Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan bank soal pendidikan kewarganegaraan berbasis HOTS,dengan metode penelitian R&D. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa yang mengikuti matakuliah pendidikan kewarganegaraan semester 1 tahun akademik 2021/2022 di UPT MPK Universitas Sriwijaya. Melalui tahapan studi pendahuluan diperoleh tanggapan rata-rata 83,69% dimana mahasiswa menganggap matakuliah pendidikan kewarganegaraan mudah untuk dipelajari dan soal-soal ujian tergolong mudah diselesaikan. Mahasiswa membutuhkan soal-soal yang mampu melatih keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut tim membuat bank soal pendidikan kewarganegaraan yang kemudian prototypenya di uji validasi dengan hasil uji terakhir yaitu 87,5% dengan katagori baik atau layak diujicobakan. Selanjutnya melakukan uji coba produk one to one dengan hasil 89% dengan katagori sangat baik, tahap small group diproleh hasil 83,3% dengan katagori sangat baik serta tahap field evaluation diperoleh hasil 85% dengan katagori sangat baik. Kemudian N-Gain 0,57 katagori sedang, dengan peningkatan rata-rata nilai pre-posttest adalah 0,17%. Dengan demikian bank soal yang dikembangkan tim valid dan efektif sera memiliki efek potensial dalam melatih keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the effectiveness of learning outcomes of students in class VII D SMPN 51 Palembang in the subject of Pancasila Education, especially the material of Unity in Diversity, through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model by utilizing ICT media. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and evaluation of learning outcomes using Google Form. The results showed that the application of ICT-based PBL was able to increase the active participation of students, improve the learning process, and improve learning outcomes significantly. Learning media such as interactive presentations through Canva and online evaluation based on Google Form make learning more interesting and accessible to students. Based on the evaluation results in cycle II, there was an increase in the class average score which showed the achievement of the success indicator. Thus, the ICT-based PBL model is effectively applied in learning Pancasila Education to encourage active learning, critical thinking, and deeper understanding.

Abstract

The use of learning media has an important role in increasing the enthusiasm and motivation of students. Interesting media can create a learning atmosphere that is more varied and not monotonous. Educational games like Bamboozle can make learning more fun and engaging. This study aims to increase the learning motivation of 31 students in class VII.B through the use of Bamboozle educational games. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK), with data collection techniques in the form of observation and documentation. The obtained data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The results showed that the application of Bamboozle educational games was able to increase students' learning motivation. The effect can be seen from the results in cycle I, which showed a motivation level of 53% in the moderate category  and experienced a significant increase in cycle II to 75% in the high category. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Bamboozle educational games is effective in increasing students' learning motivation.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya inisiatif agar menaikkan motivasi belajar murid dalam mata kuliah Pendidikan Pancasila. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah menganalisis seberapa besar dampak penggunaan sumber belajar Wordwall terhadap minat belajar murid di SMAN 1 Indralaya Utara. Penelitian ini memakai metode kuantitatif, dengan pendekatan eksperimen sebagai dasar analisis. Kelas XI satu ditetapkan sebagai kelompok eksperimen serta kelas XI dua sebagai kelompok kontrol, dengan jumlah siswa 73 orang. Populasi penelitian meliputi seluruh siswa kelas XI yang berjumlah 148 orang. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan pada pertimbangan tertentu, yaitu kelas yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan berbagai teknik, yaitu dokumentasi, penyebaran angket, serta observasi. Dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 27, dilakukan analisis statistik terhadap data berupa uji normalitas, homogenitas, serta uji hipotesis memakai uji Mann-Whitney. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, penerapan media Wordwall memperlihatkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan media Wordwall. Mengingat taraf signifikansi 0,05 lebih kecil dari nilai signifikansi 0,003, maka hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima serta hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Dengan demikian, media Wordwall terbukti berhasil meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between intrapersonal intelligence and learning independence in Pancasila Education among seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 11 Palembang. The research employed a quantitative correlational design involving 76 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using intrapersonal intelligence and learning independence questionnaires supported by classroom observation data. The results show that students’ intrapersonal intelligence is predominantly in the moderate category, while learning independence is classified in the high category. Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis indicates a very strong positive relationship between intrapersonal intelligence and learning independence, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.983 and a significance value of p < 0.001. These findings indicate that strengthening students’ intrapersonal intelligence may contribute to the development of independent learning in Pancasila Education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Scout extracurricular activities on the development of students’ social skill at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara. The social skill referred to in this study include verbal and nonverbal communication, building positive relationships, teamwork, constructive problem-solving, empathy, and effective relationship management. This research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The population of this study consisted of all students participating in Scout activities, totaling 281 students. However, the sample included only 40 students, consisting of Dewan Ambalan members and students who actively participated in Scout activities. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression, which indicated that Scout extracurricular activities have a positive and significant effect on the development of students’ social skill. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.403 or 40.3%, meaning that 40.3% of the development of students’ social skill can be explained by their involvement in Scout extracurricular activities, while the remaining 59.7% is influenced by other factors.These findings indicate that Scout activities, through programs such as semaphore practice, Morse code activities, camping, pioneering (knot-tying), and routine training sessions, contribute to the development of students’ social skill.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the role Pancasila Education teachers in classroom cleanliness competition in enhancing students’ environmental care character at SMP Negeri 2 Gelumbang. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a study method. The informants were selected through purposive sampling, involving five participants. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through credibility, transferability, dependability, and corfirmability tests. In essence, the role of Pancasila Education teachers plays a crucial role in raising student’s awareness of enviromental cleanliness. Good character in students is typically forestered through education, learning, anf and facilities built on sound morals. A well-developed enviromental stewardship will undoubtedly have a positive impact in the future, preventing a dirty and uncomfortable enviroment, especially in the school enviroment. Therefore, The role of Pancasila Education teacher is crucial in instilling an environmentally conscious attitude in students in the classroom and fostering a sense of environmental cleanliness. One way schools foster this environmental stewardship is through classroom cleanliness competitions. These competitions are held regularly once a week. The purpose of the activities is to foster student’s awareness of the school environmentally by maintaining and caring for the enviroment to keep it clean and tidy. This allows the teaching and learning process between teachers and students to be more comfortable and conducive.

Abstract

Civic skills atau keterampilan warga negara merupakan salah satu jenis keterampilan yang harus dimiliki oleh generasi muda dalam menghadapi berbagai permasalahan sosial terutama berbagai permasalahan yang tidak sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Mahasiswa sebagai generasi muda diharapkan mampu memahami bahwa Pancasila merupakan solusi dari berbagai permasalahan sosial yang ada di masyarakat, bangsa, dan negara. Melalui civic skills yang dimiliki para mahasiswa dapat ikut berpartisipasi dalam pemecahan berbagai permasalahan sosial tersebut. Salah satu peningkatan civic skills mahasiswa dapat dilakukan melalui proses pembelajaran di kelas dengan metode yang mampu memfasilitasi terbentuknya civic skills tersebut. Salah satu metode yang disarankan adalah sosiodrama. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui metode pembelajaran sosiodrama mampu meningkatkan civic skills mahasiswa baik pada indikator keterampilan intelektual maupun partisipasinya.   Civic skills are one type of skill that the younger generation must have in dealing with various social problems, especially various problems that are not in accordance with the values of Pancasila. Students as the younger generation are expected to be able to understand that Pancasila is a solution to various social problems that exist in society, nation and state. Through civic skills, students can participate in solving various social problems. One way to improve students' citizenship skills can be done through the learning process in the classroom with methods that are able to facilitate the formation of these citizenship skills. One method suggested is sociodrama. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation and documentation. The results of the research show that the sociodrama learning method is able to improve students' civic skills both in terms of intellectual skills and participation.
