Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi pengaruh kompensasi, disiplin kerja dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman dengan Kepuasan Kerja sebagai variabel Intervening. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah dengan teknik pengambilan sampel dari populasi kinerja pegawai Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman yang berjumlah 218 orang, yang terdiri dari 98 (sembilan puluh delapan) orang sebagai pegawai ASN dan 120 (seratus dua puluh) orang sebagai pegawai non ASN, dari jumlah populasi, sampel yang di ambil pada penelitian ini adalah 98 orang atau pegawai ASN. Data primer di peroleh dari kuesioner yang di bagikan ke pegawai ASN yang berjumlah 98 Orang. Analisis Data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Smart PLS Versi 4.0.1.6 dengan metode Structural Evaluation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS).  Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kompensasi terhadap kepuasan kerja pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (2) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara disiplin kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (3) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (4) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (5) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (6) Terdapat pengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan antara lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (7) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (8) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (9) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (10) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (11) variabel kompensasi, disiplin kerja, lingkungan kerja berkontribusi sebesar 87,3 % terhadap kinerja pegawai sisanya di pengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian. Abstract

The Ministry of Industry continues to explore the potential of the batik industry, particularly in West Java, with the aim of enhancing competitiveness and the welfare of batik and weaving artisans. In West Java alone, there are 27 districts and cities actively producing batik with a variety of motifs, employing around 4,000 batik artisans. According to the Minister of Industry, Saleh Husin, West Java boasts a rich array of textile creations, including batik and weaving, influenced by its agrarian and industrial culture which fosters openness and dynamism among its people. This increasing innovation and preservation of West Javanese batik will contribute to its greater recognition. The batik from West Java is highly diverse, featuring bright and basic colors, with each motif and color carrying its own significance. Despite these attributes, in 2021, the performance of the Traditional Kasumedangan Batik SMEs in West Java was relatively low, failing to rank among the top ten textile exporters in Indonesia. The underperformance of these SMEs can be attributed to ineffective strategic management, which has been hindered by external environmental factors, inadequate company resources, and ineffective competitive strategies, ultimately resulting in very low business performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and explain the effect of the relationship between human resource management practices and employee engagement on employee performance through organizational commitment as a mediator variable. The approach used in this study uses quantitative research methods. The sampling technique used a random sample with a total of population 143 employees. Active data in this study was analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS 3.0 software on a computer. The results in this study reveal a significant positive relationship between human resource management practices and employee engagement through organizational commitment on employee performance. Implications for this study was to obtain empirical evidence about the factors that influence employee performance, such as human resource management/HRM practices, employee engagement and organizational commitment. So that the IT Division Project Click Indomaret can improve and improve organizational commitment to get higher employee performance and impact on the company to achieve its goals.

Abstract

Cases of corruption that are increasingly rife in the procurement of goods and services have prompted the government to issue a new policy on the use of the e-procurement system. This system is considered capable of overcoming transparency problems so that it is expected to be able to overcome problems in the procurement of goods and services, so that by implementing this system it is necessary to conduct research on the effectiveness of the implementation of the e-procurement system. This research aimed to determine the effect of system and information quality on the successful use of e-procurement at the Universitas Terbuka, with ease of use as a mediating variable. 357 internal users of the e-procurement system made up the population, and 107 people were selected as a sample based on their strata. Additionally, Smart PLS (Partial Least Square) version 4 is the analytical technique employed. The research results show that there is a significant positive influence between system quality and the success of using e-procurement. Moreover, system and information quality had a positive and significant effect on the ease of use. Information quality did not affect the successful use of e-procurement, while system quality had a positive and significant effect through the ease-of-use mediation variable. Information quality also had a positive and significant effect on the successful use of the e-procurement system through the ease-of-use mediation variable.

Abstract

This study examines and determines the effect of corporate social responsibility disclosure and firm size on earnings management with profitability as an intervening variable in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study are banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2021 period, a total of 43 banking companies. The sampling technique used in this study used purposive sampling, so the research data obtained were 11 banks. The data source used in this study is secondary data in the form of annual financial statements of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for 2019-2021. The analytical method consists of descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test) and testing all hypotheses through multiple linear regression analysis, path analysis, t-test and coefficient of determination test. The results show that CSR disclosure has a positive and insignificant effect on earnings management in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Firm size negatively and significantly impacts earnings management in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Profitability positively and substantially affects earnings management in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. CSR disclosure has a positive and insignificant impact on banking companies' profitability on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Firm size positively and significantly affects profitability in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Profitability cannot influence CSR disclosure and company size on earnings management in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

The study was conducted to analyze the influence of Motivation and Discipline on PT. XYZ’s Employees Performance. The analysis methods used in this study are quantitative research and multiple linear analysis on SPSS. Within this research, the researcher used the Slovin formula to determine total numbers of respondents, from a total of 451 employees of PT. XYZ, 82 of total employees are eligible to participate as respondents. The result of this research showed that there is a positive influence and significant effect between Motivation and Discipline on Employees Performance whether simultaneously and or partially. Furthermore, the Discipline variable has the strongest influence on Employee Performance rather than Motivation variable. Therefore, the researcher strongly suggests PT. XYZ management to be more attentive to their employees’ Motivation in order to enhance Employees Performance.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has encouraged SMEs to adopt social media as part of their marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement and expand market reach. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing social media adoption by Radiant Buket SME using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model. The key variables examined include performance expectancy (PE), effort expectancy (EE), social influence (SI), and facilitating conditions (FC), which are hypothesized to affect behavioral intention (BI) and actual use behavior (UB) of social media. Radiant Buket’s marketing strategy involves the use of platforms such as Instagram and TikTok for product promotion, direct customer interaction, and the dissemination of information and testimonials through visual content. The findings show that PE and SI have a positive influence on BI, indicating that perceived usefulness and social encouragement drive the intention to adopt social media. Although EE has a negative effect, it still significantly influences BI, suggesting that users are willing to adopt social media despite perceiving it as requiring more effort. Additionally, FC positively affects UB, and BI significantly impacts UB, indicating that strong intention indeed leads to actual usage behavior. These findings offer practical insights for Radiant Buket in strengthening its digital marketing strategy, particularly through customer-oriented promotional content, enhanced two-way interaction on social media, and the optimization of support resources such as staff training and digital infrastructure. Theoretically, this study enriches the literature on technology adoption in the context of Indonesian SMEs, particularly in applying the UTAUT model within digital marketing. It also highlights the importance of a data-driven approach in developing sustainable and effective social media marketing strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengembangan kompetensi terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan di organisasi jasa. Pengembangan kompetensi dianggap sebagai salah satu strategi penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia sehingga dapat memberikan kontribusi optimal terhadap pencapaian tujuan organisasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei, melibatkan 120 responden karyawan dari berbagai departemen dalam sebuah perusahaan jasa di sektor perhotelan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang mengukur tingkat pengembangan kompetensi, kepuasan kerja, dan kinerja karyawan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier berganda untuk menguji pengaruh pengembangan kompetensi terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kompetensi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya investasi dalam pengembangan kompetensi sebagai upaya strategis untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan produktivitas karyawan di organisasi jasa. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi manajemen SDM dalam merancang program pengembangan kompetensi yang efektif serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

Investasi Langsung Asing (Foreign Direct Investment atau FDI) telah dianggap sebagai salah satu strategi penting dalam pembangunan. FDI tidak hanya memberikan efek sebagai transfer modal tetapi juga memiliki dampak penting dalam meningkatkan perekonomian tuan rumah. FDI diharapkan mampu memberikan tranfer teknologi berupa transfer keahlian bagi tenaga kerja. Tentu saja hal ini akan memberikan imbas yang baik pada kualitas dan penyerapan tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh antara Foreign Direct Investment dan unemployment rate di Indonesia dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data tahunan yang mencakup periode 1990-2020. Dengan menggunakan Model Vector Error Correction (VECM), penelitian ini memungkinkan untuk melihat dampak jangka pendek dan jangka panjang. Hasil pengujian membuktikan bahwa pengaruh antara variabel-variabel tersebut hanya terlihat dalam jangka panjang. Kata Kunci: Foreign Direct Investment, Tingkat Pengangguran, Inflasi dan Metode VECM

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran gender dalam pengembangan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kota Padang. Kota Padang memiliki sejumlah UMKM yang dimiliki baik oleh perempuan maupun laki-laki, dan penelitian ini fokus pada perbedaan, tantangan, dan peluang yang dihadapi kedua jenis UMKM. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah campuran (mixed methods), menggabungkan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui survei, wawancara, dan observasi terhadap UMKM perempuan dan laki-laki di berbagai sektor ekonomi. Data sekunder juga dianalisis untuk memberikan konteks yang lebih luas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan gender memengaruhi akses terhadap sumber daya dan dukungan, termasuk modal, pelatihan, dan jaringan bisnis. UMKM perempuan seringkali menghadapi hambatan dalam mengakses modal usaha, pelatihan, dan dukungan teknologi. Selain itu, norma sosial dan peran ganda dalam keluarga juga mempengaruhi waktu dan energi yang dapat diberikan oleh perempuan untuk bisnis mereka. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa UMKM perempuan telah mengambil inisiatif dalam mengadopsi teknologi digital dan strategi pemasaran online untuk memperluas pasar mereka. Mereka juga mencari dukungan dari organisasi non-pemerintah dan pemerintah dalam bentuk pelatihan dan bantuan keuanganKata Kunci: Gender, UMKM, Mix methods, Kota Padang
