During childhood development of gross motor skills and cognitive runs optimally, it requires education that can provide stimulation and service to aspects of these developments, one of which is by stimulating traditional games of Sodor and Krlek carts. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of sodor and crankshaft games on gross motor development and cognitive improvement in 4th grade children at SDN 1 Corner 1 Kediri. The research design uses True Experimental Design. The population of this study were all 4th grade students at SDN Pojok 1 Kota Kediri as many as 38 students. With a sample of 24 students with simple random sampling. The independent variable is sodor and crankshaft and gross and cognitive motor dependent variable. The instrument uses the Test of Gross Motor Development (TGMD), analyzed using Anova test. Research result. The results of the study by testing the kruskal wall obtained sig. 0,000 which means that there is a significant increase between independent and dependent variables and from the results of Mann Whitney test results obtained are 0.001 in the Sodor and Krlek group, while the Sodor cart provides the highest motor increase. Giving counseling to parents about the importance of stimulation in childhood can improve the child's development process optimally

Abstract

Introduction: Hypertension and diabetes mellitus are degenerative diseases that increase due to risk factors such as obesity, aging, poor diet, and unhealthy lifestyle. Objective: The research was to assess the effectiveness of the DASH diet in reducing blood pressure and blood glucose levels in hypertensive and diabetic patients. Methods: A single-factor quasi-experimental study with a randomized pretest-posttest comparison group design was conducted on 36 respondents selected through simple random sampling from 305 Posbindu residents in Setonorejo Village. Data collection involved observation sheets, sphygmomanometers, glucose test kits, and the DASH diet SOP. The Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test and the Kruskal-Wallis Test were used for data analysis. Results: The DASH diet significantly reduced systolic blood pressure (p = 0.006) and blood glucose levels (p = 0.008). However, only the 2600-calorie DASH diet significantly impacted diastolic blood pressure (p = 0.025), while 1600 and 2000-calorie diets did not (p = 0.083; p = 0.059). The Kruskal-Wallis test showed no significant differences between diet groups for systolic blood pressure (p = 0.319), diastolic blood pressure (p = 0.618), and blood glucose levels (p = 0.128). Conclusions: The DASH diet effectively lowers systolic blood pressure and blood glucose levels, suggesting its potential as a non-pharmacological strategy for managing hypertension and diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

One of the efforts to prevent and stop the incidence of infection in health care facilities is to break or eliminate the chain of transmission of infection consisting of 6 components (infectious agent, reservoir, portal of exit, transmission method, portal of entry, suscptible host).  Prevention can also be done by observing the risk factors and characteristics of the patient. The purpose of the study was to analyze factors that affect the incidence of HAIs (healthcare associated infections) in the inpatient of RSUD dr Iskak Tulungagung. The research design is in the form of quantitative research with case control analytical observational research methods with a retrospective approach. The research samples were some employees at RSUD dr. Iskak Tulunggung Regency as many as 83 case groups and 83 control groups with sampling techniques using the simple random sampling method. The results showed that the factors that influence the incidence of HAIs at RSUD dr. Iskak Tulungagung is an invasive action, a type of microorganism germ and the length of the day of treatment. While the most dominant factor affects the incidence of HAIs at RSUD dr. Iskak is the length of days of treatment with an OR of 5.256, meaning that the factor of length of days of care is 5 times more influential on the increase in the incidence of HAIs at RSUD dr. Iskak Tulungagung. Providing appropriate prophylactic antibiotics, balanced nutrition and vaccination to patients are steps that must be taken to help the patient's immune system remain in a state of being able to fight infection.

The waiting time for outpatient services in a hospital is one of the important factors determining patient satisfaction with the hospital, so it is hoped that patients will not wait too long while in the hospital. This study aimed to optimize outpatient waiting times so that it can increase the achievement of national quality indicators at TNI AD 05.08.04 Hospital, Lawang. This study used fishbone diagrams, USG (Urgency, Seriousness, Growth), and SWOT Analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Treats) to formulate problems and find solutions. The results of this study showed that priority problems in waiting time include: standard operating procedure (SOP) for outpatient service flow are still not available, the electronic medical record system is still often slow, and evaluation of national quality indicators is still not carried out routinely. Furthermore, the proposed strategy offered is the creation of SOP regarding the flow of outpatient services and routine outreach regarding the use of electronic medical records. With the implementation of these two strategies, it is hoped that they will be able to speed up waiting times for outpatient services, thus improving the achievement of national quality indicators.
