Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi analisis masalah yang dialami oleh mitra. Terdapat empat masalah berupa Pertama, guru kurang memahami konsep tata tulis dan etika publikasi karya ilmiah dalam jurnal nasional terakreditasi. Kedua, Sebagian besar guru belum pernah mempraktikkan pembuatan naskah artikel jurnal sesuai dengan prosedur, Ketiga, Guru kurang memahami cara tips untuk memilih penerbit jurnal terakreditasi yang baik, Keempat, Guru tidak memahami tata cara submit lewat Open Journal System (OJS) secara baik. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pengalaman secara teoritis dan praktis tentang pendampingan pembuatan dan submit naskah artikel jurnal ilmiah terakreditasi nasional. Metode yang digunakan berupa ceramah,tanya jawab, best practice dan diskusi. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket self assessment yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi diri saat apakah sudah memahami materi dan menilai secara mandiri proses praktik submit jurnal sedangkan lembar observasi untuk menilai praktik guru dalam membuat draft dan submit naskah jurnal secara berkelompok. Analisis data pengabdian ini menggunakan deskripsi persentase dengan kriteria skala interval.Hasil analisis data angket self assessment dilihat secara tiga indikator rata-rata hasilnya  91% dengan sehingga termasuk kriteria baik dan data lembar observasi sebesar 92% sehingga termasuk kriteria baik

Abstract

Target pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam pembuatan artikel jurnal ilmiah sekaligus dalam mempublikasikan pada penerbit jurnal online nasional yang berkualitas. yaitu melalui Pendampingan Penulisan Artikel Ilmiah Dan Submit Jurnal Ilmiah Nasional Pada Guru KKG Gugus Sidomukti Kota Semarang. Manfaat dari kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat membekali guru KKG Gugus Sidomukti Semarang dalam meningkatkan dan mengembangkan keahlian guru menyusun atau membuat artikel jurnal yang berkualitas baik serta paham memilih penerbit jurnal nasional yang berkualitas baik. Manfaat selanjutnya adalah meningkatkan kualitas guru dalam memberikan kontribusi pada perkembangan akademik di sekolah melalui publikasi karya ilmiah. Metode pengabdian ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan kegiatan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi sedangkan langkah-langkah kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri dari tiga kegiatan inti materi pelatihan yaitu Uji pretest, pelatihan tentang artikel jurnal ilmiah, gaya selingkung, tips menulis artikel jurnal ilmiah yang baik dan benar, langkah submit jurnal ilmiah serta tipsnya, pelatihan pembuatan artikel yang akan dimuat dalam jurnal nasional dan uji posttest.

Abstract

Students tend to be passive in expressing new ideas or providing opinions that differ from other students when learning disaster mitigation material takes place. In addition, the learning media used are limited, such as textbooks, YouTube videos, and PowerPoints that do not fully support the development of students' creative thinking skills. Therefore, the study was conducted with the aim of determining the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning model assisted by Story Maps media on the creative thinking skills of grade XI students on disaster mitigation material. This study used a pre-experimental quantitative research type. The sample of this study was class XI E2 at Public High School 1 Purbalingga, with a total of 36 students as the experimental class. The average score of the observation sheet was 79.51%, which means that students' creative thinking skills were "good" in the project-based learning model assisted by Story Maps media on disaster mitigation material. Meanwhile, the average score of the student response questionnaire was 79.61%, so it was concluded that students "agreed" to the learning of disaster mitigation material implemented using the project-based learning model assisted by Story Maps media. This shows that the use of the project-based learning model, assisted by Story Maps media, to develop creative thinking skills in disaster mitigation material is effective in high school.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of 2D animation media on students' knowledge of flood disaster mitigation. The research design is a quasi-experimental study. The study population consists of 64 fifth-grade students at several public elementary schools in Daleman. The sampling technique used was total sampling. Class V-A of Daleman State Elementary School served as the control class, while Class V-B served as the experimental class. Data collection techniques included tests (pre-test and post-test) and non-test techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Initial data analysis techniques included normality tests, while final data analysis involved t-tests and N-Gain. The research results indicate that there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and the control class. The findings of the study indicated that the t-test results, a significance value of sig. = 0.000 (sig. < 0.05), were obtained, thus rejecting H₀ and accepting Hₐ. This indicates that 2D animation media has a significant effect on improving students' knowledge of flood disaster preparedness. The N-Gain analysis results support these findings, with an average increase in learning outcomes in the experimental class of 0.6047 (moderate category), while the control class only reached 0.3034 (low category). These findings confirm that 2D animated video media can create a more meaningful learning experience and significantly improve students' conceptual understanding. This study suggests that technology-based learning innovations should be utilised more widely to improve learning quality, particularly in instruction on disaster mitigation for elementary schools.

Abstract

Smartphone-based media that is increasingly sophisticated has the potential to be used in learning to be effective. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of the LSE (Landslide Education) application to increase knowledge about landslide disasters among high school students. This quantitative descriptive study uses a pre-experimental design with a one-shot case study model. The research subjects used a purposive sample of 141 students from grades XII F 7- XII F of SMA Negeri 12 Semarang. Data collection used post-test data test techniques, while non-test techniques were through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, the average knowledge of the parameters of landslide disaster, knowledge of the distribution of landslide-prone areas in Semarang City, knowledge through education, local wisdom, and use of technology is 87. Hence, it is very good, while the average result of the student perception questionnaire using the LSE (Landslide Education) application is 83, so it is included in the good category. Based on these results, using the LSE (Landslide Education) application effectively increases Senior High School 12 Semarang disaster knowledge.

Abstract

Mount Merapi, Indonesia's most active volcano, poses significant threats to the Stabelan Hamlet situated nearby. This study delves into the community's indigenous knowledge, residing about 3 km from Mount Merapi's summit, in confronting volcanic eruption disasters. Employing qualitative methods, the research elucidates local customs and ancestral beliefs crucial for disaster readiness. Interviews provide primary data, complemented by secondary sources like journals and news. Employing purposive sampling, data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model. Findings reveal the Stabelan Hamlet's adeptness in employing local wisdom like creating bonfires, maintaining calm during eruptions, and interpreting dreams as disaster coping mechanisms. This indigenous wisdom not only shapes preparedness but also preserves cultural heritage local wisdom, The community's receptiveness ensures the integration of traditional practices alongside contemporary disaster management strategies mandated by the government.

Abstract

One natural resource that is important to maintain is water. The increase in human population will certainly cause the need for drinking water to be very large, so water resource conservation efforts are needed which are realized in local wisdom implemented by rural communities, such as Lerep Village which is known for its Iriban local wisdom. This research aims to understand the procession of Iriban local wisdom and analyze the implementation and impact of Iriban local wisdom in spring conservation efforts in Lerep Village. This research uses qualitative descriptive research with a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation, and data analysis techniques use qualitative descriptive analysis. The research results show that (1) The Iriban tradition is one of the tourism products offered in Lerep Village to maintain and conserve water in the village area. (2) The Iriban tradition has two main phases, namely preparation and implementation of the tradition. (3) The Iriban tradition has a positive impact, namely a source of clean water in the village that is always available.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran inklusif saat ini ditekankan guna mencapai tujuan pembelajaran serta pertumbuhan pribadi bagi siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Kemudian guna mencapai hal tersebut, strategi persiapan dan implementasi pembelajaran harus matang dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai luhur dari pendidikan karakter dan profil pelajar Pancasila ke dalam materi pembelajaran, terutama terkait kearifan lokal. Media pembelajaran menjadi penunjang potensial dalam proses ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media video animasi berbantu wayang papercraft sebagai pembelajaran geografi berbasis kearifan lokal bagi siswa SLB Negeri Rembang. Metode penelitian menggunakan model Hannafin & Peck dengan purposive sampling pada siswa tunagrahita dan tunarungu yang mempelajari geografi kearifan lokal. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, angket validator, guru, dan siswa untuk menilai kelayakan dan kualitasnya, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data meliputi deskripsi kualitatif dengan reduksi, display data, kesimpulan, dan deskripsi persentase untuk data kuantitatif dari angket pada media video animasi. Hasil menunjukkan kualitas baik dari pengisian angket oleh validator pertama (100%), kedua (97,3%), guru (94,7%), serta respon mayoritas siswa yang menyatakan media tersebut menarik, praktis, dan memiliki kualitas baik dalam animasi, audio, dan tampilan. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa kualitas media video animasi berbantuan wayang kreatif yang dikembangkan layak digunakan tanpa revisi.Abstract: Inclusive learning is currently emphasized to achieve learning goals and personal growth for students with special needs. To accomplish this, preparation and implementation strategies in education need to be mature by integrating noble values from character education and the Pancasila student profile into the learning materials, particularly related to local wisdom. Learning media serves as a potential support in this process. This research aims to develop animated video media assisted by wayang papercraft as geography learning based on local wisdom for students at the Rembang State Special Needs School. The research method utilizes the Hannafin & Peck model with purposive sampling of intellectually disabled and deaf students studying local wisdom in geography. Data collection techniques involve structured interviews, closed questionnaires filled out by validators, teachers, and students to assess feasibility and quality, along with documentation. Data analysis includes qualitative description, data reduction, data display, conclusions, and percentage descriptions for quantitative data from the questionnaires on the animated video media.Results indicate good quality based on questionnaire responses from the first validator (100%), second validator (97.3%), teachers (94.7%), and the majority of student responses stating the media is engaging, practical, and of good quality in terms of animation, audio, and visuals. Consequently, it is concluded that the quality of the creatively assisted wayang video animation media developed is suitable for use without revision.

Abstract

Banjir merupakan bencana yang paling sering terjadi di Indonesia dan terjadi setiap tahunnya, terutama pada musim hujan. Sejauh ini, permasalahan terkait kerusakan yang disebabkan oleh bencana banjir masih menjadi isu utama yang belum terselesaikan, frekuensi, kedalaman, luas, atau durasi bencana banjir cenderung meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kesesuaian lahan pemukiman dan kondisi sosial masyarakat terhadap bencana banjir di Kecamatan Jebres. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan dokumentasi untuk mendapat data parameter kesesuaian lahan dan data angket untuk memperoleh data kondisi sosial. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode pembobotan untuk menganalisis spasial pada kesesuaian lahan pemukiman dan analisis deskriptif untuk menganalisis gambaran yang diperoleh pada setiap aspek kondisi sosial berupa frekuensi, rata-rata, dan persentase dalam menghitung skor yang diperoleh dari angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kondisi kesesuaian lahan tidak sesuai dengan kemiringan lereng landai agak curam, jenis tanah aluvial yang rentan terhadap genangan, erosi tanah yang cukup tinggi, intensitas curah hujan tinggi, serta jarak terhadap jalan utama yang kurang mendukung untuk aliran air. Kondisi sosial yang cukup baik, dengan penduduk yang padat, kondisi rumah tidak layak setelah banjir, kondisi pendidikan dan kesehatan menjadi terbatas. Persebaran pemukiman yang padat penduduk menjadikan wilayah ini rentan terhadap bencana banjir.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Litosfer antara penggunaan alat evaluasi digital Examtria dan Kahoot, serta mendeskripsikan pelaksanaannya di Kelas X SMA Kesatrian 2 Semarang. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi-eksperimen posttest-only dan kelompok non-ekuivalen, penelitian ini melibatkan 48 siswa sebagai sampel yang diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling dari total populasi 147 siswa. Sampel dibagi menjadi kelas eksperimen (menggunakan Examtria) dan kelas kontrol (menggunakan Kahoot), dengan instrumen berupa posttest kognitif sebanyak 25 butir soal. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen (Examtria) adalah 69,7, lebih tinggi sekitar 11,17% dibandingkan kelas kontrol (Kahoot) dengan rata-rata 62,7. Meskipun demikian, uji Chi-square (p=0,273 > 0,05) dan independent sample t-test (p=0,099 > 0,05) mengindikasikan bahwa secara statistik tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Preferensi siswa menunjukkan mayoritas lebih menyukai Kahoot karena sifatnya yang berbasis permainan dan menciptakan suasana kompetitif, sementara Examtria dinilai terlalu ketat dan menimbulkan kepanikan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan berkelanjutan aplikasi evaluasi digital seperti Examtria dan Kahoot untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih menarik dan meningkatkan partisipasi siswa.
