Abstract

Metode pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan secara monoton pada proses pembelajaran mata pelajaran IPS membuat peserta didik menjadi jenuh, bosan, serta pasif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, sehingga menimbulkan minat belajar dan hasil belajar yang kurang maksimal. Tujuan pada penelitian ini ialah pertama, Untuk mengetahui minat belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode outdoor study pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas VIII di MTsN 4 Tulungagung. Kedua, Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar dengan metode outdoor study pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas VIII di MTsN 4 Tulungagung. Penelitian ini memakai penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian quasi experimental design. Hasil dari penelitian ialah (1) terdapat pengaruh signifikan terkait penerapan metode outdoor study terhadap minat belajar (2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terkait penerapan metode outdoor study terhadap hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penerapan variasi dalam metode pembelajaran sangatlah berpengaruh pada minat dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII MTsN 4 Tulungagung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud menyelidiki tiga aspek utama. Pertama, mengevaluasi kemampuan literasi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Srengat. Kedua, menilai pencapaian akademik siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPS. Ketiga, mengeksplorasi dampak kemampuan literasi terhadap prestasi belajar mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan melibatkan kelas VII-I dipilih sebagai sampel. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui angket tentang literasi dan tes tertulis mengenai pencapaian akademik dalam mata pelajaran IPS. Analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, heteroskedastisitas, linearitas, dan uji regresi. Penelitian ini menemkan fakta bahwa kemampuan literasi dan pencapaian akademik dalam IPS siswa berada pada tingkat yang memuaskan, dengan rata-rata masing-masing sebesar 46,225 dan 65,16. Selain itu, temuan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi berpengaruh terhadap pencapaian mata pelajaran IPS, hal ini dibuktukan oleh output SPSS regresi linier dengan nilai sig.= 0,008. Lebih lanjut, nilai t hitung yang melebihi t tabel (2,858 > 2,045), dan R Square sebesar 0,220 menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membaca dan menulis memberikan kontribusi sekitar 22% output pembelajaran IPS.

Abstract

Kurangnya keragaman media pembelajaran yang digunakan guru untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS mendasari penelitian ini. Kurang variatifnya media pembelajaran akan mengakibatkan siswa merasa mengantuk, bosan dan tidak memperhatikan guru ketikan sedang menjelaskan. Maka dari itu, perlu adanya media pembelajaran yang mampu melibatkan seluruh siswa dalam setiap pembelajaran sehingga membuat siswa ikut berperan aktif ketika pembelajaran di kelas. Salah satu bentuk media pembelajaran yang dapat dimanfaatkan adalah media pembelajaran Quizizz Paper Mode. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan media pembelajaran Quizizz Paper Mode pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas VII di SMPN 1 Sanankulon Blitar. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimental, yakni Quasi Eksperimental Research serta menerapkan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Sanankulon Blitar khususnya di kelas VII D adalah subyek pada penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan lembar observasi dengan bantuan SPSS 26, berupa tes syarat berupa uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil pada penelitian ini terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kondisi sebelum digunakannya media pembelajaran Quizizz Paper Mode dan sesudah digunakannya media pembelajaran tersebut terhadap aktivitas siswa di kelas control VII E dan kelas eksperimen VII D yang diketahui bahwa Sig. (2-tailed) 0,013 dan 0,022. Dengan demikian, terdapat cukup bukti yang memaparkan bahwa Ho dapat ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Quizizz Paper Mode dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas tujuh di SMPN 1 Sanankulon Blitar.

Abstract

The Homo Wajakensis Site and Tulungagung Regional Museum are historical sites and historical museums that can be used to study the preliterate or prehistoric period. Many sources say that Homo Wajakensis was found in the Boyolangu District, Tulungagung Regency. This is wrong because from research that researchers can or obtain is that Homo Wajakensis was found in Gamping Village, Campurdarat District, Tulungagung Regency. The aims of this research are (1) to find out in depth about the homo wajakensis site and the Tulungagung regional museum; (2) for the use of the Homo Wajakensis site and the Tulungagung regional museum as a history learning medium for students; (3) for teachers' best practices in teaching history in schools; (4) for student responses in learning history by utilizing the Homo Wajakensis site and the Tulungagung regional museum. The results of this research are (1) the researcher knows in depth about the homo wajakensis site and the Tulungagung regional museum, especially the truth about where it was found; (2) the homo wajakensis site and the Tulungagung regional museum as a medium for learning history for students are the best solution in increasing student motivation; (3) sites and museums are the best learning media for teacher practice in teaching history in schools; (4) students, especially students at SMA Kauman (a Senior High School) class X and also SMP Srengat (a Junior High School) class VII, seem more interested in practical learning or seeing objects directly historical objects at the Homo Wajakensis site and the Tulungagung Regional Museum.

Abstract

The phenomenon of migration is a phenomenon that is often found in people's lives as an alternative action to make a move for a specific purpose, including work. Migration is one of the causes of population movement between regions. The development gap between cities and villages continues to be a driving force for migration. It is inevitable that every human being would want to have a comfortable place to live with adequate facilities, for example there are places for entertainment, sports, education, and so on. The era of globalization has also removed barriers for everyone to migrate between countries and even continents. International migration of labor can be interpreted as the movement of individuals from one country to another with the aim of getting a job. Globalization also makes people to carry out mobility with various reasons they have. Problems with migration also do not include the problems of the destination (recipient) country, but also the country of origin, where after the immigrants return to their country of origin it becomes a problem that must be resolved. priority so that they have a high quality and level of competitiveness as well as gain an understanding of their rights as migrant workers. The results of this study are to obtain information about the number of people migrating out of the Tulungagung Regency area and its impact on the economic sector in the Tulungagung Regency area because migration greatly influences the opportunities and challenges in the region.

Abstract

The problem in this country would have an impact on social life. Most of a person likely to take care of somebody else's problem than the problem itself. Differences in beliefs and fellow beliefs often form groups or class, so it tends to far from each other. Education social sciences play a role in promoting a peaceful life, to encourage a person to improve adaptation to each other, can improve better communication and improve one's relationship. Education social sciences to integrate various disciplines such as geography, history, sociology, economics and anthropology community. IPS implementation of learning emphasis is on the field of education, thus gaining additional knowledge on the attitudes and behaviors, values, and of good character and can play a role in people's lives and can inculcate a scientific attitude in order to solve the problems faced around. The integration of learning social studies from various disciplines social imu can be done based on a specific topic that is still associated with other disciplines. Multicultural education as a strategy to take advantage of the various cultures of different communities of students is unique or typical of students to form a multicultural attitude of mutual understanding and mutual respect so as to create a tolerant education sector. IPS study integration of education in multicultural education can contribute realize strong society in the development of globalization and uphold the basic philosophy states that diversity, make education more increased quality and more advanced.

Abstract

Indonesia, as an archipelagic nation with an extensive coastline, influences the resource potential in coastal regions, including fisheries, the fishing industry, ports, and tourism. This potential renders coastal regions a dynamic interface between land and sea. Coastal communities should consistently endorse the available potential due to their expertise, competencies, and community advancement. The improper use of natural resources and the coastal environment can lead to numerous issues and result in the depletion of potential resources. Community development in the management of coastal and marine resources can be enhanced to support tourism activities, including the provision of local souvenirs and tourist services. This study aimed to assess the potential of capture fisheries and coastal environmental resources to facilitate the development of new tourist destinations in Pacitan Regency. The qualitative research employed methods of field observation and documentation. The findings indicated that capture fisheries in 2023 generally experienced an increase, whereas the decline was attributed to climatic conditions in the southern sea, which occasionally prevented fishermen from venturing out to sea. Fisheries serve not only community requirements but also facilitate fish processing to enhance tourism activities, transforming fish into souvenirs for coastal tourism. The construction of the JLS road facilitates the development of coastal tourism destinations, although certain areas remain challenging to access from the main road. Surfing sports tourism is a prominent destination, predominantly attracting international tourists. A classification of hugging beaches offers developmental prospects for ports and diverse marine tourism in Pacitan Regency.

Abstract

Livestock farming is an important sector in Indonesia, both economically and socially, in every community. The livestock sector supports and supplements the livelihoods of people who spend their days working in the fields. Small and large-scale livestock farming must be accompanied by an understanding of proper animal care and maintenance. Looking at the data and conditions in the field, especially in Kotesan Village, Prambanan District, many people still work in the agricultural sector and most of them have livestock such as goats and cows. Several incidents and deaths of goats and cows are also often found due to a lack of education about livestock care. There is a need for supplements and the fulfillment of livestock needs that are considered easy and basic. For this reason, the UNS 106 KKN team in Kotesan Village initiated the use of alternative feed as a supplement to the main feed in the form of silage and mineral blocks. Silage is used as a supplement and mineral blocks are used as additional nutrients to supplement the minerals needed by goats and cows. Until the training on making feed was held to educate farmers in Kotesan Village to prevent deaths due to paralysis and lack of livestock nutrition. With participants from the Joint Farmer Group in Kotesan Village, the UNS 106 Community Service Program team conducted training on making alternative livestock feed, namely silage and mineral blocks.

Abstract

Indonesia is a disaster-prone country, especially in terms of geological disasters. Applying disaster education through simulation methods is expected to give the community the right knowledge and attitude toward disaster response. This study aimed to determine and analyze the knowledge and attitudes of students in higher education in responding to geological disasters through simulation learning methods. The population in this study was students of the Social Sciences Education Study Program from five Islamic universities in East Java, Indonesia, and the sample was 378 students. The method used was quantitative with univariate and bivariate data analysis. The study results from the analysis stated a significant difference between the knowledge and preparedness of geological disasters in students in the control group and the experimental group, with a P value of 0.0001. Thus, the knowledge and disaster preparedness level in students who received simulation learning was higher than in students who did not receive learning with the simulation learning model. This study implies that the simulation learning model can be used as a reference in implementing disaster education, especially in disaster-prone areas.

Abstract

This thesis is motivated by the discovery of several problems. One of them is the lack of innovation from teachers in delivering social studies learning materials. When social studies learning takes place, the teacher only uses the lecture method which is less effective. This makes some students feel bored and sleepy. Therefore, teachers need to make some efforts to make learning better. The purpose of this research is (1) the effectiveness of the application of the question and answer method to increase student activeness in social studies learning class VIII at SMPN 2 Ngantru Tulungagung school year 2023/2024 (2) the effectiveness of the application of the question and answer method to increase student learning outcomes in social studies learning class VIII at SMPN 2 Ngantru school year 2023/2024 (3) the relationship between the application of the question and answer method with student activeness and student learning outcomes in social studies learning class VIII at SMPN 2 Ngantru school year 2023/2024. This research uses a quantitative approach. The study involved a control class and an experimental class. Based on the results of the questionnaire control class and experimental class greater than 0.05 (0.077 > 0.05 and 0.169 > 0.05). So it can be concluded from the data that the student activeness of the control class and the experimental class is homogeneous for the variable application of the question and answer method to student activeness.
