Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the significant differences between the Jigsaw learning model and the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) learning model in terms of cooperative skills in 5th grade mathematics subjects at SD Sudirman Salatiga Cluster. This type of research is quasi experimental research or quasi-experimental research. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis techniques and T-Test statistical analysis. The results of the study using the T-Test, the value of tcount was 3.023 and t table 1.995 with a significance level of 0.002. Because the probability value of 0.002 is less than 0.05, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that the cooperative skills using the Jigsaw model are significantly higher than the STAD model in SD Sudirman Salatiga Cluster. This finding is supported by the average posttest score of the Jigsaw class at 77.93 and the average posttest score of the STAD class at 68.41.Keywords: Jigsaw, STAD, Cooperation Skills

Abstract

ABSTRACT :The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences of Number Head Together and Snowball Throwing learning method types reviewed from the fifth grades of Elementary School in Ki HajarDewantoro learning outcomes in Mathematic. The type of the research is quasi research. The variable of the study was free variable which were Number Head Together (X1) and Snowball Throwing (X2­) learning types and The bound variable used in the study was the students’ Mathematic learning outcomes. The analysis technique used in the study were the descriptive technique and statistical analysis with ANCOVA Test. The result of ANCOVA Test are Fcount is 5,398 and the significant is 0,0230. It indicatest that the probability is 0,023 is less than 0,05 so it means that the impact of the NHT learning method types is more higher significant than Snowball Throwing learning method types. Keyword :Number Head Together learning method, snowball throwing learning method, learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: This study are aims to improve the critical thinking skills and students’ learning outcomes using the Science, Technology, and Society (STS) learning model on the 5th grade students of SDN Dukuh 05 Salatiga. The type of this research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The data were collected through tests, observations, and documentations. The instrument that used in this research is questionnaire sheets of critical thinking skills with the total of 25 statements and the evaluation questions with the total of 20 questions. The data analysis was carried out by qualitative and quantitative analysis. This research was conducted in two cycles. Obtaining the mean score of critical thinking skills of students in the first cycle are 62, 96 (enough). Then in the second cycle increased to 75 (high). Furthermore, the students’ learning outcomes also increase, which can be seen from the grade mean scores and the number of students who get score above the Minimum Criteria of Mastery Learning ≥ 66. Ratio of the percentage of completeness in the first cycle is 48% with the mean score of 70.2, then in the cycle II increased to 84% with the mean score of 80.8. In this research was concluded that critical thinking skills and learning outcomes are improved after the learning action of the Science, Technology, and Society (STS) learning model. Keywords: Critical thinking, Science, Technology, and Society (STS).

Abstract

Pendidikan diabad 21 merupakan pembelajaran untuk mempersiapkan generasi yang mengedapankan kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) sebagai media untuk siswa dalam mengembangkan produk berupa buku kata bergambar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mengembangkan produk untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa SD Kelas II. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian R&D (Research and Development) yang mengacu pada model desain pengembangan ASSURE, yaitu : analys learner, state objectivitas, select method & media or materials, utilize media and materials, require learner participation,dan juga evaluate and revise. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam memperoleh data kualitas media yaitu: lembar validasi ahli materi, lembar validasi ahli media, dan lembar validasi ahli rancangan pembalajaran. Keberasilan pengembangan media ini dapat ditinjau dari segi validitas, efektifitas, dan praktis. Hasil penelitian pengembangan media ini dapat dilihat dari tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis buku kata bergambar berbasis android untuk meningkatakan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas II sekolah dasar. Oleh ahli media, keefektifan pengembangan media dapat di peroleh rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 78,6 % dengan “kategori tinggi”. Ahli materi diperoleh rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 98% dengan kategori “Sangat tinggi”. Oleh ahli rancangan pembelajaran diperoleh rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 75% dengan kategori “tinggi”. Dapat di simpulkan bahwa media buku kata bergambar berbasis Android untuk meningkatakan kemampuan menulis siswa dan memiliki “kategori tinggi” sehingga dikategorikan “layak” diuji cobakan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran Make a Match dan Card Sort berbantuan puzzle ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa kelas 4 di SD Gugus Diponegoro. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis kuasi eksperimen. Hasil nilai signifikansi diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,022 dan sign.(1-tailed) 0,0105 dengan thitung 2,328. Nilai probabilitas lebih kecil dari 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan diterimaHa, artinya hasil belajar materi tematik dalam penerapan model pembelajaran Make A Match berbantuan puzzle lebih unggul daripada model pembelajaran Card Sort. Hasil hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa Ho ditolak, hasil rata–rata nilai posttest eksperimen 1 lebih tinggi dari posttest eksperimen 2 mendukunghasil uji hipotesis yang menyatakan adanya perbedaan hasil signifikan.Data komparasi nilai posttest eksperimen 1 adalah 81,22 sedangkan rata-ratanilai posttest eksperimen 2 adalah 74,50.Abstract: The purpose of this study was to knowing the effectiveness of Make a Match and Card Sort learnng models with assisted puzzle reviewed from the 4th graders of primary school learning outcome in Diponegoro’s Cluster. The technique used in this study was quasi experimental.the sig. (2-tailed) was 0,022 and the sig. (1-tailed) was 0,0105 and tcount were 2,328. the Propability were smaller than 0,05 so H0 was rejected and Hawere accepted, it means learning outcome in thematic topic using Make A Match with assisted puzzle learning model was higher than using Card Sort learning model. Hypotheses result showed that Ho is rejected, the average of first experimental class posttest is higher than the second experimental class support the hypotheses test which explained that there were a significant differences. Comparation posttest’s values in first experimental class were 81,22 and then the second experimental class were 74,50.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk menguji ada tidaknya perbedaan secara signifikan hasil belajar matematika kelas 4 SD dalam pembelajaran menggunakan model discovery learning dan problem based learning di Gugus Slamet Riyadi Ampel-Boyolali. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimental) dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas 4 SD Gugus Slamet Riyadi Ampel-Boyolali. Sampel penelitian yang diambil yaitu siswa kelas 4 SDN 1 Kaligentong (SD inti), siswa kelas 4 SDN 2 Urutsewu  dan siswa kelas 4 SDN 3 Urutsewu. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Uji-T. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian serta analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar menggunakan model discovery learning lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibanding model pembelajaran problem based learning. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dari hasil uji thitung sebesar -2,282 dengan diperoleh signifikasi sebesar 0,026 lebh kecil dari α = 0,05  (0,026 < 0,05), karena nilai signifikasi (2-tailed) pada independent sample t test lebih kecil dari 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Oleh karena model discovery learning lebih efektif maka guru disarankan mengunakan model tersebut guna meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Abstract:  This study aims to examine the significant differences of mathematics learning result at 4th grade elementary school in Gugus Slamet Riyadi Ampel-Boyolali which used discovery learning and problem based learning method. This study is quasi experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The data collection of this study is allt 4th grade elementary school students in Gugus Slamet Riyadi Ampel-Boyolali, but the sample used is 4th grade students at SDN 2 Urutsewu and SDN 3 Urutsewu. The method of collecting data used is observation and questionnaires. The technique of analyzing data uses T-test method. Based on the result of the study, it is concluded that learning result using discovery learning method has significant result than problem based learning method. The result can be seen that the result of Thitung has 2,282 with 0,026 singnification which means it is less than α =0,05 (0,026<0,05). The value of Sig.2-tailed at independent sample t-test is less than 0,05, so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion of this study is that discovery learning more effective and teachers are suggested to use that method in teaching-learning activity so that the students’ learning result increase.

Abstract

Pembelajaran daring dan luring muncul sebagai bentuk pola dalam pembelajaran di era sekarang ini sebagai akibat dari pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian eksperimen semu non-equivalent design ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan signifikan antara pembelajaran daring dengan pembelajaran luring dilihat dari hasil belajar. Teknik yang digunakan untuk pengambilan sampel adalah jenis nonprobability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II sekolah dasar. Instrumen pengumpulan data terdiri dari instrumen soal tes dan observasi kegiatan guru dan siswa. Nilai signifikasi normal pada uji normalitas dan terdistribusi homogen pada uji homogenitas. Hasil uji t menghasilkan thitung kelompok eksperimen 1 sebesar 5,060 dan kelompok eksperimen 2 memiliki nilai 0,000. Hal tersebut berarti bahwa hasil belajar dengan digunakannya pembelajaran secara daring lebih unggul secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran secara luring kelas II SD Gugus Palagan. Hasil tersebut didukung oleh rata-rata nilai posttest pada pembelajaran daring yaitu 90,51 dan rata-rata nilai posttest pada pembelajaran luring  yaitu 83,77

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to test the effectiveness of discovery learning models in enhancing critical thinking skills in learning subtheme changes in the energy shape of third grade students of the Sudirman Elementary School. This type of research is quasi experiment or quasi experiment. The research design used was static-group comparison. The results of the study used the t test with a significance level of 5% showing tcount 2.943> t table 3.160 with the significance value indicating sig <0.05 (0.004 <0.05), then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. So it was concluded that the discovery learning model was effective in increasing the critical thinking skills of students in class III of Sudirman Elementary School.

Abstract

In this study using Meta-analysis research which aims to determine whether the STAD and Jigsaw learning models have a high influence on improving the cooperative attitude of class V SD. The technique used is the Effect Size technique analysis with the Effect Size formula. The instrument used was the coding data instrument. The variable used to obtain information about the effect size of the Meta Analysis research. From the results of the research that has been done, it shows that the results of the Jigsaw learning model are higher than the STAD learning model, which means that the Jigsaw learning model is more effective in increasing the collaboration attitude of class V SD. Judging from the Ancova test, the average value of Experiment 2 Jigsaw learning model is 70.7505 higher than the STAD 66.6113 learning model. Based on the results of the calculation of the hypothesis using the Ancova test using Univariate which shows that the significance value is 0.001, which means less than 0.05 (0.001 <0.05). From the Ancova test, it shows that F count> F table, namely 11.717 with a significance of 0.001 <0.05, which indicates that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the results of this test, it shows that the Effect Size of the Jigsaw learning model is significantly larger than the STAD learning model in terms of the cooperative attitude of class V SD.

Abstract

This research uses a type of meta-analysis. The implementation was carried out from February to March 2021. There were 18 article data analyzed, nine research on Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning models and nine Problem Solving learning models. The average percentage of the PBL learning model from the low 2% was the highest 18.09% the average was 11.30%. While the percentage value of the Problem Solving learning model from the low is 2.62% and the highest is 21.06% the average is 8.43%. The results of the hypothesis using the Ancova test, namely Univariate, stated a significant value of 0.001, which means that it is smaller than 0.05 (0.001 <0.05). From the Ancova test, it states that f count> f table is 15,539> 6.74 and the significance is 0.001 <0.05, which indicates that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The results of the hypothesis state that there is a significant difference in applying the Problem Based Learning and Problem Solving learning models to the critical thinking skills of class V students in mathematics.
