Abstract

Education quality is something that must be considered in the world of education, to improve the quality of education, all education units must have facilities and infrastructure in according to the standards. In schools in Serang city, there are problems regarding facilities and infrastructure, namely in the management of funds for school facilities and infrastructure. The first problem is that some schools find it difficult to submit school operational aid funds because the process is long and complicated. The second problem is that some schools also find it difficult to submit proposals for submitting funds for school facilities and infrastructure due to the distance of the school too far from the Serang City Department of Education. The third problem is the inaccurate flow of distribution funds, there are still many schools that must be immediately assisted but not covered all because the submission of school aid funds is given to schools that submit school facilities and infrastructure grants first, not schools whose conditions need help first. To solve these problems, research is carried out which is intended to build a system that is able to facilitate the submission of school facilities and infrastructure assistance and can prioritize schools that must be assisted in advance. This system is expected to be able to overcome existing problems and help improve the work efficiency of the Serang City Department of Education. This system has passed unit testing using whitebox testing, validation testing using blackbox testing which results in a 100% valid value, and compatibility testing where the results of the system can run on 8 different browsers.

Abstract

Software requirements can be defined as services that software must provide in order to support user achieving the goal of using the software. Software requirements are the basis in the software development process. In situation where the source and time are limited it is important to prioritize the requirements. Requirements prioritization shows which requirement should be implemented first and get more attention in the implementation process. A research by Umang Garg and Abhishek Singhal, a method to prioritize software requirements based on non-functional requirements is proposed. In this research, an application to prioritize software functional requirements is developed in order to help the process of requirements prioritization, the method used in this research is the one that proposed by Umang Garg and Abhishek Singhal. Requirement prioritization started with a pair-wise comparison between the non-functional requirements, and then a pairwise comparison between functional requirements with non-functional requirements, lastly the order of requirements' priority and the value of priority are obtained. The system is tested by unit testing on 3 methods of the system, integration testing, and 27 test cases on validation testing which give valid results.

Abstract

Shopping is an important activity in fulfilling everyday human needs. Currently the Indonesian people are changing their behavior in shopping by choosing to transact online rather than conventionally. Online transactions known as e-commerce. The growth of e-commerce in Indonesia is currently very high, judging by the large number of e-commerce available. In this study identified problems in e-commerce where there are many promos available, causing consumers to check e-commerce promos one by one. After observing and surveying the questionnaire in this study, respondents needed a system to collect promos from various e-commerce. Based on these problems, research was conducted to build a system that can provide information related to promos found on e-commerce, the system can collect promos from various e-commerce websites using the web scraping method. The development of this system follows the software development process that starts from the stage of needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing of the system. This system is expected to facilitate consumers in e-commerce promo searches and provide appropriate promo information. The results of unit testing, integrase testing and validation testing produce a 100% valid value. In compatibility testing the results show that the system can run on 8 different types of browsers.

Abstract

The mission of PT. KAI is conducting business activities based on 4 main pillars, namely safety, punctuality, service and comfortability. To reach these 4 pillars, the IT unit of PT. KAI operating area III Cirebon makes a procedure for handling distrubance. But this procedure is still done conventionally, so that it still has several problems such as frequent reports of disturbances that are not successfully delivered, lack of information about officers who are on duty, officers unable to report to the leader when they want to go to place of distrubance and there are no reports of device coming out of the warehouse. To deal with this problem a solution was formed in the form of a system that has the main features disturbance reporting, disturbance handling and warehouse management. Research begins with requirement engineering which analyzed to 48 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement. The next step is to make a design and implementation. This system is developed using PHP, JavaScript, CSS and HTML using MVC design patterns (Model, View, Controller) based on web. This system is equipped with progressive web application technology. This system uses a MySQL database. After implementation is finished, testing of the system is carried out. This system has been successfully tested with unit testing, integration testing, validation testing and compatibility testing. The results of the system test is 100% valid for all tests, which means the system is compatible with analysis and design result.

Abstract

In rental services, activity that usually do by rental provider are item ordering, item taking, item returning, item checking, and bookkeeping. Nowadays, many rental providers have difficulties for running their business activity, such as item scheduling, order recording, differences between item inventory and routine bookkeeping that causes losses and problems with customers. Moreover, the rental providers have limited infrastructure, by keep using rental note, whiteboard, and Microsoft Excel software for bookkeeping. Therefore, the rental providers need an rental management application which is independent in order to not depend on infrastructure or need more infrastructure, so that the service providers can only use smartphone without adding other infrastructure to manage rental services. This application designed using OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design) method and REST web service. Designing this application include service design, architecture design, component design, data design, user interface design, and application design architecture. This design of application has been tested using Traceability Matrix, (Coupling Between Object Classes) CBO, (Response for a Class) RFC, (Lack of cohesion in methods1) LCOM1 metrics, and (Lack of cohesion in methods2) LCOM2 metrics. The result of this application design has low coupling because of the CBO's average value<=5 and RFC's average value<=100 so it have high understandability and low cohesion because of LCOM>1. The result of this application design also has high adaptability because of the CBO's average value is between 1 and 3, RFC's average value between 1 and 69, and fulfill LCOM2's value between 0 and 1. Furthermore, all artifacts are made based on the use case that was made before, because each column and row in the traceability matrix have a value of 1.

Abstract

Brawijaya University has one central library and several smaller libraries in each of its faculties, including a library located in the Faculty of Computer Science which is commonly called a Reading Room. Currently, Reading Room management is done by using an open source software called Senayan Library Management System (SLIMS). The use of SLIMS is deemed not quite helpful because the membership system cannot be connected with the student database that is owned by the faculty which make it difficult to check the students's status when they are going to make transactions. In addition, the Reading Room does not have collection data, especially thesis, to be seen by students online, making it difficult for students who want to find data outside of the Reading Room's working hours. As a solution, a web-based Reading Room Management System was developed. This system has features for managing collection data and reading room transactions with member data that is integrated with the faculty. In addition, this system can be used by students to search collection data including thesis data online. This research begins with requirements engineering process that produces 59 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement. Then, the system design is carried out. The implementation is done using Django framewok. From the testing process, the results are 100% valid for unit testing, integration, and validation. As for usability testing, the value of 82.92 means that the Reading Room Management System falls into the 'A'.

Abstract

In this modern era, information technology has developed very rapidly. So that it affects the strength of the business sector, including the sports rental business. Now, to implement adequate information technology, small and large sports venues do not need to worry about allocating large amounts of funds. With the aim of making a profit and being able to compete in a wider market. One of them is using online-based information technology called e-commerce. The development of e-commerce is also accompanied by the development of payment gateways. The combination of e-commerce and payment gateways is expected to be a solution to the problems that exist in the sports rental business that is currently happening. The first problem that occurs is that there is a buyer who finds it difficult to find a sporting place around him in accordance with his wishes. The second problem is the recording of sports booking transactions that are still done manually so that the owner of a sports venue often has difficulty managing the transactions that are in the place of his sport. Because the problem above, PlayOn software was developed. With the leasing business process between the owner of the gym to the customer (B2C) and the customer to the customer (C2C). With the creation of this software, the hope of the above problems can be resolved. The system has been tested by unit testing, integration testing, and validation testing and producing a 100% valid value. In testing compatibility in getting the results that the software can be run there are all types of browsers and Android and iOS devices.

Abstract

The functional position of the lecturer is the position of the lecturer based on the , responsibilities, duties, rights and authority in Higher Education based on certain expertise and individual nature. While rank is a position that shows the level of an employee based on his position in a series of staffing and is used as a base for payroll. In the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya (FILKOM) from the field findings of several FILKOM lecturers that the lecturer had many activities. Then when the file validation and verification process in the FILKOM employee proposed a frequent error so that it did not have time to process further revisions in collecting files in 4 fields and administrative files for proposed promotions and / or functional positions. Coupled with the lecturer still doing the AK calculation manually by looking at the guide so that it allows even fatal calculation errors can be mistaken in the calculation of AK in each activity. In this study aims to help FILKOM lecturers in collecting 4 fields of files, assisting in the validation and verification of 4 fields of files, monitoring the status of proposals, and also assisting lecturers in calculating AK lecturers' activities automatically based on AK assessment guidelines. In this study using a prototyping approach. And in its implementation, it applies dummy webservice to retrieve BKD file data, Universitas Brawijaya staff and lecturers, especially FILKOM. The results of this study were obtained twenty-eight functional requirements and one non-functional requirement obtained from 1 prototyping iteration process. From the results of unit testing, integration and compatibility testing of the browser environment, the results are 100% valid.

Abstract

The Faculty of Computer Science, Brawijaya University (FILKOM) has public and equipment affair sub section, which is responsible for handling complaints and maintenance services at FILKOM. In handling these responsibilities, public and equipment affair sub section have difficulties due to a mechanism that has not run optimally. This resulted in complaints come from various sources so that it could not be recorded properly and complainants often complained about the handling of complaints that had been reported. In handling maintenance, the data collection history of an inventory is still not maximal. In order for the implementation of these functions to run optimally, a container for complaint complaints and maintenance scheduling is needed. One solution is develop an Android-based service complaint and maintenance (PLM) application. This development starts with requirement engineering that makes 18 functional and 2 non-functional requirement and 3 actor roles. In development process, the PLM application applies the waterfall method because the requirements have been defined as a whole at the beginning. The design process is done by object-oriented modeling and program implementation using java language on Android Studio and implementing data using Firebase. Based on the testing, the results obtained 100% for unit testing, validation, and compatibility and obtained usability testing with value of 100% for the task scenario and 97.2% for the USE questionnaire method.

Abstract

Field Work Practice (PKL) is one of academic activities that must be carried out by students of Faculty of Computer Science Universitas Brawijaya (FILKOM UB) in completing their studies. The purpose of this activity is to synchronize between campus academic education with students' mastery of hard skills and soft skills in the form of direct interaction with community and working worldIn order to do PKL, procedure is divided into 3 phases, namely registration, implementation, and reporting. In implementing the PKL procedure, there are several problems faced. From students' perspective, the problems include too many physical forms that must be handled and a quite long path of submitting PKL. The PKL's lecturer supervisors problem was during the supervision process of his student. While the problem of academic staff is make sure whether the PKL has held according to the procedures. Based on the problem discussed, this research is held to develop the system that can facilitate the implementation of PKL procedures in order to provide simplicity during the process. In requirement engineering process, there were 59 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement obtained. Then do the preparation and implementation phases. This system is implemented into a web-based application that is built using the programming languages ​​PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript by using the Laravel framework. This system has been tested with unit, integration and validation testing with 100% valid results for all tests, and compatibility testing with the results of the system can run on 5 different test browsers.
