Abstract

Kontrasepsi suntik Depo Medroxy Progesterone Acetate (DMPA) salah satu metode kontrasepsi yang banyak digunakan pasangan usia subur. Ketidaktepatan pemilihan alat kontrasepsi dapat menimbulkan menimbulkan diskontinuitas penggunaan dan berakibat kegagalan kontrasepsi. Penyedia layanan kesehatan harus memahami hal-hal yang memengaruhi pemilihan sehingga dapat memberikan edukasi yang tepat terkait dengan pemilihan metode kontrasepsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemilihan kontrasepsi suntik DMPA. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 36 akseptor KB suntik DMPA yang dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari faktor individu lebih dari 50% responden berusia 21-35 tahun dan lebih dari 50% responden merupakan keluarga dengan ekonomi rendah, dari faktor kesehatan : lebih dari 50% responden memiliki anak 2 dan masih memiliki keinginan untuk memiliki anak kembali sehingga tujuan penggunaan kontrasepsi adalah menjaga jarak kehamilan dengan jarak >2 tahu, dari faktor kontrasepsi : Sebagian besar responden (75,8%) mengalami efek samping dalam penggunaan kontrasepsi dengan efek samping terbanyak adalah gangguan menstruasi dan Responden terbanyak (30,3%) memilih KB DMPA karena alasan murah/hemat dan faktor lain Lebih dari 50% responden mendapatkan informasi awal tentang kontrasepsi DMPA adalah dari petugas kesehata. Bagi petugas kesehatan disarankan dalam memberikan konseling kepada calon akseptor KB perlu memperhatikan latar belakang calon akseptor terutama terkait dengan usia dan tujuan KB sehingga lebih bisa memilih alat kontrasepsi secara lebih rasional.

Abstract

Abstract: Breastfeeding is the best way to meet the nutritional needs for the growth and development of infants. Breastfeeding plays a role in cognitive, sensory, motor development and protection against infections and chronic diseases, but various obstacles are still found in the community. The study focused on the experience of ineffective breastfeeding among working mothers in Pucangsongo Village. Design of this study was Qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data was collected by interviewing five nurses and observing data in the field to obtain primary data and reviewing Pucangsongo Polindes documents to obtain secondary data. Triangulation of research data is done by triangulation of sources and methods. Data analysis through the stages of data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions and notifications. Results of this study were obstacles faced by working mothers who experience problems with ineffective breastfeeding include the availability of advice and infrastructure for breastfeeding in the workplace. Failure to breastfeed for working mothers, namely busyness during work or company policies that are not cooperative in providing sufficient time for mothers to express breast milk. Health workers such as midwives also affect the experience of ineffective breastfeeding. Health workers have a very important role in protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding businesses and must be seen in terms of their broad involvement in social aspects. Abstract

Abstract: Constipation is a side effect on the gastrointestinal system that often occurs in patients treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Constipation is a problem that has not been given much special attention. Abdominal massage is one of the complementary therapies that can increase the movement of the gastrointestinal system. The results obtained from the application of abdominal massage are a decrease in the incidence of constipation. The method used is an approach to 5 research journals on abdominal massage to reduce constipation in patients treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The journal obtained shows that abdominal massage therapy can overcome constipation problems. The journal results obtained also showed that there were improvements in several other gastrointestinal tract indicators such as gastric residual volume, abdominal circumference, abdominal tension, and others. There is one journal that can be used as one of the Evidence Based Nursing (EBN) in clinical services, especially in the intensive care unit (ICU). Abstract

Artikel pengabdian ini membahas tentang Sosialisasi dan Pelatihan Resusitasi Jantung Paru pada Mahasiswa Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga Universitas Negeri Malang sebagai upaya peningkatan kompetensi lulusan. Hal ini dilakukan karena tingginya prevalensi henti jantung, khususnya pada atlet ketika bertanding di lapangan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini agar mahasiswa mampu menguasai pertolongan pertama pada henti jantung. Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian ini melalui tiga tahap, yaitu sosialisasai materi, demonstrasi dan praktikum, serta evaluasi. Selama kegiatan, 71 mahasiswa yang menjadi peserta dibagi menjadi 2 kelas. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan memberikan penugasan video praktikum secara individu. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan mahasiswa sangat antusias dalam mengikuti setiap kegiatan yang ditunjukkan dengan banyaknya pertanyaan selama sosialisasi materi dan keaktifan untuk dikoreksi ketika mempraktikkan resusitasi jantung paru. Selain itu, dengan kegiatan ini diharapkan mahasiswa mampu memberikan pertologan pertama yang tepat ketika menemukan kejadian gagal jantung terutama pada kegiatan olahraga. Mahasiswa diharapkan meningkatkan kompetensi resusitasi jantung paru dengan mengikuti pelatihan yang tersertifikasi sehingga kemampuan yang dimiliki dapat dilakukan pada maysarakat luas, tidak terbatas pada olahraga saja.

Abstract

Objective:  To identify the relationship of weight gains between two dialysis periods levels with muscle cramps in patients during hemodialysis.Methods:  This was a descriptive analytical study, which 90 patients undergoing HD was recruited using consecutive sampling.Results: There is a relationship between weight gains between two dialysis periods levels and muscle cramps at the 4th hour of hemodialysis (pvalue  < α; α = 0.05). Based on this study, weight gains between two dialysis times was associated with muscle cramps at the 4th hour of hemodialysis.Conclusion:  Based on this study, weight gain between two dialysis times was associated with muscle cramps at the 4th hour of hemodialysis. Hospitals need to establish regulations in the form of clinical guidance on monitoring patient complaints every hour during hemodialysis.

Abstract

Objective:    Posyandu success in facilitating and providing health services is the main goal of Posyandu. The government's efforts have not only increased the coverage of mothers and toddlers, but also increased the knowledge, skills, and motivation of the community, especially Posyandu health cadres. The aim of this research is to identify the motivation of cadres in carrying out posyandu activities.Methods:Research design The type of research used is analytic and the type of approach used is descriptive. The variables used were achievement, responsibility, supervision, mother's wishes, and relationships between friends, while the sample was 138 respondents using simple random sampling. The analysis was carried out univariately using frequency distribution tablesResults:  The results of the study based on the number of samples were 138 respondents, so the achievement variable showed that more than half of the samples had sufficient achievement, namely 79 people (57.2%). The responsibility variable is almost half having less responsibility, 67 people (48.6%). Supervision variable obtained more than half of non-routine supervision as many as 96 people (69.6%). The mother's desire variable has the sufficient category, almost half of 96 people (69.6%). While the relationship variable between friends is obtained, more than half of the cadres have less relationships as many as 75 people (54.3%) Conclusion:  Based on the results of the study, it was found that the motivation of cadres in carrying out posyandu activities could be increased in the variables in this study, namely achievement, responsibility, mother's wishes, relations between cadres and also supervision. The existence of cadres is important in posyandu activities, so there should be regulations and efforts to increase the motivation of cadres in carrying out posyandu activities. In addition, it is necessary to periodically evaluate and monitor the motivation of cadres.

Abstract

Perbaikan sistem budidaya bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.) sangat penting dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas lahan sekaligus menekan angka impor. Salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan pupuk hayati PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Pajeng Kecamatan Gondang Kabupaten Bojonegoro menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial. Faktor 1 adalah varietas: varietas Manjung dan Bauji. Faktor 2 adalah konsentrasi PGPR: 0 ml/l, 5 ml/l, 10 ml/l, 15 ml/l, dan 20 ml/l. Terdapat 10 perlakuan kombinasi yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Pengamatan yang dilakukan terdiri dari peubah pertumbuhan (non destruktif) dan pengamatan hasil (destruktif). Pengamatan pertumbuhan meliputi panjang tanaman, luas daun, jumlah anakan, dan jumlah daun. Sedangkan pengamatan hasil meliputi jumlah umbi per rumpun, diameter umbi, bobot segar brangkasan per rumpun dan per hektar, bobot kering brangkasan per rumpun dan per hektar, dan bobot kering umbi per hektar. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA), yang di uji lanjut dengan Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) 5%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa  Varietas Manjung menghasilkan umbi bawang merah lebih tinggi dengan hasil bobot segar brangkasan 56,6 g/rumpun dan bobot kering brangkasan 46,2 g/rumpun dibanding varietas Bauji (bobot basah 44,13 g/rumpun dan bobot kering 35 g/rumpun). Aplikasi PGPR pada konsentrasi 20 ml/l menunjukkan hasil bobot segar brangkasan 63,17 g/rumpun dan bobot kering brangkasan 52 g/rumpun dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Hasil umbi bawang merah per hektar menunjukkan hasil yang lebih tinggi dengan konsentrasi PGPR 20 ml/l pada kedua varietas yang diuji (Manjung 9,39 ton/ha dan Bauji 7,59 ton/ha).

Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this service is to facilitate sports coaching education alumni to hone quality and add insight into sports coaching in the field of sport medicine (sports health) so that they can analyze the health status of athletes in carrying out a given training program, can find out the design of exercises that are suitable for the growth and development of athletes, and handling post-injury athletes. Design/methodology/approach – In this service activity using the lecture method by conveying material about sports health, practicing material that has been obtained from resource persons, providing implementation support by conducting implementation assistance, measuring results through comparison of pre-test and post-test scores given, and following up on results by analyzing the data obtained from the results of the pre-test and post-test. Findings – From this community service activity, the results of the pre-test data analysis showed a percentage of 50.5%, after being converted using the criteria table, it can be concluded that the results of the pre-test data are included in the fairly effective category. While the analysis of the post-test data shows a percentage of 81.33%, after being converted using the criteria table, it can be concluded that the results of the post-test data are included in the very effective category. This shows that there is an increase in knowledge of alumni after the implementation of sports health hybrid training and being given products in the form of videos on sports health material. The video can be used as a guide or literature reference by sports coaching education alumni when they are in the field to manage the health and nutrition of athletes and students. Originality/value – Previous articles were limited to delivering exercise physiology material. Therefore, the community service team carries out strengthening the sports health science approach which includes nutrition and sports material, sports injury first aid, splint dressing, and physical activity in children which is carried out in a hybrid manner. The results of the dedication of the team proposing this activity are expected to produce professional trainers who are ready to compete in the world of sports coaching.

Abstract

Abstrak: Peningkatan kualitas bulutangkis di Indonesia dapat dilakukan dengan diselenggarakannya turnamen bulu tangkis, salah satunya Insersio Cup 2023. Pada setiap penyelenggaraan turnamen olahraga wajib melibatkan tim medis. Hal ini karena cedera olahraga dapat terjadi dan tidak dapat diprediksi. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memahami proses dukungan tim medis selama pelaksanaan turnamen bulutangkis Insersio Cup 2023. Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian masyarakat ini meliputi 1) Penyediaan Peralatan Medis dan Obat-obatan; 2) Kerjasama dengan Pihak Terkait; 3) Penempatan Pos Tim Medis; 4) Layanan Medis: dan 5) Edukasi Kesehatan. Turnamen Insersio Cup 2023 diikuti oleh 277 peserta, dimana kategori tunggal anak putra menjadi peserta yang paling banyak (26.4%). Cedera selama turnamen Insersio Cup 2023 yaitu sprain pergelangan kaki, kram otot betis dan kram otot paha, dimana kram otot betis menjadi cedera yang paling banyak (50%). Peran pendampingan tim medis sangat penting dalam turnamen olahraga, terutama dalam memberikan pertolongan pertama cedera olahraga sehingga cedera tidak menjadi lebih parah dan pemulihan dapat melalui proses yang cepat.   Abstract: Enhancing the quality of badminton in Indonesia can be achieved by organizing badminton tournaments, including the Insersio Cup 2023. In every sports tournament, it is mandatory to involve a medical team, as sports injuries can occur and are unpredictable. This community service aims to understand the process of medical team support during the implementation of the badminton tournament Insersio Cup 2023. The methods employed in this community service include 1) Provision of Medical Equipment and Medications, 2) Collaboration with Relevant Parties, 3) Placement of Medical Team Stations, 4) Medical Services, and 5) Health Education. The Insersio Cup 2023 tournament had 277 participants, with the Men's Singles category having the highest number of participants (26.4%). Injuries during the Insersio Cup 2023 tournament included ankle sprains, calf muscle cramps, and thigh muscle cramps, with calf muscle cramps being the most common injury (50%). The medical team's assistance is crucial in sports tournaments, especially in providing first aid for sports injuries to prevent them from worsening and facilitating a speedy recovery process.

Assistance for school children will help all groups to prevent the recurrence of the leprosy endemic in the area Karangploso Community Health Center. Stage First is stage preparation. Stage This started from process planning which includes identifying needs or problems. From the results of the interview with Community Health Center officers in the P2P polyclinic and Promkes sections, results were obtained that the Ketawang Community Health Center has never conducted leprosy detection training child.
