Abstract

After Covid-19, several educational institutions have adopted the hybrid learning system. The transition of learning systems from face-to-face to hybrid settings presents obstacles and challenges that require adaptive solutions. The compatibility between hybrid learning systems and student learning style preferences is an issue that needs to be studied in more depth. Students have their preferred way when it comes to learning. They prefer to learn through visual (V), aural (A), read-write (R), or kinesthetic (K). Depending on their learning styles, student adaptation may have been challenging. In this regard, a study was designed to identify the learning style preferences among students. The VARK questionnaire is one of the most widely used diagnostic tools, allowing teachers to understand students' learning preferences and develop innovative learning practices. A quantitative cross-sectional design was conducted among students (n=486) in Univeristy X using the VARK questionnaire. Student learning style preferences were identified using latent profile analysis. Our findings suggest that most students were identified as having multiple learning modalities, while the rest had a single learning modality. Prevalence of kinesthetic and aural learning styles preference highest among students, followed by visual and read-write learning styles. Understanding how students retain the knowledge imparted to them is essential for lecturers to develop innovative and adaptive strategies.

Abstract

The high rate of employee turnover has become a major challenge for retail companies, including CV XYZ, as it affects productivity, cost efficiency, and organizational stability. This condition emphasizes the need to examine psychological factors that drive employees’ intention to leave their jobs. The present research explores how workload and job stress are associated with turnover intention among employees of CV XYZ. This research employed a quantitative methodology using multiple correlation. The sample comprised 90 respondents selected via stratified random sampling from a total population of 530 employees. The research instruments included the workload scale (NASA–TLX), job stress scale (Parker & DeCotiis, 1983) and turnover intention scale (Mobley, 1977). Data were analyzed using Spearman’s Rho correlation and multiple regression techniques. The findings reveal that workload and job stress are positively and significantly associated with turnover intention (p < 0.001, r = 0.603). These results are consistent with the Job Demands–Resources framework, Cognitive Appraisal Theory, and the Conservation of Resources approach, which suggest that stress and turnover intention result from an imbalance between work demands and available personal resources. Results are expected to provide insights for management in balancing workload, strengthening social support, and improving employees’ psychological well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to describe consumer behavior in the decision-making process related to purchasing multivitamin products in Bandung City. Data were collected from 1,990 respondents through a survey and analyzed using descriptive statistical methods. The findings indicate that most consumers are 18–24 years old, married, and primarily work as students or private-sector employees, with a monthly income of less than IDR 2,000,000. The primary factor driving purchase decisions is health needs, followed by the product's perceived benefits and halal certification. The most influential sources of information include public media, such as social media and consumer reviews, as well as personal sources, including family and friends. Consumers in Bandung tend to delay their purchasing decisions without a specific timeframe. The main reason for repeat purchases is the consumer's experience of the product's tangible health benefits. These results provide valuable insights for multivitamin producers in designing effective marketing strategies grounded in consumer behavior.

Abstract

The study aims to determine working mothers at PT XYZ. The method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. The t-test results partially indicate that family support has a positive and significant effect on psychological well-being (β = 0.702; p = 0.046 < 0.05), suggesting that higher levels of family support are associated with greater psychological well-being. In contrast, emotional regulation does not significantly influence psychological well-being (β = −0.402; p = 0.164 > 0.05), indicating that the respondent’s ability to regulate emotions does not directly improve psychological well-being among working mothers in this study. The F-test results indicate that emotional regulation and family support do not have a significant effect on psychological well-being (F = 2.989; p = 0.062). This implies that other elements are more pivotal in shaping psychological well-being, such as an individual’s capacity to control emotions, social support, life goals, mastery over their environment, autonomy, personal growth, and self-acceptance (Ryff, 1989).
