Abstract

The research design used is an analytical type of research to determine the causal relationship between two variables. with a cross sectional approach where data collection for independent variables and dependent variables is carried out at one time only. The population of this study is all teenagers in the Rohana am.keb midwife clinic area. a total of 35 teenagers. The entire research population was used as a sample, data obtained from primary data was analyzed using the chisquare test. Based on the statistical test table, it can be seen that from the chi square test, Knowledge (P=value=0.007) is smaller than sig α (0.05). It is hoped that health workers will pay more attention to young women about the dangers of breast cancer.

Abstract

The postpartum period is the period a woman goes through, starting after giving birth to the products of conception (baby and placenta) and ending up to 6 weeks after giving birth. During the postpartum period, the reproductive organs will slowly experience changes to the state before pregnancy. This change in the reproductive organs is called involution. Postpartum care is needed during this period because it is a critical period for both mother and baby. It is estimated that 60% of maternal deaths due to pregnancy occur after delivery and 50% of postpartum deaths occur within the first 24 hours. Postpartum care is carried out to reduce maternal mortality because the postpartum period is a critical period that needs monitoring. Results: Management of Midwifery Care for Mrs. D Physiological postpartum period with little breast milk, during monitoring no potential problems were found such as signs of mastitis, blocked breast milk, breast abscess and breast cancer. However, a little breast milk comes out because there is no stimulation by the way the baby breastfeeds the mother. Conclusion: From the case study after monitoring and analyzing data on mothers with complaints of little breast milk coming out at PMB Bd. Riyanti in 2024 monitoring of the postpartum period is running normally, vital signs are within normal limits and documentation and actions have been carried out on NY "D" with the result that no gaps were found between the theory and the cases obtained.

Abstract

Low Birth Weight (LBW) infants are at high risk for complications and are one of the leading causes of infant mortality in Indonesia, including in Aceh Province, where infant mortality rates are significant. This study aims to analyze the impact of LBW infant care on child development in the working area of Langsa Timur Health Center, Langsa Timur District, Langsa City, Aceh Province, in 2023. The research used a qualitative approach, conducting interviews with mothers and infants with a history of LBW. Data analysis was performed descriptively using univariate analysis to identify the characteristics of mothers and infants, as well as child development. The results showed that the majority of mothers (80%) were under 35 years old, had secondary education (100%), and were housewives (100%). The majority of infants were female (60%), and most had appropriate development (60%). The majority of infants had a history of LBW (60%). The findings suggest that appropriate care for LBW infants plays a crucial role in supporting child development and is expected to contribute to efforts to reduce LBW rates and infant mortality in the region, as well as improving the quality of maternal and child healthcare services.

Abstract

Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO), around 810 women die from pregnancy or childbirth complications worldwide every day. In 2021, it was recorded that 42,295 villages and sub-districts (56.1%) of the 75,410 villages and sub-districts in Indonesia had begun efforts to realize this Alert Village/Sub-district. Based on the results of a preliminary survey conducted in February, in Hilisalawa Village, Fanamaya District, South Nias Regency, out of 10 pregnant women, 6 pregnant women did not utilize the alert village. The data collection method was carried out by collecting primary data, namely by conducting direct interviews with respondents and providing questionnaires that were previously informed of how to fill out the questionnaire and collected back for processing. Of the 35 respondents, based on behavior, the majority behaved well as many as 22 people (63%) and the minority behaved poorly as many as 2 respondents (6%). Good behavior is due to a response received by someone from external stimuli, then creating an activity or activity in utilizing the Alert Village
