Abstract

Background: Indonesia, as a coastal country, possesses abundant biological resources, among which the mangrove ecosystem plays a crucial role in maintaining ecological balance, protecting coastlines, and providing habitats for marine life. However, the younger generation’s understanding of the ecological functions of mangroves remains limited, including in Bulak District, Surabaya City. The Community Empowerment Partnership Programme (PKM) on Mangrove Ecosystem Education based on Virtual Reality (VR) was implemented at SD Muhammadiyah 9 Surabaya with the aim of enhancing students’ environmental literacy and improving teachers’ capacity in utilizing digital learning media. Methods: This programme involved socialization, teacher training, VR media implementation, mentoring, and evaluation through student pre-tests and post-tests. Results: The results indicated a significant improvement in students’ understanding of mangrove ecosystems, as reflected by higher post-test scores compared to pre-test scores. Teachers also demonstrated enhanced skills in operating VR media and designing participatory learning activities. Conclusions: Active collaboration among the community service team, schools, and committees contributed to the programme’s success and ensured the sustained use of VR media as an innovative learning strategy. Overall, the integration of VR in environmental education has proven effective, positively impacting students’ ecological literacy, teacher competency development, and sustainable technology-based learning models in coastal areas.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan pembinaan kemampuan dasar bahasa Inggris melalui Actional and Functional Model dengan latihan terbimbing secara tulisan dan lisan kepada siswa. Pendekatan pada kegiatan ini adalah participatory action research. 30 siswa SMP IT madani mengikuti kegiatan ini selama 4 minggu. Berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest pembinaan ini ditemukan adanya peningkatan pada kemampuan dasa berkomunikasi bahasa Inggris baik secara lisan. Selanjutnya kegiatan ini menghasilkan partisipasi siswa yang aktif dalam aktivitas pembelajara, enthusiasme dan rasa senang siswa mengikuti pembelajaran, rasa percaya diri siswa pada saat kegiatan melalui Actional Functional Model dan respon cepat dari siswa pada saat diberi instruksi. Singkatnya, pendekatan melalui Actional Functional Model (AFM) pembinaan kemampuan dasar bahasa Inggris memberikan peningkatan pada proses dan kemampuan dasar komunikasi bahasa Inggris siswa.

Abstract

Kabupaten Kaur merupakan salah satu kabupaten di Provinsi Bengkulu, yang memiliki berbagai macam potensi pariwisata, baik wisata alam maupun wisata budaya karena Kabupaten Kaur yang terdiri dari bermacam-macam suku, adat-istiadat dan kebudayaan. Banyak sekali peran BUMDes yang dapat membantu pengembangan Desa Wisata oleh karena itu pemerintah mendorong desa membentuk BUMDes terutama yang memiliki potensi sebagai tempat wisata. Badan usaha itu dipersiapkan untuk mengelola keuangan desa sesuai ketentuan UU No.6/2014 tentang Desa (UU Desa). Pasal 87 UU Desa dan pasal 132 PP No. 43/2014 menjelaskan bahwa setiap desa di beri peluang yang sama untuk mendirikan BUMDes. Penelitian ini mengangkat permasalahan aspek hukum pendirian dan pengelolaan BUMDes dan penerapannya di desa wisata Kabupaten Kaur beserta permasalahan kendala yang dihadapinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian hukum sosiologis untuk melihat penerapan dan efektivitas regulasi BUMDes di keempat desa wisata tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of servant leadership, interpersonal communication, and individual characteristics on organizational commitment among employees of PT. Galempa Sejahtera Sejahtera Bersama (GSB) in the BLW Empat Lawang region. The type of research used is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used include descriptive analysis, inferential analysis using SPSS, and determination analysis.The results of this study indicate that servant leadership has a positive effect on organizational commitment. This means that the better the servant leadership, the higher the organizational commitment. Interpersonal communication has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. This means that the better the interpersonal communication, the higher the organizational commitment. Individual characteristics have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. This means that the better the individual characteristics, the higher the organizational commitment. Servant leadership, interpersonal communication, and individual characteristics simultaneously or collectively have a positive and significant impact on employee organizational commitment at PT. Galempa Sejahtera Bersama (GSB) in the BLW Empat Lawang region. This means that if the levels of servant leadership, interpersonal communication, and individual characteristics are good, they will enhance employee commitment. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Job Insecurity (X₁) and Work Stress (X₂) on Organizational Commitment (Y) in employees of PT Indomarco Adi Prima Bengkulu Branch. The type of research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method. The research sample consisted of the entire employee population (42 people) through total sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews, and then analyzed by multiple linear regression using SPSS. The results of the study showed that Job Insecurity had a significant effect on Organizational Commitment (tcal = 5,040 > ttₐbₑl = 1,684; Sig. 0.000 < 0.05). Work Stress had a significant effect (tcount = 13,047 > ttₐbₑl = 1,684; Sig. 0.000 < 0.05). Job Insecurity and Work Stress together have a significant effect on Organizational Commitment (Fcal = 95,168 > Ftₐbₑl = 3.24; Sig. 0.000 < 0.05). The Coefficient of Determination (R²) of 0.830 indicates that 83% of the variation in Organizational Commitment is explained by Job Insecurity and Work Stress, while 17% is influenced by other variables outside the model. This research shows that the increase in Job Insecurity and Work Stress significantly decreases Organizational Commitment. The practical implication is that companies need to manage job insecurity and workloads to strengthen employee loyalty. Keywords: Job Insecurity, Work Stress, Organizational Commitment
