Abstract

Abtrak: Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi konsep moderasi beragama dalam konteks kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia, yang dikenal dengan keragaman agama dan budaya. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana moderasi beragama dapat diterapkan untuk mempromosikan toleransi dan keharmonisan antar kelompok agama di Indonesia. Penulisan ini juga bertujuan untuk menganalisis tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi moderasi beragama dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk memperkuat praktik moderasi di masyarakat. Metode penulisan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis literatur dan studi kasus. Penulis mengkaji berbagai sumber literatur mengenai moderasi beragama, termasuk buku, artikel akademik, dan laporan penelitian. Selain itu, studi kasus dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia dianalisis untuk melihat penerapan moderasi beragama dalam konteks lokal. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan ahli agama, tokoh masyarakat, dan observasi terhadap praktek keagamaan di lapangan. Hasil penulisan menunjukkan bahwa moderasi beragama memainkan peran krusial dalam menjaga keharmonisan sosial di Indonesia yang multikultural. Penerapan moderasi beragama membantu mengurangi konflik antar kelompok agama dan meningkatkan toleransi. Namun, tantangan seperti ekstremisme, kurangnya pemahaman, dan ketidakstabilan sosial masih menjadi hambatan. Rekomendasi yang diajukan mencakup peningkatan pendidikan agama yang moderat, promosi dialog antar agama, dan kebijakan yang mendukung keberagaman. Penulisan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan dan panduan bagi kebijakan dan praktek yang lebih baik dalam mempromosikan moderasi beragama di Indonesia.Kata Kunci : Moderasi Beragama, Toleransi, Indonesia

Abstract

Abstrak: Kota Medan, sebagai pusat pertumbuhan dan perkembangan di Sumatera Utara, menghadapi tantangan serius terkait kelestarian lingkungan akibat urbanisasi dan industrialisasi yang pesat. Dalam konteks ini, pendidikan agama Islam muncul sebagai potensi penting dalam mempromosikan kesadaran dan tindakan berkelanjutan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menggali kontribusi pendidikan agama Islam dalam mempertahankan kelestarian lingkungan di Medan. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan studi kasus, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan agama Islam di Medan telah berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran ekologis masyarakat. Konsep khalifah sebagai pengelola bumi dan tawhid sebagai keesaan Tuhan menjadi dasar pemahaman masyarakat tentang pentingnya menjaga keseimbangan alam. Sekolah dan pesantren di Medan telah aktif mengintegrasikan pendidikan ekologi berbasis Islam, menghasilkan inisiatif seperti kampanye penghijauan, pengelolaan sampah, dan promosi gaya hidup berkelanjutan. Namun, tantangan seperti kurangnya sumber daya, resistensi terhadap perubahan, dan kurangnya kerjasama lintas sektoral tetap menjadi hambatan dalam implementasi pendidikan agama yang berorientasi ekologi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya kolaboratif antara pemerintah, lembaga pendidikan, dan masyarakat untuk memaksimalkan potensi pendidikan agama Islam dalam mendukung kelestarian lingkungan di tengah dinamika masyarakat modern Medan. Kesimpulannya, pendidikan agama Islam memiliki peran strategis dalam mempromosikan kelestarian lingkungan di Medan. Melalui integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dengan isu-isu ekologi, diharapkan dapat tercipta harmoni antara pembangunan berkelanjutan dan pelestarian alam untuk kesejahteraan bersama.Keyword: Ekspresi Ekologis, Pendidikan Agama Islam, Kelestarian Lingkungan, Masyarakat Modern, Kontribusi Pendidikan

Abstract

Muhammadiyah sebagai gerakan dakwah berbasis komunitas menempatkan cabang dan ranting sebagai fondasi vital dalam menyemai nilai-nilai Islam Berkemajuan. Lembaga Pengembangan Cabang, Ranting dan Pembinaan Masjid (LPCRPM) PP Muhammadiyah menetapkan target nasional strategis: 60% kecamatan memiliki cabang aktif dan 40% desa/kelurahan memiliki ranting aktif. Provinsi Sumatera Utara, dengan 450 kecamatan dan keragaman sosial-budaya yang tinggi, menjadi medan uji penting terhadap keberhasilan konsolidasi struktur dakwah akar rumput ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi, wawancara, dan pemanfaatan aplikasi Sicara sebagai instrumen digital evaluasi struktural. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pencapaian cabang aktif baru sekitar 40% dan ranting aktif 25%, masih jauh dari target nasional. Tantangan utama mencakup kondisi geografis yang kompleks, stagnasi kaderisasi, lemahnya administrasi, serta rendahnya literasi digital di tingkat cabang dan ranting.  Meski demikian, terdapat praktik baik di sejumlah daerah yang berhasil memadukan dakwah, pengelolaan masjid, dan pemberdayaan ekonomi. Kesimpulannya, penguatan cabang dan ranting memerlukan strategi holistik yang melibatkan pemetaan struktural, digitalisasi, kaderisasi fungsional, dan kolaborasi lintas majelis dan eksternal.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Sufism learning and its contribution to strengthening students' spiritual character in the digital era. The background of this study is based on the challenges of Islamic education in providing relevant and engaging Sufism learning for a digital generation familiar with technology but experiencing a spiritual crisis. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation of AI-based Sufism practices in one modern Islamic school. The results show that AI is utilized in various forms, such as a spiritual guidance chatbot, an interactive dhikr application, and a visual-based learning platform for Sufism material. This utilization has been proven to be able to improve students' understanding of Sufi concepts, learning motivation, and emotional engagement in the learning process. However, AI cannot completely replace the role of teachers as spiritual guides who transmit Sufi values ​​through role models and direct guidance. Sufism learning supported by AI technology becomes a strategic tool to shape students' spiritual character, such as sincerity, patience, and closeness to Allah SWT, provided that its implementation is carried out contextually and valuable. Therefore, the use of AI needs to be synergized with a Sufi pedagogical approach based on spiritual experience, so that spiritual education maintains its meaning amidst the rapid flow of digitalization.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze physical education conducted at MAS Istiqomah Sri Gunting based on the perspective of Islamic education philosophy. This research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, and the tools used as data collectors are observations, interviews, document studies, and data analysis techniques through data collection steps, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion: Withdrawal/Verification, and validity testing. The results showed that the purpose of physical education at MAS Istiqomah Sri Gunting had not been based on the philosophy of Islamic education because it has not entirely followed health rules in dressing, following health rules about housing, maintaining hygiene, treating diseases, getting used to exercising and regulating eating and drinking patterns. The purpose of physical education is carried out based on the objectives of the educational curriculum used today as recommended by the government. This is reinforced by the absence of learning materials or actions that lead to the habits advocated through the Qur'an and hadith, as well as the opinions of scholars. As the hadith recommended, there were no student learning activities in archery, horse riding, or swimming. So it can be concluded, based on the analysis of the philosophy of Islamic education physical education conducted at MAS Istiqomah Sri Gunting, the objectives and implementation cannot be said to be sourced from the Quran, hadith, and the opinions of scholars as the source of Islamic educational philosophy.

Abstract

Proyek pengabdian masyarakat di Pondok Pesantren Modern Darul Hikmah Taman Pendidikan Islam di Medan ini berfokus pada pencegahan perjudian online, sebuah isu yang berkembang di kalangan pelajar. Proyek ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan mengedukasi para siswa dan pendidik tentang bahaya perjudian online, yang dapat berdampak buruk pada perkembangan moral dan akademis. Pendekatan ini melibatkan seminar interaktif, diskusi, dan penggunaan media digital untuk mengkomunikasikan risiko yang terkait dengan perjudian online secara efektif. Proyek ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran, yang mengarah pada komitmen kolektif dari institusi untuk mempertahankan langkah-langkah pencegahan, termasuk penggunaan teknologi untuk memantau dan mendeteksi aktivitas yang mencurigakan. Hasilnya menggarisbawahi pentingnya edukasi dan kolaborasi yang berkelanjutan di antara sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat untuk melindungi siswa dari dampak buruk perjudian online.

Abstract

The Poda Na Lima philosophy, which aims to develop the study of Islamic education, needs to be maintained and preserved; therefore, the authors conducted this research using qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. Observation data, interviews and documentation are data collection techniques, while informants as subjects of this research were 15 people from Mandailing Natal. Traditional figures, religious figures, community leaders, members, and documents related to history, culture, customs, and community life, such as books, articles, journals, reports, and mass media are sources of research data. Data analysis is used through presentation, reduction and conclusion. The research results show that Poda Na Lima has been developing an educational curriculum based on local content. The obstacle was that it had not been implemented optimally as part of developing the local content education curriculum there. It is due to a lack of coordination, socialization synergy, local government education, budget allocation, and human resource development for the community, especially the younger generation, regarding the importance of maintaining and preserving the philosophy. The authors concluded that with the development of local content educational curricula and local knowledge in the community, the local government needs to take policies to maintain and preserve the Poda Na Lima philosophy in Mandailing Natal.

Abstract

In this digital era, innovation in the use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) in learning is needed. Islamic religious education teachers must be able to innovate learning. The purpose of the study was to analyze the innovation and constraints of the use of Artificial Intelligence in learning Islamic Religious Education at MAN 4 Preparation of Medan City. The research method is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The results of this study found innovation in the use of Artificial Intelligence at MAN 4 Preparation of Medan City using the Madrasah e-learning application. The advantages of this application Through madrasah e-learning, teachers and students can conduct integrated video conferences with students and stakeholders without time limits and free of charge. In addition, daily assessments, quizzes, end-of-semester assessments can be done through computer-based exams which are directly processed into report cards. The obstacles faced in mastering the e-learning application of Madrasah 1). Weak mastery of technology by teachers and students 2). Some students still do not have a handphone or computer 3). The lack of socialization of the use of e-learning applications to teachers and students.

Abstract

The challenges of religious moderation are the strengthening of exclusive religious views, attitudes, and behaviors, the high rate of religiously motivated violence, intolerance, the development of religious spirit that is not in harmony with the love of nation and state. The aim is to analyze how the education and training model strengthens religious moderation at the Medan Religious Training Center. This research method is qualitative with a case study approach. The results of the study found an educational model through four pillars of  learning, learning to know, learning to do, learning to  be, learning to live together. The education and training model for strengthening religious moderation in 2014-2019 is a substance model that finds a lot of debate and rejection, so that since 2019 until now the methodological model for combating religious moderation as a solution to solve the problems that occur. It was concluded that strengthening religious moderation in Indonesia is a challenge to the maturity of a multicultural nation. The education and training model must be updet to the times so that the challenges of religious moderation can be solved such as the methodology training model as a solution to solve problems in the aspect of religious moderation.
