Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of competency-based Human resources (HR) development strategies in improving employee performance at Jambi University. This research is descriptive using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the HR development strategy and competency standards in improving employee performance at the University of Jambi are guided by the Main Performance Indicators of State Universities IKU-PTN and the Jambi University Strategic Plan 2021-2024. This strategy has improved the competence of lecturers and education staff.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the home industry development on marketing performance through digital marketing by optimizing the Canva application in Lubuk Nagodang Village, Kerinci Regency, Jambi. The population in this study is MSMEs in Lubuk Nagodang Village, Kerinci Jambi Regency. While the sample of this research is MSMEs who take part in home industry development training through digital marketing by optimizing the Canva application. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in marketing performance and sales performance during the Covid-19 pandemic after marketing training through digital marketing by optimizing the Canva application. The usefulness of this research can theoretically be used as a reference for further researchers by developing models with the latest digital marketing applications. In addition, it can be practically implemented by MSMEs in running their business.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has also accelerated virtual transformation in various countries. Technological developments are increasingly sophisticated. Various innovations have sprung up in every government agency. This affects the accessibility of public services. This online service is the result of the implementation of E-Government. This study aims to determine the transformation of digital public services during the Covid-19 pandemic to realize E-Government within the Jambi City Regional Government. This study uses an observational research type. Forms of data collection with documents, observations and in-depth interviews then the researchers tested the credibility and carried out data analysis including data reduction, data presentation and research conclusions. The research design used is a qualitative research method. All data were obtained using analysis on various related literature. The results of the study show that if you want to realize the maximum e-government system in Jambi City, synergy is needed from various Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) related to data in the Jambi City Government. So that this digital government transformation is felt by the community, because if the government wants to rebuild public trust, then by increasing government transparency, accessibility, communication, and quality of service the community will feel directly.

Abstract

One of the keys to the success of higher education is the quality of human resources or lecturers. This research aims to determine the implementation of innovative strategies for developing lecturer competencies towards superior human resources in the post-covid-19 pandemic at Universitas Jambi. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques used in research include observation, interviews, documentation and literature study using steps including data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Triangulation in this qualitative research uses source triangulation, namely the researcher will make comparisons and check information obtained through different times and tools. The conclusion of this research is that the strategy for developing lecturer competencies begins with mapping lecturer competencies, developing curriculum and learning methods, developing training programs, developing lecturers and evaluating assessments. The development of lecturer competencies towards superior human resources needs to be improved, including digital competency development, pedagogical competency development, research competency development, professional competency development, and leadership competency development for lecturers.

Abstract

In the digitalization era, every company is expected to be able to solve the problems faced by consumers quickly and based on technology so that they can compete with competitors in facing the era of industrial revolution 4.0. In the hotel industry, good service quality and customer satisfaction have an important role in building customer loyalty. Aims to analyze the influence of excellent service on customer loyalty, the influence of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty and excellent service and customer satisfaction together on customer loyalty in star hotels in Jambi City. This research uses quantitative descriptive research. In this research, researchers collected data to test the hypothesis and multiple linearity regression analysis, and F test and t test. The research results show that excellent service has a positive effect on customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction has a positive effect on customer loyalty and excellent service and customer satisfaction together have a positive effect on customer loyalty, which shows that to increase customer loyalty, excellent service quality and customer satisfaction must also be improved.

Abstract

The era of globalization of the digital world has become a challenge for which the provision of goods and services to obtain labeling or recognition of healthy and halal foods is one in the field of food offered in stores, mini-markets, or supermarkets. This research builds on the previous dedication to halal; it also seeks to map the evolution of research on halal certification over an 18-year period, employing a bibliometric analysis approach with Dimension AI data. This in-depth examination of scientific literature and work on halal certifications aims to understand the concept and its evolution year by year. We collected the data by examining Article, Chapter, Monograph, and Proceeding publications, which yielded a total of 15,999 documents on halal certification published from 2007 to 2024. We evaluate the data using the VOSviewer software and classify it into three categories: network visualization, overlay visualization, and density visualization. The results show a considerable increase in publication of halal certification by 2023, which is 3,492 documents compared to the previous year. The trends among halal-based industrial research writers indicate that Fischer, Johan, is the most productive writer. According to keyword analysis, the most commonly used term in developing the trend of halal certification research is 'halal certification', followed by keywords related to review, effects, UMKM, and medium-sized enterprises. There are two countries that have made the largest contributions to halal certification research: Indonesia and Malaysia.
