Abstract

This research aims to develop an employee performance monitoring information system that utilizes a web-based interactive dashboard to enhance decision-making and managerial oversight. In many organizations, traditional performance evaluation methods are often time-consuming, static, and lack real-time insight, resulting in inefficiencies in performance tracking. To address these challenges, the proposed system is designed to provide dynamic visualization of key performance indicators (KPIs), attendance records, task completion rates, and other critical metrics through an interactive and user-friendly dashboard interface. The development process follows the Waterfall methodology, encompassing stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment. The system was built using PHP and JavaScript for front-end interactivity, with a MySQL database to manage data storage. The dashboard includes various visual tools such as graphs, charts, and progress bars to facilitate real-time monitoring and performance analysis. Testing results indicate that the system performs effectively, offering accurate and timely information that supports employee evaluation and organizational planning. User feedback also reveals a high level of satisfaction due to the dashboard's ease of use and responsiveness. Overall, the implementation of this web-based performance monitoring system is expected to improve transparency, accountability, and productivity within the organization.

Abstract

Penggunaan energi listrik yang tidak efisien pada industri skala kecil sering menimbulkan pemborosan biaya operasional dan berpotensi mengganggu kontinuitas produksi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu sistem yang mampu memantau konsumsi beban listrik secara real-time, sederhana, dan terjangkau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pemantauan beban listrik menggunakan sensor arus berbasis mikrokontroler Arduino yang diintegrasikan dengan modul komunikasi dan antarmuka visual. Metode pengembangan dilakukan melalui tahap perancangan perangkat keras, pemrograman perangkat lunak, serta pengujian sistem dengan berbagai variasi beban listrik. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu membaca arus listrik dengan tingkat akurasi di atas 95%, serta menampilkan data konsumsi daya secara real-time pada layar LCD/monitor maupun melalui perangkat digital. Sistem ini terbukti dapat membantu pelaku industri skala kecil dalam melakukan efisiensi energi, mendeteksi penggunaan daya berlebih, serta meminimalkan risiko kerusakan peralatan akibat kelebihan beban listrik. Dengan demikian, pengembangan sistem ini dapat menjadi solusi alternatif pemantauan energi yang ekonomis, praktis, dan aplikatif bagi sektor industri kecil.

Abstract

Perkembangan sistem tenaga listrik menuju konsep smart-grid terdesentralisasi menghadirkan tantangan baru dalam menjaga stabilitas tegangan dan frekuensi akibat meningkatnya penetrasi sumber energi terdistribusi yang bersifat intermiten dan non-linier. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model matematis dinamik terpadu untuk menganalisis stabilitas jaringan distribusi smart-grid terdesentralisasi serta mengevaluasi respons sistem melalui simulasi berbasis waktu. Model diformulasikan dalam bentuk state-space non-linier yang merepresentasikan interaksi antara pembangkit berbasis inverter, beban dinamis, penyimpanan energi, serta mekanisme kontrol droop lokal. Simulasi dilakukan pada berbagai skenario operasi, meliputi fluktuasi beban, gangguan kehilangan unit pembangkit, perubahan topologi jaringan, dan peningkatan penetrasi energi terbarukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mempertahankan kestabilan pada penetrasi DER menengah hingga tinggi dengan catatan adanya optimasi parameter kontrol dan koordinasi antar unit terdesentralisasi. Implementasi kontrol adaptif dan integrasi penyimpanan energi terbukti meningkatkan redaman osilasi, memperbaiki respons frekuensi, serta memperpendek waktu pemulihan sistem pasca gangguan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam penyediaan kerangka analisis stabilitas yang komprehensif untuk perancangan dan implementasi pengendalian smart-grid modern, khususnya pada jaringan distribusi dengan dominasi sumber energi terdistribusi.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan energi terbarukan memerlukan sistem konversi daya yang mampu menghasilkan tegangan keluaran stabil dan efisien di tengah karakteristik sumber energi yang bersifat fluktuatif. Salah satu solusi yang dikembangkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah penggunaan konverter DC–DC multi-tahap, yang mengombinasikan beberapa tahapan konversi guna memperluas rentang pengaturan tegangan dan meningkatkan kinerja sistem. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kinerja dan efisiensi konverter DC–DC multi-tahap pada aplikasi energi terbarukan melalui pendekatan simulasi pemodelan sistem tenaga listrik. Model konverter dirancang dengan konfigurasi bertingkat dan diuji pada berbagai variasi tegangan masukan serta perubahan beban untuk mengevaluasi stabilitas tegangan keluaran, efisiensi konversi daya, respons dinamis, dan distribusi rugi daya antartahap. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa struktur multi-tahap mampu mempertahankan kestabilan tegangan keluaran dalam batas toleransi operasional dengan nilai riak yang relatif kecil. Efisiensi konverter mencapai tingkat tinggi pada kondisi beban nominal serta tetap terjaga pada variasi beban lainnya dibandingkan karakteristik umum konverter satu tahap. Distribusi rugi daya yang merata pada setiap tahapan konversi turut meningkatkan keandalan sistem dan mengurangi potensi konsentrasi panas pada komponen semikonduktor daya. Respons dinamis sistem terhadap perubahan beban juga menunjukkan waktu pemulihan yang cepat, sehingga mendukung penerapan konverter multi-tahap pada sistem energi terbarukan yang memiliki kondisi operasi dinamis. Temuan penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa konverter DC–DC multi-tahap merupakan solusi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kestabilan sistem konversi daya pada aplikasi energi terbarukan.

Abstract

Flooding is a major problem that frequently occurs in Medan City due to high rainfall, dense settlements, and limited drainage system capacity. Conventional drainage planning still faces obstacles in real-time monitoring of channel conditions, resulting in less than optimal flood management responses. This study aims to examine the use of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in planning a smart drainage system as a flood mitigation effort in Medan City. The research method was carried out through literature review, conceptual modeling, and analysis of IoT infrastructure needs, including water level sensors, data communication devices, and integration with geographic information systems (GIS). The results of the study indicate that the implementation of an IoT-based drainage system can improve the effectiveness of water flow monitoring, support rapid decision-making in flood control, and provide accurate spatial data for urban spatial planning. In conclusion, the use of IoT has great potential to support the development of a smart drainage system in Medan City, thereby reducing flood risk and increasing the resilience of urban infrastructure in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The study investigates the influence of digital marketing strategies—social media engagement, online advertising, and brand trust—on consumer purchase intention in Indonesia’s SME sector. Using a quantitative design, data were collected from 150 SME consumers via structured online questionnaires and analyzed through multiple regression using SPSS 26.0. The model explained 65.7% of the variance in purchase intention, indicating a strong predictive capacity. Results revealed that all three independent variables significantly affect purchase intention, with brand trust emerging as the most influential predictor. The findings underscore that trust, transparency, and interactive engagement are essential in transforming digital exposure into purchasing behavior. Moreover, they highlight the necessity for SMEs to integrate ethical governance and culturally aligned digital communication to strengthen customer relationships and brand credibility. This research contributes to the literature by contextualizing digital marketing effectiveness within an emerging economy, offering theoretical insights and practical recommendations for designing trust-based digital strategies. The study’s implications encourage further exploration of mediating and moderating factors, such as consumer satisfaction and perceived risk, to deepen understanding of behavioral mechanisms in digital markets.

Abstract

This study investigates the level of strategic alignment between Information Technology (IT) and business in digital start-ups across Java, Indonesia, using Luftman’s Strategic Alignment Maturity (SAM) model as the primary analytical framework. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative data from structured questionnaires with qualitative insights from interviews involving supervisors from IT and business divisions. The findings indicate that digital start-ups have achieved a moderate level of alignment maturity, corresponding to the Established Focused Process stage, with an average score of 3.45. Partnership and technology scope emerged as the most mature domains, demonstrating effective collaboration and technological adaptability. In contrast, governance and competency measurement were identified as areas requiring significant improvement. The results highlight that alignment in these organizations is largely driven by informal relationships, entrepreneurial culture, and shared innovation values rather than by formal governance systems. Strengthening IT governance, implementing structured performance metrics, and promoting cross-functional skill development are recommended to advance alignment maturity. This research contributes to the broader understanding of IT-business integration in emerging digital economies and provides a practical framework for improving strategic coherence and organizational performance in start-up environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the principle of tabadul al-manafi in production within the framework of Islamic muamalah. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a literature review method, focusing on primary sources such as fiqh muamalah texts and secondary sources from recent academic journals. The results indicate that the implementation of tabadul al-manafi in production creates a more just, sustainable, and mutually beneficial economic system. This principle ensures that all parties involved in production receive proportional benefits, without exploitation or harm to any party. The findings support the hypothesis that tabadul al-manafi enhances distributive justice, efficiency, and social harmony in production processes. In conclusion, the principle of tabadul al-manafi is fundamental for building a fair and sustainable economic system in accordance with Islamic values. Further research is recommended to develop practical models for implementing this principle in various industries and to empirically evaluate its impact on corporate performance and social welfare.

Abstract

This research evaluates the capability level of the E-Attendance system at the General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of North Sumatra Province using the COBIT 2019 framework. A mixed-method approach was employed, integrating document analysis, interviews, questionnaires, and system log reviews to assess four key governance and management objectives: DSS06 (Manage Business Process Controls), APO13 (Managed Security), APO14 (Managed Data), and MEA01 (Performance and Conformance Monitoring). The results indicate that the current capability levels range between Level 1 (Performed) and Level 2 (Managed), reflecting partially implemented and inconsistently standardized governance practices. Based on organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and operational needs, the target capability level for all assessed domains is defined at Level 3 (Established), where processes are formally documented, standardized, and consistently implemented across organizational units. The gap analysis reveals deficiencies in data governance structures, security control enforcement, and performance monitoring mechanisms. Nevertheless, the findings demonstrate that improvements in process capability significantly enhance data quality dimensions, including completeness, accuracy, consistency, and timeliness. This study contributes to public sector IT governance literature by providing an evidence-based COBIT 2019 capability assessment and proposing a structured improvement roadmap to achieve the defined target capability level and strengthen digital governance maturity.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi machine learning telah mendorong pemanfaatannya secara luas dalam sistem prediksi dan pengambilan keputusan di berbagai sektor. Kemampuan machine learning dalam mengolah data berukuran besar dan kompleks memungkinkan sistem menghasilkan prediksi yang lebih akurat dan mendukung keputusan yang berbasis data. Namun, penerapan teknologi ini masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, khususnya terkait integrasi hasil prediksi ke dalam proses pengambilan keputusan, interpretabilitas model, serta dampaknya terhadap kualitas keputusan yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan machine learning dalam sistem prediksi dan pengambilan keputusan secara komprehensif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif melalui kajian literatur ilmiah dan analisis konseptual terhadap struktur sistem, algoritma yang digunakan, serta mekanisme integrasi keputusan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan penerapan machine learning tidak hanya ditentukan oleh akurasi prediksi, tetapi juga oleh kualitas data, pemilihan model, dan peran sistem pendukung keputusan dalam menjembatani hasil prediksi dengan pengambil keputusan. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan holistik yang menempatkan machine learning sebagai alat pendukung keputusan untuk menghasilkan keputusan yang lebih efektif, transparan, dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan.
