Abstract

Singkong merupakan komoditi yang potensial untuk diusahakan namun memiliki beberapa permasalahan seperti masih dipandang sebagai bahan pangan kelas bawah (inferior) serta memiliki sifat yang mudah busuk dan rusak (perishable) maka diperlukan peran industri pengolahan sebagai solusi penanganan pasca panen yang tepat. “UMKM Serba Singkong” merupakan industri pengolahan di Kampung Adat Cireundeu, Kota Cimahi yang menciptakan diversifikasi produk olahan berbasis singkong bernilai tambah dan memiliki nilai ekonomis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengolahan singkong menjadi egg roll rasi cookies, cireng dan dendeng kulit singkong, menganalisis nilai tambah dan menganalisis pendapatan dari masing-masing produk. Pemilihan lokasi dan responden sebanyak 3 orang dipilih secara sengaja (purpossive). Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif, metode nilai tambah Hayami dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses pengolahan singkong menjadi egg roll rasi cookies melalui dua tahap; proses pengolahan singkong menjadi cireng melalui dua tahap; sedangkan proses pengolahan kulit singkong menjadi dendeng hanya melalui satu tahap saja. Nilai tambah dari pengolahan egg roll, cireng dan dendeng kulit singkong masing-masing adalah sebesar Rp133.713/kg; Rp80.253/kg; Rp36.651/kg. Hasil analisis pendapatan dari pengolahan egg roll sebesar Rp500.827/satu kali proses produksi setara Rp1.502.481/bulan; dari pengolahan cireng sebesar Rp842.984/satu kali proses produksi setara Rp2.528.952/bulan; dari pengolahan dendeng kulit singkong adalah sebesar Rp1.473.906/satu kali proses produksi setara Rp1.473.906/bulan.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan hasil olahan perikanan melalui indsutri yang berskala UMKM oleh masyarakat di Desa Muarabaru menjadi salah satu sumber pendapatan mereka, namun ternyata pendapatan yang diperoleh mengalami fluktuatif, hal tersebut yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh secara simultan dan parsial variabel modal, pendidikan, tenaga kerja, lama usaha, jumlah tanggungan keluarga, dan pemasaran terhadap pendapatan usaha olahan perikanan. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sensus, dengan responden yang berjumlah 41 pelaku usaha ikan asin dan terasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pada taraf signifikansi 5% menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel modal, pendidikan, tenaga kerja, lama usaha, jumlah tanggungan keluarga, dan pemasaran berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel pendapatan. Secara parsial pada taraf signifikansi 5% variabel modal, lama usaha, dan jumlah tanggungan keluarga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pendapatan, variabel pendidikan dan tenaga kerja bernilai negatif dan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pendapatan, dan variabel pemasaran bernilai negatif dan tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pendapatan. Sebaiknya pelaku usaha memperhatikan modal, pendidikan, tenaga kerja, lama usaha, dan jumlah tanggungan keluarga sehingga pendapatan dapat meningkat, sedangkan pemasaran sebaiknya dilakukan melalui pemanfaatan media online supaya jangkauan kosumen pun semakin luas sehingga pendapatan yang diterima dapat meningkat

Abstract

Karawang merupakan sebuah wilayah di Provinsi Jawa Barat yang sering disebut sebagai kota lumbung padi dan kota perjuangan.Meski demikian, hasil perikanan dan kelautan di wilayah ini mempunyai potensi yang sama dengan wilayah lainnya.Salah satunya adalah Kecamatan Cilamaya Wetan yang memiliki luas wilayah pertanian dan perikanan sekitar 22,62 km2 diantaranya Desa Muarabaru. Berdasarkan identifikasi potensi daerah penangkapan ikan, Desa Muara Baru mempunyai potensi pengolahan hasil laut yang sangat besar sehingga perlu dikembangkan lebih lanjut dengan produk unggulannya adalah ikan asin dan terasi. Namun industri olahan ikan asin dan terasi di Desa Muara Baru, Kecamatan Cilamaya Wetan, masih menghadapi permasalahan. Kemasan produk yang ditawarkan kurang menarik, tidak ada tanggal kadaluwarsanya, selain itu permasalahan legalitas usaha yang membuat produk ini tidak dapat dipasarkan secara meluas. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pendampingan strategi pengolahan diversifikasi produk dan pemasaran bagi industri ikan asin dan terasi di Desa Muara Baru. Tujuan dari strategi diversifikasi produk ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan variasi dari produk ikan asin dan terasi sehingga bisa menjadi produk unggulan desa. Untuk mengatasi tantangan-tantangan ini diperlukan optimalisasi potensi daerah baik dari sumber daya alam, sumber daya manusia dan sumber daya keuangan lainnya untuk pembangunan ekonomi daerah.

Abstract

Types of animals sold in CV. Amanah Saebur is goat and sheep whose sales fluctuate due to erratic demand from consumers which causes companies to be in a condition of excess or shortage of livestock so that they lose the opportunity to get maximum profit. The purpose of this study is to find the best forecasting technique for goat and sheep sales, make sales forecasting rates and calculate the profit from sales forecasting during June to November 2023 for goats and sheep in CV. Amanah Saebur. The method used is descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach using Single Exponential Smoothing, Double Exponential Smoothing, Multiplicative Decomposition and ARIMA forecasting techniques. The results of the study showed that the Multiplicative Decomposition technique is the best forecasting technique with the smallest Mean Squared Deviation (MSD) value of 20.1104. The results of the forecasting rate of goat and sheep sales were 571 heads with an average of 95 heads per month. Total profit from sales for 6 months amounted to Rp516,378,504.00 with an average profit per month of Rp86,063,084.00. The results of sales and profit forecasting can be an illustration for the company in determining the right decisions in the future and can be used as a reference in conducting production planning.

Abstract

The integrated agriculture program is the development of an agricultural system, combining livestock and agricultural activities that are mutually sustainable. The corn-based integrated farming system program in Karawang Regency was formed to prosper the community. To see the course of the program in achieving its goals, an evaluation is needed to identify the implementation and results of the program for the community. The research methods used are qualitative and quantitative methods presented in descriptive form. The research resource persons were farmer groups receiving assistance for the corn-based integrated farming system program in Karawang Regency. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use qualitative data analysis model Miles and Huberman (1984) flow model, quantitative data analysis includes calculations of receipts, total costs, and revenues. The results showed that the implementation of the program was stopped, there were obstacles faced by farmer groups that hindered the achievement of program objectives. The economic impact of the program does not create changes to increase revenue. The impact of the integrated farming system program on the environment, technically agricultural waste is used by farmers, the social impact of the program can provide new experiences for farmers, especially intensive livestock management

Abstract

Mango is one type of fruit that has high economic value and is popular in many countries, including Indonesia. According to data from BPS Karawang Regency, Tempuran District is one of the largest mango producers in Karawang Regency. The decline in mango fruit production in Tempuran Subdistrict is one of the problems in mango fruit cultivation which causes a lack of net income received by mango farmers. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of land area, total production, selling price, labor, production costs, plant age and number of plants simultaneously and partially on the income of mango farmers. This research was conducted in Sumberjaya Village, Tempuran District, Karawang Regency. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The research data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data used was obtained from interviews using a questionnaire. Secondary data used was obtained from books, journals, previous research reports and data from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Karawang Regency and related agencies. The sample was determined using the proportionate stratified random sampling method. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 22. The results showed that the variables of land, amount of production, selling price, labor, production costs, plant age and number of plants had a significant influence simultaneously on the income of mango farmers. The variables of land, amount of production, and selling price partially have a significant positive effect. The variables of labor and production costs partially have a significant negative effect. The variables of plant age and number of plants partially do not have a significant influence on the income of mango farmers.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to identify rice farmers' motivation levels and evaluate the relationship between needs categories based on the ERG Theory (existence, relatedness, growth) and rice farming in Rangdumulya Village, Pedes District, Karawang Regency. Methodology: A mixed-method approach was employed, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Respondents were selected using Slovin's formula, with 42 farmers from the Karya Sentosa Farmer Group Association as the sample. Data were analyzed using interval width tests for motivation levels and Spearman Rank analysis for the relationship between ERG needs and farming. Results: (1) Farmers' motivation is categorized as high for existence and relatedness needs and very high for growth needs; (2) No significant relationship exists between existence and relatedness needs and farming. However, growth needs sub-variables, such as educational background and self-actualization, show significant relationships with farming. Findings: Growth factors are critical in supporting farmers' motivation. Novelty: This study highlights specific links between growth needs in ERG Theory and rice farming success. Originality: Offers new perspectives on applying ERG Theory to farmer motivation. Conclusions: Growth needs significantly enhance motivation and farming success. Abstract

PT Nectars Natura Karya merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri dan perdagangan kosmetik alami berbahan organik. Upaya promosi dan pemasaran yang dilakukan PT Nectars Natura Karya di media sosial dan marketplace masih belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses produksi dan pemasaran yang dilakukan PT Nectars Natura Karya, serta menganalisis penerapan perencanaan pemasaran dan strategi pemasaran digital untuk meningkatkan penjualan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data primer dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan wawancara dan kuesioner pada Direktur, Manajer, Staf Administrasi, dan konsumen PT Nectars Natura Karya. Data sekunder diperoleh dari studi literatur dan observasi pada akun media sosial dan marketplace PT Nectars Natura Karya yang bernama Nectars.id. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis IFE dan EFE, SWOT, serta SOSTAC Plans. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa PT Nectars Natura Karya melakukan produksi secara mandiri dari pengolahan bahan baku hingga tahap distribusi, serta aktivitas pemasaran yang dilakukan melalui media sosial dan marketplace. Berdasarkan hasil analisis IFE dan EFE, SWOT dan SOSTAC Plans diperoleh strategi pemasaran digital yang memprioritaskan upaya peningkatan pemasaran melalui media sosial dan marketplace untuk meningkatkan penjualan secara online pada konsumen. Strategi tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan intensitas unggahan konten untuk memperkuat engagement dengan konsumen, memanfaatkan fitur live streaming di media sosial dan marketplace untuk melakukan interaksi dengan konsumen dan melakukan transaksi online.

Abstract

Oyster mushroom is one of the important agricultural commodities cultivated by the community, especially in Kondang Jaya village, East Karawang District, Karawang Regency, West Java. In the hamlet of Griya Kondang Asri, Kondang Jaya village, oyster mushroom cultivation is carried out to empower women who are accommodated by the Berkah Farmer Women Group which has 20 local MSME groups. However, the implementation of mushroom cultivation is still not optimal because there are still many problems related to cultivation and there is no innovation in the management of oyster mushroom products, so people only sell oyster mushrooms in a fresh condition without packaging. Therefore, this service must be carried out. This activity aims to provide insight to the group of women farmers about mastering mushroom cultivation techniques, improving skills in creating and innovating nuggets and mushroom chips, as well as skills in making packaging designs, to increase the selling value of mushroom cultivation products of the Women Farmers Group. This activity was carried out using the Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) method. The result of the implementation of the service is an increase in the knowledge and skills of farmer group partners in utilizing mushroom crops in the diversification of products with high economic value.

Abstract

Mangrove pasir putih cilamaya kulon karawang is a 20-hectare beach and mangrove forest tourism area. As a conservation area, eco-tourism mangrove pasir putih cilamaya kulon itself is projected to be able to save the pasir putih fishing village area, which was previously threatened by erosion. Mangroves can also have economic value, but many people do not know that mangroves have many benefits and can increase income. The purpose of this community service activity is to empower the community through diversification of mangrove product processing in the form of mangrove batik, mangrove soap and dodol in improving community skills related to processing and marketing of good mangrove processed products. To increase the sales and household income of the community around the white sand mangrove tourism. The partner in the implementation of this service is prpm pasir putih, which oversees the management activities of tourism and mangrove forests in sukajaya village.
