Abstract

The researcher interesting to analyze the error mistake in narrative text. The researcher will be using error analysis, because it is the process of determining the incidence, nature, causes and consequences of unsuccessful language. Error analysis is very important because the researcher would to the types of errors done by students on using past tense in narrative text. This qualitative research seeks to understand a scientific phenomenon related to    the interaction of human behavior in certain situations according to the views and  ways of thinking of the researchers themselves. Based on research result could be concluded that there was many errors of using past tense in translating Indonesian narrative text that made by students of Semester V of  English Education Study Program, Teacher Training and Education Faculty  of Christian University of Tentena It means that past tense sentences need to teach and practice to the student. This research was expected all element could work together to minimize the occurrence of errors by the students in writing paragraphs especially using tenses.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan dan mendeskripsikan tentang  pengembangan bahasa anak di TK Hosana Soe. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara kepada guru dan Kepala Sekolah yang berjumlah 3 orang, observasi kemampuan berbahasa anak kepada anak di Kelas B TK Hosana Soe yang berjumlah 11 orang anak.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa  pelaksanaan pengembangan bahasa anak telah berjalan dengan baik melalui strategi dan metode-metode yang telah digunakan seperti metode bercerita, bermain peran dan metode bercakap-cakap selain itu hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar anak telah baik dalam kemampuan berbahasanya, namun masih ada kendala-kendala yang dihadapi seperti kurangnya fasilitas dan kemampuan guru dalam memilih metode yang tepat

Abstract

Abstract

Character education plays a major role in forming a strong moral and ethical foundation in social and national life. This research explores the implementation of character education in various societal and national contexts, evaluates its impact on students, and analyzes the factors that influence the success of the program. Case studies are used as research designs, involving educational participants, teachers and the community. The research results show variations in the implementation of character education, with positive responses from students towards the program. The role of involved teachers and community support are key factors in the success of the program, while challenges such as limited resources need to be overcome with adaptive strategies. In the discussion, the success factors and challenges faced in implementing character education are emphasized, providing insight for the development of more effective strategies. The conclusion highlights the vital role of character education in strengthening values ​​in social and national life, with implications for developing programs that are more inclusive and responsive to local needs.

Abstract

The integration of technology into English language education has revolutionized traditional teaching methods, offering new avenues for language acquisition and cultural understanding. This literature-based article explores the effectiveness of technology-enhanced learning tools in English language education, focusing on their impact on student engagement, proficiency, and cultural competence. Through a comprehensive review of existing research, the article examines the factors influencing the success of these tools and discusses practical implications for educators and policymakers. Key findings suggest that technology-enhanced learning tools have the potential to enhance student engagement and motivation, personalize learning experiences, and provide access to authentic language use and cultural contexts. However, challenges such as unequal access to technology and the need for effective pedagogical integration remain significant considerations. The article concludes with recommendations for optimizing the use of technology in English language education to maximize its benefits and address existing challenges.

Abstract

Remote indigenous peoples are scattered in various parts of the world. Even though they live far away and isolated from other communities, they also have the same right to education. Based on the author's observations, there are still people who have not received education in the indigenous people of the Ta'a tribe in North Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. This study aims to find educational problems that occur in isolated tribes. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method, in which researchers collected data through literature studies involving various information from scientific articles and international journals. The results showed that there were three problems in the education of the Ta'a indigenous people in North Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, the first was the presence of a binding culture, the second was government policy, and the third was low support from parents.

Abstract

This literature review explores the role of technology in enhancing English speaking skills, focusing on how various technological tools such as gamification, speech recognition, and online collaboration align with the principles of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT). The review discusses the effectiveness of these tools in improving fluency, accuracy, and confidence in English language learners, while also addressing the challenges faced by both learners and educators in integrating technology into speaking-focused instruction. Furthermore, it examines how these technologies support the core CLT principle of authentic communication. The review concludes with a discussion of the pedagogical implications and future directions for the integration of technology in English speaking instruction, highlighting the importance of balancing technology use with traditional communicative practices for optimal learner outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the implementation of the round table method can help students in writing at SMA Negeri 1 Pamona Timur. The design of this research used a quantitative approach pre-experiment method with a one-group pre-test post-test design. Thus, the result can be known to be accurate, allowing one to compare the circumstances before treatment. The research results show that there is a significant difference in the score results of student tests in pre-test and post-test. So Ho rejected, and Ha accepted, meaning implementing the round table method XI MIA class impacted writing skills. This research concludes that Implementing the round table method can help students' writing skills at SMA Negeri 1 Pamona Timur. The test result that has been performed indicates that the mean value of the students increased after being treated in the round table methodthe mean value of students at pre-test 75,48 and post-test 84,57.
