait pembelajaran STEM, literasi sains, dan pengembangan soal tes di SD. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kebutuhan akan soal tes bermuatan STEM yang dapat mengukur kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik. Soal-soal tersebut harus mencakup berbagai aspek literasi sains. Selain itu, soal tes juga harus dirancang untuk merangsang minat dan motivasi peserta didik dalam belajar sains. Oleh karena itu, perlunya pengembangan soal tes bermuatan STEM yang inovatif dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran di SD. Melalui analisis kebutuhan ini dapat mendukung upaya untuk mengembangkan soal tes yang dapat mengevaluasi kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik serta mempersiapkan mereka dalam menghadapi tantangan di masa depan, khususnya dalam konteks penerapan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan STEM.

Abstract

This study aims to describe elementary school teachers’ perceptions of the use of STEM-based instructional media as an effort to strengthen 21st-century skills. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with the subjects being elementary school teachers in the regions of Tasikmalaya City and Regency. The population included all elementary school teachers in both areas, with a purposive sample of 50 participants. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire developed based on three indicators of STEM literacy: (1) awareness of the role of STEM in modern society, (2) familiarity with basic STEM concepts, and (3) foundational fluency in STEM application. Data were collected using an online questionnaire via google forms, while the data analysis involved calculating the average score for each indicator. The results showed that for the first indicator, teachers in Tasikmalaya City had higher awareness (average score of 4.05) compared to those in the Regency (3.93). However, in the second and third indicators, teachers from the Regency scored higher, at 3.39 and 3.67 respectively, compared to city teachers who scored 3.30 and 3.59. These findings suggest that although urban teachers have stronger conceptual awareness, rural teachers demonstrate greater mastery in understanding and applying STEM practically in classroom learning. This difference is suspected to be influenced by contextual experience and more frequent implementation of hands-on learning approaches in the Regency.

Abstract

Sebagian besar pencemaran lingkungan saat ini disebabkan oleh aktivitas manusia. Saat ini, kerusakan lingkungan disebabkan oleh berbagai aktivitas manusia, seperti penggundulan hutan dan pembuangan limbah plastik dan kimia secara langsung ke lingkungan. Sangat penting untuk mengatasi masalah ini untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masing-masing melalui pendidikan. Pendidikan hidup sangat berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan kepedulian siswa terhadap lingkungan sekitar mereka sehingga mereka memiliki tanggung jawab atas apa yang mereka miliki. Salah satu langkah yang tepat dan berhasil adalah memasukkan program Adiwiyata di sekolah ke dalam pendidikan lingkungan. Program Adiwiyata dapat mewujudkan lingkungan belajar yang ramah lingkungan dan meningkatkan kesadaran dan partisipasi aktif seluruh siswa dalam pelestarian lingkungan. SDN Mancogeh adalah subjek penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana program dapat menumbuhkan karakter yang peduli dengan lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Dengan teknik penelitian observasi wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil akhir penelitian ini untuk menunjukkan dan menggambarkan bahwa pelaksanaan program Adiwiyata memiliki peran dalam membentuk karakter peduli lingkungan siswa di sekolah dasar. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon peserta didik dan kelayakan dari media pembelajaran smart box pada materi mitigasi bencana di kelas 5 SDN Padarama. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADIEE. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 1 orang ahli materi, 1 orang ahli media, 1 orang ahli pedagogik, 1 orang guru, dan 25 orang siswa kelas V SDN Padarama. Sedangkan objek penelitian ini adalah validitas dari media pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan. Teknik pengumpulan data dan instrumen yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan angket validasi serta respon siswa. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis melalui teknik analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran smart box pada materi mitigasi bencana memperoleh rata-rata nilai dari Uji ahli materi pembelajaran memperoleh persentase 94,44 %, uji ahli media pembelajaran memperoleh persentase 96,42 %, uji ahli pedagogik memperoleh presentase 88,46 %, dan uji terhadap siswa memperoleh rata-rata 95,25%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, media pembelajaran Smart Box dinyatakan sangat layak dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran mitigasi bencana.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the application of the flipped classroom model in learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) at the elementary school level. IPAS learning is expected to not only focus on delivering material, but also be able to foster activeness, curiosity, and optimal student involvement. The flipped classroom model is an innovative alternative that can reverse conventional learning patterns, by presenting learning materials first through digital media to be studied independently at home, then using face-to-face time in class for discussion, questions and answers, and collaborative problem solving. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation and literature study of five scientific articles published in 2020–2025. The results of the study show that the flipped classroom model has great potential in improving cognitive learning outcomes, conceptual understanding, and active involvement of students in IPAS learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Pembelajaran sains di sekolah dasar seringkali menghadapi tantangan, terutama dalam penyampaian konsep abstrak seperti siklus air. Topik ini seringkali menimbulkan miskonsepsi di kalangan siswa akibat minimnya media pembelajaran yang konkret dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan penggunaan water cycle box sebagai media pembelajaran alternatif yang dapat membantu siswa memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif tentang konsep siklus air. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data seperti kuesioner, wawancara dengan guru dan siswa, serta dokumentasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua sekolah dasar dengan total 21 siswa dan beberapa guru kelas lima sebagai partisipan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa menikmati pelajaran sains tetapi kesulitan memahami proses siklus air, terutama karena terbatasnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang tepat. Para guru juga mengakui minimnya alat peraga dan menyatakan dukungannya terhadap pengembangan media yang dapat merepresentasikan proses siklus air secara konkret. Water cycle box dianggap sebagai alat yang efektif untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang langsung dan representatif melalui elemen visual seperti gunung, danau, lautan, dan kapas untuk melambangkan awan. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa water cycle box sangat dibutuhkan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep siklus air dan mengurangi kesalahpahaman selama proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Learning to appreciate fairy tales has not yet led to appreciation activities. Then, the use of teaching materials is generally still printed teaching materials. This research aims to present the results of a needs analysis for the development of Google Sites teaching materials for fairy tale appreciation learning in elementary schools. The method used in research is qualitative and data was collected through observation, interviews, document study & literature study. The research findings (1) students are more interested in digital-based learning, (2) the number of textbooks for learning activities is limited, (3) the existing teaching materials are still incomplete in explaining material regarding learning that leads to an appreciation of fairy tales. The needs analysis shows that there is a need to develop Google Sites teaching materials in learning fairy tale appreciation which can facilitate students to learn appreciation, one of them is by adding stages in appreciating fairy tales.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of problems in the form of low conceptual understanding possessed by students in the material of the human digestive system. One of the causes of students' low understanding of concepts in the human digestive system material is due to misconceptions or misunderstandings of concepts. As for research on the identification of Student Misconceptions in the Material of the Human Digestive System in Elementary Schools, the aim is to describe misconceptions, along with knowing the causes of misconceptions. While the research method used in this study with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection instruments were in the form of essay test questions, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the average misconception experienced by students in the human digestive system material was 55.65% greater than the understanding category of 33.47% and the non-understanding category of 10.86%. Factors that cause students' misconceptions about the material of the human digestive system are caused by preconceptions, incomplete reasoning, wrong intuition, learning methods or methods used, associative thinking and abilities possessed by students, the teacher/teaching factor lacks mastery of learning materials, lack of interest of students in learning and language context. This research is expected to be a reference regarding identifying misconceptions experienced by students in the subject of the human digestive system.

Abstract

Learning media is an important alternative to use in learning, especially in elementary schools. This interactive video media is used as a tool for teaching innovation in learning, especially in the water cycle material, in order to increase students' enthusiasm for learning and motivate students in learning to be more interactive. It is important to develop discussions regarding interactive video media in the world of teaching, so that educators can increase innovations in developing media used in learning activities. This pattern of design and development of interactive video media needs to be implemented well so that educators can review the development, effectiveness and efficiency of learning activities. Therefore, learning about the water cycle in learning can run well.

Abstract

This research examines the development of interactive multimedia teaching materials that are very relevant to today's learning needs. The development of E-LKPD teaching materials uses the live worksheets application to make learning more interesting and interactive. The aim of this development is to create E-LKPD using the live worksheets application so that learning becomes more varied and interactive for students. This development was carried out using the R&D (Research & Development) method adapting the ADDIE model with stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The research instruments used include observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The product developed was validated by material experts, media experts and language experts to assess its validity before being implemented in elementary schools. The validation results show a score of 78% from material experts (decent), 75% from language experts (decent), and 96% from media experts (very decent), with an overall average score of 86.5%, included in the very decent category. . Thus, the E-LKPD product assisted by the liveworksheets application has met the valid criteria and is suitable for implementation in grade 4 elementary schools.
