Abstract

Gerakan dakwah di Indonesia masih sering diwarnai dengan praktik-praktik intoleransi. Oleh karena itu penting untuk memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif kepada para penyebar dakwah tentang nilai-nilai toleransi, dan menghargai perbedaan sehingga tidak menimbulkan kegaduhan ditengah-tengah masyarakat. Maka dalam penelitian ini akan berusaha mengkaji secara mendalam konsep toleransi dalam dakwah M. Natsir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis pendekatan studi pustaka (library research) dan pendekatan historis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsep toleransi dalam dakwah M. Natsir terimplementasikan pada tiga sasaran dakwah, yaitu dakwah kepada sesama Muslim, terdiri dari: Mencari titik persamaan sebaga titik tolak dakwah, tidak menonjolkan masalah khilafiyah dan menghindari konfrontasi, dan membangun kedekatan dengan mad’u. Dakwah kepada umat Kristen terdiri dari: Bantahan ilmiah terhadap ajaran dan propoganda Kristen, mensosialisasikan Islam yang rahmatan lil ‘alamīn, Mencari titik persamaan, dan mengusulkan modus vivendi. Dan dakwah M. Natsir dalam dunia politik dan pemerintahan terdiri dari: Toleransi terhadap pancasila, toleransi tentang Islam sebagai dasar negara, mosi integral sebagai salah satu bukti toleransi Natsir dan toleransi Natsir kepada lawan-lawan politiknya.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the characteristics of educators depicted in the Hadith of the Prophet. Educators in this era are faced with various challenges, which require them to have strong qualities in order to guide students according to the provisions of Allah SWT. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach through the literature study method. The research results show that the ideal characteristics of educators in the hadith involve the presence of deep compassion in the process of educating students, justice, a democratic approach, and dedication to providing motivation and clarity in conveying knowledge to those who need it. Through the application of these characteristics, it is hoped that the goal of education can be achieved, namely developing the potential of students so that they become individuals who are faithful, knowledgeable, creative, independent, and can become democratic and responsible citizens. Abstract

In a pluralistic society, the primary challenge lies in fostering harmony among diverse religious and cultural groups. This study aims to explore the relevance of the Medina Charter in the context of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity) as an effort to strengthen religious moderation in Indonesia. The research employs a literature review method, analyzing various sources related to the Medina Charter and the philosophy of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. The findings reveal a congruence between the principles of the Medina Charter and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, particularly in terms of recognizing diversity and providing mechanisms to manage differences for the sake of social stability. These results suggest that Islam offers a comprehensive framework for managing pluralism, which can serve as a foundation for efforts to strengthen religious moderation in Indonesia

Abstract

Written theses and dissertations must be unique scientific studies that are either completed or have not been previously investigated. The main criteria for theses and dissertations should be the determination of the title, grand theory, and research idea as well as originality, to ensure that the scientific work produced is not just testing a theory or previous research findings. However, it can contribute fresh ideas and novel research to the study of Islamic preaching. Writing theses and dissertations can also give students research expertise that they can use later on in their studies of Islamic preaching. Students will gain real new experiences through the process of discovery, study, and in-depth scientific thinking about the science of islamic preaching by studying and examining the most recent research areas. Islamic studies lecturers direct the orientation to expertise and classes in the schools overseen by this compartment in accordance with their preferences. It is preferable if Islamic studies lecturers initially have the flexibility to select their compartment. The function of developing expertise or a specific subject requires lecturers who have specialized in that area to maintain a commitment to that function or subject. Tesis dan Disertasi yang ditulis harus merupakan kajian original keilmuan yang ada atau belum pernah diteliti oleh peneliti sebelumnya. Penetuan judul, grand teori dan konsep penelitian serta orisinalitas tesis dan disertasi harus menjadi syarat utama, sehingga karya ilmiah yang dihasilkan tidak hanya sekedar menguji suatu teori atau temuan penelitian sebelumnya. Namun dapat memberikan teori dan kontribusi baru di bidang ilmu dakwah. Penulisan tesis dan disertasi juga dapat memberikan pengalaman meneliti bagi mahasiswa untuk melakukan penelitian berikutnya, ketika mereka telah terjun di medan dakwah. Dengan mengkaji dan mengeksplorasi bidang-bidang penelitian terkini, mahasiswa akan mendapatkan pengalaman baru secara nyata melalui proses penemuan, pengkajian, penelaahan dan pemikiran ilmiah yang mendalam tentang ilmu dakwah. Para dosen Islamic studies sesuai preferensinya memandu orientasi amaliyah Islam tersebut pada keahlian dan matakuliah-matakuliah di fakultas-fakultas yang bernaung di bawah kompartemen tersebut. Sebaiknya para dosen Islami studies memiliki kebebasan awal untuk memilih kompartemennya. Dosen telah masuk ke suatu bidang keahlian ilmu perlu ada komitmen berkelanjutan atas fungsi pengembangan keahlian atau matakuliah tertentu.

Abstract

ظاهرة الخلافية الفروعية في إندونيسيا هي حدث مثير للجدل ينطوي على اختلافات في الرأي حول قضايا ثانوية أو فروع الدين. ويختلف تأثير هذه الظاهرة اختلافا كبيرا، بدءا من استقطاب المجتمع إلى انقسام الطوائف الدينية. ومنظور الدعوة في التغلب على هذه الظاهرة هو تعزيز التعليم الديني الذي يعزز الفهم الصحيح والتسامح مع الاختلافات. وثمة حل آخر يتمثل في زيادة الوعي بأهمية الحوار بين الأديان لتحقيق التفاهم المشترك. بالإضافة إلى أهمية دور العلماء والقيادات الدينية في تقديم التوجيه الصحيح لشعوبهم حتى لا يقعوا في الخلافية الفروعية. وبالتالي، يؤمل أن يتمكن المجتمع من الحفاظ على التكاتف واحترام الاختلافات في الرأي من أجل التنوع المتناغم في إطار الوحدة الوطنية The phenomenon of khilafiyah furuiyah in Indonesia is a controversial event involving differences of opinion on minor or furu' (branch) matters of religion. The impacts of this phenomenon are diverse, ranging from societal polarization to the fragmentation of religious communities. From the perspective of dakwah (Islamic outreach), addressing this phenomenon involves strengthening religious education that emphasizes correct understanding and tolerance of differences. Another solution is to raise awareness of the importance of interfaith dialogue to achieve mutual understanding. Additionally, the role of scholars and religious leaders in providing proper guidance to their followers to avoid falling into khilafiyah furuiyah is crucial. Thus, it is hoped that the society can maintain unity and respect differences of opinion for the sake of harmonious diversity within the framework of national unity

Abstract

The study of hadith as a source of Islamic teachings after the Qur’an is an important part of Islamic studies in Indonesia, both in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and Islamic higher education. The study of hadith at these two Islamic educational institutions has a different style. Hadith studies in pesantren are more focused on understanding the content of text (matan) of hadith by studying the traditions contained in the books of Riyad al-Salihin, Sahih al-Bukhori, Sahih Muslim and other books. Meanwhile, the study of hadith in Islamic higher education has experienced rapid development by focusing on the study of methodological mastery, for example, sanad and matan research methodologies. The books that are used as references are also more varied, such as the book of the tarikh al-ruwat, al-jarh wa al-ta'dil, rijal al-hadith, and other contemporary hadith books. This study aims to comprehensively reveal the development of hadith studies in these two Islamic educational institutions. This type of research is field research (field research). The data were collected by conducting a direct search in the field through the methods of interview, observation, and documentation. The data collected were analyzed and presented in a qualitative descriptive manner using a phenomenological approach. The research found that the study of hadith in Islamic boarding schools and Islamic higher education had different tendencies. These two tendencies need to be mapped so that they can be used as a model in comprehensively studying the Prophet's hadith.

Abstract

This article analyzes how psychological approaches and counseling guidelines can integrate Islamic da'wah with communication science. In its broad sense, Islamic communication refers to the dissemination of Islamic teachings through various communication media. The teachings are logical and persuasive and aim to encourage individuals to discover and develop their qualities and potential. Da'wah has a vital responsibility to overcome humanitarian problems. One relevant da'wah method is counseling and giving advice. Both approaches are the primary references in implementing effective da'wah in this context. For da'wah to be able to answer the various challenges faced by society, the function of da'wah needs to be expanded through a structured approach and counseling based on Islamic values. This study uses a literature study methodology by utilizing various scientific references in communication. The contribution of Muslim experts who have published books and journals related to Islamic communication is an essential foundation in this study. The study results show that integrating Islamic da'wah with modern communication can strengthen the effectiveness of da'wah messages in solving human problems more comprehensively.

Abstract

This research is expected to be able to make a meaningful contribution to the treasures of Islamic studies, especially in the framework of the study of the Qur'an. This research also aims to bridge theories that carry the theme of canonization of the Qur'an. Through an interdisciplinary approach, this study seeks to open a wider horizon of thinking, build a scientific paradigm across disciplines and religions, and motivate subsequent studies that are expected to complement the shortcomings of this research. At a practical level, this research is expected to provide new views and encourage the development of further studies that are more comprehensive and integrative in understanding the process of canonization of the Qur'an and its implications for Islamic studies. In addition, this study also seeks to identify and analyze various historical, social, and cultural factors that influence the canonization of the Qur'an. It is hoped that the results of this research can be an important reference for academics, researchers, and practitioners in developing more in-depth and extensive studies on the Qur'an. This research is also expected to enrich scientific literature and make a significant contribution to cross-cultural and religious dialogue, as well as strengthen understanding of the dynamics and complexity in the process of canonization of the Qur'an.

Abstract

Metodologi penelitian ini, dirancang untuk mencapai tujuan penting untuk memahami interpretasi tasawuf dari enam bentuk komunikasi dakwah dalam Al-Qur’an. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, yang berfokus pada eksplorasi mendalam dan analisis detail, sehingga data yang diperoleh menjadi lebih kaya dan informatif. Proses kajian dimulai dengan identifikasi konsep tafsir tasawuf sebagai bagian integral dari tradisi Islam yang telah teruji sepanjang sejarah. Komunikasi dakwah didefinisikan secara komprehensif, menekankan perannya yang signifikan dalam konteks agama dan masyarakat kontemporer. Penelitian ini juga menganalisis enam elemen kunci komunikasi dakwah, yaitu penerimaan, manha, uslub, tafsir, semangat, dan al-bayan. Masing-masing elemen ini dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi fungsinya dalam menyampaikan pesan agama. Studi kasus penafsiran Sufistik diterapkan dengan hati-hati pada teks Al-Qur’an, dilakukan secara mendalam untuk mencapai hasil yang valid dan dapat diandalkan. Dalam seluruh proses ini, metode pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan analisis teks untuk memastikan signifikansi temuan dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan di bidang ini. Di akhir penelitian, kesimpulan dari temuan yang diperoleh diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi berharga untuk pengembangan tafsir sufistik dalam konteks komunikasi dakwah yang lebih luas dan memberikan kontribusi positif bagi praktik dakwah yang lebih efektif dan efisien di masa depan.
