Abstract

The lack of a decision support system for the Tuberculosis or TB Program implemented in the Sukoharjo Regency Office has resulted in a gap or mismatch between the estimated number of TBC cases and the discovery of TBC cases in the field so that the decisions taken so far are only based on the discovery of existing TBC cases. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the use of SPK-TB in supporting the village-based Tuberculosis Suspect Screening Program. The research method used the Mix-method method which combines qualitative and quantitative research types. The research subjects consisted of 12 TBC information system users at the public health center and the Health Office. The results showed that the system that had been developed and tested at each user level, especially the head of the health centre, was well accepted and used as intended. This shows that system acceptance before and after testing with the TAM method has increased the average value. It is recommended that this SPK-TB be implemented immediately so that the effectiveness and efficiency of the performance of TBC officers and the Health Office can be known.

Data analysis was descriptive and content analysis. Results: The generated reproductive health education model consists of 1)educators (competent, trustworthy, peer, young, survivors, and good-looking), 2)recipients (late adolescents), 3)education methods (two-way, private, repetitive,), 4)education media (social media platforms), 5) educational content (all topics needed by late adolescents), 6)duration (30 seconds/topic), and 7)goals (to increase knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors regarding reproductive health among university students). Expert validity testing: the model was highly accepted and deemed suitable for implementation (94.7%).Conclusion: The educational model developed is encouraged for implementation among university students. Introducing and implementing the model requires support from relevant stakeholders (NGOs, students, faculty, and university stakeholders). Implementation is necessary to prove the model's effectiveness in increasing knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors regarding reproductive health among university students.

Abstract

Financial literacy equips university students with the knowledge they need to navigate their finances as they grow into independent adults. Our outreach to Malaysian students had two goals: to strengthen their financial understanding and to gauge their current literacy levels. We achieved this through classroom presentations to the students, Q&A sessions, and discussions with student‑affairs staff at Malaysian universities. The core material delivered in the financial literacy session focused on sources of funding for making investments. The findings suggest that Malaysian students deal with challenges much like those faced by Indonesian students, especially in developing essential financial management skills, as their parents entrust them with the responsibility of managing their living and educational expenses independently. Malaysian students also demonstrate the same awareness as their Indonesian peers regarding the importance of engaging in entrepreneurial activities, which help prepare them to become successful economic contributors. The material presented was highly relevant for students interested in becoming entrepreneurs.

Abstract

The Archdiocese of Jakarta, Indonesia's oldest diocese with a dynamic megapolitan population, must be proactive and willing to take risks in order to meet the needs of Catholics and fulfill its mission to the general public. With 37 parishes and a diverse parishioner population, Catholic priests encounter a variety of problems in carrying out the church's mission. A proactive approach and the willingness to take risks can boost organizational success. There has been no previous research on the Roman Catholic church with the concept of entrepreneurship, hence this study fills a research gap in terms of entrepreneurship theory and context in religious organizations. Using the framework of entrepreneurial proactiveness and entrepreneurial risk taking, in-depth interviews with 19 parish priests revealed that 19 parish priests applied entrepreneurial concepts to their ministry work. This study adds to the academic side of entrepreneurship in the context of religious non-profit organizations and offers practical guidance to NPO managers who are in a similar scenario.

Abstract

Background: Maternal deaths based on obstetric status in Semarang city, Indonesia, in 2018 occurred a lot during the postpartum (15 cases). Therefore, knowledge of postpartum care is essential in improving maternal health during the postpartum. This study aims to examine the picture of postpartum care knowledge during the COVID-19 pandemic and its determinants in Indonesia. Method: Cross-sectional research design. The study involved 92 postpartum mothers in 2 Puskesmas areas in Semarang City, Indonesia. The sample size was determined using the Cochrane formula with the inclusion criteria of pregnant women with a gestational age of 32-34 weeks. The study was conducted in January 2021. The instrument uses questionnaires and purposive sampling techniques. The Chi-Square and Fisher-Exact tests in this study are used to analyze the relationship between variables. Backward stepwise logistic regression test to determine determinants of postpartum care knowledge. Result: Mothers who had poor knowledge of postpartum care were 45.7%. Poor knowledge is found mainly in the aspects of nutritious food (65.2%), vitamin A (46.7%), and personal hygiene (47.7%). Mothers exposed to digital information are more likely to have knowledge of postpartum care (OR= 2.6; CI 95%= 1,100-6,018; p=0.029). Conclusion: Knowledge of postpartum care during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia is still low and needs to be improved. The use of digital media as a medium for promoting postpartum care has an opportunity to improve maternal and infant health.

Abstract

The phenomenon of teenage pregnancy has serious health, social, and economic impacts. Globally, 55% of pregnancies among 15-19 year olds result in unsafe abortions, including in Indonesia. Based on interviews with the midwife coordinator, BOK funds are only sufficient to hold classes for 15 pregnant women. There is a disparity between the number of pregnant women and the amount of assistance provided so far. Of the 399 pregnant women, only 18.8% (75 women) can be assisted through classes for pregnant women. The next problem is the low reading interest of mothers in KIA books. With the availability of digital educational media, it is hoped that this can be a solution to the problems occurring at the Duren Posyandu. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge of midwife cadres regarding digital education models that can accommodate more pregnant women by using educational materials that are more interesting to pregnant women. The community service activity was carried out on July 31 - August 1, 2025, with 5 village midwives and 13 cadres participating. The activity began with a pre-test, followed by the community service team delivering the material, and finally a post-test. All participants in the activity experienced an increase in knowledge for 20 points, as evidenced by their post-test scores, which were higher than their pre test scores.

Abstract

Hallobumil is a mobile health application designed to provide information and education for pregnant women. Usability and user experience are critical to ensuring ease of use, relevance, and engagement, ultimately supporting better pregnancy outcomes. This study aimed to evaluate the usability and user experience of the Halo Bumil application among pregnant women in Semarang, Indonesia. A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted involving 390 pregnant women from 15 community health centers. Data were collected through direct interviews using structured questionnaires based on the System Usability Scale (SUS) and User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) and analyzed descriptively. The mean age of participants was 28.5 ± 5.5 years; most had senior high school education (57.4%), earned less than the local minimum wage (63.6%), were housewives (58.5%), and received health information from healthcare providers (74.1%). The mean SUS score was 62 (marginal), corresponding to Grade D, with an adjective rating of “OK.” The mean UEQ scores were positive across all dimensions: attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. Overall, the Halo Bumil application is considered suitable as a digital information medium to support pregnancy. These findings provide valuable insights for developers to enhance features and user-friendliness.
