Abstract

Since the World Health Organization (WHO) designated the novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19) a pandemic, a significant proportion of activities across all domains of life have encountered challenges, including those pertaining to education. The Indonesian learning process is confronted with a series of alterations that require the ingenuity of educational institutions to mitigate the consequences of the pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus (Covid-19). One of the most efficacious methods is the implementation of active learning. The objective of this paper is to identify the types of active learning methods that can be employed, the active learning process itself, and the outcomes of active learning. The focus of this paper is Al-Ma’arif Junior High School, situated in Jombang-Jember. It can thus be concluded that the active learning methods implemented are group discussion, social observation, inductive learning, contextual, presentation, problem-solving, and demonstration. Furthermore, the active learning process is comprised of three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Finally, the results of this method are evidenced by the development of students’ abilities in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains.

Abstract

This study wants to describe the existence of street children, street children are a group of children who spend their childhood and adolescence selling newspapers, busking, or just asking for mercy from the people they meet to meet their daily needs. Economic difficulties make them not have time to get an education like children in general. Through the empowerment program, street children are given the knowledge to be able to see various business opportunities around them, as well as be creative in utilizing everything around them. The results of this activity include: identifying the target group, exploring the problems of the target group, coordinating the theme of community service activities, preparing for the implementation of activities, implementing activities, and evaluating the activities carried out. Therefore, community service activities for street children through entrepreneurship-based training and social media are very important so that they can develop their potential in being competent and taking advantage of everything around them without having to spend a lot of money. It is hoped that with this training service, the university and the Street Child Development Institute will always provide assistance to street children in providing life skills in developing entrepreneurial potential and expanding product marketing networks through social media.

Abstract

This service aims to carry out a sustainable strengthening of religious moderation challenges in the digital space for students, of course, it is very appropriate to be developed through creating a website or digital platform that can be accessed by all students to obtain information and materials on religious moderation either directly from kiyai or ustad. Use social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or YouTube to share educational materials, sermons, and recitations online. Holding webinars or video conferences with topics relevant to religious moderation and tolerant and inclusive Islamic values. Create podcasts or audio recordings that can be accessed by all students to listen to religious recitation or lectures. Holding competitions or competitions that direct students to produce creative content that supports religious moderation, such as making educational videos or writings containing messages of religious moderation

Abstract

Aktivitas pemberdayaan masyarakat yang baik, pada umumnya mengharuskan adanya proses pendampingan. Ini menjadi hal yang penting karena objek pemberdayaan masyarakat adalah masyarakat dengan dinamikanya yang beragam. Maka dari hal tersebut banyak kemampuan dan keterampilan masyarakat yang harus dikembangkan. Kegiatan pendampingan ini dilaksanakan. Pemberdayaan ini dikhususkan untuk ibu rumah tangga dengan latarbelakang keluarga Pra Sejahtera. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan cara memotivasi ibu rumah tangga untuk melakukan wirausaha secara mandiri di rumahnya. Sehingga nanti home industry ini bisa berkembang untuk menunjukan bahwa peremouan juga bisa malakukan ekonomi secara mandiri. Salah satu upaya dalam peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat adalah dengan membuat usaha baru yaitu pembuatan kue yang mana bahan dari kue tersebut mudah didapatkan dimana-mana. Tujuan dari pemberdayaan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan perekonomian ibu rumah tangga di desa tersebut agar memiliki mindset berwirausaha sehingga mampu menghasilkan profit dan benefit bagi keluarganya.

Abstract

To develop resilient and adaptable children's personalities in the digital age, this study intends to investigate the application of authoritative parenting styles in this time period and how these styles are enhanced by Islamic education. The methodology is a qualitative approach with literature reviews, examining numerous trustworthy sources about Islamic values, parenting styles, and how technology affects kids' development. According to the study's findings, children can improve their digital literacy, control technology use, and develop their mental health by supporting an authoritative parenting style that prioritizes a healthy mix of affection and discipline. This parenting approach is most suited to Islamic principles, giving them a strong moral basis and assisting them in navigating the problems of the digital world responsibly. By the needs of the times, this method not only helps kids achieve academically but develops strong, moral character.

Abstract

The reinterpretation and contextualization of the spiritual value of Sufism will be more meaningful if it is applied in a practical way to social life. The concepts of Love, Sincerity, and Patience in Sufism become meaningful for people who are currently experiencing the emptiness of the heart. Through Sufistic values, urban communities can practice applicable spiritual values amid the increasingly complex dynamics of modern human life. The purpose of this study is to describe the Sufistic values taught in Imam Al-Ghazali’s Sufism teachings and the relationship between Sufistic values and social intelligence in urban communities. The research method employs a qualitative approach, utilizing a field study research design through an interactive model. Through this research, Imam Al-Ghazali’s Sufistic values are found to have a close relationship with social intelligence. Sufistic values are indirectly able to provide awareness to a person on how to communicate, relate, and interact with urban communities that have increasingly complex problems. So socializing and socializing are not easily influenced by negative things with the religious stigma that has an impact on one’s psychological side.

Abstract

This paper about pesantren as a religious institution gained momentum in the national education system after the issuance of Law no. 20 of 2003 concerning the national education system. The law states that religious education is not only one type of education, but already has various forms such as diniyah education, pesantren and other similar forms, then alternative solutions emerge so that both of them complement each other and together have the same goal of producing students. students become human beings who have faith, piety and have science and technology in accordance with the objectives of the laws of the State of Indonesia. From the problems above, researchers are interested in conducting research on the development of religious education (PPK). In general, the development of religious education in Islamic boarding schools can be said to exist with religious activities that are continuously carried out by increasing student resources (SDS) both through formal education and diniyyah salafiyah. Tulisan ini tentang pesantren sebagai institusi keagamaan mendapatkan momentum dalam sistem pendidikan nasional setelah keluarnya Undang-Undang No. 20 Tahun 2003 tentang sistem pendidikan nasional. Undang-Undang tersebut menyebutkan bahwa pendidikan keagamaan tidak hanya salah satu jenis pendidikan, tetapi sudah memiliki berbagai bentuknya seperti pendidikan diniyah, pesantren dan bentuk lain yang sejenis kemudian muncul alternatif solusi agar keduanya saling mengisi dan bersama-sama mempunyai tujuan yang sama untuk mencetak santri-santrinya menjadi manusia mempunyai keimanan, ketaqwaan dan mempunyai ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi sesuai dengan tujuan undang-undang Negara Indonesia. Dari permasalahan di atas, peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian pengembangan pendidikan keagamaan (PPK). Secara umum pengembangan pendidikan kegamaan yang ada di pondok sudah bisa dikatakan eksis dengan kegiatan keagamaan yang terus menerus dilaksanakan dengan meningkatkan sumber daya santri (SDS) baik melaui pendidikan formal dan diniyyah salafiyah.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi dan numerasi merupakan fondasi penting dalam proses pembelajaran, terutama pada mata pelajaran matematika dasar di tingkat Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). Namun, hasil Asesmen Nasional tahun 2022 menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa MI masih berada dalam kategori “perlu intervensi khusus” dalam aspek literasi dan numerasi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa kelas IV MI 1 Jombang melalui pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR). Kegiatan dilakukan dalam tiga siklus yang mencakup perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi secara kolaboratif antara tim pengabdi dan guru. Siklus pertama menekankan pada penggunaan media visual dan soal kontekstual untuk menarik minat siswa. Siklus kedua memperkuat kolaborasi siswa melalui diskusi kelompok, sedangkan siklus ketiga mengintegrasikan permainan edukatif “Matematika Keliling” untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa secara menyenangkan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan: dari 28% siswa yang mampu menjawab soal dengan benar di awal, meningkat menjadi 84% pada akhir siklus ketiga. Selain peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, kegiatan ini juga mendorong transformasi positif dalam peran guru sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran yang reflektif dan kreatif. Dengan demikian, pendekatan PAR terbukti efektif dalam memberdayakan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa serta meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika dasar secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Joyful Learning strategy using flash card media in mathematics learning and its impact on students’ motivation and understanding. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of the study were fourth grade students of MI 2 Jombang Jember. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the Joyful Learning strategy with flash card media can create a pleasant learning atmosphere, increase active student participation, and facilitate understanding of mathematical concepts. These findings support the importance of innovation in learning strategies and media to improve the quality of the teaching and learning process, especially at the elementary education level.

Abstract

Ibnu Rusyd merupakan salah satu tokoh filsuf yang berupaya menggabungkan antara agama dan filsafat dengan berlandaskan prinsip-prinsip ajaran Islam, seperti pendapat beliau bahwa filsafat tidaklah bertentangan dengan islam, bahkan orang islam diwajibkan atau sekurang-kurangnya dianjurkan untuk mempelajarinya. Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui upaya-upaya ibn rusyd dalam mempertemukan agama, filsafat dan sains serta ingin mengetahui relevansi pemikiran ibn rusyd mempertemukan agama, filsafat dan sains dalam kehidupan sekarang. Metode yang digunakan adalah content analysis yaitu metode penelitian yang memanfaatkan seperangkat prosedur untuk menarik kesimpulan yang sahih dari sebuah buku dan dokumen. Analisis terhadap pemikiran-pemikiran Ibn Rusyd dalam menyelaraskan agama, filsafat, dan sains, dengan cara membuat klasifikasi pembenaran berdasarkan tingkatan kapasitas pemahaman keagamaan kaum Muslimīn, secara substansial akan menemukan titik simpul. Karena pada dasarnya, pemahaman seseorang terhadap agama pada tingkatan tertentu tidak akan terlepas dari fungsi akal yang sebagai promotor suatu pemikiran yang rasional. Tanpa akal seseorang tidak akan dapat menerima kebenaran agama, meskipun dalam tingkatan “rasional” yang rendah. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hubungan kebenaran rasio dan agama tidak akan pernah bertentangan, yang bisa bertentangan adalah pemahaman manusia terhadap isi kandungan yang di bawa oleh wahyu.
