Abstract

The study of hadith as a source of Islamic teachings after the Qur’an is an important part of Islamic studies in Indonesia, both in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and Islamic higher education. The study of hadith at these two Islamic educational institutions has a different style. Hadith studies in pesantren are more focused on understanding the content of text (matan) of hadith by studying the traditions contained in the books of Riyad al-Salihin, Sahih al-Bukhori, Sahih Muslim and other books. Meanwhile, the study of hadith in Islamic higher education has experienced rapid development by focusing on the study of methodological mastery, for example, sanad and matan research methodologies. The books that are used as references are also more varied, such as the book of the tarikh al-ruwat, al-jarh wa al-ta'dil, rijal al-hadith, and other contemporary hadith books. This study aims to comprehensively reveal the development of hadith studies in these two Islamic educational institutions. This type of research is field research (field research). The data were collected by conducting a direct search in the field through the methods of interview, observation, and documentation. The data collected were analyzed and presented in a qualitative descriptive manner using a phenomenological approach. The research found that the study of hadith in Islamic boarding schools and Islamic higher education had different tendencies. These two tendencies need to be mapped so that they can be used as a model in comprehensively studying the Prophet's hadith.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of headmaster supervision on teacher professionalism in Islamic Junior High Schools (Madrasah Tsanawiyah). Using a correlational research design, the study evaluates two primary variables: headmaster supervision (X) and teacher professionalism (Y). The research aims to quantify the degree of influence exerted by headmaster supervision on teacher professionalism. A total population of 64 teachers from the selected schools was surveyed, ensuring comprehensive data collection through questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis employed percentage-based quantitative techniques and simple regression analysis.Findings reveal a significant positive correlation between headmaster supervision and teacher professionalism, with a correlation coefficient of 0.710, exceeding the critical value of 0.246 at a 5% significance level. The coefficient of determination (R²) indicates that headmaster supervision accounts for 50.4% of the variance in teacher professionalism, with the remaining 49.6% influenced by other unexplored variables. These results underline the pivotal role of effective headmaster supervision in enhancing teacher professionalism, thereby contributing to the overall quality of education.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the characteristics of educators depicted in the Hadith of the Prophet. Educators in this era are faced with various challenges, which require them to have strong qualities in order to guide students according to the provisions of Allah SWT. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach through the literature study method. The research results show that the ideal characteristics of educators in the hadith involve the presence of deep compassion in the process of educating students, justice, a democratic approach, and dedication to providing motivation and clarity in conveying knowledge to those who need it. Through the application of these characteristics, it is hoped that the goal of education can be achieved, namely developing the potential of students so that they become individuals who are faithful, knowledgeable, creative, independent, and can become democratic and responsible citizens. Abstract

This research aims to explore the concept of mental health from a hadith perspective, which is an important part of Islamic teachings. Using literature research methods, this study analyses various hadiths that are relevant to understanding the principles of mental health taught by the Prophet Muhammad. We thoroughly studied a total of 12 articles and 3 books related to this topic. The research results show that mental health in the hadith includes principles such as feelings of security, independence, responsibility, and physical and spiritual balance. These hadiths illuminate the significance of preserving mental health in the pursuit of life, emphasizing the need for appreciation and care. This study contributes to the development of a spiritual understanding of mental health, as well as offering guidance for Muslims in maintaining mental well-being based on hadith teachings.

Abstract

Perencanaan program bimbingan karir berperan penting dalam mendukung siswa untuk mengeksplorasi pilihan karir yang sesuai dengan minat dan bakat mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana perencanaan program bimbingan karir dapat meningkatkan eksplorasi karir siswa di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis literatur dari berbagai sumber yang relevan mengenai bimbingan karir dan eksplorasi karir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program bimbingan karir yang dirancang dengan melibatkan berbagai kegiatan, seperti tes minat dan bakat, seminar karir, serta kunjungan industri, dapat membantu siswa memperluas wawasan tentang berbagai pilihan karir dan meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dalam menentukan pilihan karir mereka. Kesimpulannya, perencanaan program bimbingan karir yang terstruktur dan beragam sangat berpengaruh dalam memperkaya eksplorasi karir siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya kolaborasi antara sekolah, orang tua, dan profesional di bidang karir untuk menciptakan program bimbingan yang efektif dan menyeluruh bagi siswa.

Abstract

Masa remaja adalah fase krusial dalam perkembangan individu yang menandai peralihan dari masa kanak-kanak menuju dewasa. Pada fase ini, remaja menghadapi berbagai tantangan, salah satunya adalah kesiapan dalam menentukan arah karir. Kebutuhan untuk merencanakan masa depan, termasuk dalam memilih jalur pendidikan yang akan menentukan jenis pekerjaan, sering kali menimbulkan kebingungan bagi remaja. Agar remaja dapat mengatasi tantangan ini, mereka membutuhkan pendampingan yang berkesinambungan dari tenaga profesional, seperti konselor, yang memberikan layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Pendampingan ini harus relevan dengan tuntutan masa kini, terutama dengan adanya kurikulum berbasis keterampilan hidup (life skills) yang penting bagi pengembangan diri remaja. Bimbingan karir berbasis keterampilan hidup ini diharapkan dapat membantu remaja mencapai kematangan dalam memilih karir yang tepat.
