Abstract

Jangari Pier is the most active activity point in the Cirata Reservoir, West Java Province, located in Cianjur Regency. The water activities in the Cirata Reservoir consist of the tourism, fisheries, and water transportation activities carried out under the supervision of the Transportation Agency in the Cirata Reservoir Environment on the basis of a cooperation agreement between the reservoir manager, namely PT PJB UP Cirata and UPTD PPP LLASDP West Java Province which placing the Cirata LLASD Service Unit, with an operating license agreement in the form of supervision of water transportation activities in the Cirata Reservoir. Water transportation is one of the most important and strategic aspects in facilitating the wheels of development, and strengthening unity and integrity, in the water transportation sector which requires comfortable and proper passenger transportation facilities in accordance with guidelines and standards. Guidelines regarding standard facilities and dock dimensions that are suitable for ships operating in passenger boarding activities at Jangari Pier based on dock analysis in the dock planning book by Bambang Triatmodjo in 2010 and Director General of Land Transportation Regulation number: KP.4756/AP005/DRJD/2020 regarding the Technical Guidelines for the Sungai Danau Stop by evaluating passenger boarding and descending activities to determine the type of pier that is in accordance with the characteristics of the Cirata reservoir so that passenger boarding and descending activities are safe, and comfortable in accordance with the calculations carried out with the aim that passenger boarding activities take place optimally.

Abstract

Fuel oil purifier on board is one of the auxiliary aircraft that plays an important role in separating fuel from water and dirt. The use of clean fuel is to support the operation of the main engine in producing complete combustion. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the problems that may occur with the performance process of the F.O purifier such as the abnormality of the Fuel Oil filtration process on the F.O purifier to anticipate the influence that arises if this aircraft has problems cleaning the fuel from liquid and solid impurities. This research was carried out on board the MV. TANTO LUAS fleet owned by pt. TANTO INTIM LINE, which was carried out for approximately 9 months. The data collection method used in this research is the observation method (observation research method). Primary data here are obtained from direct observations and secondary data are obtained from documents and literature related to this study. The results obtained from this study show that damage occurs and improper installation of the gravity disc can adversely affect the performance of the purifier. This is characterized by the abnormality of the F.O pufirier purification process which results in unclean fuel being wasted out and accommodated in the sludge tank. The corresponding temperature is 85°C and viscosity is 37.8°C (100°F).

Abstract

Likupang crossing port is one of the ports in North Minahasa regency which has 3 (three) Ro-Ro crossing ships, namely KMP. Lohoraung, KMP. Tarusi, KMP. Watunapato which serves the interisland track in North Sulawesi. In the transportation system security and safety are very important as a form of good service delivery. As well as the arrangement and handling of passenger and vehicle loads on board. However, vehicle loading is above KMP. Lohoraung and KMP. Tarusi not in accordance with established standards. The method used to analyze the existing problems is a qualitative method of manifest analysis of passengers and vehicles, the analysis of the procedures for transporting vehicles on board, the analysis of binding obligations of vehicles on board. While in the existing conditions of the procedures for transporting vehicles on board the KMP.Lohoraung and KMP.Tarusi still not in accordance with the loading of vehicles that have been arranged in PM No.115 of 2016, the obligation of fastening the vehicle on board on the KMP.Lohoraung and KMP.Tarusi is still not in accordance with the obligation to bind the vehicle on board which has been regulated in PM No.30 of 2016, due to the absence of vehicle fastening on board. In order to create security, comfort and safety, things that can be done is to check the appropriate passenger and vehicle manifest form and observe the process of filling in passenger and vehicle data, and implement procedures for transporting vehicles on board.

Abstract

Siwa Ferry Port with 3 units of ships, namely KMP New Rose, KMP New Camellia and KMP Merak, with the Siwa - Tobaku crossing service having an important role for regional development in Wajo Regency and several surrounding areas. In managing the Siwa Ferry Port, the Regional Government of Wajo Regency as the port operator, together with the Region XIX Land Transportation Management Center of South Sulawesi and West Sulawesi Provinces as regulator functions always supervise aspects of safety, security and order. The research method used is direct observation in the field (Field Research) by measuring the distance between vehicles and lashing tools as well as literature/documentation. This research analysis is guided by the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 115 of 2016 regarding Procedures for Transporting Vehicles on Ships and the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 30 of 2016 regarding Obligations to Bind Vehicles to Crossing Transport Vessels. The analysis that will be used is the analysis of vehicle weighing equipment needs, analysis of vehicle placement on ships, analysis of vehicle loading space cleanliness, analysis of the distance between vehicles, analysis of vehicle loading space sterilization from passengers, analysis of vehicle binding and analysis of administrative sanctions to ship operators. Based on this analysis, it was concluded that the conditions of transportation at the Siwa ferry port are still not in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 30 of 2016 and Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 115 of 2016 in terms of vehicle binding, range between vehicles, sterility of loading space from passengers and spills of grease and oil, availability of fasteners and binding officers.
