The Indonesian government has determined that English is a compulsory subject in junior high schools, senior high schools, and universities. English in junior high school includes four mandatory skills: listening, reading, speaking, and writing. In the teaching process, teachers are expected to be perfect. The teacher must be "perfect"; it means they have to be active, creative, innovative, interesting, and achievers so that students can focus on the lessons in class. However, most students have difficulty learning English, especially reading or understanding texts. This research was conducted with the aim of describing the Teacher's Perspective in Teaching Reading Comprehension Using a Reciprocal Strategy. This research was conducted at SMPN 1 Jabon using qualitative methods, data obtained from interviews and observations. The subject in this study is an English teacher at SMPN 1 Jabon. The results of this study indicate that mastery of good learning strategies is an important component of education in supporting the professional duties of teachers as educators. Teachers use reciprocal teaching as a strategy in their learning. Reciprocal strategies can improve students' reading comprehension because students know the essence of what they read globally. In addition, the teacher can also assist students in understanding the meaning contained in the reading text material that has been explained during the reading class.

Problems with partners related to children's reading interest and literacy are very complex, therefore its implementation cannot be separated from all parties who must work together and work together, especially parents and teachers. The purpose of implementing science and technology for the community for KB teachers of TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal (ABA) is to improve the quality and potential and literacy thinking skills so that students have the provision of soft skills and hard skills in growing children's love of reading. The program that will be implemented is focused on aspects of developing the quality of early childhood teachers through improvement and improvement in the field of teaching so that it can foster a child's love of reading. In its delivery, an effective method is needed in accordance with the child's development. Early childhood, especially Kindergarten (TK) can be introduced to the Read Aloud method which generally means reading stories aloud. In a complex way, this method reads stories in picture books or in digital children's stories applications in a loud voice, so that it can help focus attention and raise questions and design discussions. The Read Aloud method combines elements of images and sounds that are sure to be interesting for children, making it easier for teachers to stimulate speaking or language skills in children. The implementation of this community service was carried out in April 2020, at the KB TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Sambiroto. The stages in this training activity include basic knowledge about reading stories aloud (Read Aloud method), training in reading aloud (Read Aloud) and then continuing with the use of digital libraries for early childhood. With the Read Aloud training and the use of digital libraries for KB Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten teachers, it is hoped that it can be useful for teachers to improve teaching, increase teaching materials, and as an effort to fix and improve the quality of teaching staff, and infrastructure in KB Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten. (ABA) Sidoarjo district.

Cooperative Learning is a teaching arrangement that refers to small, heterogeneous groups of students working together to achieve a common goal (Kagan, 1994). This research is done to know the response of students used cooperative learning in reading comprehension. The data of this study analyzed qualitatively without applying statistical calculations. The subject of the study were the students of the first semester in Midwifery faculty of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo . There researcher used one class which consist 29 students. The students gave the positive responses and dominantly agreed to the implementation of cooperative learning type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) in reading comprehension. From the questionnaire, the researcher concludes that are 40% students are agreed, 50% students strongly agree, and 10% less agree  with cooperative learning type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) in reading comprehension. The conclusion is students respond well to cooperative learning model type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) to improve students' reading comprehension. This cooperative learning type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) can be the one of the model to teach reading comprehension.

With the emergence of the Covid-19 outbreak, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology issued Circular Letter number 15 of 2020 which contains about organizing learning from home during the emergency period of COVID-19's spread. That policy makes teaching and learning activities were carried out remotely. Researcher uses kualitatif deskriptif with data collection technique interview. The researcher uses triangulation to check the validity of the data which obtained from several sources. The result of the study shows that some parents are able to know enough about their role as parents in distance learning. It has been described in the indicators of student learning, students who get unsatisfactory learning outcomes can be indicated that the role of parents is low, it can be seen that the role of parents is important in achieving the success of student learning, especially during distance learning.

Keterampilan membaca menjadi dasar utama dalam belajar. Didalam penelitian ini pengambilan sampel dengan teknik non probability yang berjumlah 20 siswa sesuai dengan data yang diambil oleh peneliti. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes pre tes dan post tes. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis desain One Grup Pre-test-posttest Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan pengolahan data kuantitatif. Populasi yang dijadikan objek pada penelitian ini sebanyak 20 siswa kelas I SD Nurul Hikam. Berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan rumus N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa hasil rata-rata dari Pre-test adalah 72 dan hasil rata-rata nilai post-test adalah 87. Siswa kelas I di SD Nurul Hikam termasuk kriteria tertinggi yaitu 0,87 dalam keterampilan membaca. Berdasarkan olah data dari Uji Eta Squared mendapatkan 0,847 pada pre tes dan pos tes 0,957. Hasil dari uji paired sample pre test sig. (2-tailed) di penelitian yaitu 0,000 maka pengambilan keputusan sesuai dengan uji t-test apabila nilai sig.(2 -tailed) di bawah 0,05 maka adanya kenaikan atau pengaruh yang sangat bermakna terhadap variabel penelitian. Dapat disimpulkan penggunaan Media Pop Up Book terhadap keterampilan membaca permulaan peserta didik di SD Islam Nurul Hikam sangat berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan membaca permulaan.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh penting seorang pendidik berupaya untuk penguatan pendidikan karakter disiplin dan sopan santun pasca pandemi Covid-19 pada peserta didik pada saat usia dini dengan menerapkan nilai-nilai yang terkadung dalam pendidikan karakter sehingga nantinya akan menjadikan peserta didik berjiwa karakter sejalan dengan memberikan aturan-aturan atau sanksi jika ada yang melakukan pelanggaran terhadap suatu aturan yang telah diterapkan dengan itu peserta didik akan mendapatkan efek jera untuk tidak mengulangi kembali yang akan nantinya akan menjadikan peserta didik patuh terhadap suatu peraturan dan akan membentuk karakter siswa menjadi lebih baik dari sebelumnya. Melalui penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya guru dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter disiplin dan sopan santun pasca pandemi Covid-19 pada peserta didik di sekolah SD Negeri Kalisampurno 1 Tanggulangin. Upaya guru bisa dikatakan baik dalam penguatan karakter didiplin dan sopan santun. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode study kasus pendekatan deskriptif . Dapat disimpulkan bahwa upaya guru dalam penguatan karakter disiplin dan sopan santun pasca Covid-19 pada kelas V di SDN Kalisampurno 1 Tanggulangin Sidoarjo terlaksana dengan baik

Education is the basis for advancing a Country. In order to achieve a successful education system, therefore educators are expected to be able to improve the quality of educators who are able to educate by using various methods, and strategies and also present innovations prioritizing the use of technology. A problem found in the research is the thematic learning process, students seem to lack enthusiasm and do not pay attention to the teacher in following the learning process. In an era that is increasingly advanced in civilization, it also has an effect on the development of a field, including in the field of education. The existence of learning support media by utilizing technological advances will facilitate students in the learning process. One of the learning media used is power point learning media. The selection of the right learning media will have a good effect on student learning results, including thematic learning. The purpose of the research was to witness the use of digital learning media with the help of power points in thematic learning and to find out the student's response to the use of thematic learning media in grade 4 of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Krian. The research method used is qualitative, which is an elaboration method that describes a phenomenon that occurs in the field in a real way and as it is. Data collection instruments were carried out, including observations, interviews, and documentation at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Krian. The results of the research analysis that has been carried out refer to 4 aspects. As for the use of PowerPoint media in thematic subjects at SD Muhammadiyah Krian, it can be concluded in its implementation, the use of PowerPoint media in thematic learning at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Krian can attract and increase student motivation n in the learning delivered. This study aims to determine the effect of comic strip media on the ability to write stories for third-grade students at a private Islamic school in Porong. This research uses quantitative research. sampling with non-probability techniques to obtain 1 class, namely class III, following the data taken by the researchers. The data collection technique used the test method to find out the results of writing essays using a pre-test and post-test to find out how much influence the use of comic strip media had on the ability to write essays. In this study, the pre-experimental design was used with the one-group pretest-posttest design. The population that became the object of this research was 20 third-grade students of a private Islamic school in Porong. Based on data analysis using the N-Gain formula, it shows that the average result of the pre-test is 67.7, and the average result of the post-test score is 85.55. Based on data processing from the Eta Squared test, it was 0.871 in the pre-test and 0.882 in the post-test. If t 0.14 indicates that this comic strip medium has a significant influence, the results of the paired sample pre-test sig. (2-tailed) in the study are.000, then the decision-making is following the t-test. If the value of sig. (2-tailed) is below 0.05, then there is an increase or a very significant effect on the research variables. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of comic strip media on the ability to write stories by third-grade students greatly affects their writing ability of students.

The purpose of this study was to describe students' responses to the use of animated videos in listening to fairy tales for class II at SDN Bringinbendo 2, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency. The researcher confirms that research on using animated video media in learning Indonesian on students' listening skills can be interested and active, So. Teachers must use media in order to students don't feel bored and easily understand, therefore when learning teachers don't only use the lecture method.Teachers must also be innovative in using media to be used during learning so that it can be in accordance with the desired learning, and students can also maximize learning, students are easy teachers who still tell fairy tales without using other media except thematic books that contain fairy tales "Ingenuity Grows Kindness” by reading it directly to students, and the teacher did not have time to make media because there was a lot of work. This has often been used so that students feel bored and mediocre in learning fairy tales. There are some students who do not listen because students feel bored and less interesting. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with a total of 10 students participating. This type of research uses case studies. This data collection by observation, questionnaires and interviews. Data collection techniques in this study used technical triangulation, data analysis used data reduction, data forms and conclusions. The findings show that animated videos are very suitable for listening to fairy tales because they make it easier for students to remember stories, knowing the story's message and animated videos make students more active, interested and enthusiastic. This media is very helpful for them in listening to fairy tales, and in this animated video there are animated images that can move and have sound.

Students' difficulties in using good and correct Indonesian became the inspiration for this research. This can be seen from the use of incorrect words, weak phrases, and typos when writing simple narrative essays. The purpose of this research is to find out how the use of photovoice media has an impact on the writing ability of third grade elementary school children. One Group Pretest-Posttest Design was used in conducting this research as an experimental research approach. Twenty third grade students at SDN Krembung 1 were included in the research sample which was taken through saturated sampling. Writing skills assessment (before and after the test) and activity documentation were used as the data collection approach, together with observation as the main source of information. The data were examined using the normality test, and a Paired Sample T-Test was performed because the data were found to be regularly distributed. The findings of the Paired Sample T-Test show that Sig. (2-Tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05. It can be determined that the use of photovoice media has a major impact on the writing skills of grade 3 students at SDN Krembung 1.
