Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tren global dalam penelitian tentang ketergantungan digital pada media sosial selama dekade terakhir (2015–2025) menggunakan pendekatan bibliometrik. Data dikumpulkan dari basis data Scopus dengan kata kunci seperti "ketergantungan digital," "kecanduan media sosial," "penggunaan media sosial yang bermasalah," dan istilah terkait. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak VOSviewer untuk memetakan jaringan kolaborasi ilmiah antar negara, hubungan antar kata kunci penulis, dan evolusi tematik melalui visualisasi overlay. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam jumlah publikasi sejak tahun 2021, terutama setelah pandemi COVID-19, yang mencerminkan peningkatan perhatian akademis terhadap isu ketergantungan digital. Kata kunci yang paling sering muncul meliputi kecanduan media sosial, penggunaan media sosial yang bermasalah, FoMO (Fear of Missing Out), depresi, dan kesehatan mental, yang menunjukkan dominasi perspektif psikologis dan perilaku dalam studi global. Analisis kepenulisan bersama mengungkapkan bahwa Amerika Serikat, Tiongkok, Inggris Raya, dan Turki adalah negara-negara dengan kontribusi dan kolaborasi terbanyak. Sebaliknya, Indonesia dan negara-negara Asia Tenggara lainnya masih memiliki keterlibatan penelitian yang terbatas, meskipun penggunaan media sosial di kawasan ini tinggi. Temuan ini menyoroti kesenjangan antara fenomena sosial dan perhatian akademis, menekankan perlunya mengembangkan studi tentang ketergantungan digital dari perspektif komunikasi, budaya, dan interaksi sosial agar lebih selaras dengan dinamika masyarakat digital saat ini.

Abstract

This study, entitled “The Representation of Da‘wah Values in the Dialogue and Visuals of the Film Cinta dalam Ikhlas,” aims to analyze the da‘wah values conveyed through character dialogues and their visual representations using Roland Barthes’ semiotic analysis. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a semiotic approach that examines signs through three levels of meaning: denotation, connotation, and myth. Primary data were collected through screenshots of selected film scenes, while secondary data were obtained from library research, including relevant books, academic journals, and scholarly articles. Data collection techniques involved repeated observation of the film and visual documentation. The findings indicate that the film Cinta dalam Ikhlas represents several core da‘wah values: (1) seeking guidance from Allah, (2) hijrah toward becoming a better individual, (3) love for the sake of Allah, (4) mutual assistance in goodness as an expression of ukhuwah islamiyah, (5) devotion to parents, (6) human effort (ikhtiar), and (7) sincere acceptance of Allah’s decree. This study contributes to the development of aesthetically grounded and meaningful visual media-based da‘wah strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana dakwah dijalankan di kalangan generasi Z dan seberapa efektif metode dakwah tersebut dalam membentuk pemahaman dan sikap keagamaan mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei kuisioner yang diberikan kepada 55% orang generasi Z berusia 15 hingga 24 tahun di area perkotaan khususnya di kota Palembang. Untuk mengumpulkan data, peneliti menggunakan kuesioner tertutup dan menganalisisnya dengan teknik statistik deskriptif serta korelasi sederhana. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dakwah di kalangan Gen Z cukup efektif, terutama melalui media sosial seperti Instagram, TikTok, dan YouTube yang dinilai lebih menarik dan sesuai dengan gaya hidup mereka. Meski demikian, sebagian responden masih merasa konten dakwah kurang dalam dan terkesan hanya hiburan. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dakwah di masa digital perlu menggabungkan pendekatan yang kreatif dan edukatif agar pesan keagamaan bisa diterima secara lebih baik oleh generasi Z.

Abstract

Street children remain one of the major social problems in urban areas, particularly due to their limited access to education, social support, and psychological empowerment. Previous studies on street children have predominantly focused on social welfare, education, and government intervention, while paying limited attention to the role of interpersonal communication in volunteer-based community empowerment. This study aims to analyze how the South Sumatra Children's Volunteer Community (Relawan Anak Sumatera Selatan/RASS) practices interpersonal communication to empower street children in Palembang City. The novelty of this research lies in its application of the Fundamental Interpersonal Relationship Orientation (FIRO) theory to volunteer communication practices with marginalized children. This study employed a qualitative case study approach. Research was conducted at three locations: Baiturrahman Mosque, Jalan Kanan RT/RW 007/0014-5 Ulu Kertapati, Palembang; and the RASS Secretariat, located on Jalan Demang Lebar Daun, Ilir Barat I District, Palembang City. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that interpersonal communication established by RASS volunteers plays a significant role in fostering self-confidence, social belonging, and emotional attachment among street children. The communication process reflects the three dimensions of FIRO theory: inclusion, control, and affection. Volunteers encourage children to feel accepted within a supportive community, develop positive social interactions, and build emotional connectedness that strengthens their motivation and self-empowerment. This study contributes to the development of community communication studies by demonstrating that interpersonal communication can function not only as a medium of interaction but also as a transformative strategy for social empowerment among marginalized groups.

Abstract

Digitalisasi dakwah merupakan fenomena yang muncul seiring perkembangan teknologi komunikasi dan media digital, yang memungkinkan penyebaran pesan keagamaan secara lebih luas dan interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik digitalisasi dakwah, mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang muncul, serta merumuskan strategi optimalisasi dakwah digital agar tetap moderat, efektif, dan etis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode analisis isi (content analysis) terhadap konten dakwah digital di berbagai platform media sosial dan sumber literatur keagamaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dakwah digital memiliki karakteristik fleksibel, inklusif, dan interaktif, dengan pola komunikasi yang beralih dari satu arah menjadi dua arah dan multi arah. Namun, digitalisasi dakwah juga menghadirkan permasalahan, antara lain fragmentasi dan simplifikasi pesan, kecenderungan narasi provokatif, serta rendahnya literasi digital keagamaan. Untuk itu, optimalisasi dakwah digital memerlukan strategi holistik, yaitu peningkatan kompetensi digital pendakwah, penguatan substansi dan etika dakwah, serta peningkatan literasi digital masyarakat. Dengan penerapan strategi tersebut, digitalisasi dakwah dapat berfungsi tidak hanya sebagai media penyebaran pesan, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pembentukan kesadaran keagamaan yang kritis, reflektif, dan konstruktif di era digital.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah’s cadreization has historically functioned as a strategic mechanism for producing religious, intellectual, and socially committed Muslim cadres who are able to carry the mission of tajdid. However, in the context of contemporary student organizations, cadreization faces new challenges, particularly the shifting patterns of youth communication, the rise of digital media, and the need to reinterpret da’wah approaches in ways that remain relevant to students’ social realities. Previous studies on Muhammadiyah cadreization have largely emphasized ideological formation, organizational regeneration, or normative understandings of tajdid. Meanwhile, limited attention has been given to how da’wah communication strategies are developed and practiced by the Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah (IMM) at the local level as an effort to reform cadreization. This gap is particularly important in IMM North Lampung, where da’wah activities are carried out through interpersonal communication, organizational forums, and new media platforms. This study focuses on the da’wah communication strategy of IMM North Lampung in strengthening Muhammadiyah cadreization and carrying the mission of tajdid. The concept of tajdid is understood in two dimensions: purification in matters of creed and worship, and renewal in responding to social, intellectual, and humanitarian challenges. The study examines how IMM North Lampung formulates da’wah messages, selects communication channels, builds cadre engagement, and integrates religious, intellectual, and humanistic values into its cadreization process. By highlighting da’wah communication as a strategic instrument of cadre reform, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of how Muhammadiyah’s student cadres negotiate Islamic renewal within contemporary youth and digital communication contexts.
