Abstract

This study investigated the effects of fortification with functional plant ingredients—butterfly pea flower (Clitoria ternatea), roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa), and ginger (Zingiber officinale)—on the physicochemical, antioxidant, textural, colour, and sensory properties of extruded rice crackers. A Completely Randomized Design consisting of four treatments (P1: control, P2:butterfly pea flower, P3:roselle, and P4:ginger addition) with triplicate experiments was applied. Results demonstrated that plant-based fortification significantly influenced proximate composition, bioactive compounds, and product quality attributes (p < 0.05). Roselle fortification produced the highest anthocyanin content and the strongest antioxidant activity, with values of 2.602 ppm and 16,059 ppm (IC50), respectively. Butterfly pea flower enhanced flavonoid content to 0.010% and achieved the highest overall sensory acceptance (score 5.00). Ginger addition significantly improved textural characteristics, particularly hardness and crispiness, with values of 63.19 N and 1.96 N, respectively, contributing to a desirable snack structure. Colour parameters were strongly affected by natural pigments derived from functional plants, enabling clean-label visual differentiation of products. Overall, butterfly pea flower (P2) was identified as the optimal formulation, providing the best balance between functional enhancement and sensory acceptance. This study introduces functional rice crackers made from broken rice with improved antioxidant capabilities, diversifying the product from rice-based raw materials. Abstract

Permasalahan sampah berkaitan erat dengan aktivitas rumah tangga, khususnya limbah organik yang belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis determinan minat Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) dalam pemanfaatan limbah rumah tangga organik menjadi pupuk. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada November 2025 hingga April 2026 di KWT Puspa Asri, Desa Karanganom, Kabupaten Klaten, menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan sampling jenuh dari 30 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner, lalu dilakukan analisis secara deskriptif dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan minat anggota tergolong tinggi, namun keterlibatan praktik masih perlu ditingkatkan. Faktor internal dan eksternal berpengaruh terhadap minat anggota secara simultan. Secara parsial, hanya persepsi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan, umur menunjukkan arah negatif, sedangkan pendidikan nonformal, motivasi, peran kelompok, akses teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, serta sarana dan prasarana tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan minat dan regenerasi perlu dilakukan melalui penyuluhan, praktik langsung, dan pendampingan agar kegiatan dapat berjalan dengan rutin dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan promosi dan edukasi produk biofarmaka Aloe Land melalui platform Instagram dengan pendekatan model AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action). Model AIDA dipilih karena kemampuannya dalam mengidentifikasi elemen-elemen penting untuk menarik perhatian, membangun minat, menciptakan keinginan, dan mendorong tindakan pada audiens target. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran dengan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan pengelola akun Aloe Land dan survei terhadap pengguna Instagram, sementara data sekunder berasal dari literatur terkait dan analisis media sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi promosi berbasis AIDA dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pemasaran di Instagram, khususnya pada elemen visual konten yang menarik perhatian serta penyajian informasi yang relevan untuk meningkatkan minat audiens. Selain itu, pemanfaatan fitur interaktif seperti polling dan giveaway mampu meningkatkan engagement dan keinginan pengguna untuk membeli produk. Tindakan seperti penawaran promosi terbatas dan tautan langsung ke pembelian produk juga terbukti efektif dalam mengarahkan audiens ke tindakan. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi pengelola akun Instagram untuk memaksimalkan jangkauan dan dampak promosi produk biofarmaka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Tingkat preferensi konsumen pada kemasan jahe merah instan dan 2) Mengetahui deskripsi kemasan yang paling diminati oleh konsumen. Penelitian dilakukan di CV Merapi Farma Herbal dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel responden menggunakan accidental sampling dengan melibatkan 40 konsumen. Metode conjoin digunakan untuk menentukan tingkat preferensi konsumen berdasarkan 9 stimuli yang terbentuk menggunakan 4 atribut yaitu jenis kemasan, warna, berat bersih, dan informasi produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden menyukai stimuli ke-3 dengan jenis kemasan kotak karton, dengan warna merah, berat bersih 100gram, dan informasi produk yang berisi komposisi, cara konsumsi, berat bersih, expired date, dan informasi produsen. Deskripsi kemasan terpilih berdasarkan nilai kegunaan dan kepentingan konsumen menyukai kemasan dengan jenis kemasan kotak karton, warna hitam-putih, berat bersih 100gram, dan informasi produk yang berisi komposisi, cara konsumsi, berat bersih, expired date dan informasi produsen.

Abstract

Raw material inventory management determines the company's impressive steps that affect the company's financial stability. The research aims to determine the efficient amount of ordering raw materials total inventory costs before and after using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, Re-Order point, and buffer inventory (Safety Stock) on Simplicia spoon, mint, and stevia. The research was carried out from January to June 2023 at PT Lawu Flora Wijaya, Karanganyar Regency. The method used in the research is a quantitative descriptive method. Based on research results using 2022 data, PT Lawu Flora Wijaya has been efficient in ordering 261.05 kg of Simplicia spoon raw materials, 104.74 kg of mint Simplicia, 84.64 kg of stevia Simplicia. The total cost of raw material inventory for Simplicia before using EOQ is Rp. 409,234 for spoon simplicia, Rp. 214,026 for mint simplicia, and Rp. 145,471 for stevia simplicia. Meanwhile, using the EOQ method, Rp. 402,171 was obtained for spoon simplicia, Rp. 189,937 for mint simplicia, and Rp. 144,609 for stevia simplicia. The reorder point for the raw material Simplicia spoon was 142.9 kg, simplicia mint was 15.1 kg, and Simplicia stevia was 25 kg. The buffer stock for spoon simplicia is 126.72 kg, mint simplicia is 11.92 kg, and stevia simplicia is 22.92 kg.

Abstract

Menur Women Farmers Group (Kelompok Wanita Tani, KWT) is a farmer institution engaged in the production and provision of biological control agents in Murtigading Village, Sanden Kapanewon, Bantul Regency. Although the group has adequate production capacity and good technical skills, the marketing of KWT Menur products still faces several constraints, particularly limited digital promotion and weak product brand identity. This study aimed to analyze internal and external factors, formulate an online marketing strategy through Facebook, and develop a community empowerment design to strengthen the marketing capacity of KWT Menur. This study employed a mixed-methods approach with an embedded design. Data were collected from 25 respondents through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Data were analyzed using the IFAS, EFAS, SWOT, and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) matrices. The results showed that the group’s internal condition was strong, with an IFAS score of 2.902, while the external environment was supportive, with an EFAS score of 2.976. These results placed KWT Menur in Quadrant I, indicating an aggressive growth strategy. The QSPM analysis showed that the main priority strategy was strengthening the branding of environmentally friendly products, with a Total Attractiveness Score (TAS) of 7.516. Strengthening branding, improving product packaging, and enhancing digital marketing skills through Facebook are expected to expand market reach, increase product competitiveness, and support the sustainability of the biological control agent enterprise managed by KWT Menur.
