Abstract

Ficus elastica leaf is one of the Ficus species assumed to be rich in polyphenols so that it can act as an antioxidant. The research aimed to determine the antioxidant activity and IC50 value of methanol and water extracts of rubber leaf. In this research, the extraction was conducted by maceration using methanol and obtained the yield value of 7,03%, while the infundation using water obtained the yield value of 2,82%. The antioxidant activity test was conducted by DPPH free radical scavenging (1,1-diphenyl-2-phycrilhydrazyl) using a quercetin comparator. The qualitative tests were conducted by TLC method using dicloromethane:methanol eluent with a ratio of 99:1 for methanol extracts, and a ratio of 95:5 for water extracts, where all extracts of both methanol and water positively container antioxidants characterized by the formation of yellow spots with a purple background on TLC plates. The results of the quantitative test shower that the methanol extract had medium antioxidant activity with an IC50 value of 78,39 µg/mL, and water extract had an inactive antioxidant activity with an IC50 value of 319,11 µg/mL. While quercetin was classified as a very strong antioxidant with an IC50 value of 7,62 µg/mL.

Abstract

Background: Meniscus injury is one of the most common knee injuries in the orthopedic field. This injury often occurs in sports that involve rotating movements, squats/excessive knee joint flexion such as in basketball, soccer or badminton. The medial meniscus is injured more often than the lateral meniscus, and this is due to the tight attachment of the meniscus to the medial collateral ligament of the knee joint, which limits its movement. Injury occurs when the femur rotates about the tibia, or the tibia against the femur, with the knee joint slightly flexed and supporting body weight.   Objective: This study aims to summarize secondary data related to meniscus injuries.   Methods: The research method used was a literature study using secondary data in the form of journals related to the topic of meniscus injury obtained through Google Scholar, Science Direct, and PubMed.   Results: Several studies have shown that someone with a knee injury can be given physiotherapy intervention in the form of exercise that is tailored to the symptoms experienced.   Conclusion: Based on the results of a literature review, neuromuscular and strengthening exercises, Mulligan's squeeze technique with conventional therapy, open and closed kinematic chain and education can improve symptoms after meniscus injury.

Abstract

Background: Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) is a surgical procedure performed to replace the ligament by grafting tissue that aims to restore stability to the knee joint. Knee function is impaired because the ligament that maintains knee stability is torn. Good knee function is also a reason to return to sports. Decreased muscle strength and endurance can occur in ACL patients, especially those who have undergone ACLR surgery. In order to be able to return to sport is still determined based on time after surgery and improved knee function. This study aimed to determine the relationship of return to sport time and muscle strength with knee function and muscular endurance after ACLR. Methods: The research method used a literature review compiled using secondary data from relevant journals. The search for journal literature was carried out online through PubMed and Google Scholar using the keywords "ACL", "return to sport", "function", "strength", and "endurance". Results: Based on the results of the journal review, it was found that muscle strength and endurance will decrease, which will affect knee function. Knee function, in general, is still one of the factors determining return to sport time. Conclusion: This study concluded that there were possible problems that arise due to ACLR, such as decreased muscle strength and muscle endurance, which could affect knee function and return to sports time.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Cedera anterior cruciate ligamen (ACL) merupakan salah satu kasus yang paling sering dialami oleh individu muda khususnya mereka yang aktif dibidang olahraga, cedera ACL dapat ditangani dengan pemulihan. Rekonstruksi ligamen anterior (ACLR) adalah teknik ortopedi yang paling efektif dan umum diberikan kepada pasien ACL. ACLR akan menyebabkan pasien mengalami penurunan fungsi lutut, pergelangan tangan kaki dan terganggunya keseimbangan dinamis. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan fungsi lutut dan tipe graft terhadap fungsi pergelangan kaki dan keseimbangan dinamis pasca operasi ACLR. Metode : Metode penelitian yang digunakan kajian pustaka menggunakan data dari artikel ilmiah dengan menggunakan 5 buah jurnal yang berkaitan dengan fungsi lutut dan tipe graft terhadap fungsi pergelangan kaki dan keseimbangan dinamis pasca operasi ACLR. Penelusuran literatur dilakukan secara online melalui PubMed dan Google Scholar dengan menggunakan kata kunci “Cedera ACL”, “rekonstruksi ligamen anterior cruciatum”, “fungsi lutut”, “fungsi pergelangan kaki”, “tipe graft”, dan “keseimbangan dinamis”. Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil telaah jurnal diperoleh bahwa setelah rekonstruksi fungsi ACL lutut dan pemilihan tipe graft akan mempengaruhi fungsi pergelangan kaki dan keseimbangan dinamis. Penurunan fungsi lutut menyebabkan terganggunya keseimbangan dinamis, dan pemilihan penggunaan tipe graft dapat menyebabkan kelemahan pada fungsi pergelangan tangan. Simpulan : Berdasarkan beberapa literatur yang telah dikumpulkan serta pembahasan sebelumnya, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemungkinan adanya beberapa permasalahan yang muncul akibat ACLR seperti menurunnya kekuatan otot yang dapat mempengaruhi fungsi lutut serta terganggunya keseimbangan dinamis dan pemilihan tipe graft yang menyebabkan fungsi pergelangan kaki melemah. Kata Kunci : Cedera ACL, rekonstruksi ligamen anterior, fungsi lutut, fungsi pergelangan kaki, type graft, dan keseimbangan dinamis.

Abstract

Peran televisi lokal dalam industri media adalah memberikan informasi dan hiburan kepada audiens lokal. Namun, televisi lokal juga menghadapi beberapa tantangan antara lain: Persaingan dari televisi nasional dan internasional dalam hal jumlah penonton dan iklan, perubahan pola konsumsi media, biaya produksi dan distribusi yang cukup besar bagi stasiun televisi, persoalan regulasi dan lisensi yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah dan memiliki lisensi yang sah untuk beroperasi, dan televisi lokal harus mampu mengembangkan konten yang menarik dan relevan untuk menarik perhatian penonton dan mempertahankan keberlangsungan bisnis. Rumusan masalah meliputi proses produksi siaran program “Kabar Pacitan” di JTV Pacitan mulai dari proses pra produksi, produksi hingga pasca produksi. Serta menganalisa kendala yang ditemui dan solusi yang dilakukan pihak manajemen dalam mengatasi kendala pada saat proses produksi siaran program “Kabar Pacitan”. Hasil dari penelitian ini peneliti menemukan bahwa siaran program “Kabar Pacitan” memiliki beberapa tahapan sama seperti pada program televisi lain dalam proses produksinya, adapun tahapan-tahapannya dimulai dari pra produksi : meliputi 1) Tahapan pra Produksi seperti rapat proyeksi secara santai baik secara langsung maupun melalui aplikasi WhatsApp, persiapan matang wartawan dalam pencarian berita. 2) Tahapan produksi meliputi tahap editing yang dilakukan oleh editor secara online dengan teknik digital, dan yang terakhir yaitu 3) Tahapan pasca produksi yaitu mencakup proses persiapan menuju siaran hingga penayangan berita. Hambatan yang sering dialami oleh wartawan dalam pencarian berita lapangan yaitu faktor cuaca yang tidak mendukung, selain itu juga terjadi hambatan akibat jaringan yang tidak stabil, peristiwa kecelakaan yang tidak selalu terjadi sehingga perlu alternatif berita ringan (features).

Abstract

Elderly individuals undergo various changes in their social, mental, physical, and body functional aspects. Workers in the agricultural sector, especially in areas like Takmung Village, frequently engage in activities that require prolonged use of the knees. This can increase the risk of knee osteoarthritis and injuries, especially during actions such as kneeling, squatting, or standing for extended periods while working. As a result, many farmers in Takmung Village experience discomfort and pain in their knees. Therefore, the community service activity aims to identify the characteristics of the elderly and enhance knowledge and understanding related to the prevention and management of ACL injuries and knee osteoarthritis. The community service activity was conducted from June to August 2023 at the Banjar Lepang Meeting Hall in Takmung Village, Klungkung Regency, and was attended by 54 productive elderly individuals. The activities began with planning, permit management, coordination meetings, training preparation, socialization implementation, health examinations, and pre-test and post-test evaluations. Out of the 54 elderly participants, 53 showed increased knowledge through pre-test and post-test assessments, while only one experienced a decrease. The impact of the socialization activities resulted in improved knowledge among the elderly regarding methods to prevent ACL injuries and knee osteoarthritis. They also gained awareness of suitable physical exercises to prevent and alleviate symptoms associated with ACL injuries and knee osteoarthritis conditions.
