Abstract

Football demands good aerobic endurance, or VO2 max, because it is one of the dominant sports using the aerobic energy system. Soccer players can increase their VO2 max capacity through interval training. The AREMA FC U16 Academy does not yet have a specific training program to increase VO2 max capacity. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in VO2 max capacity after being given interval training by AREMA FC academy players. The research was conducted in the field of the National Institute of Technology (ITN) campus 2 using a quantitative research type with an experimental method (one group pretest-posttest design). The design aims to allow the research results to be known more accurately both before and after treatment. The research sample consisted of 25 AREMA FC academy players, aged between 14 and 16 years, who were male. The interval training program is given three times a week for six weeks. The research instrument used the bleep test to assess the maximum oxygen consumption (VO2 max) before and after being given treatment. The paired samples t test resulted in a significance value of 0.00<0.05. So it can be concluded that interval training has a positive impact on increasing VO2 max in AREMA FC U16 Academy players.

Abstract

Agility in futsal is very necessary because futsal requires high intensity. Black Panther FC Malang City players have a low level of agility so they need zig-zag run modification training to train player agility. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of Zig-Zag Run Modification Training on Agility of Black Panther FC Malang City Players. The zig-zag run exercise is modified into 6 forms of exercise. The method in this study was pre-experimental with One Group Pretest and Posttest design. The population in this study were Black Panther FC Malang City players totaling 36 people.  Sampling using purposive sampling technique with a sample of 20 players selected based on certain criteria. The modified zig-zag run training program in this study was carried out as many as 16 training sessions. The results of hypothesis testing using Paired sample t-test showed a significant value of 0.000, so it can be concluded that zig-zag run modification training provides an effective influence on the agility of Black Panther FC Malang City players.

Abstract

When observing and interviewing coaches a problem was found in the futsal players at Widyagama High School Malang city, requires training that increases VO2 max or endurance to support performance when  competing. The purpose of this study is to prove interval and fartlek training on increasing VO2 max. In this study using a one group pre test - post test design. The data instrument uses the Bleep Test. Determination of a sample of 15 subjects using total sampling. The exercises given within 6 weeks were 18 meetings. The pre-test data results obtained a mean of 43.360 and post-test data with a mean of 45.873 experienced an increase difference of 2.51. The hypothesis test used to determine the difference between pre-test and post-test is the Shapiro-Wilk test. The results of the significance test of 0.000 indicate that there is a significant difference, so it can be concluded from the results of the study that there is an effect of giving interval and fartlek training to increasing VO2 max futsal players at SMA Widyagama Malang City.
