Abstract

Background: Hospitals as health care facilities have an obligation to patients to provide fast and precise services using complete facilities, one of the efforts of health services in improving service quality is to utilize health information technology. Major challenges are still faced by medical personnel as the main users of the system, especially in terms of ease of access, data interoperability, and time efficiency in medical records. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that influence the implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) with the Human Organization Technology (HOT) FIT approach at Ahmad Dahlan Kediri Hospital. Method : Observational research design with a cross-sectional approach. The population of all health workers at Ahmad Dahlan Kediri Hospital is 382. The sample taken in this study was 192 respondents through the Krejcie and Morgan formula with purposive sampling technique. Independent variables are human resource aspects, organizational aspects and technological aspects. The dependent variable is the application of EMR. The research instrument used a questionnaire taken from previous research. The analysis used was univariate analysis, bivariate analysis and multivariate with linear regression using SPSS 23. Results: The linear regression test conducted shows that there is a relationship between family support (p=0.000) and government support (p=0.000) on the quality of life of the elderly, the most influential variable is family support with a significance level of p=0.000 and B=0.246. Then, the second analysis shows that there is a relationship between family support (p=0.000) and government support (p=0.018) on the health status of the elderly, the most influential variable is family support with a significance level of p=0.000 and B=0.447. Conclusion: In the early stages of using EMR, many medical personnel experience difficulties in adapting to the new system. Some of the obstacles that often occur are lack of adequate training, resistance to change, and limited infrastructure that supports the implementation of EMR. Therefore, a comprehensive strategy is needed to improve the skills of medical personnel in using the system, including continuous training and socialization.

Abstract

Background: The implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is part of the digital transformation of the healthcare system in Indonesia. However, the readiness of primary healthcare facilities, such as private medical and dental practices, varies. The purpose of this study is to analyze the readiness for Electronic Medical Records (EMR) implementation in terms of human resources, work culture, governance and leadership, and infrastructure in private medical and dental practices in Pasuruan City. Method : The research design used a qualitative approach with a case study approach. Informants were selected through observation and interviews with 20 general practitioners and doctors practicing independently at private medical practices and private dental practices located in the city of Pasuruan. This study used purposive sampling techniques. The research instrument used an interview guide. Data collection was conducted in June 2025. Results: The research findings revealed that most respondents understood the basic concepts of Electronic Medical Records (EMR)  and had adequate equipment to support its use. Work culture exhibits adaptive characteristics, although there are still barriers in the form of limited training and manual work habits, particularly among senior medical staff. Decision-making regarding Electronic Medical Records (EMR)  implementation tends to be top-down, with the practice owner playing a central role. Basic infrastructure such as hardware is available, but internet connectivity and application interoperability remain the primary challenges. Conclusion: In general, the readiness for Electronic Medical Records (EMR)  implementation in private medical and dental practices in Pasuruan City is already at a positive early stage. However, full success requires strengthening human resource capacity through continuous training, improving the stability of digital infrastructure, and policy synergy between the government and professional organizations so that EMR implementation runs optimally and sustainably

Abstract

Malnutrition in children is a serious and persistent health problem in many rural areas. Environmental conditions, diet, and access to health services were relevant factors. This study aims to analyze the influence of these three factors on the incidence of malnutrition among school-age children. This cross-sectional study was conducted in December 2023 on 168 school-aged children in Kurima District, Yahukimo Regency. Simple random sampling was used. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analysed using regression. Environment (p=0.003), diet (p=0.008), and access to health services (p=0.027) had a significant influence on the incidence of malnutrition in school-age children both partially and simultaneously (p=0.000). Environmental factors, diet, and access to health services were able to predict 54.5% of school-age child malnutrition variables. Health professionals should consider these factors in solving malnutrition problems.

Abstract

Background: Neck pain and upper cross syndrome (UCS) are common complaints among physiotherapists, often exacerbated by poor posture and repetitive tasks. These conditions can negatively impact sleep quality and overall work performance. Stretching and postural education are simple, non-invasive interventions that may reduce symptoms. Purpose:  This study aimed to determine the effects of neck stretching and postural education on neck pain, upper cross syndrome, and sleep quality among physiotherapists at PT Indo Sehat. Methods: A true experimental, descriptive-analytical study was conducted over four weeks in four PT Indo Sehat clinics. Using proportional random sampling, 60 physiotherapists with a history of neck pain and poor sleep quality were selected and divided into intervention and control groups. Interventions included stretching routines and postural correction education. Data were collected through questionnaires and observation, and analyzed using paired and independent sample t-tests. Results: The intervention group showed statistically significant improvements in neck pain (p = 0.004), sleep quality (p = 0.000), and upper cross syndrome symptoms (p = 0.000). The control group showed limited or no significant improvement, especially in UCS (p = 0.061). Comparative analysis between groups showed meaningful differences pre- and post-intervention across all three variables (p < 0.005). Conclusion: Stretching and neck posture education significantly reduce neck pain and improve sleep quality and UCS symptoms in physiotherapists. These simple interventions are effective workplace strategies and are recommended for broader implementation.

Abstract

Background: Fatigue is a common problem in both formal and informal workplaces. World Health Organization (WHO) states that mental disorders in workers such as feelings of excessive fatigue lead to depression and are the second most common disease after heart disease. Work fatigue is a common problem in the workplace that is often encountered in the workforce and is a problem that requires attention. This study aims to Analyze the influence of workload, work shifts and work duration to work fatigue of inpatient nurses at Gambiran Regional Hospital, Kediri City. Methods: This research is quantitative with cross-sectional design, population in this research were all inpatient nurses total 174 nurses at Gambiran Hospital Kediri City. Based on slovin formula, sample in this research was 103 respondents. Data collection using questionnaire distributed directly to inpatient nurse, then analysis using multiple linier regression. Results: The regression analysis shows that workload and work duration significantly affect work fatigue among inpatient nurses at Gambiran Hospital, while work shifts do not. Work duration has the greatest influence, indicating that longer working hours increase fatigue more than workload. These findings align with previous studies showing that heavy workload and prolonged working hours contribute to nurse fatigue, whereas well-managed shift systems may mitigate its impact. Conclusions: The regression test results show that work duration has the greatest influence followed by workload, suggesting the need for further research on work fatigue with different variables among nurses in the Emergency Installation Room or Intensive Care Unit.
