Abstract

The ship propulsion system generally consists of 3 (three) main components, namely: main engine, transmission system and propulsor. The ship's power propulsion transmission system in general starts from the main engine to the gearbox, shaft, stern tube for the shaft and shaft bearings, and propeller. The research aims to obtain the ship's main propulsion engine and propulsion transmission system components to be installed on the ship of Polbeng II that to be built. The planning of ship propulsion engine and its systems on ships needs to be done in order to obtain engine power and transmission systems that are in accordance with the propulsion needs of the ships being built. The planned ship is a passenger ship with the main size of the ship, Lpp = 9.8 m, B = 1.8 m, H = 1 m, T = 0.6 m and a speed of 21 knots. The results of the calculations are obtained, with a ship resistance of 5.7 kN, the main engine power is 98 HP. In the transmission system, the gearbox, shaft, bearings and propeller are installed from the main engine, with a gearbox ratio (1:3) and a propeller shaft size that is installed 1 3⁄4”.   Keywords: propulsion system, engine power, transmission system, shaft

Abstract

Nowadays, the development of infrastructure has caused an increase in the need for cement. To determine the suitability of the raw materials used in cement production, an assessment must be carried out on the quality anMineralogical and Geochemical Clay Analysis for Portland Cement Quality Distribution: A Study Case From Ajibarang District, Central Java, Indonesiad suitability of the cement raw materials. This research was conducted in Halang Formation of the Tipar Kidul area and around Banyumas Regency, Central Java. The methods used are X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Data from XRF analysis generally shows SiO2 values from 26.83% to 57.75%, Al2O3 values from 11.18% to 20.23%, and Fe2O3 values from 3.21% to 8.76%. Judging from the aluminum index (AI) content, the ideal cement raw materials are two samples with a proportion of 3.17% to 3.22%. The results of SEM analysis show that there are illite, calcite, quartz and smectite minerals in the claystone research area. Based on data, almost 75% of the claystone survey area was found to be suitable as a raw material for cement. This research has a positive impact on the characterization of limestone as a raw material for cement by utilizing geochemical analysis and electron microscopy to achieve a more comprehensive understanding of the evaluation of limestone quality.

Abstract

Slamet volcano is the second highest active stratovolcano in Java Island, it has a long volcanic history eruption event, the Baturraden Area is a tourism area in southern part of Slamet Volcano. Baturraden area is the part of Banyumas Regency and it took 30-60 minutes riding motorcycle from Purwokerto city. Our research is focused on studying the petrology, geochemistry, and geological history of basaltic lava on Baturraden Area mainly that formed a waterfall on its location, because there is no a researcher that study basaltic lava on Baturraden, we focus on petrology, and petrography and geochemistry of basaltic lava on Baturraden using XRF methods and focused on magma evolution of basaltic lava rocks on Baturraden Area. Stratigraphically basaltic rocks in Baturraden Area are a part of Slamet Lava 1(SL 1) and Slamet Lava 2 (SL 2). The mineral composition of SL 1 and SL 2 are including the phenocryst of plagioclase, K-feldspar, olivine, clinopyroxene, and opaque minerals, with plagioclase microlites and volcanic glass as groundmass. Plagioclase shows zoning and sieve texture. Seven rock samples are prepared for whole-rock major element compositions of the study, the SiO2 contents range from 48.13 – 49.17 wt.%. The K2O contents in all rock samples range from 0.78 – 1.56 wt.%. Geochemical data confirm that SL 1 and SL 2 are from same magma type that magma of SL  1 and SL 1 are influenced by fractional crystallization and magma mixing from new injection of more basaltic magma, as evidenced by the frequent changes in SiO2 content.

Abstract

Berdasarkan pada masalah yang ditemukan, pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru MI Tarbiyatul Athfal II Lamongan dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran digital dan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran digital. Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu dengan mengumpulkan data dan menganalisi secara menyeluruh terkait kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran digital, kemudian memberikan pelatihan secara langsung kepada guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran digital. Strategi yang digunakan yaitu dengan memberikan pelatihan penggunaan media digitalkepada guru khsususnya aplikasi mindjet, flipbook, dan quiz creator. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini disimpulkan bahwa Media pembelajaran berbasis digital telah banyak dimanfaatkan oleh guru MI Tarbiyatul Athfal II Lamongan dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap proses pembelajaran. Namun, ada tantangan yang memerlukan perhatian, seperti infrastruktur dan kompetensi guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah penyimpangan yang semakin marak terjadi di kalangan mahasiswa karena kurangnya kesadaran keagamaan mahasiswa. Keberadaan UKM REMO memiliki peran penting dalam membangun kesadaran keagamaan mahasiswa melalui gerakan cinta sholawat. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kegiatan gerakan cinta sholawat yang diadakan UKM REMO UNNES, dampak kegiatan gerakan cinta sholawat, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat UKM REMO UNNES dalam membangun kesadaran keagamaan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teori Religiusitas Glock dan Stark. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) UKM REMO UNNES mengadakan berbagai kegiatan menarik dalam membangun kesadaran keagamaan mahasiswa, antara lain; UNNES Besholawat, “Cinta Indonesia Cinta Sholawat” (CICS) Festival, Maulid Road To Faculty (MRTF) dan Kajian Kitab “Matan Ghayah Wat Taqrib”, Maulid Goes To Village (MGTV), Rutinan Maulid Malam Jum’at, Majelis Nisa Al-Madinah dan Kajian Kitab “Safinnatunnajah”, (2) Dampak kegiatan gerakan cinta sholawat UKM REMO UNNES terhadap kesadaran keagamaan mahasiswa, antara lain; membangun jiwa religi, merasakan ketentraman, menambah rasa cinta pada sholawat dan rosulullah, menambah rasa semangat dalam ibadah, (3) Faktor pendukung UKM REMO UNNES dalam membangun kesadaran keagamaan mahasiswa antara lain; kedekatan dengan ulama-ulama sekitar UNNES, dukungan dari pembina, media sosial, dan dukungan kampus. Adapun faktor penghambat UKM REMO UNNES dalam membangun kesadaran keagamaan mahasiswa antara lain; perkembangan zaman, mahasiswa kurang minat pada kegiatan religi, kegiatan UKM lain, dan internal UKM REMO.

Abstract

This community service project aimed to develop students’ translation competence while contributing to the preservation and internationalization of local literature. Implemented at Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Banyuwangi, the project involved 26 English Language students in a three-month experiential program titled “Translating Local Literature into English.” The activities consisted of a translation workshop, fieldwork in Kemiren Village—a center of Osing culture—and the compilation of bilingual manuscripts. Students were trained in literary translation theory and techniques, then conducted field-based data collection, interviewing local elders and documenting oral texts. These texts were translated collaboratively, with the final outputs compiled into a bilingual anthology entitled “Echoes of Osing.”Survey results showed a significant increase in students’ translation skills and cultural awareness, with over 90% indicating improved confidence and understanding. The project also strengthened university–community engagement by positioning cultural stakeholders as co-educators in the translation process. The field immersion allowed students to appreciate the sociocultural context of Osing literature and provided real-world insights into the complexities of language transfer. The bilingual anthology and accompanying video documentation were disseminated through both print and digital platforms, expanding access to regional Indonesian literature for global audiences. This program demonstrates that student-led literary translation can be a powerful medium for cultural preservation, academic skill-building, and grassroots cultural diplomacy. It highlights the potential of integrating community-based learning with academic programs, offering a sustainable and replicable model for universities aiming to link global engagement with local knowledge. The project also contributes to preserving linguistic diversity and promoting intercultural understanding through education.

Abstract

Chemotherapy is a type cancer treatment that uses anticancer drugs to inhibit cell division and kill cancer cells. Chemotherapy can cause side effect due to normal cells damages. The study aimed to investigate the use of antiemetic prophylaxis as premedication to prevent or reduce side effects on cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. It was a observational study with retrospective design using medical records data of cancer patients who underwent chemotherapy in a hospital in Yogyakarta Special Region during May – September 2022. The results showed the cancer patients were dominated by women (85.71%) with ages 46-65 yr (63.27%) and stage III cancer (87.76%). There were 18 types of anticancer drugs and the most widely used drugs were doxorubicin 60 mg for the moderate emetogenic category and vinorelbine 37.5 mg for the low emetogenic category. The most widely used premedication regimen was a combination granisetron 3 mg, ondansetron 8 mg, and dexamethasone 10 mg regimen (72.45%). This combination was most often used for the cancer patients with the moderate emetogenic category (39 patients or 49.4%). However, not all the cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy with the low and moderate emetogenic anticancer drugs were administered the premedication. In conclusion, doxorubicin and vinorelbine are the most widely used for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy in the hospital. In addition, a combination of granisetron, ondansetron, and dexamethasone is widely used as premedication.

Abstract

Pentingnya kebutuhan teknologi cetak pempek otomatis untuk masa depan dapat menjadi prospek yang menggiurkan, sehingga berdasarkan arahan penelitian sebelumnya, penulis akan membuat terobosan ke arah teknologi mesin cetak pempek otomatis berbasis IoT yang disesuaikan dengan perkembangan di era modern. Pengendalian yang dilakukan oleh tim peneliti nantinya dapat dimanfaatkan oleh dunia usaha, khususnya di bidang makanan kuliner, yaitu usaha pempek. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut, diharapkan teknologi alat cetak pempek adaan otomatis berbasis IoT ini dapat membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan yang terjadi, sekaligus memajukan wisata kuliner, khususnya di bidang pempek dan diharapkan dapat membantu UMKM. Lebih lanjut, bantuan teknologi yang disebut Internet of Things juga akan dibutuhkan. Internet of things merupakan suatu konsep atau program di mana suatu objek memiliki kemampuan untuk mentransmisikan atau mengirim data melalui jaringan tanpa menggunakan bantuan perangkat komputer dan manusia.

Abstract

Dalam artikel ini, metode analisis homotopi digunakan untuk menyelesaikan suatu model Lotka-Volterra dari dua spesies yang bersaing. Dalam hal ini akan ditentukan suatu penyelesaian berupa semi-analitik dari model tersebut. Metodologi penelitian yang dilakukan diawali dengan mendefinisikan suatu operator linear berdasarkan model Lotka-Volterra yang ditinjau, kemudian mengonstruksi suatu persamaan deformasi. Berdasarkan persamaan deformasi ini diperoleh suatu hampiran penyelesaian. Penyelesaian hampiran dari model yang dikaji menunjukkan galat yang relatif kecil. Dalam artikel ini juga diberikan simulasi bahwa jika tingkat intrinsik spesies satu mengalami peningkatan dari 8% hingga 50%, tetapi tingkat intrinsik spesies dua dibuat tetap, maka hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa jumlah populasi spesies satu mengalami peningkatan, sedangkan jumlah spesies dua mengalami penurunan.

Abstract

Dalam tulisan ini dikembangkan model pengendalian hama tanaman terpadu yang didasarkan pada model mangsa-pemangsa Leslie-Gower. Dalam model ini terdapat unsur pertahanan tanaman (tanaman yang mengeluarkan senyawa/bau) yang akan mampu mengusir sebagian hama yang ada di sekitarnya. Populasi yang terlibat dalam model ini yaitu populasi tanaman, populasi hama, dan populasi pemangsa hama. Tujuan tulisan ini adalah menentukan pengaruh pertahanan tanaman terhadap dinamika populasi yang terlibat. Dari analisis, menghasilkan empat titik tetap. Simulasi dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh perubahan koefisien efisiensi pertahanan tanaman terhadap kestabilan titik tetap yang diperoleh. Telah ditunjukkan bahwa jika nilai koefisien efisiensi pertahanan tanaman diperbesar, mengakibatkan hama dan pemangsa hama menuju kepunahan dan populasi tanaman akan bertambah banyak.
