Abstract

This study aims to analyze the techno-economic feasibility of implementing rooftop solar power plants based on electricity consumption patterns and kWh export schemes. The data used comes from the Kaggle dataset "Surabaya Electric Consumption by Sector" and is processed using Google Colab. The research method uses a descriptive-comparative quantitative approach through electricity consumption pattern analysis, technical simulation of rooftop solar power plants, and a comparison of 65% and 100% kWh export schemes. The results show that the industrial sector has the highest electricity consumption, followed by households and businesses and hotels. Simulations show that increasing solar power plant capacity increases energy production and kWh exports, but nighttime electricity imports still occur because the system does not use batteries. The 100% export scheme provides better economic feasibility than the 65% export scheme, with more optimal savings, ROI, and payback period. The best scenario is a rooftop solar power plant with a capacity of 12.0 kWp with a 100% export scheme, because it produces the highest technical and economic benefits.

Abstract

Peningkatan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi di bidang kesehatan menuntut adanya sistem yang terintegrasi untuk mengelola proses klinis dan administratif, khususnya pada klinik berskala kecil dan menengah. Banyak klinik masih menerapkan pengelolaan informasi secara manual atau terpisah, yang menyebabkan duplikasi data, keterbatasan visibilitas operasional, serta alur kerja yang kurang efisien. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan akan perancangan sistem yang terstruktur dan terintegrasi untuk mendukung aktivitas manajemen klinik. Penelitian ini mengusulkan perancangan sistem informasi manajemen klinik berbasis web pada Klinik Sri Manik Farma yang mengintegrasikan pengelolaan data pasien, data dokter, layanan klinis, persediaan obat, kunjungan medis, dan proses penagihan dalam satu platform terpadu. Sistem dirancang menggunakan pendekatan basis data terpusat dengan alur kerja berbasis administrator untuk menjaga konsistensi data dan kemudahan pengelolaan. Kontribusi penelitian ini terletak pada penyediaan rancangan sistem yang merepresentasikan alur kerja klinis secara menyeluruh serta menghubungkan proses klinis dengan aktivitas administratif dan keuangan. Evaluasi sistem dilakukan melalui validasi fungsional dan analisis kegunaan yang menitikberatkan pada ketepatan operasi CRUD, integrasi alur kerja, dan kejelasan interaksi pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rancangan sistem yang diusulkan mampu mendukung pengelolaan data secara terstruktur, mengurangi redundansi data, dan meningkatkan transparansi operasional. Pengembangan selanjutnya disarankan untuk menambahkan akses multi-peran, peningkatan mekanisme keamanan, serta fitur analitik lanjutan guna mendukung pengambilan keputusan manajerial.

Abstract

The preservation of Balinese lontar manuscripts has become increasingly important due to their cultural, historical, and religious significance, while physical degradation such as uneven illumination, faded ink, texture interference, and manuscript aging continues to reduce readability and complicate digital preservation efforts. This study proposes an end-to-end Optical Character Recognition (OCR) framework for degraded Balinese lontar manuscripts by integrating Bayesian-optimized image enhancement, adaptive preprocessing, morphology-based segmentation, domain-specific augmentation, and lightweight deep learning recognition using MobileNetV3. The proposed enhancement pipeline combines Multiscale Retinex, adaptive gamma correction, edge-preserving filtering, and hybrid binarization to improve character visibility under degraded manuscript conditions. Bayesian Optimization with Optuna and Tree-structured Parzen Estimator (TPE) was employed to automatically optimize enhancement parameters according to manuscript quality characteristics. Experimental results demonstrated substantial improvements in manuscript image quality, where Laplacian Variance increased from 306.7596 to 6685.7641, RMS Contrast improved from 28.976 to 83.9085, Michelson Contrast increased from 0.8238 to 1.0, and Ink Ratio Score improved from 0.6096 to 0.9847. The MobileNetV3-based OCR recognition model achieved a test accuracy of 80.52% and a best validation accuracy of 83.78% across 102 Balinese script classes. The proposed framework demonstrates that adaptive enhancement optimization combined with lightweight OCR recognition can provide robust and computationally efficient recognition performance for degraded historical manuscripts while supporting scalable digital preservation and mobile-oriented cultural heritage applications.

Abstract

Background: The increasing use of artificial intelligence in higher education has encouraged institutions to develop academic chatbots that provide faster access to official information. However, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-based chatbots still require optimization to ensure accurate, relevant, and context-grounded responses.Aims: This study aims to optimize the performance of a RAG-based academic chatbot by applying zero-shot and few-shot prompt engineering strategies.Methods: A comparative experiment was conducted using 45 in-context academic questions for RAGAS-based quantitative evaluation, while 5 out-of-context questions were used as a qualitative robustness check. The system was developed using Python, LangChain, FAISS, OpenAI, and Streamlit, and evaluated using the RAGAS metrics: faithfulness, answer relevancy, context precision, and context recall.Results: The baseline system achieved an average RAGAS score of 0.8421. After prompt engineering was applied, zero-shot prompting achieved 0.8697, while few-shot prompting achieved 0.8565.Conclusion: Zero-shot prompting produced the best overall performance and showed the strongest improvement in faithfulness and context recall. These findings indicate that clear prompt instructions can improve the reliability of RAG-based academic chatbot responses for academic information services.
