Abstract

High discipline and hard work of the crew determine whether a task or responsibility is carried out properly, so that work accidents on board can be prevented as early as possible and the safety of the ship, crew and cargo is guaranteed. The purpose of this study is (1) to determine how discipline affects work accidents of crew in KM. Lawit, (2) to find out how the influence of competence on work accidents of Crew in KM. Lawit, (3) to find out how the influence of discipline and competence together on work accidents of Crew in KM. Lawit. This research includes field research or field research. Research place in KM. Lawit whose ship docked at Semarang Port. The data collection method uses Questionnaires/questionnaires, Documentation Sheets, Observation Sheets or Observations. The results of the study showed: (1) Discipline has a significant influence on the work accidents of ship crews in KM. Lawit, (2) there is an influence of crew competence on Work Accidents in Crew in KM. Lawit, (3) together there is an influence of discipline and competence on the work accidents of Crew in KM. Lawit.

Abstract

Ulee Lheue Crossing Port is one of the ports in Aceh Province, which serves the Ulee Lheue – Balohan , Ulee Lheue - Serapung, Ulee Lheue - Lamteng. The stability or balance of the ship is important for the safety and security of the ship. Vessels loaded with excessive vehicles and goods endanger service users. This study aims to: 1) Find out the suitability of vehicle transportation procedures and 2) Know the need for the number of fastening tools. The method of collecting data by direct means of spaciousness is by measuring the distance between vehicles, loading the conditions of vehicle placement. The analysis that will be used is guided by PM Number 115 of 2016 concerning Procedures for Transportation of Vehicles on Ships and PM Number 30 of 2016 concerning Vehicle Binding Obligations on Crossing Transport Ships. The results of the analysis show that: 1) The placement of vehicles on board the ship is not in accordance with applicable regulations 2) The suitability of the distance between the sides of the vehicle on board the ship is not in accordance with the applicable Regulations 3) There is no fastening on board the ship that is in the row of bow, middle, stern 4.) The fastening tools on the ulee Lheue – Balohan track boat were insufficient as analyzed. The advice given by the author is that it is necessary to socialize by related parties regarding the implementation of binding policies and transportation procedures contained in PM 115 of 2016 and PM 30 of 2016 To operators, service providers, and Port supervisory officers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja SDM PT. Barito Prima Kalimantan tengah baik secara langsung masupun tidak langsung. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai yang bekerja di PT.Borneo Prima sebanyak 250 orang. Sampel yang digunakan adalah pegawai dengan jumlah 73 responden, dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling. Sumber data yang digunakan data primer, dengan metode pengumpulan data kuesioner. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi dan uji validitas. Hasil analisis penelitian diperoleh motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja SDM, dan disiplin kerja dan signifikan terhadap kinerja SDM.

Abstract

Evaluasi Standar Pelayanan Minimal Penumpang merupakan hal yang sangat penting dilaksanakan guna menunjang kepastian dalam memberikan pelayanan yang sebaik-baiknya kepada masyarakat pengguna jasa angkutan penyeberangan yang aman, nyaman, tertib dan lancar serta sesuai dengan daya jangkau masyarakat .Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Standar Pelayanan Minimal Penumpang di atas Kapal KMP Dharma Ferry 2 Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian kuantitatif bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesesuaian pelayanan angkutan penyeberangan dan untuk mengetahui aspek apa saja yang harus di tingkatkan pada pelayanan penumpang,pemuatan kendaraan dan pengoperasian kapal agar sesuai Peraturan Menteri Perhubungan Republik Indonesia nomor 62 Tahun 2019 Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tingkat kesesuaian pada pelayanan penumpang 63,1%,pelayanan pemuatan kendaraan 71,4% dan pelayanan operasional kapal 75%,sehingga pelayanan KMP.Dharma Ferry 2 tidak memenuhi Standar Pelayanan Minimal. Aspek yang harus ditingkatkan agar memenuhi Standar Pelayanan Minimal yaitu:(1)Keamanan,kemudahan,kesetaraan pada pelayanan penumpang kemudahan akses penumpang pada pelayanan pemuatan dan (3) Keteraturan jadwal operasional kapal

Abstract

Bungus Bay Ferry Port is a very important commercial port to connect the city of Padang with the Mentawai Islands via waterways. The ticket purchase process at Bungus Bay Ferry Port still uses a manual system, by queuing and waiting for a long time at the port counter, making it difficult for service users because there is no e-ticketing application or cashless method. This study aims to analyze the readiness of the perception of service users and port organizers if the use of the e-ticketing application is implemented in purchasing tickets at Bungus Bay Ferry Port, West Sumatra Province. This study uses a quantitative approach research type with analysis using a questionnaire method in the form of distributing digital questionnaires/google forms and interview methods as data collection tools and direct observation methods in the field. Based on the perception of service users and port organizers, the results of the readiness analysis were obtained, namely with a percentage of 84.8% of service users and 87.5% of port organizers having readiness in using the e-ticketing application at the Teluk Bungus Ferry Port. For this reason, service users should start preparing to learn more and seek information about online ticket reservations so that when implemented they can easily access online ticket reservations independently. For Port Organizers, they should start preparing everything, starting from IT infrastructure and networks as well as an understanding of online ticket reservations.

Abstract

The Banjaraya River Port is a link between the land transportation network of Banjarmasin City to Barito Kuala Regency which is separated by the Barito River. Currently, the condition of the Banjaraya River Port is not optimal due to a contract for 20 years, written in the lease agreement number 511/228/DPP/2004 dated September 10, 2004 between the Banjarmasin City Government and the Banjaraya Main Market Traders. This is contrary to the ideal condition of river and lake ports as stated in the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Number PM 40 of 2022 and the Decree of the Directorate General of Land Transportation Number SK.242/HK.104/DRJD/2010. The land facilities currently available at the Banjaraya River Port are the Banjaraya Terminal Building which functions as an administrative office, parking lot, canteen, ticket counter that has not been managed optimally, a traffic park and a post building that is not functioning and there is a market on the main road to the Banjaraya River Port. The research method used is mixed research by combining two methods, namely qualitative methods and quantitative methods. Based on the results of the analysis, the area needed for the terminal building is 283.2 m2 where there are 5 (five) rooms, namely the passenger waiting room (158.4 m2), canteen (23.76 m2), administration room (23.76 m2), utility room (51.48 m2) and public space (25.74 m2), it is necessary to reallocate passenger ticket counters before the waiting room and vehicles before the parking lot is ready to load. Dividing the functions of the available parking lot into a ready-to-load parking lot (48.6 m2) and a shuttle parking lot (118 m2). As well as managing the circulation of passengers and vehicles from the gate to the exit of the Banjaraya River Port using signs and markings.

Abstract

In this study, the researcher used a quantitative descriptive research method. This study aims to determine the effect of the variables studied, namely Ship to Ship (STS) Operational Efficiency and Weather Factors on the Smoothness of Cargo Distribution at PT. Ciomas Ariya Berkah. This research was conducted on a ship owned by the stevedoring company PT. Ciomas Ariya Berkah headquartered at Jl. Lingkar Selatan KM. 8.5 Link. Jerenong RT. 015 RW. 005 Kel. Lebak Denok Kec. Citangkil, Cilegon-Banten. While the effective research time took place from January to March 2025. The results of statistical testing with multiple linear regression equations obtained that partially the Ship to Ship (STS) operational efficiency variable on the smoothness of cargo distribution at PT. Ciomas Ariya Berkah. The results of statistical testing with multiple linear regression equations obtained that partially the weather factor variable on the smoothness of cargo distribution at PT. Ciomas Ariya Berkah. The results of statistical testing with multiple linear regression equations obtained that partially the weather factor variable on the smoothness of cargo distribution at PT. Ciomas Ariya Berkah. Where indicated by a significance value of 0.046.

Abstract

The development of the utilization of electrical energy sourced from the sun is currently experiencing very rapid development. The use of electrical energy sourced from the sun is not only used for industrial generation, currently the transportation industry also utilizes electrical energy sourced from the sun for propulsion and domestic needs. This study discusses the potential of electrical energy that can be generated by solar PV with a capacity of 2x550 Wp which will be implemented on cadet training ships. Solar irradiance is the most important component for the process of generating electrical energy, where later the irradiance value will become electrical energy using solar PV media. The irradiance value is obtained from a web application called solarglobalatlas which already has big data about the irradiation value in various places. This study took irradiation values in the coordinates area -2.953161°, 104.886022° (-02°57'11", 104°53'10") South Sumatra. The data was taken for 12 months to ensure that the data radiation experienced two seasons according to the characteristics of the area. The best irradiance values occur at 11.00 am – 01.00 pm. The results of the discussion show that the annual electrical energy that can be generated by solar PV with a capacity of 2x550 Wp using the monocrystalline PV type is 1,338.2 kWh with the largest electricity production peak occurring in August of 114.4 kWh. Meanwhile, the smallest production of electrical energy occurred in February at 87.2 kWh.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to analyze how much influence leadership has on the performance of Shipping Polytechnic employees through self-efficacy, (2) analyze how big the influence of organizational learning is on the performance of Shipping Polytechnic employees through self-efficacy, and (3) analyze how big the influence of organizational culture on the performance of Shipping Polytechnic employees through self-efficacy. This research uses a multivariate Structural Equation Model (SEM) technique. The software used to process this data is AMOS 22 and the SPSS program as a descriptive statistical measurement tool. The results of this research are (1) Things that can be paid attention to include one dimension of leadership, namely "influencing power" and the dimension of self-efficacy, namely "completing tasks". To improve performance, leaders can combine power in influencing subordinates at work and leaders can help employees in completing tasks. (2) The organizational learning dimension that has the highest value is "Share Vision", this can be combined with the self-efficacy dimension, namely "completing tasks". To improve employee performance at the Banten Shipping Polytechnic and Barombong Shipping Polytechnic, you can use these two approaches by paying more attention to the division of vision in practice in the field. (3) To improve employee performance, leaders can pay attention to the dimension of "shared norms" combined with "completing tasks" to help facilitate every employee activity in the workplace. It is necessary to form and apply general norms that have previously been mutually agreed upon.

Abstract

Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Batu Ampar di Batam mengalami pencemaran perairan yang signifikan akibat berbagai aktivitas maritim dan industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sumber pencemaran, termasuk limbah industri, buangan kapal, dan limbah domestik, serta mengevaluasi dampaknya terhadap ekosistem laut. Data diperoleh melalui survei lapangan dengan pengambilan sampel air selama periode tiga bulan di berbagai titik strategis di sekitar pelabuhan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi logam berat seperti timbal (Pb), merkuri (Hg), dan kadmium (Cd) melebihi ambang batas nasional. Peningkatan volume minyak tumpah, air limbah, dan sampah padat dari kapal turut memperburuk kualitas air. Penerapan yang lebih ketat dari peraturan MARPOL 73/78 dan Peraturan Menteri Perhubungan diperlukan untuk mengurangi pencemaran. Rekomendasi meliputi peningkatan pengawasan, penerapan teknologi ramah lingkungan, dan edukasi masyarakat. Implementasi tindakan mitigasi yang efektif diharapkan dapat memulihkan kualitas air dan ekosistem laut di Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Batu Ampar.
