Abstract

The Implementation of School-Based Management is a policy that grants schools broad authority to determine their own needs and programs. This is done by utilizing available resources, both within and outside the school, to enhance the quality of education at SMA Negeri 1 Pampangan, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, with the goal of improving student learning achievement. The research results from the Analysis of the Implementation of School-Based Management in Enhancing Student Learning Outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Pampangan, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, indicate that some aspects are functioning well, but there are also indicators that need improvement. One area that requires improvement is coordination with the community, especially parents or guardians. This is due to a lack of support from the school community and the public in supporting educational implementation. Furthermore, the facilities and resources for implementing School-Based Management are still insufficient. Some teaching aids, such as laboratory equipment and other teaching materials, are still lacking. Nevertheless, the school has made efforts to improve and upgrade their facilities and resources at SMA Negeri 1 Pampangan. This action is taken to ensure that facilities supporting the implementation of School-Based Management are adequately available at the school.

Abstract

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS), 2021 reported that the majority of unemployment in Indonesia comes from the Vocational High School (SMK) graduate group. The unemployed population with the final education level of SMK reached 11.13% in August 2021. Most SMK graduates want to work immediately, but are not absorbed in the business world and the industrial world. The problem raised in this study is that there are still many alumni of SMK Unggul Negeri 2 Banyuasin III who have not been absorbed in the dudika. The purpose of this study was to determine the number of alumni of SMK Unggul Negeri 2 Banyuasin III who were absorbed and not absorbed in the dudika. This type of research includes qualitative research with the research approach used is the effectiveness approach developed by Richard M. Steer including research, input, process, and product. the effectiveness of the special labor exchange in channeling alumni of smk unggul negeri 2 banyuasin 3 to the business world, the industrial world and the world of work (dudika) has been effective as evidenced by an increase in the absorption of alumni in dudika. from the tracer study obtained data on alumni of smk unggul negeri 2 banyuasin 3 for 2020 alumni who work are: 12/69 = 17,3 %. Data for 2021 which alumni who work are 12/69 = 17.3% and 22/169 = 13.0%, data for 2022 alumni who work are: 22/69 = 31.8% - 44/169 = 26.0%, and 52/184 = 29.3%. Based on the data above, the percentage of alumni who work has increased.

Abstract

Education is not only about transferring knowledge, but also developing critical and creative thinking skills in students. One of the approaches that can be used to realize this goal is through the application of the philosophy of science in education, especially at the elementary school level. The purpose of this study is to understand how the principles of philosophy of science can be applied in the learning process in elementary schools, as well as to assess their impact on the development of students' critical and creative thinking skills. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to explore the application of philosophy of science in building critical and creative education at SDN Rantau Pangeran. The results of this study show that the application of philosophy of science in learning at SDN Rantau Pangeran has had a significant positive impact on students' critical and creative thinking skills. Through this approach, students not only receive information passively, but are also invited to actively ask, analyze, and solve problems in a more in-depth way. The application of the philosophy of science successfully encourages students to think logically, systematically, and creatively, which is reflected in the improvement of their critical thinking skills and creativity which can be measured through tests and observations.

Abstract

Primary education has a very significant role in forming the foundation of a critical mindset in children. At this stage, students should begin to be taught how to understand information in depth, make informed judgments, and develop the ability to make decisions based on logical reasoning. This research aims to develop the critical thinking patterns of students at SD Negeri 2 Sumber Harum through the application of philosophical epistemology in learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design to explore the application of philosophical epistemology in learning to improve the critical thinking of students at SD Negeri 2 Sumber Harum. The results of this study show that the application of philosophical epistemology in learning at SD Negeri 2 Sumber Harum significantly improves students' critical thinking skills. Through learning methods such as group discussions, debates, and case studies, students not only understand the subject matter more deeply, but are also able to analyze, evaluate, and construct logical arguments. This improvement was seen in the results of the critical thinking test, which showed an increase in the average score from 58 to 76 after the intervention. In addition, students also began to show higher confidence in expressing opinions and being actively involved in the learning process.

Abstract

The level of literacy and numeracy of students in Indonesia is still concerning, especially at the basic education level. At SDN Sumber Agung, which is in a rural environment, the challenge of improving literacy and numeracy is quite complex. Ki Hadjar Dewantara, an Indonesian education figure, has laid important foundations in the philosophy of national education. Ki Hadjar Dewantara's thinking emphasizes the importance of liberating education, namely education that can develop students' potential holistically, both in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's philosophical values in improving literacy and numeracy at SDN Sumber Agung and identify effective learning strategies based on local wisdom. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to explore the application of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's philosophical values in improving literacy and numeracy at SDN Sumber Agung. The results of this study show that the application of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's philosophical values at SDN Sumber Agung has succeeded in significantly improving students' literacy and numeracy skills. This is evidenced by the average score of students' literacy increased from 72 to 85 after one semester of applying methods based on local wisdom, such as the use of folklore in learning. Likewise in the numeracy aspect, the average score of students increased from 68 to 82 through contextual learning approaches, such as counting crops or using simple props.

Abstract

This study aims to develop numeracy questions based on the Reeves development model that produces high-quality numeracy questions. The questions are designed in an expanded multiple-choice format, which allows students not only to choose answers but also to provide in-depth logical reasons. This study uses a design research with a systematic approach involving four main stages in the Reeves model: problem identification and analysis, initial design, prototype development, and implementation and reflection. The research methods include expert validation, small group trials, and field trials involving 26 sixth grade students as research subjects. The results of the study showed that 15 numeracy questions were developed, leaving 10 numeracy questions that were of high quality and had high validity, reliability, varying levels of difficulty, and good discriminatory power. The implementation of the questions showed that the expanded multiple-choice format was able to provide an in-depth evaluation of students' abilities and could help identify weaknesses in students' understanding in more detail. With these results, this study concludes that the Reeves development model is effective for developing high-quality numeracy questions. This research also provides practical contributions for teachers and researchers in designing contextual, valid, and reliable numeracy questions.

Abstract

This article utilizes a library research method to explore the role of Pancasila students in strengthening national identity and values in Indonesia. By analyzing relevant literature, the article delves into the contributions of Pancasila students in applying Pancasila values in daily life and their impact on shaping the character of future generations. Through a critical approach to theoretical sources and empirical research, this article identifies the challenges and opportunities in implementing Pancasila student programs. Furthermore, it offers policy recommendations based on the findings from the reviewed literature. The analysis reveals that Pancasila-based character education is crucial for cultivating a young generation with a strong awareness of moral values and commitment to nation-building. Thus, this article provides insights into how the role of Pancasila students can be strengthened through a library research approach and underscores the importance of character education in advancing Indonesia as a sovereign and dignified nation

Abstract

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, online learning has become commonplace, but the effectiveness of online learning has never been evaluated; therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the effectiveness of online learning. This descriptive study aims to describe the effectiveness of online learning for lecturers and students of the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP Unsri, with a sample of 140 students and 16 lecturers in the odd semester. The study results show that online learning from the aspects of support, facilities and infrastructure, stakeholders, learning processes and student achievement indexes is included in the effective category. The platforms that are often used by students and lecturers besides Unsri e-learning are Google Classroom and several supporting platforms such as Zoom Cloud Meeting and WhatsApp. Applications and platforms, and online-based learning can still be used even though the pandemic has ended, because the online-based learning process is still better when combined with offline learning, which can facilitate direct interaction between students and teachers.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analysis students ability in solving HOTS based chemistry problems. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, tests and interviews. The research results show that high-level thinking skills which include the level of analytical skills have an average student achievement of 16.162%, the level of evaluation thinking skills reaches 8.937%, and the level of creative thinking skills reaches a maximum of 14.888%. score 100. Based on the interview results, it is known that students' high-level thinking abilities are relatively low because they are not used to working on HOTS questions. Therefore, it can be concluded that high-level thinking abilities need to continue to be improved, and one way to achieve this is through solving HOTS based chemistry problems. Keywords: higher order thinking, chemistry problems, case study. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan Kimia HOTS (High-Order Thinking Skills). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang meliputi tingkat keterampilan analisis mempunyai rata-rata pencapaian siswa sebesar 16,162%, tingkat keterampilan berpikir evaluasi mencapai 8,937%, dan tingkat keterampilan berpikir kreatif mencapai maksimal 14,888%. skor 100. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara diketahui bahwa kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa tergolong rendah karena belum terbiasa mengerjakan soal HOTS. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X.1 SMA Negeri 5 Palembang melalui implementasi model problem based learning dengan pendekatan teaching at the right level (TARL). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif melalui proses pembelajaran di kelas. Teknik pengolahan data kuantiatif melalui pre test dan post test sedangkan data kualitatif melalui hasil pengamatan kegiatan belajar peserta didik. Hasil PTK kolaboratif diperoleh dari hasil belajar pada prasiklus, siklus I, dan siklus II dengan nilai rata – rata hasil belajar kimia peserta didik yang meningkat yaitu prasiklus yaitu 60, siklus I yaitu 73, dan siklus II yaitu 85. Tingkat kemampuan kognitif peserta didik mengalami peningkatan pada prasiklus hanya 6% pada kategori mahir dan meningkat pada siklus I dan II menjadi 9% dan 54%. Melalui penelitian Tindakan kelas kolaboratif menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL dengan pendekatan TARL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada kelas X1 SMA Negeri 5 Palembang pada mata pelajaran kimia.
