Abstract

Restrictions on community activities due to the spread of the Covid-19 virus have changed sports in Indonesia, forcing athletes to practice independently in their respective homes with training programs created by coaches. This study aims to find out the effect of circuit body weight training on arm muscle endurance and archery accuracy of archery athletes. This research is an experimental method of one group pretest-posttest design. This study employed purposive sampling with the criteria of elite archery athletes, still in high school, male, and willing to participate. Total of 12 athletes was given treatment with 8 movements for 16 meetings. The instrument is a holding bow digit test for arm muscle endurance, while archery accuracy uses 50 meters of archery. The collected data were examined for normality and homogeneity, then followed with t-test with the result that t count = 0.00 less than t (0.05). Based on the results, it is concluded that circuit bodyweight training positively improves arm muscle endurance and accuracy of archery athletes. Therefore, giving circuit bodyweight training can be used as a recommendation for physical exercise to increase arm muscle endurance and archery accuracy in archery athletes.

Abstract

Pembinaan adalah bagian penting dari proses keberlangsungan mempertahankan prestasi. Dalam upaya pembinaan atlet terdapat tahapan konteks, input, proses dan hasil yang menjadi bagian evalusai agar dapat mencapai hasil yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil pembinaan prestasi dan evaluasi pada bimbinaan prestasi kelas olahraga. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah metode campuran dengan sampel uji coba 108 siswa dan 13 guru pada lima Sekolah Menengah Atas yang berada di wilayah berbeda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan rerata 3,20 “cukup baik” pada siswa dan 13 guru menunjukkan hasil “cukup baik” dengan rerata 3,25.

Abstract

Borobudur is one of the New Bali sites that has had a significant impact on the tourism industry as well as infrastructure development. The opening of the Yogyakarta International Airport is one of the driving factors. The existence of YIA Airport is intended to be able to connect directly with Borobudur Temple. Therefore, good access is required by establishing the Bedah Menoreh route as the primary tourism route. The focus of infrastructure development is to encourage the economy of the local people in four different sub-districts. The Menoreh route, on the other hand, has allowed investors to engage in the development of tourism in the area. By monitoring the statistics and some facts that occur in the field, this article explores the development policy of Bedah Menoreh's tourism infrastructure and its difficulties in the local community's economic development. A qualitative method was utilized, including secondary data sources in the form of linked policies and reports from diverse sources. The purpose of this paper is to identify the projected Bedah Menoreh infrastructure development program and determine whether it is in conformity with the government's objectives for boosting the local economy. This article concludes that the development of the Bedah Menoreh Route as a supporter of tourism infrastructure is a good idea, but determining policies also requires synergy with the local community in order to have a positive impact on welfare in terms of economic, social, cultural, and environmental aspects.

Abstract

Abstrak: Evaluasi merupakan proses identifikasi sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan suatu program yang dilaksanakan agar sesuai dengan tujuan yang akan dicapai. Akan tetapi, fakta yang berbeda ditunjukkan dalam fenomena dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani yang belum dilaksanakan secara maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Implementasi evaluasi dalam peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran penjas yang dikaji melalui perbandingan antara teori dan realitas dengan menggunakan pendekatan CIPP. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa metode campuran (kuantitatif dan kualitatif). Sampel data yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan dan Rekreasi dengan jumlah 102 mahasiswa yang minimal telah menempuh empat semester di Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan UNY. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai tertinggi Context 64,70% interpretasi sangat setuju akan adanya evaluasi sebagai peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dengan dasar perencanaan, nilai tertinggi Input 62,74% interpretasi sangat setuju akan adanya evaluasi sebagai peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dengan dasar kesiapan program, nilai tertinggi process interpretasi sangat setuju 51,96% akan adanya evaluasi sebagai peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dengan dasar proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan nilai tertinggi product 75,49 interpretasi setuju akan adanya evaluasi sebagai peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dengan dasar hasil evaluasi bisa digunakan sebagai tolak ukur perbaikan mutu pembelajaran. Abstract: Evaluation is an identification process as the basis for making decisions about a program that is implemented in accordance with the objectives to be achieved. However, different facts are shown in the phenomena in physical education learning that have not been implemented optimally. This study aims to determine the implementation of evaluation in improving the quality of physical education learning which is studied through a comparison between theory and reality using the CIPP approach. The method used in this study is a mixed method (quantitative and qualitative). The data sample used is Physical Education, Health and Recreation students with a total of 102 students who have taken at least four semesters at the Faculty of Sports Science, UNY. The results of this study indicate that the highest value of context is 64.70%, the interpretation strongly agrees with the evaluation as an improvement in the quality of learning on the basis of planning, the highest value Input is 62.74%, the interpretation strongly agrees with the evaluation as an improvement in the quality of learning on the basis of program readiness. the highest process interpretation strongly agrees 51.96% of the evaluation as an improvement in the quality of learning on the basis of the learning implementation process, and the highest value of the product 75.49 interpretations agrees that the evaluation as an improvement in the quality of learning on the basis of the evaluation results can be used as a benchmark for improving the quality of learning.

Abstract

Recently, the practice of categorizing intelligent students and unintelligent students is a deeply ingrained phenomenon within the realm of education in Indonesia. Indeed, multiple specialists have verified that the attributes of intelligence vary among individual students. Hence, this study aims to revolutionize theme education in primary schools by implementing an autonomous curriculum that is rooted in the Islamic Montessori for Multiple Intelligence approach. This study employs the library research methodology, utilizing primary and secondary data derived from printed or digital sources such as books, journals, and magazines. The outcome of this discussion is to generate a set of activities for different domains of learning. These activities include folding clothes or buttoning clothes for the Islamic Studies domain, hand washing for the practical life domain, matching pictures with zones for the sensorial domain, matching words for the language domain, matching numbers for the mathematical domain, matching fruit with pictures for the cultural realm, and drawing or creating ecobricks for the arts & crafts realm. These diverse educational approaches involve the creation of a curriculum centered around the Islamic Montessori for Multiple Intelligence method, with the aim of promoting a healthy and virtuous lifestyle. These methods can be effectively utilized by teachers during classroom instruction. Through the development of diverse learning activities, education will be conducted in a more comprehensive manner, tailored to the individual traits and capabilities of each student. This approach to designing educational activities can thereafter be implemented in the instruction of young children in primary schools.

Abstract

The development of Instagram tourism objects in various parts of the world has encouraged many tourists to compete with each other to visit the place. Based on previous studies, it was stated that most of the visitors from this Instagram tourist attraction were millennials. In terms of terminology, Instagram tourism attraction is a tourist destinations which have unique, exist, and hits characters. It also used and utilized as photo hunting objects to share on Instagram accounts. The high interest of millennial tourists to produce and get the good photos has encouraged the development of similar Instagram tourism attraction. According to Gunn (1993), tourist destinations can attract tourist visits if it have several components such as attractions, services, information, promotions and transportation. However, these components are not the main focus in planning and developing Instagram tourism. The purpose of this article is to try to analyze the attractiveness of Instagram tourism attraction and it can be used as a reference in planning the management of Instagram tourism objects. This article used a qualitative method by using secondary data sources which are collected from several scientific articles, books, statistical data, and newspaper media. The results of this article found that the attractiveness of Instagram tourism attraction is actually a tourist activity that solely wants to pursue visual pleasure because the character of this attraction type is a blurry attraction. Therefore, planning of the development of Instagram tourism attraction must consider the components that can encourage to creating/producing good visual quality.

Abstract

The difficulty of the material presented in science subjects and the teacher's lack of ability to utilize learning media have an impact on students' low ability to understand learning material. So, the aim of this research is to develop flashcard media on the growth and development of creatures in elementary schools so that students can more easily understand the material being taught. The research design used is research and development (R&D) which goes through 7 stages of development design according to Borg & Gall. The data collection techniques used in this research were interviews, observation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive. The results of this research and development show that the flashcard learning media regarding the growth and development of living things to equip students' speaking skills is declared suitable for use. This can be seen from the results of material validation with an average score of 4.8 which is in the "very good" category and media validation with an average score of 3.95 in the "good" category. Apart from that, the results of student responses in the initial field trial got an average score of 4.6 which was included in the "very good" category and the results of teacher responses got an average score of 4.7 which was included in the "very good" category as well as the results of student responses in the main field trial got an average score of 4.49 which is in the "very good" category. With this, it can be concluded that this flashcard learning media is suitable for use in the learning process in class III of elementary school.

Abstract

Social intelligence and motor skills are essential for a child's development. This study in the Sleman Regency investigates the relationship between social intelligence and motor skills development in 170 primary school students. The data collection instruments included a Social Skills Rating Scale (SSRS-T), a questionnaire, and Nurhasan's motor ability test. The data used meet the normality and linearity conditions, as indicated by the coefficients of 0.721 and 0.108, each greater than 0.05, respectively. The results show that 71.17% of the sampled students have above-average social intelligence (SI). The sampled children's SI can be grouped into very good (top 10%), good (next 18.82%), average (middle 42.35%), poor (next 25.29%), and extremely poor (bottom 25.29%); the respondents' rates in each category are as mentioned. Regarding motor development, 8.24% of the students were categorised as very good, 20.59% as good, 36.47% as average, 32.35% as poor, and 2.35% as extremely poor. The study found a moderate positive correlation (r value of 0.344) between social intelligence and motor development. With the determinant R2=0.118, given the variable indicators, high importance on communication and physical interaction explains at least 11.8% of the variation in the students' motor skills development. The researchers recommend that further studies on the habits of electronic gadget usage by the sampled children be carried out to shed light on unexploited frontiers for children with poor and extremely poor social intelligence.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada peserta didik sekolah menengah pertama di Yogyakarta tentang kurikulum baru dan juga literasi motorik anak. Literasi motorik bagi anak sangat penting agar anak memiliki kemampuan gerak yang dibutuhkan kelak dalam kehidupan kesehariannya. Metode pengabdian dosen berkegiatan di luar kampus ini dilaksanakan pada 24 Juni 2022. Dosen berkegiatan di luar kampus dilaksanakan secara tatap muka (luring) di ruang Audio Visual Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 9 Yogyakarta. Khalayak sasaran dalam kegiatan ini difokuskan kepada peserta didik sekolah menengah pertama sejumlah 35 orang peserta didik. Kriteria keberhasilan kegiatan ini apabila pengetahuan peserta didik sekolah menengah pertama tentang kurikulum prototipe dan literasi motorik mengalami peningkatan, dengan skor minimal 70. Analisis data menggunakan uji beda/uji t dengan membandingkan hasil test mean rerata. Hasil pre test diperoleh rerata pengetahuan peserta didik di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 9 Yogyakarta berada pada rerata mean: 54, setelah diberikan materi oleh tim dosen berkegiatan di luar kampus terjadi peningkatan rerata mean: 79. Kegiatan sosialisasi literasi motorik bagi peserta didik di Sekolah Menengah Pertama mampu memberikan tambahan pengetahuan kepada khalayak peserta dalam mengetahui literasi motorik dalam pembelajaran PJOK.

Abstract

A few years earlier, the world was going through a critical period due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. This outbreak then changed its status from a pandemic to an endemic, people must continue to maintain their own health, including in a healthy lifestyle in their daily lives. This service focuses on implementing community service programs that focus on the goal of fostering a healthy lifestyle for the younger generation in Krapyak village, Sleman regency. The assessment methods used in this community service program are lecture, observation, and demonstration methods. The target object of this service is the community and young people of the tourist village of Kampung Emas Yogyakarta. The result of this program is the implementation of sports-based healthy lifestyle workshops for the younger generation and figures in the village which are then optimized with sports mentoring activities in order to understand and familiarize a healthy lifestyle for the younger generation in Krapyak village through physical activity. The coaching of sports activities carried out is badminton, table tennis, archery, mini soccer, pencak silat, outbound, and gymnastics. The implementation of this service received a positive response from the community where the service was served. In the future, service can be done again by further activating the youth element of the village cadets who can act as service partners and maintain the continuity of the coaching program at all times. Keywords: Coaching, golden village, health., healthy lifestyle, sport-tourism. Abstrak Beberapa tahun sebelumnya, kondisi dunia yang sedang melewati masa-masa kritis akibat pandemi Covid-19. Wabah ini kemudian berubah statusnya dari pandemi menjadi sebuah endemi, masyarakat harus tetap menjaga kesehatan dirinya masing-masing, termasuk dalam pola hidup sehat di kehidupannya sehari-hari. Pengabdian ini berfokus pada pelaksanaan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang fokus pada tujuan untuk pembinaan pola hidup sehat para generasi muda di desa Krapyak wilayah kabupaten Sleman. Adapun metode pengkajian yang digunakan dalam program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah metode ceramah, observasi, dan demonstrasi. Adapun sasaran objek pengabdian ini adalah masyarakat dan anak-anak muda desa wisata Kampung Emas Yogyakarta. Hasil kegiatan dari program ini adalah dilaksanakannya kegiatan workshop pola hidup sehat berbasis olahraga pada generasi muda dan tokoh-tokoh di desa yang kemudian dioptimalkan dengan kegiatan pendampingan olahraga dalam rangka meningkatkan pemahaman sekaligus membiasakan pola hidup sehat bagi generasi muda di desa Krapyak melalui aktivitas fisik. Adapun pembinaan kegiatan olahraga yang dilaksanakan adalah bulu tangkis, tenis meja, panahan, mini soccer, pencak silat, outbond, dan senam. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini mendapat respon positif dari masyarakat tempat pengabdian. Kedepannya, pengabdian bisa dilakukan lagi dengan lebih mengaktifkan elemen pemuda karang taruna desa yang bisa berperan sebagai rekan pengabdian dan menjaga keberlangsungan program pembinaan setiap waktunya. Kata kunci: Pembinaan, kampung emas, kesehatan, pola hidup sehat, sport-tourism.
