Abstract

Sumenep Regency is one of the districts on Madura Island where the tourism sector is experiencing rapid development and improvement. Sumenep Regency has a natural and cultural tourist attraction, making it a destination for tourists. Not only is the attraction of the culture of his cow easy, but Sumenep Regency has a very beautiful natural attraction. The condition of natural tourism consists of natural scenery, high hills, beaches, high asta and diversity of marine potential. One of the popular tourist objects is Pantai Pantai Sembilan, Gili Labak Island and Gilii which have the best oxygen levels in the world. Tourists from outside the region, especially those who first visited Sumenep Regency will have a little difficulty in accessing tourist attractions in this city because they do not know in detail the information about the location of these tourist attractions. The purpose of this research is to build an Android-based Geographical Information System using the Dijkstra Algorithm, which is expected to help tourists from outside the Sumenep City area in displaying routes from one tourist spot to another. The method that is the basis for designing this GIS is the Graph Method, by applying the shortest route search algorithm, Dijkstra's Algorithm. The expected results with this application are that it can help, simplify, and accelerate tourists in finding and obtaining information about the location of tourist attractions in Sumenep Regency. Based on the closest travel search trials using the Android Application it produces an accuracy of 95%.

Abstract

The influence and role of information technology in the Indonesian business sector is very large. With this technology, in today's era, people are required to live an efficient lifestyle, for example when making buying and selling transactions. However, this has an impact on small shops that are less competitive than online stores that can provide convenience in finding products and making shopping transactions. Grocery shops in Sidoarjo Regency are less competitive and experience a decline in consumer purchasing power due to the minimal use of E-Commerce on the development of their shop business. This study aims to determine the effect of Android-based Grocery Shop Business ECommerce using the Haversine Formula Algorithm. The targeted results of this activity are that by implementing this E-commerce application, people will be facilitated in various ways in making buying and selling transactions starting from finding the distance to the nearest shop, digital purchases, and the time spent. The test results from this study were carried out using the black box testing method. The testing process will be carried out on all functional needs that have been designed at the application design stage. The results of this research trial obtained a system accuracy of 100%, and received a rating of 74% as very good, 23% received a good rating and 3% received a sufficient rating from the results of user testing conducted on the haversine formula application.

Abstract

Children who have suffered from sexual violence face an increased risk of re-victimisation during judicial proceedings. A study by Hannah (2019) and Nina Papalia (2021) indicated that approximately 50% of child victims experience re-victimisation during trials, as they are required to relive their traumatic experiences. Countries like Norway and Brazil have introduced additional preventive measures to mitigate these negative effects. This normative study utilises statutory, conceptual and comparative approaches, aiming to examine the regulations governing the testimony of child victims of sexual violence in Indonesia, Norway and Brazil. Additionally, it seeks to identify positive aspects that could enhance Indonesia’s juvenile justice system. The findings suggest that Brazil’s ‘Special Testimony’ model for child testimony is more suitable for adoption in Indonesia than the ‘Nordic Model’ used in Norway. The ‘Special Testimony’ approach that could be integrated into Indonesia’s juvenile justice system includes (1) conducting investigations with electronic recording, which can be used as evidence in court; (2) having testimony examined by a psychologist or investigator trained in child psychology; (3) limiting a child’s testimony to a single occurrence during the investigation stage, unless deemed necessary by the judge; and (4) utilising technology or electronic devices during special examinations by a psychologist in a designated interview room.

Abstract

Skin is part of the outer layer of the human body which is flexible, soft and sensitive and is the first line of defense from various germs, viruses, bacteria and what is very important and the main part is facial skin, therefore we must keep it healthy, fresh and clean by determining proper beauty facial treatment. This research was conducted to design and create an expert system capable of identifying facial skin types to determine facial beauty treatments. Making this expert system using forward chaining method. The result of this research is an application that can help make it easier for users to determine facial facial treatments without having to queue and wait for consultations with a beauty doctor, so that they can immediately determine the appropriate type of skin facial treatment through the Android application.

Abstract

Rumah pintar atau smart home telah mengalami perkembangan pesat dengan adopsi teknologi Internet of Things (IoT). Penggunaan IoT dalam konteks keamanan rumah memberikan kemampuan untuk mengontrol, mengawasi, dan mengamankan lingkungan rumah secara lebih efisien dan efektif. Namun, peningkatan koneksi perangkat ini juga membawa risiko keamanan yang signifikan, seperti ancaman terhadap data pribadi, privasi, dan integritas sistem. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pendekatan dan teknologi terkini dalam mengamankan rumah berbasis IoT. Fokus utama adalah pada pengidentifikasian dan mitigasi risiko keamanan yang muncul dari keterhubungan perangkat seperti kamera CCTV, sensor pintu, sistem alarm, dan perangkat pengendali lainnya. Metode penelitian melibatkan analisis terhadap protokol komunikasi yang digunakan, manajemen hak akses, serta implementasi enkripsi dan teknik keamanan lainnya. Hasilnya menyoroti pentingnya kesadaran akan keamanan bagi pengguna rumah pintar, serta pentingnya kerja sama antara industri, pemerintah, dan konsumen dalam mengembangkan standar keamanan yang kuat dan pembaruan perangkat lunak yang teratur. Penelitian ini juga menguraikan tantangan dan peluang dalam pengembangan sistem keamanan rumah berbasis IoT di masa depan. Kesimpulannya, integrasi IoT dalam rumah pintar menjanjikan kemudahan dan kenyamanan, tetapi harus disertai dengan upaya yang serius dalam memastikan keamanan dan privasi pengguna tetap terjaga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sebuah alat monitor ketersediaan bilik terapi di unit rehab medik menggunakan konsep Internet Of Things (IOT) berbasis perangkat lunak. Sistem ini mengintegrasikan sensor ultrasonik dan NodeMCU ESP8266 untuk secara otomatis mendeteksi ketersediaan ruang terapi. Tujuan utama dari sistem ini adalah untuk membantu staf medis dalam mencari dan menemukan bilik kosong dengan cepat dan efisien, menghemat waktu dan tenaga, serta meningkatkan kualitas layanan kepada pasien. Melalui penerapan teknologi sensor yang canggih, sistem ini memberikan informasi real-time kepada staf medis tentang status ketersediaan ruangan terapi, memungkinkan peningkatan efisiensi dalam proses pelayanan kesehatan. Diharapkan implementasi sistem ini dapat membawa inovasi dalam operasional rumah sakit dan memberikan pengalaman yang lebih baik bagi pasien serta staf medis.

Abstract

Pengelolaan sampah yang efisien merupakan salah satu tantangan di lingkungan tempat tinggal, termasuk di rumah kos. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sebuah sistem deteksi volume sampah di tempat sampah menggunakan sensor dan mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP8266 berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Sistem ini mengintegrasikan sensor ultrasonik untuk mengukur jarak antara permukaan sampah dan bagian atas tempat sampah, serta mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP8266 untuk memproses data dan mengirimkannya ke server melalui koneksi WiFi. Dengan menggunakan algoritma perhitungan volume, sistem dapat mendeteksi volume sampah secara real time dan memberikan notifikasi melalui aplikasi telegram atau pesan singkat ketika tempat sampah mendekati kapasitas penuhnya. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan sampah di rumah kos dengan menyediakan informasi volume sampah secara akurat dan tepat waktu, sehingga pengumpulan sampah dapat dilakukan dengan lebih terencana dan mengurangi risiko penumpukan sampah yang berlebihan.

Abstract

This research is prompted by the reality that despite significant growth in Indonesia's tourism sector, the utilization of natural resources, especially in coastal areas, is still not fully optimized and is susceptible to corporate control, which can displace local communities. This situation is further complicated by issues of unequal access and power dynamics that hinder fair ecotourism management. The study's primary goal is to identify stakeholders and analyze the function of participatory communication in managing the Ketapang Urban Aquaculture (KUA) ecotourism site to ensure equitable access. Adopting a constructivist paradigm and a qualitative methodology, data was collected through a combination of in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and direct field observations. The findings reveal that, while the KUA project has been successful in terms of physical development, significant gaps remain at the community level, including the absence of structured community development programs and a low level of environmental awareness. Participatory communication serves as a crucial tool for bridging the diverse interests of various parties and boosting community involvement, which has been shown to mitigate conflict and strengthen solidarity among stakeholders. Consequently, this research advocates for a more inclusive communication approach to enhance sustainable ecotourism management.Keywords: Participatory communication, local community, stakeholder analysis, ecotourism ABSTRAKRiset ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fakta bahwa meskipun sektor pariwisata Indonesia telah berkembang pesat, pemanfaatan sumber daya alam, khususnya di wilayah pesisir, masih belum optimal dan rentan terhadap dominasi korporasi yang dapat meminggirkan masyarakat lokal. Kondisi ini diperburuk oleh masalah ketidakadilan akses dan kekuasaan yang menghambat pengelolaan ekowisata yang adil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan pemangku kepentingan dan menganalisis peran komunikasi partisipatif dalam pengelolaan Ekowisata Ketapang Urban Aquaculture (KUA) untuk mewujudkan keadilan akses. Menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme dan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, FGD, dan observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun proyek KUA berhasil mencapai pembangunan fisik, ada kesenjangan signifikan di tingkat komunitas, seperti kurangnya program pengembangan masyarakat dan rendahnya kesadaran lingkungan. Komunikasi partisipatif menjadi elemen utama untuk menjembatani kepentingan berbagai pihak dan meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat, yang terbukti dapat mengurangi konflik dan memperkuat solidaritas antar pemangku kepentingan. Oleh karena itu, riset ini merekomendasikan strategi komunikasi yang lebih inklusif untuk perbaikan pengelolaan ekowisata yang berkelanjutan.Kata Kunci: Komunikasi partisipatif, komunitas lokal, analisis stakeholder, ekowisata

Abstract

UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah) “Dapur Atha” yang bergerak dibidang bisnis makanan selama ini penjualannya tidak mengalami peningkatan hal ini dikarenakan adanya proses pemasaran yang kurang meluas. Mitra hanya memasrkan produknya hanya di sekitar Wilayah Taman atau wilayah tempat produksi saja. Dengan adanya kondisi tersebut, maka diperlukan kemajuan teknologi dengan melakukan penjualan melalui pemasaran online dengan media Website Statis dan Pengembangan Pemasaran melalui E-Commerce Shopee. Tujuan program ini adalah melaksanakan sosialisasi dan pelatihan tentang pemasaran secara online bagi mitra. Adapun hasil kegiatan dari program ini adalah adanya peningkatan kunjungan dan penjualan baik dalam Website Statis dan E-Commerce Shopee.
