Abstract

At the work, stress work is required in order to increase employee’s work. However, if a person chases the ambition and having an over pressure at work, it will cause distress to appear which causing an employee has a desire to search for a new job that has correspond with their ambition and workload. Comfortability, and inconvenience of an employee to their working environment will show desire to search for a new work. This research was arranged to explain the definition of work stress, turnover, what is turnover intention, and the correlation of turnover intention with work stress. The type of data used to create this research is qualitative data by amassing scientific researches which the source was from Google Scholar and Garda Rujukan Digital or GARUDA. This research showed that there was a positive impact between work stress with employee’s turnover intention.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the developing countries that is always trying to increase its economic growth. Indonesia has a large number of people with various ethnic backgrounds and diverse customs, so this situation has given rise to disparities between regions. This study aims to determine whether or not sigma convergence, to find out whether absolute and conditional convergence occurs or not, and to determine the speed of convergence. This study uses secondary data, namely Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) per capita, poverty, and inequality for each province in Indonesia from 2017-2021. The method used in this study is panel data with a fixed effect approach. The results of the analysis using the sigma convergence (σ) approach show the occurrence of convergence. The results of the absolute convergence analysis explain the divergence of GRDP per capita in Indonesia with a divergence speed of 13.76% per year. The results of the conditional convergence analysis show that there is a divergence of GRDP per capita in Indonesia with a divergence speed of 13.62% per year.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak brand awareness, persepsi privacy, dan persepsi keamanan terhadap kepercayaan konsumen online, dengan kepuasan sebagai variabel mediasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Populasi penelitian melibatkan konsumen online di media sosial Instagram di Tarakan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive dengan melibatkan 190 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner online yang telah diverifikasi validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis jalur (path) dengan regresi sederhana dan uji sobel. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Persepsi keamanan, persepsi privacy, dan brand awareness mammallike pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen. (2) Kepuasan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepercayaan konsumen. (3) Persepsi keamanan, persepsi privacy, dan brand awareness juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepercayaan konsumen. (4) Pengaruh positif dan signifikan persepsi keamanan, persepsi privacy, dan brand awareness terhadap kepercayaan konsumen online ditemukan, dengan kepuasan sebagai variabel mediasi.

Abstract

This research investigates the role of suitable corporate governance mechanisms in moderating the relationship between earnings management and firm value in manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This objective includes efforts to understand the extent to which good corporate governance can improve market perceptions of companies that implement earnings management, as well as providing empirical evidence about the importance of transparency and strict supervision in corporate management. In addition, this research aims to examine the influence of company size as a control variable, which can influence the relationship between earnings management and company value.The research method uses multiple linear regression analysis with moderator variables. The research results show that earnings management has a negative influence, although not significant, on company value. On the contrary, good corporate governance positively and significantly influences company value, showing the importance of transparency, accountability, and intense supervision in increasing stakeholder trust. However, the findings show that good corporate governance is insignificant in moderating the relationship between earnings management and firm value. The results of this research imply that unethical earnings management practices can harm a company's reputation in the long term. At the same time, good corporate governance positively impacts company value. Although GCG does not moderate this relationship, implementing strong GCG practices remains essential to maintain the integrity of capital markets. These results provide valuable guidance for companies and stakeholders in achieving optimal financial performance through wise earnings management and effective corporate governance.

Abstract

Purpose his research aims to measure the extent of financial management competence possessed by MSME players, including Education and Training, Legal Compliance, Partnerships, and Networks, as well as the Application of Digital Technology in optimizing their profits. Methodology The research method used by researchers is quantitative. This research was conducted on 100 MSMEs in Tarakan City. Data collection was carried out using a structured questionnaire. The sampling technique used in this research was simple random sampling. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis using the SmartPLS program. Findings The analysis results show that education and training have a significant positive impact on optimizing MSME profits. Apart from that, Legal Compliance also has a significant positive impact on optimizing MSME profits. Networking has a significant positive impact on optimizing MSME profits. Digitalization positively optimizes MSME profits, although the impact may not be as strong as other variables. Originality The development of MSMEs in Tarakan City was followed by various problems, including not yet optimal financial management, which resulted in the difficulty of achieving optimal profit. Financial management is a problem in MSMEs because MSME owners often ignore the importance of recording financial reports. Thus, financial management is essential to apply to MSMEs.

Abstract

One of the mandatory programs for students of Borneo Tarakan University is the Real Work Lecture (KKN) by combining students from various departments into one group placed in a village to carry out community service. Group 19 was placed in Sebidai Village, Tana Tidung with the aim of "Optimizing Village Development towards Independent Villages". The problems were the lack of public understanding about proper agricultural land clearing, the low knowledge in managing agricultural products (taro) into superior products, and the lack of village understanding regarding fair and reasonable retribution. The activities included socialization on the dangers of illegal land clearing, entrepreneurship training on processing taro into marketable chips and cakes, as well as the proposal of village regulations regarding retribution. The results of the activities had a positive impact, with the community being more vigilant in land clearing, taro-based products being able to be marketed, and village regulations on retribution being completed as requested by the Village Head.

Abstract

The community service program "Development of YouTuber-Based Entrepreneurship for Students and Generation Z" aims to equip the younger generation with skills and understanding of the potential of digital platforms, especially YouTube. This program includes outreach activities, workshops, mentoring, content development and network collaboration.  Participants gain knowledge about how to utilize social media such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook to develop business. They are also trained in technical skills for creating video content, from shooting to editing. Participants were 30 students on 10 October 2024 at the economics faculty of the University of Borneo, Tarakan. Workshop, namely technical training in creating video content, including shooting, editing and creative strategies. Digital marketing strategies and personal branding are important materials for building a loyal audience and increasing competitiveness. This program emphasizes the principles of creativity, courage, innovation and adaptability as the basis for participants to develop as competent content creators. Mentoring activities involve experienced practitioners, providing practical insights and direction relevant to the digital world. As a result, this program has had a positive impact, helping participants understand opportunities in the digital world to develop sustainable entrepreneurship. It is hoped that this program will continue to develop with wider coverage and updated material for greater benefits.ABSTRAKProgram pengabdian masyarakat "Pengembangan Kewirausahaan Berbasis Pekerja Seni 'YouTuber' pada Mahasiswa dan Generasi Z" bertujuan membekali generasi muda dengan keterampilan dan pemahaman tentang potensi platform digital, khususnya YouTube. Program ini mencakup kegiatan penyuluhan, workshop, mentoring, pengembangan konten, dan kolaborasi jaringan.  Peserta memperoleh pengetahuan tentang cara memanfaatkan media sosial seperti YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, dan Facebook untuk mengembangkan bisnis. Mereka juga dilatih keterampilan teknis pembuatan konten video, dari pengambilan gambar hingga pengeditan. Peserta sebanyak 30 mahasiswa pada 10 oktober 2024 di fakultas ekonomi Universitas Borneo Tarakan. Workshop yaitu dengan Pelatihan teknis pembuatan konten video, termasuk pengambilan gambar, pengeditan, dan strategi kreatif. Strategi pemasaran digital dan personal branding menjadi materi penting untuk membangun audiens yang loyal dan meningkatkan daya saing. Program ini menekankan prinsip kreatif, berani, inovatif, dan adaptif sebagai landasan peserta untuk berkembang sebagai content creator kompeten. Kegiatan mentoring melibatkan praktisi berpengalaman, memberikan wawasan praktis dan arahan relevan dengan dunia digital. Hasilnya, Peserta memahami cara memanfaatkan platform digital, seperti YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, dan Facebook, untuk mendukung pengembangan usaha berbasis seni dan kreativitas.

Abstract

QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) is a digital payment standard initiated by Bank Indonesia to facilitate non-cash transactions quickly, safely and efficiently. This article aims to describe the community education process regarding QRIS through community service programs. The methods used include counseling, direct training, and assistance in using QRIS. The results of the activity show an increase in public understanding and awareness of the use of QRIS, especially among MSMEs and households. This article concludes that QRIS education has a significant impact in encouraging financial inclusion and digitalization of the community's economy.ABSTRAKQRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) merupakan standar pembayaran digital yang diinisiasi oleh Bank Indonesia untuk memudahkan transaksi non-tunai secara cepat, aman, dan efisien. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses edukasi masyarakat terkait QRIS melalui program pengabdian masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan langsung, dan pendampingan penggunaan QRIS. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap penggunaan QRIS, khususnya di kalangan UMKM dan rumah tangga. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa edukasi QRIS memiliki dampak signifikan dalam mendorong inklusi keuangan dan digitalisasi ekonomi masyarakat.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengelola keuangan dan memanfaatkan peluang investasi. Literasi keuangan yang rendah seringkali menjadi hambatan bagi masyarakat pedesaan dalam mencapai kesejahteraan ekonomi. Oleh karena itu, program ini dirancang untuk memberikan edukasi yang komprehensif mengenai pengelolaan keuangan pribadi, strategi menabung, serta dasar-dasar investasi yang aman dan terjangkau. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Lidung Kemenci Kabupaten Malinau. Program ini diharapkan dapat memberdayakan masyarakat secara ekonomi dengan memberikan mereka kemampuan untuk membuat keputusan keuangan yang cerdas, meminimalisir risiko keuangan, serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan melalui pengelolaan keuangan yang lebih baik. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang literasi keuangan dan investasi. Partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam diskusi dan sesi tanya jawab juga mencerminkan antusiasme mereka untuk belajar dan mengimplementasikan ilmu yang diperoleh dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan adanya program ini, diharapkan masyarakat Desa Lidung Kemenci dapat lebih mandiri secara finansial dan memiliki ketahanan ekonomi yang lebih baik di masa depan

Abstract

The involvement of women in the productive business sector will lead to social change. The entry of women into the labor market or productive work affects household economic activities, resulting in changes in the family's economic structure. This became the rationale for this PKM activity to be carried out. The partners for this activity were a group of housewives in RT 65, Karang Anyar sub-district and Beringin Area, which became the basis for the premise that it was very necessary for this group of housewives to be provided with entrepreneurial skills and product-making skills that could be developed to improve the family economy. The problems of this group of housewives include: there is no guidance in increasing the empowerment of housewives, community activities have not been directed at increasing the knowledge and skills of housewives in terms of their contribution to improving family welfare, community activities that have narrowed into productive economic activities have not been implemented, Entrepreneurial activities for housewives are very limited and have not been developed and there is no stimulant assistance in the form of training and tools that are in accordance with their interests and skills as an incentive to apply their potential. The solution taken is training in product manufacturing skills and an understanding of entrepreneurship.
