Abstract

Background: Patient safety` culture in Indonesia is regulated through ministerial policies emphasizing leadership, teamwork, and staff support. Despite initiatives such as HSOPSC and SAQ, implementation remains partial, with strengths in leadership and teamwork but weaknesses in incident reporting and communication. Leadership, knowledge, attitudes, motivation, and communication significantly influence safety culture outcomes. Purpose: To analyze the dominant factors related to patient safety culture. Method: Correlation research design with cross-sectional and analysis approaches was conducted at Batang Hari Hospital from February – March 2025. A simple random sampling technique was applied, yielding a final sample of 99 respondents. Data collection was conducted using a structured questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test with a 95% confidence level, where p-values below 0.05 indicated statistical significance. Multivariate analysis was subsequently performed through binary logistic regression with a stepwise approach Results: Leadership, knowledge, attitude, motivation, and communication in relation to patient safety culture yielded p-values less than 0.05. The dominant factors in patient safety implementation culture are leadership (p=0.045), knowledge (p=0.000), and communication (p=0.017). Conclusion: There is a relationship between leadership, knowledge, attitude, motivation, communication and patient safety culture. Knowledge emerges as the most dominant factors in the implementation of patient safety culture.

Abstract

The majority of Indonesia’s population adheres to Islam. Therefore, it is essential that food consumption complies with Islamic law, including food consumed on airplanes. However, the information available to passengers regarding the halal status of food remains unclear. The purpose of this study is to analyze the regulation of halal products in Indonesia and to analyze the right to halal product information provided by Indonesian airlines during flights. The research was conducted normatively using a legislative and conceptual approach. Data on halal food information was obtained through internet searches and the food provided by airlines. The results showed that the regulation of halal products in Indonesia more clearly provides protection to consumers than in the Netherlands. Indonesia requires every food product in circulation and trade to include a halal label, namely the halal logo and halal certificate number without exception, while in the Netherlands this is not the case. In Indonesia, food information with a halal label on the plane, not all of them include it on the packaging of food products even though they already have a halal certificate. Passengers will be more comfortable and confident if the halal label information is easy to find and easy to read either on product packaging or in certain places.

Abstract

As a part of translation, oral translation is a branch of the field of translation that focusing on interpreting language orally. Practically, oral translation has several weaknesses, one of which is unavailable of final data output from the translation that can be studied. Therefore, this study aimed to explore and investigate more deeply related aspects that are often studied in the field of interpreting. This study used a qualitative research approach with a comparative study approach who tried to find the pattern phenomenon of the problem, especially in court interpreting research. The results of the data showed in the comparative review of several articles form, especially in the court interpreting fields on legal aspects carried out in Indonesia and overseas. The final result can be concluded that research related to interpreting in Indonesia studies more focused on product based oriented meanwhile, the research conducted of overseas which more focused on aspects of process based oriented of oral translation, especially in court interpreting.

Abstract

This research was conducted by analyzing every utterance is contained in the Hacksaw Ridge film subtitle and its translation which represents the bald on record politeness strategy. This study not only aims to describe how the bald on record politeness strategy contained in the Hacksaw Ridge film subtitle from English to Indonesian but also researchers wants to examine the role of translators when faced with the audio-visual field, which has various rules that are not easy for professional translators to follow. In the Hacksaw Ridge film, the researcher found that the majority of utterances representing bald on record politeness strategies were translated using establish equivalent, variation, implicit, explicit, reduction, borrowing, and discursive creation techniques. In bald on record translations that apply the usual equivalent translation technique, it produces translations that are accurate, acceptable, and have a high level of legibility. In addition, the role of translators in the audio-visual field cannot decide for themselves how the translation is applied to audio-visual media. Of course, A translator will be interrupted by the subtitle editor and also the owner of the audio-visual media provider company that uses the translator's services.
