Abstract

Abstract: Financial literacy is the ability to manage funds owned in order to develop and live more prosperously in the future. The bad impact of a poor level of financial literacy is that it can trigger a variety of financial problems. One of the most common financial problems is the issue of financial planning for the future (investment). The first issue regarding investment is the tendency of people with low literacy levels to make mistakes in allocating money they have. The purpose of this research to analyze the effect of financial literacy on investment decision on economy and business students at sam ratulangi university that has been measured through general personal finance knowledge, saving and borrowing, insurance, and investment and to identify dimension of financial literacy that the most effect on investment decision among students.This research uses causal type with a quantitative approach. The population of this study is the students who ever make an investment. sample of this research is 100 respondents with data obtained through questionnaires.The finding of this research shows that general persona finance knowledge, saving and borrowing, insurance and investment are significantly affect investment decision among students simultaneously. Partially, only investment variable that affect investment decision among students. As the recommendation, Financial literacy is a very important thing to support investment activities so students need to increase these factors.Keywords: financial literacy, investment decision

Abstract

Abstract: Puskesmas is a concept used in providing health services to the society. It is grounded by one of the basic human needs, that is health. This study aims to determine the influence of Total Quality Management which consists of Teamwork, Education and Training, Continuous Improvement, Obsession with Quality, Customer Focus, on Organizational Performance in Puskesmas Wori Kabupaten Minahasa Utara. Total Quality Management (TQM) is tools to improve performance of organization continuously at each level of operation or process, while Organizational Performance is the critical factors for the effectiveness of the organization itself. This research uses quantitative methods and the total sample is 50 respondents. The result is Teamwork, Education & Training, Customer Focus and obsession with Quality don?t have significant influence on organizational performance do not while simultaneously all Total Quality Management variables have significant influence on Organizational Performance, where Continuous Improvement have significant influence on Organizational Performance. The recommendation is for Puskesmas Wori Kabupaten Minahasa Utara to continuously maintain the performance in all aspect. Keywords: total quality management, teamwork, education and training, continuous improvement, obsession with quality, customer focus, organizational performance.

Abstract

Abstract: The smartphone revolution has triumphed in Indonesia especially in Manado in terms of penetration and innovation. Therefore, as the competition becomes more intensified, it is important to any companies to anticipate any changes in its customers’ preferences, especially all variables related to the price and trust that are much revealed in prior studies. This study is to know the affect of price and trust on brand switching. Switching behaviour of subscribers has many factors behind it, but in this case we just need to analyze two factors which is price and trust. By using 100 respondents, we used multiple regression to analyze the data. The results reveal that price and trust are significantly positive related to brand switching. Based on the result, the author suggest for smartphone companies to be careful about the safety product by consistently give right products without defect and to maintain price in order to meet customer expectation. Consistent price that compatible with the product usability increase customer satisfaction and encourage repeat purchases. Keywords: price, trust, brand switching

Abstract

Abstract: The use of Point-of-Sales Terminals or also known as EDC Machine overcome problems that can come up when customers make a transaction. Some of the problems in question are security when carrying cash, consumer awareness about the existing non-cash system, perceived ease of transaction and of course the benefits that can be felt when transaction non-cash using POS Terminal EDC machine. This study aims to analyze whether there are significant differences between male and female customers perception on BRILink POS Terminal performance based on Security of Operation, Consumer Awareness, Perceived Ease of Use, and Perceived Usefulness. This research uses quantitative method with comparative analysis. Questionnaire in this case is used to collected data from respondents. This research tests through compare means, independent sample T-test in a sample of 100 respondents, divided 50 male and 50 female customers in Manado. Findings of this research indicate that there is no significant difference perception of male and female customers perception on BRILink POS Terminal performance. From the results, it is recommended for BRI Company continue to improve the service quality, especially in terms of consumer awareness about transactions at BRILink using POS Terminal. Keywords: point-of-sales, security of operation, consumer awareness, peou, pu, BRILink

Abstract

Abstract: The Customer Satisfaction is the extent to which the responds of products or service meet the expectation of buyers. If the performance of the product or service is higher than the expectation of customer, the buyers will be satisfied. There are several factors that influence customer satisfaction such as price, service quality and physical environment. At the beginning of 2016 Markobar café become famous, and now Markobar Café already open some new brach in several cities in Indonesia and also in Manado.  This studied aimed to determine the effect of price, service quality and physical environment on customer satisfaction in Markobar Café Manado. The type of this research is Multiple Regression analysis and the data was collected from 60 respondents of Markobar Café’s Manado. This research showed that simultaneous price, service quality and physical environment significantly influence customer satisfaction. Partially service quality and physical environment significantly influence customer satisfaction and price variable is not significant influence on customer satisfaction. Service quality and physical environment has contributed greatly to the customer satisfaction so the manager should consider about that two factors.Keywords: price, service quality, physical environment, customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Abstract: Endorsement as a marketing strategy using local influencer instead of celebrity in North Sulawesi is being used by many SME’s nowadays. This study aims to find out  how is the millennial trust through endorser credibility on local influencer endorsement on instagram. In this study endorser credibility is derived from 3 factors which are expertise, attractiveness and trustworthiness. This research is a qualitative research and uses in-depth interview. This research sampling size are 15 respondents and are taken from people aged 23-39, who are instagram users and have seen endorsement activity of local influencer on instagram. The result of this research is expertise rated as a more important indicator in endorser credibility over attractiveness, however local influencers are perceived as no experienced endorser. Result also shows physical appearance and familiarity are the two more important dimensions in attractiveness over likeable and similar. From the results, it is recommended for brand who is doing endorsement activity using local influencer to have the priority of finding endorser who has the expertise especially experience rather than attractive look and endorser who is interactive, constantly updating and enjoy making connection with viewers that make them more familiar. Keyword: endorsement, endorser credibility

Abstract

Abstrak: Zaman yang moderen, bisnis telah berkembang dengan sangat pesat dan mengalami perubahan secara terus-menerus. Salah satu perubahan tersebut yaitu dalam hal perubahan gaya hidup dalam masyarakat dimana hal ini tak lepas dari pengaruh globalisasi yang sekarang ini terjadi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Citra Merek, Kualitas Produk, dan Strategi Harga berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian di Avenue Mega Mall Manado. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian asosiatif. Populasi penelitian yaitu 285 dan sampel yang digunakan 75 responden di Avenue Mega Mall Manado dengan menggunakan rumus slovin. Hasil analisis secara simultan Citra Merek, Kualitas Produk, dan Strategi Harga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Secara parsial Strategi Harga tidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian di Avenue Mega Mall Manado. Karena Citra Merek dan Kualitas Produk memiliki pengaruh positif serta memberikan kontribusi yang cukup besar terhadap keputusan pembelian maka Citra Merek dan Kualitas Produk harus dijaga dan ditingkatkan di Avenue Mega Mall Manado.Kata Kunci: Citra Merek, Kualitas Produk, Strategi Harga

Abstract

Abstract: In global era, every organization seeks to improve employee’s performance to create productive employees as their asset. The aim of this study to determine the effect of workplace quality and organizational commitment on employee’s productivity. In this study, population refers to the employees of CV. Kombos Manado by using saturation sampling technique and sample size of 40 respondents through questionnaires. The result of data processed using SPSS 24 shows all the variables of workplace quality and organizational commitment simultaneously effect on employee’s productivity in CV Kombos Manado. As for partially, workplace quality does not have significant effect on employee’s productivity in CV. Kombos Manado, whereas organizational commitment have significant effect on employee’s productivity in CV. Kombos Manado. CV. Kombos Manado should consider about the importance of the effect of workplace quality and organizational commitment in the company. Because according to the result of this study, those two factors have an effect through the employee’s productivity. And also, company should make more activities to improve the employee’s feel of connect with the company.Keywords: Workplace Quality, Organizational Commitment, Employee’s Productivity

Abstract

Abstract: Matahari Department Store has been the place for the citizen to buy their clothing attire, either on the daily basis or annually. Matahari Department Store tends to offer discount or promotion to lower the price of the products also being one of the factors that attracts people to come and spend their money there. The people can just make plan to go buy something there or in this case being an impulsive buyer. When people pass by Matahari Department Store they might caught on something like the promotion or discount tags, once they check on the products with the said tags there are chances that they more likely to buy it, thus the impulsive buying take part. The purpose of this study is to find out the customer of Matahari Department Store Mantos that choose credit card as a payment method. Most of the informants gave similar response regarding the advantages to use a credit card because credit card is seen as a convenient and relatively easier way for transaction process, moreover the use of credit card lowers the perceived cost with bigger future use that affects impulsive buying behavior at Matahari Department Store Manado Town Square. This research was conducted in Manado. Qualitative research is deployed and purposive sampling technique is used in the sampling process of the research. This research is mean to be for Matahari Department Store Mantos costumer and there will be 10 representative customers as the sample. Keywords: impulsive buying behavior, credit card.

Abstract

Abstract:. The online transportation is cheaper than a regular taxi fare in the city. Not only has the citizen, the online transportation also made the tourist easier to travel. The application also provides a several languages. The application also provides maps, which makes the consumer easier to find the place that they want to go to. This research aims to know which criteria is the most important for customer in selecting an online transportation in Manado and the most preferred online transportation for the customer. This research used analytical hierarchy process with the sample of 50 respondents that were obtained from citizen in Manado. The result from this research shown that price is the most important criteria for the consumer to choose an online transportation. The consumer wants an affordable price of the online transportation. Grab is the most preferred online transportation. Gojek and Uber as the competitors of Grab, should have to improve their performance, adding more promotions and make some different thing which is unique or something that the competitors does not have Keywords: consumer purchase decision, analytical hierarchy process
