Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam tatanan Group Investigation dan konvensional terhadap: Keterampilan Proses Sains Mahasiswa USI Pematangsiantar. Sampel diambil secara total sampling,yaitu seluruh mahasiswa semester VIsebanyak 60 orang yang dikelompokkan ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam tatanan Group Investigation, kelompok eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran Group Investigation, dan kelompok kontrol dengan model pembelajaran konvensional.Instrumen penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa. Metode penelitian ini bersifat kuasi eksperimen dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji F-ANAKOVA dan ANOVA pada taraf signifikan α = 5% dengan bantuan program SPSS 21.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Tes keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam tatanan Group Investigation 87,60 ± 4,28 secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran Group Investigation 81,50 ± 5,77 dan pembelajaran konvensional 70,40 ± 4,01 dengan (Fhitung=63,092; P=0,000). Selanjutnya observasi keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam tatanan Group Investigation 92,85 ± 4,61 secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran Group Investigation 77,80 ± 7,27 dan pembelajaran konvensional 57,25 ± 8,69 dengan (Fhitung=127,856; P=0,000). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam tatanan Group Investigation berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa USI Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Group Investigation with Project Based Learning model towards higher order thinking. The population of this research were the total, 60 under-graduated students of Simalungun University in fourth semester. They grouped as first experimental class treated by Group Investigation combine with PJBL, for next experimental class taught by Group Investigation and for control class taught by using conventional learning model. The research instrument uses a test result of learning ability of higher order thinking. This study include quasi experimental method. The data were analyzed by helping SPSS 21.0 program using F-test (ANACOVA α = 5% ). The results shown that: The higher order thinking ability of under-graduated students of Simalungun University treated by Group Investigation were significantly high (88,60 ± 3,73; x̄ ± SD) than group investigation class (81,00 ± 4,01 (x̄ ± SD) and conventional class 74,60 ± 3,58 (x̄ ± SD) with (Fhitung=67,742; P=0,000). Therefore, it can be concluded that Group Investigation combine with PJBL were affected the students’ higher order thinking abilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran 3R pada materi ekosistem. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas VII SMP Al-Washliyah Pematagsiantar Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 mulai bulan Mei – Juni 2018. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VII SMP Al-Washliyah Pematagsiantar Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 yang terdiri dari 2 kelas, dengan jumlah siswa keseluruhan 50 siswa. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara memasukkan seluruh populasi kedalam sampel, karena populasi penelitian ini hanya 50 siswa, kurang dari 100, maka penelitian ini disebut sebagai penelitian populasi, yang berari populasi sekaligus sampel yaitu kelas VII-1 (eksperimen) dan kelas VII-2 (kontrol) yang masing-masing berjumlah 25 orang.Analisis data dilakukan dengan menghitung skor rata-rata (mean), standar deviasi dan hipotesis dibuktikan dengan menggunakan uji-t pada taraf siginifikansi  = 0,05. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pre-test dan post-test kelas eksperimen adalah 6,22 dan 7,24, nilai rata -rata pre-test dan post-test kelas kontrol adalah 5,00 dan 8,54 dan nilai rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol adalah 8,04 dan 7,28 menunjukkan perbedaan hasil belajar sebesar 0,76 setelah menggunakan metode 3R pada materi ekosistem di kelas VII SMP Al-Washliyah Pematagsiantar Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t diperoleh thitung (3,42) > ttabel (2,00), dengan demikian Ho ditolak artinya ada perbedaan yang signifikan dari hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran 3R pada materi ekosistem di kelas VII SMP Al-Washliyah Pematagsiantar Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018

Abstract

Penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model snowball throwing pada materi saling ketergantungan dalam ekosistem di kelas VII MTS Darul Muttaqin Kandangan Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII MTS Darul Muttaqin Kandangan sebanyak 80 orang yang terdiri dari 2 kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh populasi karena jumlah populasi < 100 (sampel total) yaitu berjumlah 80 orang (2 kelas). Analisis data dilakukan dengan menentukan skor rata-rata (X), standar deviasi (S) dan hipotesis dibuktikan dengan uji t pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pre-test kelas kontrol 46,50 dan post-test 72,88 sedangkan nilai rata-rata pre-test kelas eksperimen 47,00 dan post-test 80,13. Nilai rata-rata post-test kelas kontrol 72,88 sedangkan nilai rata-rata post-test untuk kelas eksperimen 80,13. Hal ini menunjukan perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 5,00. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung (3,64) > ttabel(2,00) pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dengan dk = 78, maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak artinya ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model snowball throwing pada materi saling ketergantungan dalam ekosistem di kelas VII MTS Darul Muttaqin Kandangan Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model snowball throwing pada materi saling ketergantungan dalam ekosistem di kelas VII MTS Darul Muttaqin Kandangan Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020.

Abstract

Pancasila as a guide to life for the Indonesian people contains values that are relevant to be implemented in the mediation process in court in order to reach an agreement to resolve disputes in a win-win solution. Data from the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia for 2022 shows a decreasing trend in resolving cases through mediation, only 19.07% were successfully resolved, while 59.14% were unsuccessful and 20.21% could not be implemented. The success of mediation, which shows a downward trend, is associated with the Pancasila values implemented in mediation. It is interesting to examine how mediation can implement Pancasila values and what challenges are faced in implementing Pancasila values in mediation in court. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach, collecting and analyzing data from various written sources, such as books, journal articles, reports and official documents that are relevant to the research topic. The research results show that Pancasila values can be implemented in mediation in court which becomes a reference for disputing parties, mediators, legal representatives and judges, so that the mediation process is based on high ethics and morals, fair treatment, constructive dialogue to find common ground, as well as active participation of the parties so that the resulting solution reflects mutual agreement and benefit. Obstacles include social and cultural factors in society which give rise to various points of view about mediation, skepticism regarding failed mediation experiences, weak knowledge and understanding of Pancasila values.

Abstract

Media sosial telah menjadi kebutuhan dan kebiasaan setiap orang sebagai media komunikasi publik. Di satu sisi, media sosial dapat menjadi sarana bagi sebagian orang untuk menyebarkan berita bohong dan ujaran kebencian yang dapat menimbulkan perpececahan, kegaduhan, intoleransi dan merebaknya paham radikalisme. Salah satu pengguna media sosial yang paling aktif adalah generasi muda yang dilahirkan di zaman kemajuan teknologi digital. masyarakat milenial kadang tidak menyadari bahaya dari penyebaran berita bohong dan ujaran kebencian di media sosial, sehingga perlu literiasi digital agar terhindari dari berita bohong dan konten konten negatif di media sosial. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan pemahaman dan kemampuan dalam rangka meningkatkan literasi digital bagi masyarakat untuk mampu mengidentifikasi dan mencegah penyebaran berita bohong dan konten negative yang berujung pada penipuan secara online. Bentuk kegiatan berupa pelatihan baik secara teori maupun praktik berkaitan dengan konsep literasi digital Indonesia dan penggunaan media sosial serta internet yang baik dan tidak melanggar undang-undang. Hasil dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan dan pemahaman literasi digital di kalangan masyarakat namu umur utara dalam menangkal berita bohong dan konten negatif. Diharapkan kegiatan ini memberikan manfaat dalam pencegahan penyebaran informasi yang salah bagi masyarakat namu umur utara agar tidak mudah terprovokasi dan mampu mencegah terjadinya intoleransi dan paham radikalisme yang banyak berkembang di dunia maya. Semoga kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini memberikan kontribusi yang sangat dominan bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Building the Spirit of Islamic Leadership in the MTs Aisyiah Binjai Environment. This research aims to find out, analyze the general description of students at MTs Aisyiah Binjai and foster leadership in students within the MTs Aisyiah Binjai environment. This type of research is a qualitative method. The research location was carried out in the MTs Aisyiah Binjai environment. Determining informants as selected data sources using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection uses observation techniques, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data validity is obtained through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmatory. Qualitative data analysis: reduction, data exposure, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show a lack of interest among students in participating in extracurricular activities at MTs Aisyiah Binjai. Data obtained by researchers through direct interviews with respondents shows that most students only focus on education, namely learning in class. Meanwhile, they have very little interest in doing activities outside the classroom. There are several ways that can be done to cultivate a leadership spirit, including building knowledge, reading diligently; open the windows of your own cells; self-discipline; work with priorities; do or delegate; build trust and respect; maintain emotional stability; train yourself to communicate and be competent; learn to write; and use management. In cultivating a leadership spirit in students, there are three important points, namely leadership, team working and communication. Meanwhile, to be a superior leader, you must have vision, value and courage. Vision, value, courage, competence, strong and natural character which is supported by three skills that must be possessed, namely academic technical skills or knowledge, human skills or skills, and spiritual skills. and religious.

Abstract

This research is quantitative research. The population in this research is the entire population in the research is all MA Al Islahiyah Binjai students, totaling 140 people. The sample in the research refers to an error level of 5%. The sample in this study was 100 people. The variables in this research consist of AI applications as variable X and students' English reading ability as variable Y. The research results show that (1) The percentage value of students' AI applications at MA Al Islahiyah Binjai is P = 84.4%. Based on the results obtained above, it can be seen that the AI application at MA Al Islahiyah Binjai can be said to be very, very good. (2) The percentage value of English reading ability is 83.07%. Based on the results obtained above, it can be seen that the English reading ability of students at MA Al Islahiyah can be said to be very good. (3) There is a significant influence between AI applications on students' English reading ability at MA Al Islahiyah Binjai with Adjusted R Square 0.822 meaning 82.2%. Meanwhile, 17.8% (100%-82.2%) was explained by other factors not examined by researchers. Based on this research, it shows that the t-count value of the AI application variable is 11.633, which is greater than t table, namely 2.048 or 11.633 > 2.048 and is significant at 0.000, so it can be concluded that the AI application variable has a significant effect on students' English reading ability at MA Al Islahiyah Binjai because of its significant value. below 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive learning media in the form of an e-comic called Biocom (Biology Comic) to enhance students' scientific literacy on environmental awareness material for Grade X at SMA Swasta Kartika 1-4 Pematangsiantar. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using a modified Borg and Gall development model consisting of ten stages, from identifying potential and problems to product production. The developed media was validated by media and content experts and tested on both small and large student groups. The validation results indicated that the e-comic Biocom is highly valid, with validation scores of 98% (media expert) and 92% (content expert). Student responses were very positive, with an average questionnaire score of 92.5%. Furthermore, the students' pre-test and post-test results showed a significant improvement, with an average N-Gain score of 0.72, categorized as high. Thus, the Biocom e-comic is deemed feasible and effective as a learning media to improve students' scientific literacy on environmental awareness material.
