Abstract

Problems in the research on Improving Speech Skills Based on Collaborative Learning Model in Grade V Students of Elementary School. This study aims to determine the improvement of speaking ability based on the Collaborative Learning Model in Grade V Students of Elementary School. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK).  The subjects in this study are grade V students of Elementary School. This type of research is class action research or PTK using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart research model, namely planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection The subject of this research is grade V students of Elementary School. The data collection technique uses the performance test technique. The data analysis technique in this study uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study were obtained in cycle I showing that there was an increase in speaking ability in the aspects of fluency, sentence structure, vocabulary, intonation and pronunciation were very good. This increase was seen in cycle I and cycle II increased from 5% to 81%. Based on the average score obtained by students in cycle I is 75 and in cycle II the average score obtained by students is 80. From these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the collaborative learning model can improve the speaking ability of grade V students of Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Time Token learning model of students' speaking skills in Indonesian language subjects. The method used in this research is descriptive method with mixed research type of leatherative and quantitative. The research subjects were students of class VIII H SMP Negeri 9 Palu totaling 32 people, selected through simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used included observation, and documentation. The instruments used consisted of teacher and student activity observation sheets, as well as assessment of students' speaking skills through student learning outcomes data. The results showed that the teacher observation sheet was classified as very good, the student observation sheet also showed very effective results with a value of 91%, while the data on student learning outcomes in speaking skills reached 83 with a good category. These findings indicate that the application of the Time Token model is able to encourage equal distribution of speaking opportunities, increase student courage, and support active and structured speaking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of religious habituation activities on improving the results of Islamic Education (PAI) practice exams at SDN Perumnas 1 Subang. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The research sample consists of sixth-grade students selected randomly. The research instruments include a PAI practice test and observation sheets to measure the intensity and involvement of students in religious habituation activities. The results of the study show a significant improvement in the PAI practice exam results in the group of students who received guidance on religious habituation activities compared to the control group. This guidance has proven effective in forming consistent worship habits and enhancing students' understanding and skills in performing religious practices. The implications of this study highlight the importance of integrating religious habituation activities into the school curriculum to support the improvement of PAI learning outcomes.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research aimed to improve the narrative writing skills of tenth-grade students at SMAN 1 Pademawu through the implementation of the Fractured Story model. The study involved 28 students and was conducted over two cycles following the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected using pretests, posttests, observations, and documentation. In the pretest, none of the students achieved the minimum passing score of 75, with an average score of only 45.00. After the first cycle, the average score increased to 69.11, with 28.57% of students reaching the minimum criteria. In the second cycle, all students passed, achieving an average score of 95.89. This shows a total improvement of 50.89 points or 113.09% from the pretest. The results indicate that the Fractured Story model effectively enhanced students’ writing performance, motivation, creativity, and critical thinking. By reconstructing well-known stories into new and imaginative narratives, students developed a better understanding of narrative structure and gained more confidence in expressing their ideas. The model also made learning more engaging and meaningful, as it encouraged students to connect the content with their own experiences and imagination. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Fractured Story model is an effective approach to improve students’ ability in writing narrative texts in English language learning.

Abstract

Teacher professionalism is a key factor in improving the quality of education in Indonesia, contributing significantly to the overall progress of national education. This study aims to analyze the role of professional teachers in the development of the Independent Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SDN 006 Buahbatu. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that teachers at SDN 006 Buahbatu have implemented the principles of the Independent Curriculum, including in developing appropriate teaching materials that are tailored to the context and needs of students. Teachers are also active in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment and implementing various innovative learning methods to increase student participation. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that teacher professionalism has an impact on the success of the Independent Curriculum development in PAI learning.

Abstract

Lingkungan berperan sebagai wadah bagi anak untuk berinteraksi dengan dunia sekitarnya, menyerap informasi, dan mengekspresikan diri melalui bahasa, sehingga membentuk fondasi yang kuat untuk perkembangan kognitif dan sosial mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisis pengaruh berbagai aspek lingkungan, seperti keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat, terhadap perkembangan bahasa anak usia dini. Dengan menerapkan metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan kajian literatur, peneliti menyeleksi artikel yang diterbitkan antara tahun (2020-2024) yang relevan dengan topik judul. Penulis menemukan enam artikel yang sesuai dengan topik tersebut. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa lingkungan memiliki peran krusial dalam pembentukan kemampuan bahasa anak, di mana perkembangan linguistik sangat ditentukan oleh kualitas stimulus yang diberikan oleh berbagai lingkungan sosial di sekitarnya.

Abstract

Motivation is a crucial factor that helps students achieve educational success. Students with high learning motivation tend to be more enthusiastic and possess a strong drive to acquire knowledge. However, low learning motivation in the Akidah Akhlak subject remains a problem, which is presumed to be related to students’ emotional intelligence that has not yet developed optimally. Students with well-developed emotional intelligence are generally able to motivate themselves to stay focused on learning and actively participate in classroom activities. In reality, many students are still unable to motivate themselves effectively, as indicated by infrequent task completion, a tendency to give up easily when facing difficult assignments, low classroom participation, and mental disengagement during learning activities. This study aims to: (1) describe students’ emotional intelligence, (2) describe students’ learning motivation, and (3) examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and learning motivation. The study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The research population consisted of 81 tenth- and eleventh-grade students at SMK Addimyati Bandung, and the entire population was used as the research sample through total sampling. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires adapted from the indicators of each variable and were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson Product–Moment correlation analysis. The results indicate that students’ emotional intelligence and learning motivation are generally at a good level. Specifically, 64.2% of students were categorized as having moderate emotional intelligence, while 72.8% were categorized as having moderate learning motivation. The correlation analysis revealed a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and learning motivation.

Abstract

Sektor hortikultura berperan penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia, namun produktivitasnya masih terhambat oleh penurunan kualitas tanah, biaya pupuk yang tinggi, serta rendahnya pemanfaatan teknologi ramah lingkungan. Kelompok (KWT) Sri Rejeki yang berada di Kota Banjarbaru menghadapi kendala serupa karena masih bergantung pada pupuk anorganik sehingga pendapatan bersih dapat berkurang hingga 20% karena peningkatan harga pupuk. Novelty program ini terletak pada pengembangan bioaktivator berbahan lokal yang mudah diperoleh di lingkungan KWT Sri Rejeki serta integrasi pelatihan teori dan praktik, mulai dari pembuatan dan fermentasi hingga penerapan langsung bioaktivator pada lahan hortikultura anggota KWT. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan melalui penyuluhan dan pelatihan pembuatan serta aplikasi bioaktivator berbahan dasar limbah sayuran dan empon-empon. Kegiatan berlangsung pada 11 Juni–13 Agustus 2025 dengan peserta sebanyak 20 orang anggota KWT. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi identifikasi permasalahan, koordinasi, persiapan, pelaksanaan praktik, serta pelaksanaan pre-test, post-test, dan observasi lapangan. Hasil kegiatan meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta dari nilai awal 45% menjadi 82%, serta keterampilan 85% peserta dalam memproduksi bioaktivator cair secara mandiri. Aplikasi bioaktivator terbukti memperbaiki tekstur lahan, mendorong pertumbuhan tanaman, dan meminimalisir ketergantungan pada pupuk kimia. Program ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas petani terhadap teknologi bioaktivator, sekaligus mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan melalui pemanfaatan limbah organik.
