Abstract

In export data, there are often seasonal fluctuations caused by various factors, and STL (Seasonal Trend decomposition using Loess) can help effectively separate these seasonal components. STL is an algorithm developed to decompose a time series into three components: trend, seasonal, and remainder, aiding in a better understanding of the underlying patterns and variations in the data. The data taken in this study are data on the number of exports (tonnes) in the period January 2018 to December 2022 sourced from bps. From the forecasting results it can be concluded that the largest BM export value is 6357.6131 (tons), the largest BP export value is 859804.0 (tons) and the largest BP export value is 113157.64 (tons).

Abstract

Matematika dan budaya merupakan dua hal yang tidak dapat dipisahkan karena penerapan ilmu matematika selalu diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Budaya dapat dijadikan sumber pembelajaran bagi siswa di sekolah. Penerapan matematika dan budaya yang ada di sekitar siswa dapat dijadikan hal yang inovatif dalam pembelajaran serta dapat melatih siswa untuk berpikir memecahkan suatu masalah. Ilmu matematika yang dihubungkan dengan budaya dinamakan etnomatematika. Salah satu tempat bersejarah di Deli Serdang yaitu Museum Deli Serdang yang lokasinya berada di Jalan Petapahan Kec. Lubuk Pakam Kab. Deli Serdang. Dalam penelitian ini yang dijadikan sebagai etnomatematika adalah objek Museum Deli Serdang. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi etnomatematika pada Museum Deli Serdang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan peneliti secara langsung melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Berdasarkan dari hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, peneliti memperoleh beberapa konsep matematika yaitu bangun datar dan bangun ruang di Museum Deli Serdang. Dari temuan eksplorasi pada Museum Deli Serdang memperoleh bahwa terdapat konsep matematika yaitu bangun datar segi empat, seperti persegi panjang, persegi, trapesium, dan bangun datar sisi lengkung berbentuk lingkaran serta bangun ruang sisi lengkung yaitu tabung.

Abstract

This study titled as The Effect of Disposition on Student Mathematics Learning Achievement in Medan State 28 Junior High School. In this study, disposition is an independent variable and achievement in mathematics learning is a dependent variable. Mathematical disposition is a change of student™s tendency in assuming and behaving toward mathematics, also their act when learning mathematics. For example, when students can solve non-routine problems, their behavior and assumption of mathematics as a student become more positive. The more mathematical concepts understood, the more students convinced that mathematics can be mastered. Based on theory, there are many factors that influence student's achievement in mathematics learning. In this study, researcher only took disposition factor. This research took place at Medan State 28 Junior High School which located at Karya Bersama St. No. 17 Medan Johor. The method of this study is a quantitative method with all of VIII class students which amount to 273 students and divided into 8 (eight) study groups. The data obtained by giving a questionnaire consisting of 19 statements. The data then analyzed by using simple linear regression analysis. The data analysis was performed by using SPSS 21 software for Windows. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is an effect of disposition on students' achievement in mathematics learning or in other words, students' achievements in mathematics learning are influenced by the disposition attitudes that students have in mathematics learning. The influence occurs in the disposition of achievement in mathematics learning is positive, that is equal to 6.6%.Keywords: Disposition, Mathematics Learning Achievement.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran papan pintar berbasis drill and practice. Prosedur penelitian menggunakan 4D Thiagarajan yaitu: (1) Define atau pendefinisian, (2) Design atau desain, (3) Develop atau pengembangan, dan (4) Dissemination atau penyebaran. Validasi produk dalam penelitian melibatkan ahli pembelajaran matematika sekolah dasar, ahli media pembelajaran dan ahli bahasa Indonesia. Uji kelayakan dilangsungkan melalui uji praktis yang diberikan kepada guru dan siswa. Uji efektivitas menggunakan uji N-Gain. Penelitian ini dilangsungkan di MIS Mutiara Sunggal, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Indonesia. Responden dan subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa/i kelas III. Tahap define merupakan proses menggambarkan wujud papan pintar sebagai media pembelajaran. Design media melalui 4 rancangan yakni bentuk papan pintar, isian, panduan penggunaan, dan langkah-langkah pemakaian. Develop dilakukan melalui validasi ahli yang menunjukkan kriteria layak digunakan, uji praktis menunjukkan media ini sangat praktis dan uji efektivitas menunjukkan kriteria sedang. Dissemination dilakukan melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan penyuluhan penggunaan media papan pintar di MIS Fastabiqul Khairat Paya Bakung.  AbstractThe purpose of this research is to develop drill and practice-based smart boards as learning media. The research procedure follows 4D Thiagarajan, namely: (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develop, and (4) Dissemination. Product validation in the study involved elementary school mathematics learning experts, learning media experts, and Indonesian language experts. The feasibility test was carried out through practical tests given to teachers and students. Test the effectiveness using the N-Gain test. This research was conducted at MIS Mutiara Sunggal, Deli Serdang Regency, Indonesia. Respondents and subjects in this study were third-grade students. The Define stage included a process of describing the form of a smart board as a learning medium. The media design went through 4 designs, namely smart board forms, contents, usage guides, and steps for use. The development was carried out through expert validation which indicated that the criteria are suitable for use, practical tests are very practical, and effectiveness tests showed in the medium criteria. The dissemination was carried out through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and counseling on the use of smart board media at MIS Fastabiqul Khairat Paya Bakung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh pendekatan open-ended dan pendekatan kontekstual terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dikelas VII MTs Amaliyah Sunggal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis quasi eksperimen. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pendekatan open-ended dan pendekatan kontekstual terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa MTs Amaliyah Sunggal. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan nilai sig. (2-tailed) < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) maka H0 ditolak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) menunjukkan adanya pengaruh dari pendekatan open-ended dan pendekatan kontekstual terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, namun menolak hipotesis nol (H0) menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh. ABSTRACT This study was conducted to determine whether there is an influence of the open-ended approach and the contextual approach on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students in class VII MTs Amaliyah Sunggal. This study is a quantitative study of the quasi-experimental type. Data processing was carried out using the SPSS application. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant influence between the open-ended approach and the contextual approach on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students at MTs Amaliyah Sunggal. This is indicated by the sig. value. (2-tailed) <0.05 (0.000 <0.05) then H0 is rejected. The results of this study indicate that the application of the alternative hypothesis (Ha) shows that there is an influence of the open-ended approach and the contextual approach on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities, but rejecting the null hypothesis (H0) indicates that there is no influence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuipengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share Terhadap Kemampuan Pemahaman Matematis dan Tingkat Kecemasan Siswa pada Materi Relasi dan Fungsi di Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lingga Bayu. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lingga Bayu dengan jumlah sampel kelas eksperimen 30 siswa dan kelas kontrol 30 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel didasarkan pada kriteria yang diterapkan oleh peneliti yaitu simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, tes dan angket dengan alat pengolah data statistik baik validitas, reliabilitas serta analisisnya menggunakan excel. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa dengan nilai sig 0,000 < 0,05. (2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share terhadap tingkat kecemasan siswa dengan nilai sig 0,000 < 0,05. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis dan tingkat kecemasan siswa. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model on the Mathematical Understanding Ability and Students' Anxiety Level on the Material of Relations and Functions in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Lingga Bayu. This research method is quantitative with a quasi-experimental research type. The population of the study was students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Lingga Bayu with a sample size of 30 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class. The sampling technique was based on the criteria applied by the researcher, namely simple random sampling. Data collection techniques by conducting observations, interviews, tests and questionnaires with statistical data processing tools, both validity, reliability and analysis using excel. The results of the study revealed that (1) there is a significant influence on the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model on students' mathematical understanding abilities with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05. (2) there is a significant influence on the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model on students' anxiety levels with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the cooperative learning model of the Think Pair Share type on students' mathematical understanding abilities and anxiety levels.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament berbantuan aplikasi Quizizz untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament berbantuan aplikasi quizizz dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP IT AL- JAWAHIR. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling.  Dengan instrument tes berbentuk pretes dan postes. Uji analisis yang digunakan adalah paired samples t – test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika. Besarnya peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran tipe teams games tournament berbantuan aplikasi quizizz adalah 64,40 nilai rata-rata pretes dan 81,57 nilai rata- rata postes maka menghasilkan selisih 17,17 poin atau sebesar 57,2 %. ABSTRAK This study discusses the application of  the Teams Games Tournament type cooperative learning model  assisted by the Quizizz application  to improve students' concept comprehension ability which aims to find out that the application of the Temas Games Tournament type cooperative learning model assisted by the quizizz application can improve the understanding of mathematical concepts. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach. The population in this study is grade VII students of SMP IT Al-Jawahir. The sampling technique used is total sampling.  With test instruments in the form of pretes and postes. The analysis test used is paired samples t-test. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in the ability to understand mathematical concepts. The amount of improvement in the ability to understand concepts taught using the teams games tournament type learning model assisted by the quizizz application was 64.40 with an average score of 64.40 pretest and 81.57 average scores for postes, resulting in a difference of 17.17 points or 57.2%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant influence of mathematical resilience on students' mathematical problem-solving ability, as well as measure the magnitude of this influence. The approach used is quantitative with an ex post facto (comparative causal) design, where variables have occurred before the study was conducted. The research population included all grade XII students at MAS Miftahussalam Medan, with a sample of 33 students selected through simple random sampling techniques. The research instrument consisted of a questionnaire to measure mathematical resilience and a test to measure mathematical problem-solving ability. The validity and reliability of the instruments were tested through preliminary trials. Data analysis was carried out through a prerequisite test (normality and linearity), followed by a simple linear regression test, t-test, and determination coefficient. The results of the analysis showed a regression equation Y = 16.803 + 0.273X, with a value of t_hitung = 3.784 > t_tabel = 2.039 at a significance level of 5%, so that H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. The determination coefficient of 0.316 showed that mathematical resilience contributed 31.6% to students' mathematical problem-solving ability, while 68.4% was influenced by other factors. These findings confirm the importance of strengthening mathematical resilience in an effort to improve students' problem-solving skills more effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the GeoGebra application on junior high school students' understanding of mathematical concepts in the topic of Two-Variable Linear Equations Systems (SPLDV). The type of research used is a quasi-experiment with a posttest-only control group design. The population of this study is all eighth-grade students at SMP Islam Terpadu Al-Fakhri, while the sample consists of two classes selected through purposive sampling, namely class VIII-B as the experimental class receiving instruction using GeoGebra and class VIII-A as the control class with conventional teaching methods. The research instrument consisted of a written test totaling 6 questions that had been tested for validity and reliability. The research data were analyzed using a t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The research results show that there is a difference in conceptual understanding between students who learn using GeoGebra and students who learn through conventional learning. The average post-test score of the experimental class was 19.46, higher than the control class at 15.78, with standard deviations of 3.12 and 4.34, respectively. Based on these analysis results, it can be concluded that the use of GeoGebra has a positive effect on improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts in the SPLDV material.

Abstract

Materi pertidaksamaan linier sering kali menimbulkan kesulitan bagi siwa karena menuntut kemampuan memahami hubungan antara representasi aljabar dan grafik secara bersamaan. Kondisi ini menyebabkan rendahnya pemahaman konsep serta kurangnya keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran berbasis visual, salah satuya adalah aplikasi Desmos. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keaktifan belajar siswa melalui pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Desmos dalam menyelesaikan pertidaksamaan linier. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di MAS Plus Al Ulum Medan pada kelas X-2 dengan 33 siswa. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembelajaran, yang meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, siswa diberikan pengenalan aplikasi Desmos, demonstrasi penggunaan Desmos dalam menggambar grafik, serta praktik langsung menyelesaikan soal dengan pendampingan dosen. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui observasi aktivitas siswa, analisis hasil latihan, dan diskusi reflektif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Desmos memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemahaman konsep. Siswa mampu memvisualisasikan grafik pertidaksamaan dan menentukan daerah penyelesaian dengan lebih tepat dibandingkan sebelum pelatihan. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan peningkatan keaktifan, antusiasme, dan motivasi belajar selama kegiatan berlangsung. Pembelajaran berbasis Desmos juga mendorong siswa untuk melakukan eksplorasi mandiri dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam diskusi belajar
